Honestly, it's been a really hard few months for me. Watching Jeremy go through his struggles was so sad and disheartening. My interest in Pro basketball has pretty much disappeared since the news of no more Jeremy Lin in the NBA. I'll still try to follow his games in China but I just find it really hard to get excited about the CBA.
We've been so fortunate to have 9 years of something to look forward to at the beginning of each season. There were times during his career when Jeremy knew he was one of if not the best player on the floor during an NBA game! And it was such a joy to behold. But at the end with Toronto, his confidence was shot, he looked broken physically and mentally.
Now, with a year to actually train instead of rehab, Jeremy has a chance to gain back confidence and regain his explosiveness. If he can also get his 3 point % into the 40's, he'll have a chance to come back to the NBA in March after the end of the CBA season. That's the hope and that's what I'm looking forward to this year.
