Amazing Game for JLin!

What a game for the Hawks and JLin against the Raptors who have the best record in the NBA. Jeremy finished with 20 points and 9 assists on 8 of 10 from the field as they came up just short, 104-101. He played a seasons most 34 minutes as he started at the 2.

Once again, injuries are the only reason Jeremy got this opportunity. With Bazemore out and Huerter a late scratch, Jeremy started for the first time this season. I'm sure if Huerter wasn't injured, the Hawks lose by double digits and JLin plays his usual 20 minutes. This is the frustrating thing. We know that with JLin in the starting lineup at the 1 or 2, this team has a great shot at the playoffs. JLin's D was very strong as well and he was the best player on the court not named Kawhi.

Jeremy did have a chance to go 2 for 1 at about the 32 second mark at the end of the game but being up one, he didn't force it and they still had the opportunity to win it on the last possession. Obviously, they drew up the play for Trae not expecting Kawhi to be guarding him. Bad decision by Trae but he is young and learning fast. Man, they gotta play Trae and Lin together a lot more. Even when the injured guys are back. They are real dangerous together. You gotta be able to see this. It is so so obvious.
