JLin scores 21 off the bench going 8 for 9 from the line and finishing with a +17 helping the Hornets even the series with the Heat 2-2. Jeremy has played great with Batum out the past two games. As we predicted here, this was the opportunity JLin needed to get going.
Game 5 in Miami could be the biggest game of JLin's career. A huge game by Jeremy and a win over the Heat could launch the Hornets to a deep playoff run and bring him Linsanity like attention again. With his player option next year (great work by his agent Roger Montgomery by the way), this game alone could mean many millions of dollars. In the last two games alone, I'd say he's increased his next contract yearly salary by a few million to the 10-12 million a year range. The Heat will no doubt be looking to corral Lin and prevent him from going off again. This would be the perfect game to find his shooting stroke as getting to the rim will be tough and I don't expect him to get many calls in Miami.
