This video helps explain what's wrong with the Lakers. There's never just one reason why things get so bad. But in my mind, even with the lack of talent and shooters on this team, the most glaring problem is the outdated thinking and schemes run by Byron Scott and his staff. Does he even realize that shooting 30% from 3 is equivalent to shooting 45% from 2? Does he not get that modern basketball is about drive, draw, and kick?
Also, if his name was Byron Wong, do you think he would have ever gotten another chance with this coaching record?
