Twitter War?

So we had a little back and forth last night with Mike De Moor (a "contributor" to Yahoo Sports).  IMHO, his article is ridiculous.  Among other things, he writes that what really matters is not who starts the game, but who finishes the game.  Of course, then he says this:
The question remains, in the final two minutes of a tight game against an elite point guard like CP3 or Parker, who should run point for Houston? Would you put in an offense-first point guard who has trouble with on-ball defense and spot-up shooting, or would you elect to go with an elite defender whose best offensive showing came in last year's postseason?
Our seven (or so) exchanges are cut and pasted below.  Enjoy.

Here's the first:
  1. At least you're saying respectfully... I've been a Rockets fan for life, so I want both 2 succeed big time
  2. I also want both to succeed. But McHale is handling this poorly. Most players not treated like has been.
  3. Wait, how is he handling it poorly?
  4. McHale is jerking JLin around and not treating him with respect

And the second:
  1. I'm asking this in all seriousness: Do you watch basketball or are you just a Lin enthusiast?
  2. u say starting/not starting is semantics. So MY ques to u is this: have you ever PLAYED Bball, or do u just watch?

The third:
  1. Regardless of who starts, which is just semantics in all honesty, the ultimate goal is a title for Houston
  2. ultimate goal is always a championship; but ur fooling urself if u think starting is just semantics
  3. Na man, I am not. You must be... 6th man is a perfect role for a scoring PG (Jamal Crawford, Jerryd Bayless)
  4. JLin is more than just a scoring PG

The fourth:
  1. And for most teams, the goal is not championship sir... only a few teams head into the year thinking title
  2. what’s your point? Why r u changing the subject from ur absurd statement that starting/not staring is just semantics?
  3. It is semantics.. Anyone who plays ball knows that it isn't about who starts, it's about who finishes

The fifth:
  1. And for most teams, the goal is not championship sir... only a few teams head into the year thinking title
  2. what’s your point? Why r u changing the subject from ur absurd statement that starting/not staring is just semantics?
  3. But that snide answer proves that you aren't too adept to the game
  4. Sorry. Dont mean to be snide. But ask all players if starting is just semantics. You can’t be serious.
  5. Players will do what's best for the team, and Lin coming off the bench and leading the 2nd unit is best 4 the team
  6. we’ll see. I think Lin will play better with Howard than PBev will.
  1. We will see... Obviously he won't wanna come off the bench, but you gotta keep the peace w/i the team, ya know?
  2. true and he will. Lin is a team player

The sixth:
  1. McHale is doing nothing wrong. I want Lin to succeed, but he's not a prince and he doesn't deserve special treatment
  2. I agree. No special treatment. But I still think this has been handled differently than should be expected.

The seventh:
  1. If you remember correctly, Harden played a huge role on a championship-caliber team and came off the bench
  2. I do remember. Bit ask him if he wants to come off the bench.
