  1. WTH harden missing FT? Choking early? Or strep taking over. Expect more min for Lin second half, he is getting more comfy on court!

    1. I don't blame Harden for missing FTs. That's the strep throat.

I just blame him for going ISO at the end of the 4th. Killed the momentum and made his own life a lot tougher.

      Delete
    2. No excuses for those misses. Those were big free throws and again he can't come through.

    3. CHOKE!!!!

I've been writing for months that James Harden cannot handle pressure!

There's nothing anybody can do to fix that. It's in his elemental makeup, has been since the moment he entered the NBA.

      Delete
  2. Jeremy shaking the rust off.

He's not 100% obviously, but he's handling the ball 1/3 of the time, he's playing great defense, he had an impressive rebound and he made his first shot -- a three!

Harden's strep is causing his FT misses. Very winnable game if Jeremy's teammates can stop committing dumb fould and/or Jeremy goes off in the 2nd half.

    1. we don't win those winnable games though. We only win when we have huge leads or when the opposing team absolutely collapses.

  3. Crowd calling ISO Harden as MVP is an insult to the whole meaning of MVP lol

    ReplyDelete

    1. You saw melo did his iso's too in the 4th when they almost lost to boston? When the lead was down to single digit and knicks had a TO, he looked hurt and acted hurt but played like nothing happened during next possession of the ball.reminds me so much of harden..superstars act like hollywood actors

      Delete
  4. One of the major reasons OKC is doing better is because if Jackson. The team needs Lin more on defense than offense. He needs to shut down Jackson in the second half.

    ReplyDelete
  5. How the heck are we losing this game? We're beating them in basically every statistical category. Well, except TO's, we've almost got double what they have.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Didn't help with Harden pissing away the lead towards end of 1st q.

But yes TOs are killing Rox.

      Delete
    2. "We" are losing this game because Lin is the only Houston Rocket playing defense and trying to play unselfish team basketball.

The Rockets do not deserve to win this game with their refusal to play defense and their SCARED isoball where selfish guys think they have to be the hero to win this game.

      Delete
    3. We're sending OKC to the free throw 17 times, and they made all 17 FT's while Asik missed 1, G. Smith missed 2, and Harden missed 3 FT's ... Mr. Clutch.

      Delete
    4. OKC's 4pt lead boils down to HOU missed 6FTs and took one shot less in spite making 1 addl 3pointer.

      Delete
    5. TO's and OKC is the best free throw team in the league.

      Delete
    6. Smith and Harden are usually money on their FT's. Smith has been missing FT's in the playoffs though.

      Delete
  6. Still can't believe GSW rolled Denver...

But anyway looking forward to a good 3rd q.

Heh McHale realized real quick JLin is the only guard that can stop RJ. Soon as he put Lin back out there RJ stopped attacking.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Lin's the only player on either team playing TEAM BASKETBALL.

I'm impressed at how Lin's trying to settle the team down and spread the ball around while playing good solid defense.

Houston just doesn't rotate defensively. The only player that actually gets after people is Lin. Nobody else even TRIES, not even Asik!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Garcia is probably the only other exception?

      Delete
    2. Agreed KHuang, Harden was totally screwing up the flow, wasn't realizing what Lin was trying to do, but it was evident after he came back in 2nd time.

      Delete
    3. Garcia is SUPER NICE, but he can't cover the court athletically on either end of the court or lead the team like Lin can.

      Delete
  8. Once JLin entered, RJ stopped driving. Stopped the bleeding. Now Harden/Parsons gotta make it happen on offense.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Harden and Parsons are TOO SELFISH to make it happen on offense.

The Rockets should let Lin run the offense and make sure that everybody gets shots in an unpredictable way.

Ironically, the one guy McHale DOESN'T want in Lin running his offense is the only guy that can actually run it!

      Delete
    2. Exactly, Lin is unpredictable/exciting and at times unstoppable and that is why his style of play captivated the world.

      Delete
  9. McBitch would you pls let Lin start over foulmachine now? no you wont? a you want Reggie Jackson to go off on us again? aiiight

    1. thanks for confirming why you'd be a horrible NBA head coach.

      Delete
    2. Why would that be a dumb decision, 31f troll?

You must be PISSED that Lin handcuffed Jackson, thus PUNKING THE CRAP OUT OF YOU.

      Delete
  10. I want this win, bad. Let's go Lin and HOU.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. houston makes big runs in 3rd quarter. should be able to get the lead back.

      Delete
    2. We've gotta tighten up our D. Can't have guys like Martin, Jackson and Fisher going off.

      Delete
    3. agree k.smith

      Delete
  11. One thing I'm noticing is Lin is letting RJ disappear behind him...Looked like they were doing box and one? If so they're not rotating fast enough.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin is playing rotational help defense because the Houston players outside of Garcia aren't even TRYING to guard their men straight up.

But because Lin has Jackson's game diagnosed, Lin feels that he can play the helping zone and yet recover quickly enough to shut down Jackson. It's WORKING.

      Delete
  12. Lin plays better in second half, i expect him to stay good in his defense ( as he is doing now) and better on offense..i hope he plays in the fourth

    ReplyDelete
  13. Clippers falling apart...They will probably not make round 2.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I feel like KD is going to go on fire this half...

  17. Love Garcia's game.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Parsons going crazy trying to defend KD

And Kd just calmly shoots his jumper.

Though Parsons pays him back with a 3.

    Tied interesting

    ReplyDelete
  19. Parsons, most assisted player on the rockets. Great 3's.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Dear Parsons, stick to being a scorer rather than a playmaker.you're good at it. Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  21. if asik can finish those types of shots he'd be so deadly

    1. I'd take the foul and FTs for crunch time.

    2. true, but an And+1 is always a plus too

    3. Right ... splitting them didn't help.

      Delete
  22. Chalking up fouls on Ibaka. Keep up the pressure.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Good shooting, POOR team play.

OKC is strangely absent defensively. The big men are completely out of position.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not sure what they are doing, but their defense 3q is horrible right now.

Rockets capitalizing, those 3 treys by Parsons don't help either.

      Delete
    2. Parsons and Garcia are hitting everything.

      Delete
  24. Ok, let's keep Durant mad.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I told you guys Thunder has trouble playing against a man to man then switch to zone defense.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Cat and mouse ... Rox have their heads on!

    ReplyDelete
  27. lol justin bieber just caught fire

    ReplyDelete
  28. PARSONNNNNNNNNSS LETS ride the hot hand

    ReplyDelete
  29. Feed the eff out if parsons. The basket must look as humongous as Khuang's head to him right now.

    He clearly stole Lin's mojo..

    ReplyDelete
  30. Now that we're winning without Lin on the court, the troll(s) come back.

    ReplyDelete
  31. What's important right now is tight D to up their lead.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Scott Brooks stopped going with Jackson, too much ISO Durant. Durant is not a playmaker, he's a scorer like Harden. Jackson has to take over this game while Kmartin is sitting.

Rockets need to go with the hot hand right now and keep giving Parsons the open 3 point looks. Harden has to continue to stay away from Iso Harden and keep feeding Asik. Once Scott Brooks makes the adjustment start getting Garcia open looks and Harden can do a couple of Iso Harden when not double teamed.

When both team's 2nd unit comes in, the Rockets 2nd unit has to play better and keep the momentum going.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But again Houston is living by the 3. So if their 3 point shooting goes cold they will be in trouble. I like the fact that they have gotten Asik involved in the offensive end.

      Delete
    2. Thunders settling for too many jumpshots.

      Delete
  33. Sefolosha doing a good job on single coverage against Harden.

OKC knows that Harden cannot beat their individual defenders to the basket.

Kevin Durant getting LIT UP by Parsons. He's just out of defensive position, and the OKC big men are out of position this game. There's no need for that because Houston's players outside of Harden and the injured Lin cannot create off the dribble!

    ReplyDelete
  34. They need to put Lin back in, bev isn't doing anything atm.

    ReplyDelete
  35. This team really doesn't need a PG.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. thats really how houston's offense is. all improvision no set plays.

      Delete
    2. No really. The ball still runs through Harden.

      Delete
    3. well yea, but its still all improvising. grantland explained this a while back

      Delete
    4. with that they don't necessarily need a PG? yea, at least not with this style offense.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Harden jumping up and down like a cry baby should have been called traveling violation.

    ReplyDelete
  38. OKC in trouble, they're not hitting their shots.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Thunder has no clue how to beat a man to man zone defense.

    ReplyDelete
  40. OKC is in panic mode :D

Time to step on the gas. Make it 15pt lead!

    ReplyDelete

    1. If Brooks pulls another Hack Asik he should be fired asap!

  41. Rockets are winning the 3 point shooting battle again.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Gee Jackson got some hop on him !

    ReplyDelete
  43. refs trying to bail out the thunder.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lin is sitting too long.

    He is cold now.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Freaking trolls, where are you now when Jackson starts going off on Bev.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Beverly finally makes a shot after sucking the whole game, and all the announcers have an orgasm. Jeremy played great minutes. It is not his fault that Parsons and Harden got hot again after Jeremy sat down. Rotten luck. If only they were shooting well when Lin was on the floor!!!!!! Ugh. I hope Lin gets back in the game.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Now everyone can see how Durant needs WB to be more effective. Durant has been exposed.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Bev is like a pesky fly on Durant :D

    Lovin' it.

  50. Jlin in!!!! McHale wants Lin now :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Lin stops RJ but no one there for KD :/

    ReplyDelete
  52. Nice defense by Lin on Jackson.

    ReplyDelete
  53. was that an air ball by Lin?

    ReplyDelete
  54. Lin has the worst luck .. He comes in .. 5 point turn around.. It's nothing he is doing.. Just bad luck!!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Well unlike Harden he knows he can't win a game by himself.

Lin is no hero, he's a legend :)

      Delete
    2. Had NOTHING to do with Lin.

Kevin Durant hit a crazy 3, Harden turned the ball over in the post, Lin got a stop on Jackson but the Rockets didn't rebound.

If anything, Houston RELAXES when Lin's in the game. It's as if they expect him to set everybody up and erase everybody's defensive mistakes.

      Delete
  55. lmao Scotty brooks looks like ken shamrock and he was demonstrating the perfect chest pass.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I like the fact Jlin took that 3 pointer even though he missed it. That's the type of mentality shooter mentality he needs to continue to have.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Lin is coming in cold.

Bev wasn't too effective despite the great mini hook.

    Can Lin get hot soon?

    ReplyDelete
  58. good motion on the 3 by Jlin.. bad luck it did not go in.. you never know if you don't try...

    ReplyDelete
  59. Harden stalled the ball again?

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yes that was an air ball by Lin. Looked bad.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Jlin came in when the momentum was shifting to OKC's favor. It's not Jlins fault. He's in the game for defense because Jackson is beginning to turn it on the offensive end.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Lin got FOULED on that 3.

But because he's Asian, he didn't get that call.

Even NBA rookies get that call.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm sorry, but who the heck taught Jeremy how to shoot? He's got one of the ugliest forms I've seen, with his elbow sticking out and his fingers too close together. I want him to do so well, but he makes me cringe at times.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Stop trolling again, hater.

Lin got BASHED on that 3 point attempt.

You're just pissed Lin made the NBA despite you saying he had no chance of making the league.

      Delete
    2. Who cares if the ball goes in.. look at Jim Furyk's golf swing .. not pretty but effective..

      Delete
  64. OMG ALMOST A DAMN STEAL...I'M SO GLAD THAT THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN...

    ReplyDelete
  65. Lin is getting predictable.

KMart read that and almost got a steal.

He needs to attack to throw some curve balls on OKC.

    ReplyDelete
  66. andreson cannot finish at the rim.

    ReplyDelete
  67. WTF was that Anderson???????

    ReplyDelete

    1. It was Serge Ibaka proving why he's a max contract shotblocker.

    Anderson can't finish.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He's not great at finishing at the rim.

      Delete
    2. No guys, Serge Ibaka flew in and EARNED his max contract money by blocking that shot!

      Delete
    3. Anderson is good at cutting. He can leap some, too. I remember a posterising dunk. This play, I say credit to Ibaka being Ibaka.

      Delete
  69. that was a good pass, anderson cant finish though.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Anderson is going to get benched...he's cold too...but offensive set on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  71. What the eff is Anderson doing?!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Eyetest seems to be Thunder got back defensively when J's on the floor

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You're right...it looks like they play harder on defense when Jlin is back on the floor.

      Delete
    2. It's not that.

Houston GOES TO SLEEP when Lin's on the floor.

The other 4 players on the court think that Lin's going to get them the ball in perfect scoring position, so they don't make their cuts!

      Delete
  73. Might be a last 2nd shot to LIN

    ReplyDelete
  74. Harden going ISO again.

This is great. They go hot, then go cold...

    4q gunna be interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Good help defense by Lin on Durant to challenge the last 2nd shot by Durant

    ReplyDelete
  76. hoping KD disappears in the 4th again.

    ReplyDelete
  77. GJ Lin stopping KD from making that last 3.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Harden goes ISO on offense and everyone watches. JLin goes ISO on defense and also everyone watches.

    ReplyDelete

    1. LOL!!!!

NICE ONE, BUT ITS TRUE, THE PARALLEL IS SCARY!!!

  79. Please don't let this come down to harden ISO please... Can't watch that shit!

    ReplyDelete
  80. Lin needs to stop leaving his man open!!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. SUPERB defense by Lin on several plays.

That one slip by Jackson was because Durant was elevating for a layup when Lin came over to challenge him.

The Houston Rockets just stop moving off the ball when Lin's on the court. It almost appears to me that the players are expecting Lin to get them the ball and so they relax instead of making their cuts!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That's a good guess. I thought it was tanking :-)

  82. Everytime Harden goes ISO, OKC will go on a scoring run... McHale still doesn't see it.

    1. Its so obvious.

Problem is McHale can't see past Harden's beard.

  83. Gotta love the way Lin play D. Man, the game is so much fun when he's on the floor minus all the iso bs.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Anderson out there really blew 2 offensive possession for the Rockets.

    Come on, Lin!
4Q is when legend is made.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Have a feeling that the Rox are going to lose this because of ISO ballhog harden. Will lose in the final seconds cause of that selfish asshole. Just got a bad feeling about this game and then guess what they'll blame it on Lin for no reason!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If we lose, it'll be like what it's been all season. We don't know how to close games, rely on Harden to iso too much, and don't play D.

      Delete
    2. They will lose this game by their 3 ball. I keep repeating it again and again you live or die by the 3 ball. They need to mix it up some more with a couple of penetration & PNR.

      Delete
  86. If you guys noticed they put Jlin in instead of AB. What does that tell you about what Mchale thinks of AB?

Will he let Jlin start the 4th quarter? He might, then depending how the game goes, he'll either keep Lin or have Bev come back in. Just my gut feeling.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Play your heart out Lin!!! This is it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  88. parsons with one of his typical TO's.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Anderson pays Lin back for his missed earlier.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Damn it Parsons stop trying to handle the ball just shoot.

Nice finish by Anderson on Lin's shot.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Time to bring home the gAme Lin ! Predation: Lin on scoring and assist run mid way though 4q.

  95. Seriously, Greg Smith should never be on the court.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Replies
    1. Because nobody else can guard Reggie Jackson.

  97. Lin now only 3 point shooter? Lets see some drives. Maybe he is trying to avoid contact

    ReplyDelete
  98. Lin and Parsons with TO's, Parsons trying to do too much. Durant, Martin and Fisher hitting all their damn shots.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Well guys it was nice knowing you.. Gotta get ready to say my byes..

    ReplyDelete
  100. That was Jlin's chance to try to take over the game. Not a good pas for a lob because Smith's defender was in front of Smith. He needs to just jump stop and do a 3 feet jumper in Fisher's face.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Lin needs to attack. He can clearly blow past people but he is passing it out or into the paint. Is this a confidence problem?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Soon as he gets a couple of layups no matter how hurt he is he is going to explode.

He is not penetrating to open up his game.

  102. haha greg smith is sooo bad but lin will be benched book it
jeremy we are trying to win game here you cant expect smith to watch out for passes

    ReplyDelete
  103. Greg Smith ran right into Lin's layup path!

No wonder Lin turned that ball over! UGLY cut by Smith, and that's why Lin was yelling at Smith afterwards.

Chandler Parsons receives the ball in too good a position with Lin on the court, and so he goes iso for bricks.

It sounds crazy, but the Rockets are playing poorly with Lin on the court because guys are getting COMPLACENT with him creating shots and covering up for defensive mistakes!

I say BENCH LIN - and I'm a rabid Lin fan!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Like I said earlier, the 2nd unit of the Rockets has to hold the fort. But it's OKC 2nd unit making these big runs instead...

    ReplyDelete
  105. I can't believe Jeremy doesn't try to attack when being defended by Fisher.
