So if Rox win tonight can McHale honestly take credit? He has coached most of these guys for like 5 minutes. Fact is Rox are hot shooting tonight and OKC is cold. Also no Wesrbrook. McHale can not take credit for this!
definitely rooting for thunder..screw the rockets..they probably won't even let lin play the next game anyhow. might as well just lose and let lin get his off season training going.
i'm a lin fan...i'll root for his team when he is playing..or if his team actually respects him, then i'll root for them even if jlin is injured and not playing...i'm sure most of the rocket fans and coaches think, " see. we can win without lin. we don't need lin. he'll just disrupt what we have going." So, no lin will not play even if rockets force a game 6 or 7. I mean, maybe rockets are better without lin. Having brooks and beverly might be better suited for this team. Lin is a bad fit with the role they want him to play..just trade him!
No, he's not. He's trolling. Rooting for the team, making sure to point out how well each HOU player is doing without Lin...even though no one's ripped on any player in the second half.
To be honest.. I don't know how McHale can put Lin back in if the team wins again.. I mean in the context of this whole season, do I think McHale has enuff faith in Lin to give him that opportunity? My gut says no.
At the very worse Lin would start but would get diminished minutes. But also, Mchale likes to play Lin and Beverly simultaneously. But no, I don't think Bev would start over Lin.
I go for increasing the lead to 20. Eockets are doing dumb mistakes right now. The clock is our friend and they are rushing and making bad plays. :( common we need to win this one please dont let it slip!
Looking at this OKC team without WB, they have really been exposed in a way that they don't have other real scoring threats besides WB & Durant. However, I think they didn't game plan enough to get KMart more involved or KMart is not being aggressive enough. If they need another scoring threat OKC needs to try to get KMart going if the Thunder is going to seal the deal in this series. If they don't Houston might upset the Thunder.
I know KMart is having a bad game he hasn't made any shots. But if he can get going it's going to help OKC to a win tonight. Durant can't do this all by himself.
I don't know about u guys. I like the fact that Rox are doing well. But the Rox winning the series without Lin would be the ultimate insult I wouldnt want to experience.
The difference tonight is the 3 point shots. You live by the 3 and die by the 3. Tonight they're living on the 3. Make no mistake, when Houston's 3 point shot game is not working you can see how bad their half court offense is.
Why in the world can we play 3 great quarters and now we get stagnant? And make horrible decisions and mistakes!? Man if we can Rockets pull this one off is because the Thunder arent making the easy shots.
5 min mark. Thunder need to go on a run right now and close the gap. They've always been good at coming back from last 5 mins. of the 4th. But without WB, I'm not sure who's going to share the scoring load with Durant.
Rockets need to hold out and play disciplined. The problem with their offensive system is that they don't know how to slow it down and play half court offense to kill the clock, even if they have a big lead. Also the Harden ISO kills it for them too. They need to slow it down and take it inside for layups of short jumpers because missed 3 pointers will most likely result in fast breaks for the Thunder.
@BillSimmons: Scott Brooks is making a strong run at Vinny Del Negro's "Worst Coach Of Round One" with Hack Asik. Don't do that crap when you're a 1-seed.
Damn I was hoping for an OKC vs. Miami championship rematch. But it doesn't look like OKC will get past the 2nd round or if they choke won't even get past the Rockets in the 1st round.
Asik is a 50% free throw shooter. I would have gone with Hack an Asik if he was around the 30-40% FT mark. But you're gambling with 50/50 chance of him making free throws.
The Rox are about to do what no NBA team before them has done, come back from a 3 game deficit with FOUR IN A ROW BABY!!! C'mon guys, don't you want to see Jeremy win his first ring this year?? Where is your FAITH??? This could be the start of a new DYNASTY...
Anyone heard exactly what Mcfail said about Lin ? I think announcer explained that ?
ReplyDeleteWe all know how McHale thinks about Lin, (more or less). Nothing he say will astonish me anymore.
DeleteWhat did the announcer say?
DeleteInteresting how the rocket are currently ahead of OKC in the early 3rd quarter and there are like 12 comments only lol.
DeleteCome on guys cheer on the Rockets! That is what Lin would want!
Announcer said McHale held out Lin bec it wasn't"fair" to the team to let him play. Nice, huh?
DeleteHoping rockets will make these series
ReplyDeleteLin really contributed well on his team.
Parsons just over flowing with confidence.
ReplyDeleteBeloved Parsons.
DeleteLin with white rims.. He's stylin tonight..
ReplyDeleteHarden with the Dagger!
ReplyDeleteOKC opened 2nd half with ISO-Durant and clanking threes from his teammates.
ReplyDelete12pt lead now.
Who knew Bev's single lunge can change the whole series?
Love Beverly's tenacity
DeleteThat's his greatest asset. Hustle.
DeleteWow OKC is not going anywhere this year...
ReplyDeleteI see Harden going for 40! Lets go ROX
ReplyDeleteAnyone know why Lin has a different bench position than the last game?
ReplyDeleteIs that Lin coaching from the bench .. The dude is just standing now..
ReplyDeletelol i know i have been seeing that i think thats Lin standing saying things
DeleteDid U see him doing that thing with his fingers??? Lol..
DeleteLin or not. This Rox team is playing beautifully right now.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt
DeleteAsik <333
ReplyDeleteRuss was never holding durant back. KD is no leader..
ReplyDeleteHarden was late to contest Sefolosha's 3PT.. AGAIN!
ReplyDeleteIts ok,paint is more important. But he has to be aware of him from now.
DeleteScott brooks sounds desperate..
ReplyDeleteC'mon HOU, let's keep this going.
ReplyDeleteJust tuned in... wow, not too many comments... how is beverly and brooks doing
ReplyDeleteWonderful
Deletekinda quiet in 2nd half but Pnr to Asik by Parsons and Brook is working well.
DeleteI'm so proud of Asik now finishing with authority on PnR.
ReplyDeleteDUNK and DUNK!
Just tuned in... wow, not too many comments... how is beverly and brooks doing
ReplyDeletePretty good..
DeleteMaybe i've got crappy stream but it doesn't seem like the guys are even touching Durant.
ReplyDeleteBev with two back to backs.
ReplyDeleteBeverly ON FIRE!
ReplyDeleteYou must be trolling through kindness. Way to go.
Deletenot garcia!
ReplyDeleteThat is what brooks has to do. Fish can't guard anybody.
ReplyDeleteNot sure whom to root for... like a catch 22, no?
ReplyDeleteget Harden back on the court.
ReplyDeleteSo if Rox win tonight can McHale honestly take credit? He has coached most of these guys for like 5 minutes. Fact is Rox are hot shooting tonight and OKC is cold. Also no Wesrbrook. McHale can not take credit for this!
ReplyDeleteWhy not? Mchale did a great job tonight. Give credit where it is due.
DeleteThat's OK, Rose.
DeleteEven if Lin is not playing, we can root for his teammates to fight hard because he's doing the same thing.
There's always hope for Lin in Game 6.
I don't want to wait 5 months to see him play again if possible.
definitely rooting for thunder..screw the rockets..they probably won't even let lin play the next game anyhow. might as well just lose and let lin get his off season training going.
ReplyDeleteThat is what I think...
DeleteRooting for OKC? I dont understand? Aren't you Lin fans?
DeleteYeah, we're Lin fans, not Rockets fans you clown.
DeleteSo you are Lin fans supporting a team playing against Lins team.. Im confused? Are you trolling?
DeleteSean, STFU. You know exactly why you're here. Quit starting s.hit up.
DeleteIs Jeremy playing right now? If not, I can give two shits about "his team". GTFO of here, troll!!!
Deletei'm a lin fan...i'll root for his team when he is playing..or if his team actually respects him, then i'll root for them even if jlin is injured and not playing...i'm sure most of the rocket fans and coaches think, " see. we can win without lin. we don't need lin. he'll just disrupt what we have going." Lin is a bad fit with the role they want him to play..just trade him!
Deletebrooks with 9 FGA...
ReplyDeleteHARDEN WITH DAGGER!
ReplyDeleteIs this Sean Leighton idiot even a Jeremy Lin fan?
ReplyDeleteIm on his fansite? go figure. Why the thought?
DeleteNo, he's not. He's trolling. Rooting for the team, making sure to point out how well each HOU player is doing without Lin...even though no one's ripped on any player in the second half.
DeleteSo me complimenting Lins teammates makes me a troll? You need some sleep bro.
DeleteYou're trying too hard. I'm not your bro, son. No one said anything bad about any player.
Deletecome on, guys.
DeleteIf Lin is rooting for his teammates, I will too.
Anything for a little chance for Lin in Game 6.
Otherwise, we all have to wait for 5 months to see him play again!
No one's ripping on any player, Sean is purposely trolling this site.
DeleteThank you psalm234... guys in here are crazy
Deletewe're tired of disgusting trolls like you.
DeleteTo be honest.. I don't know how McHale can put Lin back in if the team wins again.. I mean in the context of this whole season, do I think McHale has enuff faith in Lin to give him that opportunity? My gut says no.
ReplyDeleteBut he won't hesitate to bring delfino back next game...
DeleteDude if Lin is 100%.. he will start.
Delete"..." Hilarious.
DeleteI'm not so sure...
DeleteEven if Lin is healthy, it's doubtful that he will start. McHale will go with Beverly, Harden, and Garcia over Lin.
DeleteWe may be seeing Beverley supplant Lin as Houston's starting point guard.
At the very worse Lin would start but would get diminished minutes. But also, Mchale likes to play Lin and Beverly simultaneously. But no, I don't think Bev would start over Lin.
DeleteSo much for the Thunder being better without Westbrook...
ReplyDeleteGood for us right
DeleteYeah Russ was never holding Durant back..
DeleteWe have won 3 quarters. Got to win the last one. Lets go please! I wanna see Lin play next game :(
ReplyDeleteLin for Game 6!!!
DeleteIf we can keep the lead at 10+, with 3min to go, we should finish the game with a W. Even with out iso's to close the game.
Delete*our
DeleteWill he even get to play Game 6?
DeleteI go for increasing the lead to 20. Eockets are doing dumb mistakes right now. The clock is our friend and they are rushing and making bad plays. :( common we need to win this one please dont let it slip!
DeleteBeverly!!!
ReplyDeleteBev.Lin are much more effective in this series than Lin...
DeleteHarden only turnover the ball twice. What a miracle!
ReplyDeleteHe has been great tonight.
DeleteWow OKC sucks tonight.Looks like we will get to see Lin in an other suit.
ReplyDeleteDont count victory so quick. Rockets are the worst are closing games.
DeleteI hope he heals up quick.. If not this round.. hopefully round 2
Deletei'm sure you do.
Deletelooks like Jeremy is out of houston~~~ Here we go LA and D'antoni
ReplyDeletecalm down...OKC is without Westbrook and Lin is injured, my hope is that Lin will play game 6...My gut says the Rox will beat OKC
DeleteLooking at this OKC team without WB, they have really been exposed in a way that they don't have other real scoring threats besides WB & Durant. However, I think they didn't game plan enough to get KMart more involved or KMart is not being aggressive enough. If they need another scoring threat OKC needs to try to get KMart going if the Thunder is going to seal the deal in this series. If they don't Houston might upset the Thunder.
ReplyDeleteI know KMart is having a bad game he hasn't made any shots. But if he can get going it's going to help OKC to a win tonight. Durant can't do this all by himself.
DeleteOKC is going to die with their 3 point shots.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about u guys. I like the fact that Rox are doing well. But the Rox winning the series without Lin would be the ultimate insult I wouldnt want to experience.
ReplyDeleteDo you see the coaches get mad at Bev or AB for making mistakes? NOPE!
DeleteLin is a starter.. no matter what.. Injuries happen to everyone. Lin would not feel insulted. Relax bro and enjoy the game.
DeleteI'm confident that McHale will still play a healthy Lin because he stuck by him in Game 1 and 2.
DeleteBev and AB still can't penetrate as well as Lin to draw fouls.
Or create consistently for Asik and Smith.
Also Parsons' 3PT shooting suffered w/o Lin.
No worries, Solidz. Gotta pray for Lin's health to be 100% soon!
says the guy that doesn't want Lin healed up this series.
DeleteSean.. Not so sure McHale shares your sentiments. Would McHale really disrupt this line up by putting Lin back in?
DeleteI think he will conspire with his trainers to keep Lin out to avoid any controversy.
You GOT to be kidding me!!! These dumb mistake are going to cost us the game!!!! Argh!!!
ReplyDeleteGarcia got his 4th That sucks
ReplyDeleteDerek Fisher the King of Flop !
DeleteHarden came to play
ReplyDeletefinally after 2 months he is actually shooting well..no bias
DeleteHarden with DAGGER! 7/7
ReplyDeleteHarden is killing it on offense tonight from 3pt land.
ReplyDeleteHate those Harden One on ones
ReplyDeleteAsik got hsi 4th
ReplyDeleteWhether we're ambivalent about Rox winning will make Lin look bad or not, we can thoroughly enjoy this game.
ReplyDeleteI mean, so much for OKC home-court advantage. It's very hard to come to someone's house and dominate.
Granted, OKC is choking big time w/o Westbrook but they went to the Finals last year!
Let's see who in OKC got some heart to perform!
LIN FTW = ROX FTW enough said. I dont know whwere all this nonsensical support for OKC is coming from.
DeleteI think KMart has to step it up.
DeleteAgreed. OKC is missing all open shots, and Rockets are making them.
DeleteI don't know why you are pretending to be a Lin fan. You don't even want him in this series.
DeleteObviously we're more Lin fans than Rockets fan. Get out of here troll.
DeleteThe difference tonight is the 3 point shots. You live by the 3 and die by the 3. Tonight they're living on the 3. Make no mistake, when Houston's 3 point shot game is not working you can see how bad their half court offense is.
ReplyDeleteSuck it
DeleteRox outscore OKC by 24 points on the 3
DeleteThanks for the stats Kwok Wai Lai
DeleteOKC is missing all their shots.
ReplyDeleteThey just have to go to the paint.
Who are you supporting?
DeleteNo, the real question is, who are YOU supporting?
DeleteFacts.
Deleteand the Rox is in foul trouble.
If harden is not hogging the ball, we should win easily.
He's trolling.
Deleteyep been trolling this whole time just ignore him.
DeleteWhy in the world can we play 3 great quarters and now we get stagnant? And make horrible decisions and mistakes!? Man if we can Rockets pull this one off is because the Thunder arent making the easy shots.
ReplyDeleteGotta respect harden this time,he is 7/7 from the 3 points line. The gamble is winning right now.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt!
Deleteof course Harden better come out and play after playing pitifully last game
DeleteWhat a shame, Jeremy helped get them to this point and he can't even share in the glory. Boo too
ReplyDeleteHe is sharing in the glory. He is the captain.. and his leadership is voiced on the bench while he recovers.
DeleteSean I can't tell if you are trolling or just an optimistic dude..
Deleteright, i'm sure you believe that...you sound exactly like all the other condescending Lin haters.
DeleteThat sean guy is wierd...
DeleteI mean, boo hoo
ReplyDeleteI knew this was going to happen! Can we run the clock and get an easy shot please!!!!???? McHale please!
ReplyDeleteInteresting turn of events on hack an Asik so early.
ReplyDeleteAsik is hitting his FT's. The problem is, Rockets are not playing any defense on the other end. Reggie Jackson is making Beverly his bitch.
DeleteDirty OKC
ReplyDeleteIm sorry Harden.... You got to be kidding me Harden you just GOT to be KIDDING!!? What were YOU THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHe just helped OKC by 3 hacks.
DeleteAsik...
ReplyDeleteGotta take Asik out
ReplyDeleteHow does HOU counter this hack-a-asik?????
ReplyDeleteTake asik out now,stupid McHale.
ReplyDeleteI could give a shit about rox wo jeremy...
ReplyDeleteHack a Asik.. Is this what they're resorting too?
ReplyDeleteAsik is no d13
5 min mark. Thunder need to go on a run right now and close the gap. They've always been good at coming back from last 5 mins. of the 4th. But without WB, I'm not sure who's going to share the scoring load with Durant.

Also the Harden ISO kills it for them too. They need to slow it down and take it inside for layups of short jumpers because missed 3 pointers will most likely result in fast breaks for the Thunder.
Atta boy asik
ReplyDeleteThey just need one stop every 2 possessions, and Asik can stay in.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a loser move okc
ReplyDeleteAsik should run toward Durant every offensive possession so Durant has to foul.
ReplyDeleteCome on Asik.. Now I want the Rox to win. ...
ReplyDeleteIf they stop it, Rox offense is cold. Damage done.
DeleteBoth teams are out if rhythm.
DeleteHack asik hahhaah!!!...
ReplyDeleteLoser tactics
I'm praying for Asik to make the rest of the FTs!
ReplyDeleteIn Jesus' name, that's 4 straight FTs!
DeleteJackson is heating up, who the hell is on him?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a dumb desperate strategy..
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Reggie Jackson has decided to step up. 6 point game now...
ReplyDeleteAsik should bring the ball up and shoot a 3 when he's fouled.
ReplyDeleteYea he must do that!..
DeleteBut know asik getting confidence on the free throw line!!..
Thats good okc will be destroyed!!..
Asik is my second favorite player after Lin. Don't fuck with ma man!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bad move to do a HACK an Asik. Definitely a gamble that's not paying off. If they didn't do that who knows it could be a tied game.
ReplyDelete@JADubin5: 7 points on 6 possessions of Hack-Asik so far is 1.17 PPP. Would have been the best offense in the league this year.
ReplyDeleteNice RT
DeleteOKC just shot themselves on the foot with this HACK an Asik move.
ReplyDeleteThat's a flop.. Good job Garcia..
ReplyDeleteGREAT work by the ROX tonight.. Loving this!!
ReplyDeleteThe game is still within reach. Rockets need to hold on and stay disciplined.
ReplyDeleteThunder needs to stop the Hack Asik tactic and just play solid defense & make a couple of baskets to make it a closer game.
OKC is catching up in fouls only!
ReplyDeleteScott Brooks is an idiot.
ReplyDeletebev should have passed the ball, too much dribbling.
ReplyDeleteOKC getting desperate and not operating within their offense. Forcing things...
ReplyDeleteThey freaked out and resorted to Hack-Asik.
DeleteIt backfired and they basically admitted they couldn't beat the Rockets playing their way!
They admitted they gave up already. Pathetic.
Not sure, psalm, they cooled off Harden and Bev panicked and threw up some bricks. Looks like it won't work, but they stopped Rox mojo.
DeleteI know they had to try it slow down the momentum.
DeleteBut when it doesn't work, it also messed up OKC's momentum.
Bad strategy.
Love Asik!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting. I'm not watching the game... but I have been checking the stats here, there. This is exciting!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a pretty good game. Interesting tactic by Brooks to foul Asik.
DeleteAsik is a decent FT shooter. Noway can they win w/o 3s
DeleteAgree.
DeleteWow, Asik.
ReplyDeletewow, okc wants to have a game 7. They are intentionally doing it....tsk tsk, no way rockets will win the series.
ReplyDeleteWith OKC ggiving up on themselves. Things are looking good for the Rox
Delete@BillSimmons: Scott Brooks is making a strong run at Vinny Del Negro's "Worst Coach Of Round One" with Hack Asik. Don't do that crap when you're a 1-seed.
ReplyDeleteAsik is the reason the Rox win this game.
ReplyDeleteAsik the MVP.
DeleteSecond
DeleteDamn I was hoping for an OKC vs. Miami championship rematch. But it doesn't look like OKC will get past the 2nd round or if they choke won't even get past the Rockets in the 1st round.
ReplyDelete@JADubin5: 1.17 PPP would actually be the best offense of all time: http://t.co/0G5VoaNLPf
ReplyDeleteNBA GAMES ARE RIGGED!!!!
ReplyDeleteJeremy believed in miracles.. This is all Jeremy's doing!!!
ReplyDeleteAsik is a 50% free throw shooter. I would have gone with Hack an Asik if he was around the 30-40% FT mark. But you're gambling with 50/50 chance of him making free throws.
ReplyDeleteLets close this one out common Rockets!
ReplyDeleteasik 20-10
ReplyDeleteDagger!!
ReplyDeleteGarcia!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Rox are about to do what no NBA team before them has done, come back from a 3 game deficit with FOUR IN A ROW BABY!!!
ReplyDeleteC'mon guys, don't you want to see Jeremy win his first ring this year?? Where is your FAITH??? This could be the start of a new DYNASTY...
GAME OVER!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a podium game for Asik. Huuuuuge...
ReplyDelete
