  1. Nobody cares when a player goes down but when a ref goes down everybody wants to help him up :)

  2. Lin with an assist to Asik who made a long FG.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Lin with the assist to G. Smith who got the AND 1 call.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Arrrgh, back to TO and dumb fouls by Harden and Asik.

    ReplyDelete
  5. What's up with the series of moving picks Suns set against JLin to free up Dragic and nothing being called? Are moving picks allowed when they are set away from the ball?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sure is allowed when the guy being picked is Lin

      Delete
  6. Asik needs to finish better instead of just throwing it up an hoping the ref will call the foul. It is obvious that the Refs swallow the whistle when it comes to officiating him just like how they swallow the whistle during Yao's time in the NBA. Finish strong and take it to the hole strong.

  7. Lin is very quiet this quarter

    ReplyDelete
  8. Rox are not making the shots they usually make...the team is not playing with any sense of urgency. They are not good enuff to take a night off.

    ReplyDelete
  9. We completely lost the spacing, Lin was dribbling in the crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Lin getting ragged guarding Dragic. They're giving Dragic a billion screens.

    ReplyDelete
  11. what should/could have been done by the Rox?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. ok, no screens set for Jeremy...

  12. I hate when Lin fakes out his man is running on the middle of the lane and then when he jumps up for no reason he kicks it back outside. He's done that at least 3 or 4 times this game, giving up some easy floaters or makeaable floaters. He's got to learn in those situations to commit to the shot, otherwise it's a lot of wasted effort.

    ReplyDelete
  13. This game shows how bad the Rox can look if they don't make their shots. No set plays. Everyone chucking up shots. Ugly.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Harden being 'the man' and accordingly given the sets and opportunities to score needs to step up in these situations. He needs to provide an answer like how Paul Pierce or AI would.

      Delete
  14. 19.2% 3pt...they really should stop shooting that.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Looks like another game where Beverly 'outplays Lin' and Clutchfans jump on the Patrick Beverly MVP bandwagon. I don't think we'll see Lin in the 4th quarter.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Houston announcers are drooling over Beverly and Harden.

      Delete
    2. Crazy how Lin do so much for little cred and some people just do so little for so much credits.

      Delete
  16. Fuck McHale. Put Lin back in the game.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not much time left. If they lose, they blame Lin...

      Delete
    2. No JLin sighting until 5.44 left

      Delete
  17. McHale putting Lin with 5 minutes left. Again, Lin has to save him... digusting.

    ReplyDelete
  18. And I thought it was gonna be a blow out..This team gets too darn complacent. Even Jeremy looks like he's half asleep..

    ReplyDelete
  19. Lin gonna come up big. I think sitting out this long he will forgot how bad his shooting is. Prob good substitution when he comes back in

    ReplyDelete
  20. Suns going on a run off of Harden's bad turnovers. Looks like Lin won't go back in until Rockets are down by 10 with 1 minute left in the game.

8 TO's by Harden ... come on James, we're trying to win the game here.

    ReplyDelete
  21. What kind of rotation is that? If McHale would put in Lin when the Rockets were leading by 6, the game might be out of reach now. He really needs to keep Beverley on the floor until he does something bad.

    ReplyDelete

    1. once the spark is over, the coach will turn to another. so fickle!

      Delete
  22. Putting Lin back in the game now, for this game, is totally legit. It was messed up in a few games back because the Rocket's didn't have much of a chance to actually win.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Honestly - are Rox trying to loose?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because close games are more exciting...if we win.

      Delete
    2. Pretty much. Bad rebounding. Only Omer Asik is getting any rebounds now. Harden ISO every possession now.

      Delete
    3. ? for me, its just depressing if we lose in a game like this!

      Delete
  24. Lin won't even attempt a layup, he keeps driving and kicking out for 3's. SMH. This looks like another bad loss to another crappy team.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Lin looks tentative and got bailed out with the "tipped" ball out of bounds.

I wonder if he's hiding an injury.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He's afraid to shoot, he's even passing up point blank layups to pass. WTF?

      Delete
  26. Harden is about to get a double double

    ReplyDelete
  27. Theres something wrong with Jeremy..Dont know what but theres something.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Lin tried too hard to get it to Harden.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But maybe got taken out for taking that last shot?

      Delete
  29. Lin left, we are going to lose.

    ReplyDelete
  30. What kind of bullshit is this?

    ReplyDelete
  31. McHale is an idiot. Scola is KILLING the rookie and he has no adjustments.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Too bad that everyone found out that except Rox owner :(

      Delete
    2. LOL. Scola is abusing the Rockets "Power Forwards", this is why a low post player is better than a stretch 4. McHale is rooting for Scola.

      Delete
  32. Anyone who thinks Beverly is a better defender than Lin is a true moron.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He shows more obvious hustle

      Delete
    2. The announces do. They just loudly announced it on the NBATV!

      Delete
  33. bev is 4-10 shooting... why is he in the game?

    ReplyDelete
  34. i think ISO plays loosing game....what happen to ball movement

    ReplyDelete
  35. Wow, seriously, he subs Lin and Bev fouls the guy right away? There goes that 1 point lead.

    ReplyDelete
  36. What the hell? McHale finding news ways to insult Lin.

Great job committing a foul and then committing another one to give Phoenix the lead.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Haha ! Only 1 min left ,why did he take Lin out? Omg!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Harden played like he is the only man that can make this team win...keeping the ball to himself, shooting whenever and however he wants, and forcing each shot...rockets deserve to lose this one

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But not after seeing jeremy almost cry.he wants this win, badly...

    ReplyDelete
  41. YEEEAAAH

    SUB HIM OUT NOW, MORON.

    ReplyDelete
  42. We just can't afford to lose now. No just no

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh man It's a close game.
    Lets's go to OT

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lin with the drive and got fouled by O'Neal. Lin made two clutch FTs to tie the game. McFail will put in Beverly to defend Dragic after the time out by Phoenix. The question is who is going to defend Scola?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Bet McHale subs Beverly for Lin on defense here.

    ReplyDelete
  46. 1 shot for each side!
    May the best man Lin

    ReplyDelete
  47. McHale then takes Lin out again. What a jackass

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. McFail will put Lin back in to run the offense with 14 seconds left. Rockets got lucky that Scola missed the shot. Smith got faked out by Scola.

  48. Haha McHale! I just don't fucking understand u.

    ReplyDelete

  52. Goal tending called on Phoenix. They are going to check the replay. What a turn of event. Knew that Harden was going to goto hero ball. Rockets win the game!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. WTF, 9.1 seconds to go in the game, and they go to a Harden ISO 3-pointer ???

    ReplyDelete
  54. Lol at McHale, pretending to be smart and subbing in and out Lin for D purpose. Lin is way better on D than Beverley and the Suns are going to the inside players, not the PG, you idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  55. O'Neal tips the ball off the rim after the brick bounce.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Huge free throws by Lin. National TV audience!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Hahaha lmao ! Haha ! That stupid j o Neal !

    ReplyDelete
  58. That shot had no chance of going in after the bounce. Haha, what a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  59. The hell with it, I'll take the W nonetheless. Next stop Memphis, ughhh

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But if Jazz loses tonight, Rockets are in the playoffs! and for the record LIN won this game cause of that 2-cold blooded free throws and IF Harden made that 1 Technical free throw we should have won this by 1 pt LOL

  64. LOL.

    WORST GAME-WINNING SHOT EVER.

Total luck with that idiot O'Neal touching the rim.

    ReplyDelete
  65. This "win" is more evidence that the referees LOVE James Harden.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Lin didn't play well today. He missed all of his FG attempts and often looked tentative driving and can't decide who to pass it to. Several times I saw him pick up his dribble. Houston was lucky to win tonight, but a win is a win no matter how lucky it is. Rockets didn't play with any energy tonight and was lucky to walk away with the win.

    ReplyDelete
  67. but ISO killin the rockets though......they need to rethink and have more movement

    ReplyDelete
  68. Real starting point guards don't get subbed out for defense. McHale wants to make sure we don't think Lin is a real starting point guard.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Haha. Awful game by Lin and Harden but they win!!!! Nice. Just win baby

    ReplyDelete
  70. Lin was clutch. He got the last 4 real pts hehe.

  72. I never get what they are talking about by the timeout before a final shot like that. Harden and Lin are discussing something intently as if they are about to run a whole complex play. What is Harden saying? Give me the ball and move over...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Right? I know they're talking about something but still...

      Delete
    2. I think harden was saying, I will take the shot if I get man. If they double me, then get ready.

      Delete
  73. I think McHale took Lin out because he thought Lin was tired going thru all those screens today. Plus bev had been playing well. I am not as pissed because they put him back for offense. I'll take this over Lin on the bench any day.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I would understand the switch if Jeremy had 4-5 fouls. Or even 3 fouls.

But he had only 1 foul! McHale got away with one there. I'm just glad he wasn't a COMPLETE moron -- at least he brought Jeremy back on offense.

      Delete
    2. Yeah at this point, I'll take that over being benched. That's how low my expectations have gotten this year..SMH

    1. cuz he's the man handling the ball most of the time.

      Delete
    2. That's why when assists of Harden > Lin, the rockets will loss.
This is another lesson for Harden; you're a SG.
      The best PG is Lin.

      Delete
  75. UGLY WIN.

Harden was actually 8-21 (silly goaltend) and Lin was actually 5-13 (halfcourt buzzer beater), but hey, a win's a win!!!

None of the Bev-Lin switching, McHale...you dodged a bullet with Idiot O'Neal handing you the game.

    ReplyDelete
  76. won by the skin of their teeth and with the help of the suns... but really a 3 pointer?

    ReplyDelete
  77. i wanted OT and watch lin take over! sigh

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No! This is good, a win is a win. Lin hit that late jumper and those 2 ft's, he's good. Dragic didn't do anything the last 5 min of the game.

      Delete
    2. Jeremy is clearly CLUTCH!

      Delete
  78. Scoreboard corrected. Rockets 101, Suns 98.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I have never seen anything like that before. McHale is a maroon.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Tis game should go OT.
    The Rox will win anyway.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. True. J-Lin wasn't going to let them lose.

Despite the poor shooting, he was CLUTCH.

      AGAIN.

      Delete
    2. do u really think so with all the ball stopping ISO plays

      Delete
    3. Exactly!! Rockets will lose OT bec of harden

      Delete
  81. Haha The nbatv crew was totally disinterested in this game...Was ridiculously obvious at times

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't blame them. It was dull and ugly and poorly paced. Lots of bricked shots by everyone on the Rockets.

But the Suns are so godawful with no leadership on or off the court, Rockets won anyway!

      Delete
    2. Yeah they were like these teams r turribble

      Delete
    3. The NBATV crew adds nothing anyway. Who cares. They are just like Drexler, just sit around and talk out of their ass.

      Delete
  82. I was surfing the net when Lin went to the free throw line (thought they were gonna lose with all the harden ball handling). How did that play come about? Did Lin drive to the basket? Was it an obvious foul?

    ReplyDelete
  83. The last play of the game showed that rockets only has 1 play at crunch time, go to harden and let him decide what he wants to do.after jeremy passed him the ball, no one else touched it and it looked like everyone in the team is expecting it and everyone just have to watch and see. This kind of play during crunch time against any playoff team will not succeed

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He gets "superstar" bailout calls that Jeremy won't get, so I don't mind that play when Harden isn't doubled.

When he's covered however, they MUST get it to Jeremy, who's actually the best clutch player on the team by far. And still the best young clutch player in the league. Stats back it up last year and this year.

      Delete
    2. i'm actually ok with iso by an offensive specialist for the last play of the game. in the case of harden...not sure if this applies. not sure if he can score at will like some players can. he does get fouls generously called tho, and it seems also some luck.

      Delete
    3. I have no problem with that particular play, because game was tied and Rockets had last possession.

Harden is a better shooter, better finisher around basket, and better free throw shooter than Lin.

What I like about that last huddle was when Harden was exhorting his teammates, Lin didn't say anything and just leaned in and listened like all of the other Rockets.

Reminds me of one of the earlier The Apprentice winners who was formerly in the military. Alot of the CEO / executive types evaluating the finalists all saw his talent, but in particular noted that in addition to being able to LEAD, he had the ability to BE LEAD, too.

I thought that was high point of game and made what could have otherwise been frustrating loss for Rockets.

      Delete
    4. correction: in addition to being able to LEAD, he has the ability to BE LED, too.

  85. JLIn with 13 points, 6 assists, 2 steals.
Dragic 15 points, 10 assists, 4 steals. When did this happen? I didn't notice he had such a good game.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Um, no. Lin did not shoot efficiently.

      Delete
    2. Dragic was THE PG for the Suns, got lots of screens set for him.

      Delete
    3. Sorry, I should clarify. I didn't notice Dragic had such a good game.

    5. Jeremy was fine. His teammates blew 4-5 layups/dunks as usual and he only handled the ball half the time today.

His jumper was definitely off, but that includes a meaningless half-court buzzer miss. 5-13 is hardly "ugly," guys. Irving and Lilliard shoot 4-16 all the time.

      Delete
    6. I thought everyone including Jeremy played way below expectations. Lin had a really off night shooting.

      Delete
  86. I don't see any reason to believe that Lin is way better than Beverly in certain defensive situations. Sorry, don't buy it. Lin is a much better player, but Beverly has shown time and again his defense is quite good. Please don't say I'm not a Lin fan because my opinion isn't the same as most here.

    ReplyDelete
  87. This game reminds me of last year's sixers game when Jeremy shot horribly but made all clutch free throws to win the game including all the technicals. Not as dramatic but he made some crucial shots. He also didn't let the benching bother him so much.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Lin's last 2 FTs were unnecessary bc the last goaltended basket was worth 3 pts. Hehe.

    ReplyDelete
  91. OKC leading by eight. 9:30 left.

    ReplyDelete
  92. By the way: I didn't watch the 2nd half. But I'm thrilled the Rocket's pulled it out. Win is a win... even the Miami Heat don't always win by a large margin.

    ReplyDelete
  93. This game shows McHale's ultimate disrespect for Lin by subbing him in and out for Bwvwrly with less than two mins left in the game!! Is he fucking kidding?!!! The chump announcers saying Beverly a better defender than Lin and for offense defense? Are they fucking nuts?!! Do you think Harfen would ever stand for such shit if that were happening to him instead of Lin. And despite McHale trying to break Lin's spirit down the stretch, Lin hits the critical short jumper in the lane and two clutch fee throws with seconds left to save McHale's ass. And after those clutch free throws McHale subs out Lin with Beverly for "defense" with 23 secs left!! Are you fucking kidding me?!!! Then He puts Lin back with 9 secs left just to stick it in his face by calling for an ISO play for harden because he's the "man" (despite playing like shit the whole game), and Harden promptly bricks the last shot which was "goaltended" (complete bs lucky call). I don't care what happens in the playoffs, Lin has to leave the rockets in the off season!! McHale will use any bogus excuse to take Lin out of a game despite Lin saving the game!!!
