Hopefully he will play, and play well

    1. Does he look like he's in pain? Is he making shots?

      Delete
    2. Sorry busy typing, didn't see clearly how his shootaround was

      Pls pray hard for him

      Delete
  2. Ok. This is a great effort by our favorite player JLin. Drains his first long-range shot and tries to play through. It's just not gonna work. Courageous effort. He has now started every game this season.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Lin looks like feeling too hurt on his chest. I think Linsanity mode only leads Rox to win but hope Lin takes care of himself first ..

    1. They need his inspirational effort. Wow. I am impressed Lin

      Delete
  5. Lol espn complimenting kd for hurting Lin.

    ReplyDelete

    1. How kd is playing a complete game including getting back at Rox by purposefully hurting Lin.

      Delete
  6. Bev needs to play smart. He is hurting this team.

    ReplyDelete
  7. wow so much trust from mchale for bev

    ReplyDelete
  8. Did Jackson score that 3 bc Lin was over helping?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Given how OKC shoots today, nothing is over helping :P

    2. k.smith, what are you getting at?

      Delete
  9. WTF was that jon barry?! They have no confidence in Lin?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yeah, Barry is lame. JLin carried ESPN for 2 weeks during Linsanity. Hubie is the only good announcer

      Delete
  10. c'mon boyz ... step by step, just like GSW. Get KD in foul trouble!

    ReplyDelete
  11. We need Garcia now.

    1. Dr. Stu ... go out and give Lin a spray coolant, please. Rub down that pain. He's playing great. Was was watching play-by-play and this blog over dinner, and now can see for myself he's doing ok except he can't finish. Announcers are being jerks, saying ball stops at him. They are real biased, that's fur sure.

      Delete
    2. Loving Garcia. Makes me think of jared jeffries for some random reason.

      Delete
    3. The ball stops at Lin? They really don't watch HOU games. That's Harden's job.

      Delete
    4. Can't agree with you more Joeteam. He is playing aggressive and doing what he can. Spray coolant would be a good idea! Barry is like that idiot Isola from NYC

      Delete
  12. That's it Garcia ... skip the 3s. Claw back with easy 2s.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Come on bev. U can't get that 5 th foul

    ReplyDelete
  14. For a scrub, role player that no one respects, ESPN sure shows a lot of Lin footage. I wonder why.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I hope harden gets it going!

    ReplyDelete
  16. During timeout, JLIN was also not quite involved, can feel his frustration

    ReplyDelete
  17. how was that a foul on garcia?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hold up that sign, HY!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Come on!

Win this game and J-Lin might be healthy for Monday or Wednesday!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Who was harden mouthing to before they went to commercial

    ReplyDelete
  21. Replies
    1. And...OKC missing a bunch of shots at the rim.

      Delete
  22. wow, 9 point game, nice job rox!

    ReplyDelete
  23. They gotta keep up the mental discipline. Team effort. Just like GSW yesterday. No kidding. Some smash momentum changes, and you're into crunch time where you can will a win.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ball movement guys really close

    ReplyDelete
  25. Selfish bev ... key possession.

    ReplyDelete
  26. They are getting away from the very thing that brought them back

    ReplyDelete
  27. Need Jlin in now to orchestrate the offense.. he can 'score' by his court vision and passing..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think he's done for the night.

      Delete
    2. Maybe, but Bev has what, 4 fouls? He can't back off. This game needs aggression. He might have to foul out to keep contesting OKC.

      Delete
  28. Garcia with a great quarter!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Replies
    1. or did he go back to the locker room?

      Delete
    2. He's on the bench with a huge ice pack wrapped around his chest/shoulder.

Probably done for the night unless Bev has foul trouble. Don't mind -- he just can't finish his drives tonight and he should rest up for Monday or Wednesday anyway.

      Delete
  30. if they win this game...rockets will gain so much confidence and might knock off the thunders without russel westbrook.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Totally. And imagine a HEALTHY J-LIN for the next series.

But okay...let's not get ahead of ourselves, lol.

      Delete
  31. garcia needs to start in game 4.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Like Garcia. He plays with a chip

      Delete
    2. Garcia is GREAT. He's hitting 3s and getting into Durant's face, throwing him off his game. Francisco is earning his next contract, IMO.

      Delete
    3. Garcia is amazing. He got at T from the bench and stood up for his teammate. I like this guys character. Plus he even let Lin dunk on him lol

      Delete
  32. If the rockets go on to win this game, do you think mcfail will bench Lin for the rest of this series even if he is able to play? seems like this game will give him the perfect excuse if they win.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lets worry about that later

      Delete
    2. Nah. The fact that he came out in the 2nd and the deficit didn't grow (shrunk a bucket I think) shows McHale's confidence in Lin.

      Delete
    3. Honestly, Jeremy didn't even play that badly all things considered -- just missed shots. He rimmed out a 3 and missed a layup (probably a foul as KD was in the circle). Only made one TO. Played some solid defense, including on KD.

Just needs his teammates to pull this out, so he'll be healthy for Game 3 or 4.

      Delete
  33. Harden can go Ido against fisher

    ReplyDelete
  34. Love it that Jones coming from D leagues yoyo gets to And1 now.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Parsons should be on the court covering KD over Delfino.

    ReplyDelete
  36. harden's taking a rest, we've gotta play killer defense.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Kd feels soo alone without Westbrook lol

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think OKC is better w/o WB, they just need time to adjust.

      Delete
  38. Delfino will go 3-12 but when he hits that one 3pt shot, all is forgiven.

    ReplyDelete
  39. That 3 was big from Delfino, guess he finally showed up.

But I think OKC still gunna win, they can't stop Durant at all, and they are stuck shooting at the perimeter.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. there's still a lot of time on the clock but damn, it'd be pretty awesome if HOU won this game.

      Delete
  40. As expected, KD running out of steam. OKC struggling on offence but fighting like hell on defence. Up to Rox to win this game. Ref BS also has lessened, giving Rox a chance.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Wow Asik 1-1, is he getting shut down? Sorry just jumped on.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They're not really going to him for offense.

      Delete
    2. Just a bad matchup with OKC's bigs.

      Delete
  42. Is Jeremy on the bench / will play in the 4th?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Replies
    1. BTW doesn't seem like Fisher is impressed by PB at all...Guess a true veteran sees through his game?

      Delete
  44. pull Lin in NOW or the game will get out of hand again... Without Lin they´ll lose by like 2-3 points i´m sure
    see its starts allready

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin is not coming back in today.

      Delete
    2. Nah, win or lose, Jeremy needs to rest. He's been out so long and it's more important he be ready for Game 3 or 4.

      Delete
  45. With the extreme minutes that KD has played, this is a particularly advantageous time for him to sustain an injury. And with the nasty temperament that KD has displayed this game including a vicious foul on a lamed Lin, we can only cheer 'Go Bev, do your stuff!'.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That's stupid, I don't want to see anyone hurt. If you can't win by playing straight don't play at all. Rox shouldn't sink to their level.

      Delete
    2. OKC are playing dangerously. Playing your star extreme minutes, even tho how good he is, risks injury ala Kobe. The momentum is with the Rockets.

      Delete
  46. OKC is allowing them to get hot.

    Could be anyone's game now.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Looks like the rockets don't need a pg after all. Lol

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They just have to avoid crazy shots ... just go at OKC, or take open shots. Stop on D. Great game by everyone.

      Delete
    2. McHale has already pretty much said this.

      Delete
  48. nice, keep it going boyz ... Sef with 5 fouls. Go at him!

    ReplyDelete
  49. If HOU wins, I want the fans to bum rush the court.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Replies
    1. At this point, whatever intimidates OKC is fine by me. Key is winning at this point, doesn't matter how, who, why.

      Delete
  51. lol OKC chokes HARD like last game. maybe rockets can capitalize this time...

    ReplyDelete
  52. this is it guys... Lin will be traded or his role will be reduced next year. CP is going to get his contract and you are going to have 2 divas in Houston next year.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Calm down, this is a close game, he's injured and did his best and did well. Nothing to do with trade. Still haven't won it yet.

      Delete
    2. Let him be traded then. And no, he will remain the starter on the Rockets. His contract ensures it. At the very worst, he will be a Ginobli-style 6th man...not so bad really.

      Delete
    3. no worries we follow Jlin to the next team..

      Delete
  53. Kid feels the pressure to carry the team

    ReplyDelete
  54. Great comeback. Lets finish this off this time. C'mon Rox.

    ReplyDelete
  55. LMAO KD has Harden's number...How does it feel like on the receiving end of the long reach under the arm foul Harden?!?

    ReplyDelete
  56. This is when we go into ISO overdrive...the guys have to keep moving and sharing the ball.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Del! Haven't loved him this much since sausage day!

    ReplyDelete
  58. It looks like bev and Lin get along nice to see.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. that's why I'm rooting for Bev .. he's good for our Jlin

      Delete
  59. OKC gave up an easy layup for a risky 3 - missed. Playing like a tired team.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Will McHale trust Lin to finish the game? Will Jeremy have the gather back the confidence in him?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nooop. He is not coming back in!

      Delete
    2. I don't even think he should come back in. This unit can and will get it done. McHale has the right people in at the end finally

      Delete
    3. Doubt it ... Del is hot, Harden can finish, Bev is there for his last foul, Parsons can hit, Garcia had a great 3rd. Lin isn't needed - they just need to bear down and win for him for once, and then there's the next game.

C'mon Rox ... do your part for our man!

      Delete
  61. I think ESPN has a camera that only follows Lin. Hes still getting face time despite barely having played. Now hes the emotional leader if they win!! Linning!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. he's the spiritual leader for the team..

      Delete
    2. Lol well they know there's 1212312312 lin fans watching.

I mean really how many fans does Houston really have without Lin?!? They don't even pack the arena most games.

      Delete
  62. c'mon guys, sooooo freaking close.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Rox had 2 good chances to take the lead - threw them away, didn't even get a shot in - unacceptable.

    ReplyDelete
  64. ok, this is where they need Lin now. Two awful turnovers

    ReplyDelete
  65. Imagine if we were bev fans. We'd be going nuts. At least McHale is consistent!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Why should we care about Beverley? He's just an one game wonder who is coming back down to earth this game.

      Delete
    2. I'm just pointing out that McHale is consistent.

      Delete
  66. Awesome! A game for the ages!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Garcia is earning his keep...HUGE 3 when Harden keeps choking.

They need to bench Harden now really.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah, but it was due to Harden's penetrative drive. He needs to do this - either kick it out or go for a genuine shot, not look for a floppy foul.

      Delete
  68. Jlin big brother on the team - yes Garciaaaaaa

    ReplyDelete
  69. i told you garcia is the mac daddy yo.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Man, just think, Garcia was playing in SAC just a couple months ago...

    ReplyDelete
  71. Every one wins if they win. Lin, Bev, Harden, McHale.

    Garcia is the MVP here

    ReplyDelete
  72. GARCIA = MVP

His DEFENSE and 3PT shooting has been INCREDIBLE.

    My Lord. FRANCISCO-SANITY.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Yeah, but it was due to Harden's penetrative drive. He needs to do this - either kick it out or go for a genuine shot, not look for a floppy foul.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Lol Harden yer making me laugh and cry at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  75. NOOOOOOO

Lucky ass 3 by KD. Four bounces????

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Jesus must really, really love KD.

      Delete
    2. And hate Lin(for the moment)

      Delete
    3. Jesus doesn't hate people, he does favor some over others though. I kid.

      Delete
  76. They really needed Lin on that one.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ugh, why did you foul him Garcia.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Same shit every close game. Harden Ido that leads to nothing. Damn u McHale!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Delfino and parsons demanding harden pass them the ball. Lol

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I couldn't see much freaking everything is a blur on espn :/ lol didn't see that.

      Delete
  80. See, sigh Harden is not clutch, this is why he shouldn't close. They need Lin but he is hurt. Game is over imo.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I mean how many free throws did he miss in this game. He is the reason rocket lost today imo

      Delete
  81. I'd be happy if Lin had a career like Derek Fisher's. No all star appearances, but a clutch veteran player that people want on their team.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If he stays with the Rox he is headed that way

      Delete
  82. If we lose, it's Harden's dumb TOs in crunch. If we tie, interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Whatever happens, OKC can't win title - over dependence on KD. Coaches just gotta focus on him.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Harden didn't have the balls to take that shot, and passes to make someone else take a contested shot. What a coward.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Jeremy looks really dejected. He probably feels like crap for not being able to contribute tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  86. this is a waste of time. i am quitting this frustrating iso harden mofo balling.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Man. Harden and Parsons lost it for them in the last few minutes. Awful awful turnovers. The Rox coulda had a 2-1 lead by now.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. those TO's by Parsons and harden were killer but expected...we always turn the ball over when it matters most.

      Delete
  88. Lucky ass shot by KD, but Harden faltered at the end. This is why he's not ready to be a star. Houston gave it away. So close, yet so far. Worst result for Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  89. This game definitely prove that Rox can't win without Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I bet twitter is overflowing with Lin haters by now...

    ReplyDelete
  91. I thought everyone played their hearts out. Can't really complain about Harden, Parsons, Delfino, Garcia, Bev, anyone. They tried, hard.

    ReplyDelete
