Ok. This is a great effort by our favorite player JLin. Drains his first long-range shot and tries to play through. It's just not gonna work. Courageous effort. He has now started every game this season.
Dr. Stu ... go out and give Lin a spray coolant, please. Rub down that pain. He's playing great. Was was watching play-by-play and this blog over dinner, and now can see for myself he's doing ok except he can't finish. Announcers are being jerks, saying ball stops at him. They are real biased, that's fur sure.
Can't agree with you more Joeteam. He is playing aggressive and doing what he can. Spray coolant would be a good idea! Barry is like that idiot Isola from NYC
They gotta keep up the mental discipline. Team effort. Just like GSW yesterday. No kidding. Some smash momentum changes, and you're into crunch time where you can will a win.
He's on the bench with a huge ice pack wrapped around his chest/shoulder.
Probably done for the night unless Bev has foul trouble. Don't mind -- he just can't finish his drives tonight and he should rest up for Monday or Wednesday anyway.
If the rockets go on to win this game, do you think mcfail will bench Lin for the rest of this series even if he is able to play? seems like this game will give him the perfect excuse if they win.
Honestly, Jeremy didn't even play that badly all things considered -- just missed shots. He rimmed out a 3 and missed a layup (probably a foul as KD was in the circle). Only made one TO. Played some solid defense, including on KD.
Just needs his teammates to pull this out, so he'll be healthy for Game 3 or 4.
As expected, KD running out of steam. OKC struggling on offence but fighting like hell on defence. Up to Rox to win this game. Ref BS also has lessened, giving Rox a chance.
With the extreme minutes that KD has played, this is a particularly advantageous time for him to sustain an injury. And with the nasty temperament that KD has displayed this game including a vicious foul on a lamed Lin, we can only cheer 'Go Bev, do your stuff!'.
this is it guys... Lin will be traded or his role will be reduced next year. CP is going to get his contract and you are going to have 2 divas in Houston next year.
Let him be traded then. And no, he will remain the starter on the Rockets. His contract ensures it. At the very worst, he will be a Ginobli-style 6th man...not so bad really.
Doubt it ... Del is hot, Harden can finish, Bev is there for his last foul, Parsons can hit, Garcia had a great 3rd. Lin isn't needed - they just need to bear down and win for him for once, and then there's the next game.
I think ESPN has a camera that only follows Lin. Hes still getting face time despite barely having played. Now hes the emotional leader if they win!! Linning!
Lucky ass shot by KD, but Harden faltered at the end. This is why he's not ready to be a star. Houston gave it away. So close, yet so far. Worst result for Lin.
Lin is shooting around before 2nd half
ReplyDeleteHopefully he will play, and play well
Does he look like he's in pain? Is he making shots?
DeletegO JL!!!!!
DeleteSorry busy typing, didn't see clearly how his shootaround was
DeletePls pray hard for him
Ok. This is a great effort by our favorite player JLin. Drains his first long-range shot and tries to play through. It's just not gonna work. Courageous effort. He has now started every game this season.
ReplyDeleteLin looks like feeling too hurt on his chest. I think Linsanity mode only leads Rox to win but hope Lin takes care of himself first ..
ReplyDeleteLin is in
ReplyDeleteThey need his inspirational effort. Wow. I am impressed Lin
DeleteLol espn complimenting kd for hurting Lin.
ReplyDeleteWhat these clown say
DeleteHow kd is playing a complete game including getting back at Rox by purposefully hurting Lin.
DeleteRespect for our man Jlin..
ReplyDeleteBev needs to play smart. He is hurting this team.
ReplyDeletehe got all ball.. bs call
Deleteagree
Deletewow so much trust from mchale for bev
ReplyDeleteHe has no choice today.
DeleteDid Jackson score that 3 bc Lin was over helping?
ReplyDeleteGiven how OKC shoots today, nothing is over helping :P
Deletek.smith, what are you getting at?
DeleteLin on Durant.
ReplyDeleteThat was actually worked somehow lol
DeleteWTF was that jon barry?! They have no confidence in Lin?
ReplyDeleteYeah, Barry is lame. JLin carried ESPN for 2 weeks during Linsanity. Hubie is the only good announcer
Deletec'mon boyz ... step by step, just like GSW. Get KD in foul trouble!
ReplyDeleteWe need Garcia now.
ReplyDeleteDr. Stu ... go out and give Lin a spray coolant, please. Rub down that pain. He's playing great. Was was watching play-by-play and this blog over dinner, and now can see for myself he's doing ok except he can't finish. Announcers are being jerks, saying ball stops at him. They are real biased, that's fur sure.
DeleteLoving Garcia. Makes me think of jared jeffries for some random reason.
DeleteThe ball stops at Lin? They really don't watch HOU games. That's Harden's job.
DeleteCan't agree with you more Joeteam. He is playing aggressive and doing what he can. Spray coolant would be a good idea! Barry is like that idiot Isola from NYC
DeleteThat's it Garcia ... skip the 3s. Claw back with easy 2s.
ReplyDeleteCome on bev. U can't get that 5 th foul
ReplyDeletemy man Bev..
DeleteI don get it, how can he foul like this....
DeleteHey! A ray of hope!
ReplyDeletelin done for the night.
ReplyDeleteFor a scrub, role player that no one respects, ESPN sure shows a lot of Lin footage. I wonder why.
ReplyDeleteYeah, B$PN?
DeleteI hope harden gets it going!
ReplyDeleteDuring timeout, JLIN was also not quite involved, can feel his frustration
ReplyDeletehow was that a foul on garcia?
ReplyDeletethis game is epic.
ReplyDeleteHold up that sign, HY!
ReplyDeleteCome on!
ReplyDeleteWin this game and J-Lin might be healthy for Monday or Wednesday!
Who was harden mouthing to before they went to commercial
ReplyDeleteIt is about defense!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd...OKC missing a bunch of shots at the rim.
Deletewow, 9 point game, nice job rox!
ReplyDeleteThey gotta keep up the mental discipline. Team effort. Just like GSW yesterday. No kidding. Some smash momentum changes, and you're into crunch time where you can will a win.
ReplyDeleteISO ball will kill us late in the game..
DeleteHarden no iso
ReplyDeletewhat kind of shots are these?
ReplyDeleteBall movement guys really close
ReplyDeleteSelfish bev ... key possession.
ReplyDeleteThey are getting away from the very thing that brought them back
ReplyDeleteKD and OKC choking.
ReplyDeleteYEAH Garcia!
ReplyDeleteNeed Jlin in now to orchestrate the offense.. he can 'score' by his court vision and passing..
ReplyDeleteI think he's done for the night.
DeleteYep what a shame..
DeleteMaybe, but Bev has what, 4 fouls? He can't back off. This game needs aggression. He might have to foul out to keep contesting OKC.
DeleteFucking iso
ReplyDeleteGarcia with a great quarter!
ReplyDeleteHe's doing great.
DeleteIs Lin on the court?
ReplyDeleteor did he go back to the locker room?
DeleteHe's on the bench
DeleteHe's on the bench with a huge ice pack wrapped around his chest/shoulder.
DeleteProbably done for the night unless Bev has foul trouble. Don't mind -- he just can't finish his drives tonight and he should rest up for Monday or Wednesday anyway.
I think it is a heat pack?
Deleteif they win this game...rockets will gain so much confidence and might knock off the thunders without russel westbrook.
ReplyDeleteTotally. And imagine a HEALTHY J-LIN for the next series.
DeleteBut okay...let's not get ahead of ourselves, lol.
garcia needs to start in game 4.
ReplyDeleteLike Garcia. He plays with a chip
DeleteGarcia is GREAT. He's hitting 3s and getting into Durant's face, throwing him off his game. Francisco is earning his next contract, IMO.
DeleteGarcia is amazing. He got at T from the bench and stood up for his teammate. I like this guys character. Plus he even let Lin dunk on him lol
DeleteIf the rockets go on to win this game, do you think mcfail will bench Lin for the rest of this series even if he is able to play? seems like this game will give him the perfect excuse if they win.
ReplyDeleteLets worry about that later
DeleteNah. The fact that he came out in the 2nd and the deficit didn't grow (shrunk a bucket I think) shows McHale's confidence in Lin.
DeleteLydia, good point.
DeleteHonestly, Jeremy didn't even play that badly all things considered -- just missed shots. He rimmed out a 3 and missed a layup (probably a foul as KD was in the circle). Only made one TO. Played some solid defense, including on KD.
DeleteJust needs his teammates to pull this out, so he'll be healthy for Game 3 or 4.
Harden can go Ido against fisher
ReplyDeleteholy shit!
ReplyDeleteLove it that Jones coming from D leagues yoyo gets to And1 now.
ReplyDeleteParsons should be on the court covering KD over Delfino.
ReplyDeleteoh, maybe that's why.
Deleteharden's taking a rest, we've gotta play killer defense.
ReplyDeleteKd feels soo alone without Westbrook lol
ReplyDeleteI think OKC is better w/o WB, they just need time to adjust.
DeleteDelfino will go 3-12 but when he hits that one 3pt shot, all is forgiven.
ReplyDeleteThat 3 was big from Delfino, guess he finally showed up.
ReplyDeleteBut I think OKC still gunna win, they can't stop Durant at all, and they are stuck shooting at the perimeter.
there's still a lot of time on the clock but damn, it'd be pretty awesome if HOU won this game.
DeleteAs expected, KD running out of steam. OKC struggling on offence but fighting like hell on defence. Up to Rox to win this game. Ref BS also has lessened, giving Rox a chance.
ReplyDeleteWow Asik 1-1, is he getting shut down? Sorry just jumped on.
ReplyDeleteThey're not really going to him for offense.
DeleteJust a bad matchup with OKC's bigs.
DeleteJust a few more stops.
ReplyDeleteIs Jeremy on the bench / will play in the 4th?
ReplyDeleteWTF guys. Kd is out
ReplyDeleteDid bev just foul out?
ReplyDeleteBTW doesn't seem like Fisher is impressed by PB at all...Guess a true veteran sees through his game?
Deleteno he's got 5.
DeleteBev dumb dumb
ReplyDeletepull Lin in NOW or the game will get out of hand again... Without Lin they´ll lose by like 2-3 points i´m sure
ReplyDeletesee its starts allready
Lin is not coming back in today.
DeleteNah, win or lose, Jeremy needs to rest. He's been out so long and it's more important he be ready for Game 3 or 4.
DeleteWith the extreme minutes that KD has played, this is a particularly advantageous time for him to sustain an injury. And with the nasty temperament that KD has displayed this game including a vicious foul on a lamed Lin, we can only cheer 'Go Bev, do your stuff!'.
ReplyDeleteThat's stupid, I don't want to see anyone hurt. If you can't win by playing straight don't play at all. Rox shouldn't sink to their level.
DeleteOKC are playing dangerously. Playing your star extreme minutes, even tho how good he is, risks injury ala Kobe. The momentum is with the Rockets.
DeleteKd looks nervous... Punk
ReplyDeletekeep moving the ball
ReplyDeleteOKC is allowing them to get hot.
ReplyDeleteCould be anyone's game now.
OKC is CHOKING, bad.
DeleteThis is incredible!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the rockets don't need a pg after all. Lol
ReplyDeleteThey just have to avoid crazy shots ... just go at OKC, or take open shots. Stop on D. Great game by everyone.
DeleteMcHale has already pretty much said this.
Deletenice, keep it going boyz ... Sef with 5 fouls. Go at him!
ReplyDeleteIf HOU wins, I want the fans to bum rush the court.
ReplyDeletewin and die by iso..
ReplyDeleteAt this point, whatever intimidates OKC is fine by me. Key is winning at this point, doesn't matter how, who, why.
Deletelol OKC chokes HARD like last game. maybe rockets can capitalize this time...
ReplyDeletethis is it guys... Lin will be traded or his role will be reduced next year. CP is going to get his contract and you are going to have 2 divas in Houston next year.
ReplyDeleteCalm down, this is a close game, he's injured and did his best and did well. Nothing to do with trade. Still haven't won it yet.
DeleteLet him be traded then. And no, he will remain the starter on the Rockets. His contract ensures it. At the very worst, he will be a Ginobli-style 6th man...not so bad really.
Deleteno worries we follow Jlin to the next team..
DeleteYup..ozrocks
DeleteWow, talk about assumptions.
Deletethis game...
ReplyDeleteKid feels the pressure to carry the team
ReplyDeleteDurant.
DeleteGreat comeback. Lets finish this off this time. C'mon Rox.
ReplyDeletetrade lin to dallas, thank you
ReplyDeleteoh wow big miss
ReplyDeleteHarden choke
ReplyDeleteLMAO KD has Harden's number...How does it feel like on the receiving end of the long reach under the arm foul Harden?!?
ReplyDeleteThis is when we go into ISO overdrive...the guys have to keep moving and sharing the ball.
ReplyDeleteWhat was that Lin headache?
ReplyDeleteDel! Haven't loved him this much since sausage day!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like bev and Lin get along nice to see.
ReplyDeletethat's why I'm rooting for Bev .. he's good for our Jlin
DeleteOKC gave up an easy layup for a risky 3 - missed. Playing like a tired team.
ReplyDeleteWill McHale trust Lin to finish the game? Will Jeremy have the gather back the confidence in him?
ReplyDeleteNooop. He is not coming back in!
DeleteI don't even think he should come back in. This unit can and will get it done. McHale has the right people in at the end finally
DeleteDoubt it ... Del is hot, Harden can finish, Bev is there for his last foul, Parsons can hit, Garcia had a great 3rd. Lin isn't needed - they just need to bear down and win for him for once, and then there's the next game.
DeleteC'mon Rox ... do your part for our man!
I think ESPN has a camera that only follows Lin. Hes still getting face time despite barely having played. Now hes the emotional leader if they win!! Linning!
ReplyDeletehe's the spiritual leader for the team..
DeleteLol well they know there's 1212312312 lin fans watching.
DeleteI mean really how many fans does Houston really have without Lin?!? They don't even pack the arena most games.
lol, ha!
DeletePut bev back in
ReplyDeleteWow bad TO...
ReplyDeleteNo Iso yet!!!
ReplyDeletec'mon guys, sooooo freaking close.
ReplyDeleteWow insane reverse...
ReplyDeleteRox had 2 good chances to take the lead - threw them away, didn't even get a shot in - unacceptable.
ReplyDeleteok, this is where they need Lin now. Two awful turnovers
ReplyDeleteImagine if we were bev fans. We'd be going nuts. At least McHale is consistent!
ReplyDeleteWhy should we care about Beverley? He's just an one game wonder who is coming back down to earth this game.
DeleteI'm just pointing out that McHale is consistent.
DeleteYes!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! A game for the ages!
ReplyDeleteGarcia is earning his keep...HUGE 3 when Harden keeps choking.
ReplyDeleteThey need to bench Harden now really.
Yeah, but it was due to Harden's penetrative drive. He needs to do this - either kick it out or go for a genuine shot, not look for a floppy foul.
DeleteJlin big brother on the team - yes Garciaaaaaa
ReplyDeleteCisco kid!
DeleteArgh, The
Deletei told you garcia is the mac daddy yo.
ReplyDeleteMan, just think, Garcia was playing in SAC just a couple months ago...
ReplyDeleteEvery one wins if they win. Lin, Bev, Harden, McHale.
ReplyDeleteGarcia is the MVP here
GarciaSanity!
ReplyDeleteGARCIA = MVP
ReplyDeleteHis DEFENSE and 3PT shooting has been INCREDIBLE.
My Lord. FRANCISCO-SANITY.
Harden harden harden...
ReplyDeleteYeah, but it was due to Harden's penetrative drive. He needs to do this - either kick it out or go for a genuine shot, not look for a floppy foul.
ReplyDeleteLol Harden yer making me laugh and cry at the same time.
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOO
ReplyDeleteLucky ass 3 by KD. Four bounces????
Jesus must really, really love KD.
DeleteAnd hate Lin(for the moment)
DeleteJesus doesn't hate people, he does favor some over others though. I kid.
DeleteThey really needed Lin on that one.
ReplyDeleteUgh, why did you foul him Garcia.
ReplyDeleteSame shit every close game. Harden Ido that leads to nothing. Damn u McHale!
ReplyDeletenothing new..
DeleteDelfino and parsons demanding harden pass them the ball. Lol
ReplyDeleteI couldn't see much freaking everything is a blur on espn :/ lol didn't see that.
DeleteSee, sigh Harden is not clutch, this is why he shouldn't close. They need Lin but he is hurt. Game is over imo.
ReplyDeleteI mean how many free throws did he miss in this game. He is the reason rocket lost today imo
DeleteI'd be happy if Lin had a career like Derek Fisher's. No all star appearances, but a clutch veteran player that people want on their team.
ReplyDeleteIf he stays with the Rox he is headed that way
DeleteIf we lose, it's Harden's dumb TOs in crunch. If we tie, interesting.
ReplyDeletefuking harden
ReplyDeleteWhatever happens, OKC can't win title - over dependence on KD. Coaches just gotta focus on him.
ReplyDeleteHarden didn't have the balls to take that shot, and passes to make someone else take a contested shot. What a coward.
ReplyDeleteJeremy looks really dejected. He probably feels like crap for not being able to contribute tonight.
ReplyDeletethis is a waste of time. i am quitting this frustrating iso harden mofo balling.
ReplyDeleteMan. Harden and Parsons lost it for them in the last few minutes. Awful awful turnovers. The Rox coulda had a 2-1 lead by now.
ReplyDeletethose TO's by Parsons and harden were killer but expected...we always turn the ball over when it matters most.
DeleteLucky ass shot by KD, but Harden faltered at the end. This is why he's not ready to be a star. Houston gave it away. So close, yet so far. Worst result for Lin.
ReplyDeleteThis game definitely prove that Rox can't win without Lin.
ReplyDeleteI bet twitter is overflowing with Lin haters by now...
ReplyDeleteI thought everyone played their hearts out. Can't really complain about Harden, Parsons, Delfino, Garcia, Bev, anyone. They tried, hard.
ReplyDelete
