I hope that this development will silence those who say without proof that lin is soft....whatever they mean by that...go jeremy, just give it your best, win or lose, painful or pain free, i'm with you all the way
I hope that lin's presence in the court no matter how long or short will be worth the time, money and energy u spent to watch this game...God heard your prayers...He doesn't want to disappoint you....enjoy and bring home great pictures and great memories
I gave up long time ago on this houston fan base...i don't expect anything from them at all ...not surprised if they dont fill up the arena though it looks full to me
He's clearly hurting... When he tried to help a teammate off the floor, he offered both hands then took away his right hand and gave a grimace...sorry for lin
KD kn a mission! He is going to a pew more than 50 in the game, Rockets don't have a fighting chance with this plan is shootings stilt contested 3s and fouling like crazy
Third PF on Bev - we are in no doubt who the refs think was to blame for WB's missing from the playoffs, which will cost NBA money for reduced ratings.
I like the last drive where he turned his shoulder. He did it to protect himself, but it had the effect of getting by his man more cleanly. Too bad he couldn't finish...think it was probably painful leading with that right arm.
This is one game i wished harden will pour in as many points he can if it will help the team win..however, most of his shots are missing...Nothing is working for rocket's advantage tonight....sigh
IDK if it's too early to concede or am i a pessimist more than a realist but i think that OKC will win this game...i hate to bring out a negative vibe here but i' m done for this game...i just hope lin doesnt get hurt more than he is now..just wanna say i'm proud of this kid and i'm proud to be his fan...
Really sorry, HY...but just think of how often a fan can see his fave player play live..not too often so u are still more blessed than many of us who wanted to see him...especially if u leave in east coast
It's both. And if there is pain it is even worse. I'm sure your job is much tougher than mine. Just go see ortho I guess Solidz75 if you ever have pain.
Game not over yet. If Harden 3-10 and Delfino 0-3 starting bucketing and also refs are slowing down their biased reff'ing (crowd booing decisions) Rox still in with a chance.
I'm proud of Jeremy for trying -- he hit an early jumper and he moved the ball without turning it over even once. He just isn't in any shape to attack and finish...and his teammates couldn't hit their 3s.
Not to mention the early ref-cheating to cool off the Rockets and completely change the rhythm of the game.
Yeah, even if he can't come back, it's obviously not a serious injury like the meniscus tear he dealt with last year. So he'll come back better and more determined than ever next season...whether it's with the Rockets or the Lakers, ha.
I mean, the second half of the year went pretty darn well. Until the last couple McFail losses, he was shooting something like 48% FG and 40% 3pt for the past two months! And he was making highlight reel drives and passes with more trust from Harden with fewer dumb TOs.
I really lost a lot of respect for KD this game and this season. Such a phony tough guy. Obviously an amazing scorer because of his freak anatomy (insane wingspan lets him move like a SF but shoot over anyone), but he's just a random punk underneath it all.
Duncan and Parker...that's how you play the game and carry yourself.
I'm kinda annoyed none of his teamates came to lin's defense. This guy puts his heart out there to play.. This happens and his teammates just watch. Just weak.
Wish we have a Dennis Rodman type of player on the team.. he would play "rough" on KD.. I don't think he can take the rough stuff.. looks like a prima dona to me.. get the "hit man" Bev on him.. we need to do something !
I like to see BEV rattle KD like a pest second half and stand up for Lin! Or friggin ESPN will glorify KD at the expense of JLiN and rockets all damn nite if KD continue to get refs help and score 50 +
DMayberry [fr The Oklahoman]: Kevin Durant charges Jeremy Lin as he crosses halfcourt planning to call timeout. Durant wraps his arm around him and then smiles.
Hold it up, Sista! You gotta represent cuz JLin is trying!
(It's not our fault or Lin's fault - this game just shows how important Lin is to any team, esp Rox. All the LOH's now live the difference. We just want to see him heal up and next season'l be nice.)
Sorry you had to watch this in person -- it'll just make it sweeter, though, when a healthy and properly used Jeremy Lin goes Playoff Linsanity in a year or two.
Just a bad break this season...and they still made the playoffs!
Jlin will play!!!!
ReplyDeleteHY!
ReplyDeleteHY!
ReplyDeleteHi HY!
DeleteGo Jeremy! Is it on ESPN? there is like 6 min left in the Pacers game.
ReplyDeleteYep
DeleteMatt Jackson: Jeremy Lin is shooting, but it looks like to me he has having trouble raising the shoulder.
ReplyDeleteLin is short on everything.
Deletehe doesn't haveto shoot to cause offense and d to have to adjust. hope so ...
DeleteArgh. Playing with unreliable shooting. It could be ugly.
DeleteI hope that this development will silence those who say without proof that lin is soft....whatever they mean by that...go jeremy, just give it your best, win or lose, painful or pain free, i'm with you all the way
ReplyDeleteLets go Jlin!!! Your effort will carry this team to a victory.
ReplyDeleteha, doesn't look like it . 39-19 okc after one period. smh
Deletei was wondering if wbrk's absence was going to make any dent. it just gives durant more touches as a more efficient shooter.
man, okc shooting % is out of this world tonight. how can the rox stop the momentum?..... hopefully they'll come out fighting at the 2nd.
HY
ReplyDeleteI hope that lin's presence in the court no matter how long or short will be worth the time, money and energy u spent to watch this game...God heard your prayers...He doesn't want to disappoint you....enjoy and bring home great pictures and great memories
Too busy watching, sorry
ReplyDeleteNo worries, we understand...how does jeremy look at pregame? Any sign he is hurting?
Deleteenjoy, HY! =)
DeleteLet's go Jeremy! Don't hurt yourself and glorify Lord with your play!
ReplyDeleteGoddammit all streams link to HAWK PACERS game! I don't want to watch that shit
ReplyDeleteI missed Jeremy's first bucket!!! ARRGHHH
DeleteLin!!!! with the contusion, omg!!!!
ReplyDeleteRef#17 = Joey Crawford?
ReplyDeleteHarden with two fouls. I'd like to see Garcia in there.
ReplyDeleteThunder still killing the Rockets on the glass.
Foul trouble for Harden already...? Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteCalling fouls on Rox like crazy not unexpected. What is up with this place. Sooooo many empty seats!
ReplyDeletebad weather
DeleteCome on... It's a playoff game... More like bad fan base
Deletethat too
DeleteI gave up long time ago on this houston fan base...i don't expect anything from them at all ...not surprised if they dont fill up the arena though it looks full to me
Deleteits on espn 2!
ReplyDeleteBev and Harden already with 2 fouls.
ReplyDeleteHouston defense suck
ReplyDeletewhy is harden still in with two fouls?
ReplyDeleteLin seems to still pass the ball out often, you guys should know better than I
ReplyDeleteI will watch more on his interaction with coaches and players
That will be an inside report...we'll await for your account
DeleteLin is playing passively so far. No driving to the basket.
ReplyDeleteCan't defend, can't shoot, ISOs, too many missing 3s and so predictable
ReplyDeleteHe may still be in pain, do u see some black padding on his right shoulder?
ReplyDeleteYup, u can see it
DeleteY don't u come down and sneak in to those seats in the crony. A lot of empty seats.
DeleteHe's clearly hurting... When he tried to help a teammate off the floor, he offered both hands then took away his right hand and gave a grimace...sorry for lin
DeleteRox poor start, no offense, no defense. Without RW, they can still beat us easily.
ReplyDeleteLin needs to stop leaving his man!
ReplyDeleteLin still leaving Fisher. WHY??
ReplyDeleteNearly all OKC's points coming from their forwards, their guards are just spectators.
DeleteWith this small line up .. We can't get def rb's!!
ReplyDeleteRockets just don't have the horses.
ReplyDeleteJL sits and has ice on shoulder (I guess you can see it on TV)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he has difficulty penetrating, correct?
It looks like he has difficulty taking it to the rim. He looking more to dis distribute than score.
Deleteand no one finish crap.
DeleteRefs cheated early to give OKC the momentum after Rockets' hot start.
ReplyDeleteNow they're making some makeup calls...but the damage is done.
Still a long way to go, though.
Joey Crawford
DeleteLin is still hurting. He is not gonna have a good game.U can see he can't be aggressive.
ReplyDeleteI guess that was only a 2 by Lin. Foot prob on line again.
ReplyDeleteKD kn a mission! He is going to a pew more than 50 in the game, Rockets don't have a fighting chance with this plan is shootings stilt contested 3s and fouling like crazy
ReplyDeleteLin looks very frustrated...he needs a hug
ReplyDeleteJust like I expected the refs calling fouls on bev...not surprised nba.
ReplyDeleteLins shoulder ice cold and now he is back in.
ReplyDeleteThird PF on Bev - we are in no doubt who the refs think was to blame for WB's missing from the playoffs, which will cost NBA money for reduced ratings.
ReplyDeleteParsons no defense.
ReplyDeleteRockets suck man! Its gonna be a blow out game.
ReplyDeleteUgly game
ReplyDeleteI like the last drive where he turned his shoulder. He did it to protect himself, but it had the effect of getting by his man more cleanly. Too bad he couldn't finish...think it was probably painful leading with that right arm.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great move and he finishes that layup 9/10 times when healthy.
DeleteNot that it matters -- this is getting ugly. Hot shooting by Durant and refs stole the Rockets' early momentum.
Harden isn't 'creating', but they are still going through him on consecutive possessions.
DeleteDurant almost out scoring the Rox by himself..
ReplyDeleteThis is just humiliating!
ReplyDeleteIt's a blow out. Durant is just on another level and now he doesn't have to share the ball with Westbrook.
ReplyDeleteyeah. thats what I was thinking. he never really asks for the ball but he is such a great scorer. Hes 2x Melo
DeleteThis is one game i wished harden will pour in as many points he can if it will help the team win..however, most of his shots are missing...Nothing is working for rocket's advantage tonight....sigh
ReplyDeleteLin is not prepare for the last shot. Wonder why harden not finish it by himself
ReplyDeleteThey're selling Beverly jerseys. Wow.
ReplyDeleteI said the rox will get blown out by 40 points easy, game over.
ReplyDeletewith or without Westbrook .. Rox is outclassed.. playing for pride now.
ReplyDeleteKinda expected KD will go all out this game. No more co-captain. He's steering the ship now. And he has OKC looking like king of the sea.
ReplyDeleteFoul trouble. Second unit have chance and let Lin lead them and winning the game by giving out the assists
ReplyDeleteThey are getting embarassed
ReplyDeleteThis is so ugly, now they are worst than bob cat.
ReplyDeleteWhen Durant goes into the Hall of Fame, this is one of the games that people will bring up to prove his dominance.
ReplyDeleteF**k u Jon Barry for saying " Lin hurting the team right now if u can't play"
ReplyDeleteI know. That guy always criticizes JLin. Jon Barry sucked when he played.
DeleteBarry is one of the biggest Lin trolls
Deletewe might many starters foul out by the third quarter with the ways the fouls are being called.
ReplyDeleteaahhh... that's why I was thinking these ESPN guys really love OKC.
DeleteDid someone just go at Lin when he called that time out?
ReplyDeleteIt was KD.
DeleteKd
Deletewow, with knowledge that JLin is injured, now that counts as a cheap shot
Deletea.sshole.
Deletesmiles
DeleteDurant is now a permanent member of my shit list.
Deleteare they getting back on him bcoz of bev/ wes issue? oh please.......okc
DeleteOKC has no class. A bunch of wankers.
DeleteWOW Durant? REALLY!?
ReplyDeleteDurant went deliberately into Lin's right arm when Lin was calling a timeout. What an asshole.
ReplyDeleteIDK if it's too early to concede or am i a pessimist more than a realist but i think that OKC will win this game...i hate to bring out a negative vibe here but i' m done for this game...i just hope lin doesnt get hurt more than he is now..just wanna say i'm proud of this kid and i'm proud to be his fan...
ReplyDeleteour guy tried but he is hurting...fans who remained loyal to jlin deserve a shoutout!!!!
DeleteHe is hurting, just don't play man! This series is over.
ReplyDeleteokc will sweep it looks like
ReplyDeleteWorried. painful to watch
ReplyDelete'Hey let me screw with your injury area while you are standing there immobile and calling timeout.' Durant is a straight up jackass.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't just one swipe either. After the whistle, KD still tried to wrench the ball loose.
DeleteLin was holding the ball with both hands, Durant wasn't trying to steal the ball.
DeleteHe's a fake nice guy. Now, I know, and I won't forget it.
DeletePainful to watch indeed, not just Rox's score, but also Lin's shoulder pain
ReplyDeleteReally sorry, HY...but just think of how often a fan can see his fave player play live..not too often so u are still more blessed than many of us who wanted to see him...especially if u leave in east coast
DeleteI was in MSG on 12/17, it was a joy to see him not only enjoy playing, but also play well.
DeleteToday, I only see his pain, and KD seemed intentionally bumped into his shoulder.
Painful to watch..........
What was i thinking last night??? I meant live not leave...i know HY left from east to visit the west...haha
DeleteWhy is he even playing?
ReplyDeleteC'mon Brooksy.. someone needs to step up..
ReplyDeleteMIP, lets get us back in the game.
DeleteAlright, c'mon HOU, let's win this game.
ReplyDeleteI see Lin's father, don't see his mom
ReplyDeleteI hope KD get injuries for that obvious foul on Lin, and it was not even called
ReplyDeletelol relax man.. lin should not be on the floor on the first place he hardly touched him
DeleteI would love to barely touch your ugly mug, Dannio
Delete"he hardly touched him"
Delete[smacked JLin's right forearm.]
Then get a pair of glasses or just open your eyes, "barely touched him" smh
DeleteSolidZ, lol
DeleteHe clearly retaliated by deliberately and unnecessarily hacking on the Asian guy of course. What are you relaxing about?
DeleteBall will start going in.
ReplyDeleteProud of Jeremy playing through pain. Lost all respect for KD.
ReplyDeleteLin is prob done I'm guessing. Great effort and attempt but needs prob more than a week to get better.
ReplyDeleteYou called it all along but the morons kept insisting that Lin play.
DeleteStu I thought it was more of a strength issue not pain. Musculoskeletal medicine, lol.
DeleteIt's both. And if there is pain it is even worse. I'm sure your job is much tougher than mine. Just go see ortho I guess Solidz75 if you ever have pain.
DeleteTrust me. If you are in the know, you would never go to a sports medicine "expert". IMO they are glorified pa's for orthopedists. Sorry
DeleteEarly fouls killed the momentum.
ReplyDeleteGo Garcia!
ReplyDeleteParsons open all day.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised by KD. Anyhow just glad JLin tried. He is clearly in pain.
ReplyDeleteHe is just sticking up for Westbrook. But it came out really awkward. He is a fake tough guy a la bosh.
DeleteSticking up or not, still a cheap shot.
DeleteThis is boring.
ReplyDeleteAB just did the Felton.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the Felton
DeleteAsik also sits with ice around the waist
ReplyDeleteGame is unwatchable. Harden being Harden.
ReplyDeleteGame not over yet. If Harden 3-10 and Delfino 0-3 starting bucketing and also refs are slowing down their biased reff'ing (crowd booing decisions) Rox still in with a chance.
ReplyDeleteAlso Durant might get arthritis from his shooting/dunking arm
DeleteTell Bev to run into him ..
DeleteI'm proud of Jeremy for trying -- he hit an early jumper and he moved the ball without turning it over even once. He just isn't in any shape to attack and finish...and his teammates couldn't hit their 3s.
ReplyDeleteNot to mention the early ref-cheating to cool off the Rockets and completely change the rhythm of the game.
I agree. He tried. That is what matters. U can't never fault a player for giving it all.
DeleteHe did his best under the circumstances.
DeleteYeah, even if he can't come back, it's obviously not a serious injury like the meniscus tear he dealt with last year. So he'll come back better and more determined than ever next season...whether it's with the Rockets or the Lakers, ha.
DeleteI mean, the second half of the year went pretty darn well. Until the last couple McFail losses, he was shooting something like 48% FG and 40% 3pt for the past two months! And he was making highlight reel drives and passes with more trust from Harden with fewer dumb TOs.
He just couldn't play thru the pain. I think he will be out on Monday.
DeleteStill no games missed this whole season! Khuang got his wish
Deletelol khuang called it. fake tough guy durant gunned for lin instead of beverley.
ReplyDeleteI really lost a lot of respect for KD this game and this season. Such a phony tough guy.
DeleteObviously an amazing scorer because of his freak anatomy (insane wingspan lets him move like a SF but shoot over anyone), but he's just a random punk underneath it all.
Duncan and Parker...that's how you play the game and carry yourself.
I'm kinda annoyed none of his teamates came to lin's defense. This guy puts his heart out there to play.. This happens and his teammates just watch. Just weak.
Deletesame shit happened in new york.
Deletewon't stick up for an asian, get used to it.
Only Garcia seems to be willing to get in KD's face. Definitely keep him, Morey.
DeleteAnother cheapass rip-through foul by Durant. I'm so sick of seeing that shit every time he's on the floor.
ReplyDeleteLMAO, loved TJones reaction to that foul on Garcia.
ReplyDeleteWhere is our superstar harden?
ReplyDeleteDone with this game. Hope they at least make it respectable.
ReplyDeleteWish we have a Dennis Rodman type of player on the team.. he would play "rough" on KD.. I don't think he can take the rough stuff.. looks like a prima dona to me.. get the "hit man" Bev on him.. we need to do something !
ReplyDeleteSo true. I wish we had a Metta World Peace or Matt Barnes on the team.
DeleteOr even Bill Walker, remember him? He loved to get in people's faces (and he could he 3s decently too).
love the Piston team from the 80's.. they played rough but fair.. they make you earn the basket..
DeleteI like to see BEV rattle KD like a pest second half and stand up for Lin! Or friggin ESPN will glorify KD at the expense of JLiN and rockets all damn nite if KD continue to get refs help and score 50 +
ReplyDeleteThis 2-3 zone sucks
ReplyDeleteDurant tries to steal the ball from JLin as he calls timeout [smacks JLin's right forearm]
ReplyDeleteDMayberry [fr The Oklahoman]: Kevin Durant charges Jeremy Lin as he crosses halfcourt planning to call timeout. Durant wraps his arm around him and then smiles.
are you serious? he put his hand on the ball as the ref whistled. nothings happened because OKC knows they have this game and series wrapped up.
DeleteI don't know what else to tell you, u all saw the first half.
ReplyDeleteIt's not pleasant to sit here watching.
I made the poster "Hi from jeremylin.net", but too frustrated to hold it up
Hold it up, Sista! You gotta represent cuz JLin is trying!
Delete(It's not our fault or Lin's fault - this game just shows how important Lin is to any team, esp Rox. All the LOH's now live the difference. We just want to see him heal up and next season'l be nice.)

Sorry you had to see that KD/ JLin BS, HY...
Delete[Yeah, hold up the sign anyways.]
NEW THREAD, GUYS
