Back from vacation and was disappointed McFail aka McBail was up to his old ways by benching Lin in the 4th quarter and inserting Beverly. No Parsons and Harden tonight and also no Jameer Nelson. Lin is going against Udoh. Hopefully Lin will step up and bring Houston a victory.
Was very disappointed by Lin's subpar performances in the Memphis game and Indiana game, but you cannot blame him since he was afraid to make mistakes due to McBail's failed hero ball riding. McBail should be fired if he is the cause of Harden's injury after riding him for so many minutes even when he is injured. I agree with alot of posters on here that nowhere in the League has the coach treat his starting PG like how McFail treat Lin. It is damn frustrating watching the Rockets.
Lin with another assist on a lob pass to Asik. Houston is taking advantage of Orlando size by posting Greg Smith and Asik early. Ball is moving fast. Houston is up by 13 points.
Imagine you're a young NBA player on the Magic. Are you gonna play like CRAP on purpose to ruin your career and make your organization get a slightly better pick?
Tanking methods other than sitting out "injured" stars don't exist.
May I say. Defense is the difference for tonight. WOW, what a start. I guess we finally have some players who want to hustle on defense in the starting lineup. I like Harden and Parsons but sometimes they make me scratch my head.
No Harden, No Parsons, and the Magic nearly beat Houston last time.
The only opponent Lin-Ball will struggle with is the Heat, IMO. Excellent PnR defense, refs cheating Lin in favor of stars, and defensive role-players to expend all their energy on him (while the Big 3 do all the scoring).
McHale is thinking, "So is this the feeling of 32-14 happiness that people talked about Linsanity when Lin has the ball? But Lin only got 2 points, 4 assists!"
Normally, I agree but the Magic are 100% playing him to shoot today (unlike most teams who know Jeremy is unselfish and looking to set up teammates early). Smith and Asik are constantly open in the low-block and Jeremy is feeding them down low like a BOSS.
I don't think it is because of Beverly. I think it is because of D-Mo. He made a couple of lapses on defense and missed a couple of shots. Defensive intensity isn't like 1st quarter.
Just tuned in. Are the scores for real? It's eithet rockets are too good ( thanks to jeremy..lol) or pistons are too bad of a team..whichever it is, it makes it easier for me to decide that i'll skip this game and save my late nights for upcoming mstch ups...i hope that rockets will get this win and not wake up with a shocking result...
If the the rockets led by 18 after Q1, it seems like rockets is playing against a very poor team and to me, watching this game will be very boring. That is just my opinion. I'll save my time for the next few games cuz i rather miss this than other exciting games in the future...Anf if this is a blowout, jeremy will be siiting out for the most part and that's just the most reasonable thing to do
I feel you..but my body really needs rest more than anything...as much as i hate missing rockets games, i have to take care of my health too.i'll be with you in spirit and i hope you get to enjoy much of lin tonight...but the rate things are going, it will be a blowout , if it still too early to call it a blowout
It takes so long to find out. Once the Magic gets the rhythm, the rockets will have a tough game. It's no joke. Any NBA team can get hot and play like magic.
I know, right? "Lin was solid, but Asik and Smith were the MVPs..." Yeah, then how come they've never ever looked close to this good before? Not even against the Bobcats or against 3rd stringers?
DMo is definitely out of sync. Starting him has been a bad decision. He needs time to work on his defense and teamwork. We'll see Terence Jones pretty soon. It's a blow out.
I think I've said this before, but Sampson seems to be coming around on Lin. McHale remains unmoved, but Sampson's demeanor and comments towards Jeremy have steadily improved over the season.
That's what they tell you when you train to be an official referee. When an opponent has an advantage you try to give the other team a fair chance of winning the game. Which NBA officials translates to, TRY TO GET Rockets into foul trouble and kill their rhythm by calling bogus fouls and travel violations.
Anyone just heard Sampson at halftime? Not a mention of jlin about first half. It's Anderson, Garcia, and smith. I hope he accidentally left out jlin cuz he is the leader out there threading the needles to get his teammates shots so that there is this great energy from his teammates who wanna run hard, who wanna play D. Does this sound familia? Remember Jared jefferies, landry fields, shumpert and how they all played much better after jlin got control of he ball.
Dude don't mind Sampson. The Orlando announcers are going gaga over Lin. Everything is about Lin. How stopping him is the key to coming back in the game.
The surprise players from Morey has been Anderson, Garcia, Asik, Lin and Harden. Hopefully T-Rob can get up to speed to contribute in the playoffs for the Rockets. D-Mo still has ways to go. He looks clumsy at times around the basket. He is resorting to shooting three instead of taking it to the hole.
So many good players have been wasted by overplaying the star players, Harden and Parson. Tomorrow Lin, Parson, Harden would be out because of McFail poisoning. McHell is killing our players!!!!
They didn't want to have to overpay for the role players that would have benefited from a Jlin offensive system LOL...
Just like the Landry Fields, Steve Novaks...due to Linsanity, their value went up...they don't want the same thing to happen to their role players in Houston...LOL
I think it would have been amazing to see Jlin play without Harden. However, at the same time...who knows hwo his healing knee would have reacted to 81 games 40mins per game, all Jlin PNR offensive system. He would likely be injured just like Harden & Parsons...
Just like Kyrie Irving, Goran Dragic, & Rajon Rondo roles. The PG role is the most physically & mentally demanding position in Basketball.
You have to guard the other PG of the floor who is probably the fastest player on the other team.
He has to be the floor general, initiate the offense, setup teammates, etc. etc.
So I'm kind of glad he got some rest this season to help his knee get to 100%
McHale and Sampson would be so mad. Finally all Hell broke loose. We see the truth. The true Linsanity emerges out of the cloud. They need time to find words to say. "I hate Jeremy", McHell and Sinpson
Warrell said that it was difficult for Orlando to score against the starting 5 and most of the scoring was against the bench. Very observant Mr. Worrell. Tell that to McFail.

Delete@John Ly, you mean in the Clippers game?
DeleteMcHale rested Lin with 3 min left in 4Q after Clipper gave up by pulling CP3 first.
No I mean in the Memphis, Indiana and Spurs game.
DeleteLin with a quick assist to G. Smith for a slam.
ReplyDeleteWatch how beautiful a team game is. 6 passes to 4 different players before Asik layup made it 8-2!
ReplyDeleteAwesome start!
DeleteLin with a good PnR move to score his first shot.
ReplyDeleteAnnouncer: "Only 2 starters played all 73 games for HOU: Asik and Jeremy Lin"
ReplyDeleteGreg Smith so far has been a monster inside for the Rockets.
ReplyDeleteWhat Da Hell!?
ReplyDeleteNo Parsons no Harden
The game is so easy we're just coasting
Is this McHale's April fool joke?
I think Orlando is tanking.
Deletebut we're young, inexperienced, and underpaid too, should not be this easy lol
DeleteLin with another assist on a lob pass to Asik. Houston is taking advantage of Orlando size by posting Greg Smith and Asik early. Ball is moving fast. Houston is up by 13 points.
ReplyDeleteLin KILLING the Orlando Magic.
ReplyDeleteSetting up guys for easy scores inside and outside.
Playing solid unspectacular team defense to make sure that Houston's defense can rotate to the rim.
If Lin doesn't score a lot in this game, that's just fine with me!
Feed Da Bigs! Jeremy's game
ReplyDeleteThere should be a sign right in front of the Rockets bench like at the zoo. Feed Da Bigs!
Delete21-6 coaching clinic in just 6 min by Houston to Magic.
ReplyDeleteAll 4 starters scored except Anderson.
Strong D by Asik and crisp ball movement led by Lin found Smith and Asik for easy layups with 8 pts each!
Linsanity ball!
Lin with his first TO by over lobbing past Asik's reach.
ReplyDeleteFirst BS foul call by Ref on Lin for Udrih.
ReplyDeleteI count two alley oop attempts so far :)
ReplyDeleteWow is Orlando like the worst team ever?
ReplyDeleteThe worst team ever...who almost beat the Harden & Parsons led Rockets last time out.
DeleteI really think they are trying to tank for better lottery pick. I mean are Rox this good?
DeleteTrust me, they're not tanking.
DeleteImagine you're a young NBA player on the Magic. Are you gonna play like CRAP on purpose to ruin your career and make your organization get a slightly better pick?
Tanking methods other than sitting out "injured" stars don't exist.
Lin with four assists so far. I believe three of them went to Greg Smith. Good chemistry between those two.
ReplyDeleteI count at least 3-6 passes per possession for Houston!
ReplyDeleteWhat a team ball!
at 3:12 left in the 1st quarter Rockets lead 27 to 9 which is like 3 times more than Orlando
ReplyDeleteI love Francisco's Garcia's patience and composure.
ReplyDeleteHe is the 2nd ballhandler that Lin needs out there.
Lin just KILLING Orlando. They're locked in on him, and Lin's makin' em pay!
I could watch this all day.. Just imagine if we didn't have a ball dominated shooting guard..
ReplyDelete: )
DeleteMay I say. Defense is the difference for tonight. WOW, what a start. I guess we finally have some players who want to hustle on defense in the starting lineup. I like Harden and Parsons but sometimes they make me scratch my head.
ReplyDeleteLin in there with D-Mo, Delfino, T-Rob and Garcia.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the deal with the Chinese music?
ReplyDeleteSame reason Chinese ads are all over the court? :)
DeleteLove how they just milk Chinese fan for money...
DeleteI don't mind giving a few bucks for Linsanity.
DeleteJust don't bench our man the way it did.
It's not healthy basketball.
Someone's gotta pay Lin's salary, and it ain't ticket sales from Houston fans...
DeleteGood luck to the team! JL is not unfamiliar with this kind of situation, he will bring it!
ReplyDeleteBev time..
ReplyDeleteBeverly in for LIn with 1:07 left in the 1st quarter.
ReplyDeleteLOL :) Lin played so well directing the offense that McHale wants to see what happens when the 2nd team plays with Lin :)
DeleteWatch how Udrih managed to get by Bev for an easy pass leading to HOU foul.
ReplyDeleteLin has shut down Udrih in Q1.
LIN-CENTRIC TEAM BALL destroying the Magic.
ReplyDeleteNo Harden, No Parsons, and the Magic nearly beat Houston last time.
The only opponent Lin-Ball will struggle with is the Heat, IMO. Excellent PnR defense, refs cheating Lin in favor of stars, and defensive role-players to expend all their energy on him (while the Big 3 do all the scoring).
I think McHale doesn't like to see Lin score.
ReplyDeleteLook at all the empty seats for a team in the playoff hunt. The Houston crowd is absolutely pathetic
ReplyDeleteMcHale is thinking, "So is this the feeling of 32-14 happiness that people talked about Linsanity when Lin has the ball? But Lin only got 2 points, 4 assists!"
ReplyDeleteLin shouldn't even be hesitating to shoot the ball. No Harden or Parson this is his game to shine!
ReplyDeleteNormally, I agree but the Magic are 100% playing him to shoot today (unlike most teams who know Jeremy is unselfish and looking to set up teammates early). Smith and Asik are constantly open in the low-block and Jeremy is feeding them down low like a BOSS.
DeleteHe'll have to score when he comes back in through. The Magic will probably adjust in the 2nd quarter or 2nd half.
DeleteNo need to look for his own shot when his bigs are scoring.
DeleteWow this team looks so bad without lin
ReplyDeletePound that ball inside.
ReplyDeleteLin doesn't need to score much this game.
DMo blew Bev's assist!! lol
ReplyDeleteCome on, DMo!
we have a little breach and the ship starts sinking
ReplyDeleteOkay McHale get Lin in. Blow this game out. Rest him in te third.
ReplyDelete18 pt lead down to 11 pt lead
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is because of Beverly. I think it is because of D-Mo. He made a couple of lapses on defense and missed a couple of shots. Defensive intensity isn't like 1st quarter.
DeleteLet's not wait too long McHALE. Seriously...
ReplyDeleteAny random Magic guy can get hot if we kept playing like this.
ReplyDeleteJust tuned in.
ReplyDeleteWhat game r u watching?
DeleteYou're gonna skip the first time all season Lin gets to play his game?
DeleteSolidz
DeleteLOLOL.... Oops, mistake...magic rather.IDK why i wrote pistons...

DeleteIf the the rockets led by 18 after Q1, it seems like rockets is playing against a very poor team and to me, watching this game will be very boring. That is just my opinion. Poor team yes, but I guess I'm just so desperate to see Lin play Lin ball. It's not going to happen once Harden and Parsons are back.
DeleteDave
DeleteI feel you..but my body really needs rest more than anything...as much as i hate missing rockets games, i have to take care of my health too.i'll be with you in spirit and i hope you get to enjoy much of lin tonight...but the rate things are going, it will be a blowout , if it still too early to call it a blowout
Take care of your health jlin74ever!!! Hope you get good rest!
DeleteSuddenly you let the other team gets hot.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy.
Anderson is exceptionally good with handling the ball. Twice I saw him do a spin move to prevent the defender from stealing the ball from him.
ReplyDeleteThe team has been outscored.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the point of benching Lin?
I'm so glad people can see how bad the offensive flow when Lin is out.
ReplyDelete17-10 run to cut the 18pts lead (29-11) to 11 (39-28)
It takes so long to find out.
DeleteOnce the Magic gets the rhythm, the rockets will have a tough game.
It's no joke. Any NBA team can get hot and play like magic.
Anderson has great handles.
ReplyDeleteLin is back in there with 6:49 left in the 2nd quarter. Udrih is back in as well.
ReplyDeleteWe need the rhythm back.
ReplyDeleteIt's already half a quarter.
McHell is retarded, isn't he?
Yeah this game could've been over if he let Lin play till the half of second. He is the biggest momentum killer for Lin.
DeleteMcHell did it on purpose.
DeleteHe was trying his best to work against the starters.
Lin sacrificing his body again and taking a charge from Jones.
ReplyDeleteThat 6'8'' bulldoze charge looked really hurt!
DeleteDamn JLin killing it on both ends!!!
ReplyDeleteLin with the feed to Asik for his 5th assist.
ReplyDeleteMagic Johns-Lin!
ReplyDeleteLin looked cold with his first 3 point attempt which was way too strong and clang off the back of the hoop.
ReplyDeleteLooked really ugly. Cringe worthy.
DeleteWhat's the point of resting Lin so long?
DeleteYou guy gets the picture.
I surely don't.
I think McHale is definitely against Lin in his substitution.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Omer and Greg Smith gonna get double doubles tonight.
ReplyDeleteLin needed to take that shot especially on a day like today.
ReplyDeleteWatch out for my guy Andrew Nicholson.
ReplyDeleteHe'd been a vastly better pick than Royce White or Terrence Jones.
Right now Nicholson is a better player than Thomas Robinson.
Wow your guy? U know him personally?
DeleteYou guys getting that Linsanity feeling again?
ReplyDeleteEveryone playing D, everyone running, everyone passing to the open man, JLin is the catalyst.
DeleteNo.. He is not scoring as well. But playing the role of pg beautifully though.
DeleteI guess for me Linsanity was never about his scoring. It was the way he brought his teammates to play at their highest levels.
DeleteHe doesn't need to but still should get easy layups.
DeleteHe wants to prove a point of getting 10pts/18asts
No Linsanity wouldn't have been Linsanity without his scoring.
DeleteAnybody sitting on the bench for that long will get a cold.
ReplyDeleteMaybe in the next game, Lin, Parson and Harden will be out because of
McHell poisoning.
Lead is back up to 19 points again with Lin running the show.
ReplyDelete"Must be a coincidence." -McHale & Clutch Fans
Deleteamazing how media will report the box scores and then it's attributed to the bigs magically having a great game.
DeleteI know, right? "Lin was solid, but Asik and Smith were the MVPs..." Yeah, then how come they've never ever looked close to this good before? Not even against the Bobcats or against 3rd stringers?
DeleteLin's 7th assist to Delfino's unbelievable 3PT that rolled in!
ReplyDeleteDel-Three-No's shot is sweet!
Lin assists to Garcia's and Delfino's 3PT shots are money shots.
He is just too unselfish.
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see Terence Jones in the 4th.
ReplyDeleteI like to see Terence Jones get a double double here.
ReplyDeleteJust to show McHell is wrong about Terence Jones.
ReplyDeleteWith Lin playing like this, it's going to be a blow out.
J3!
ReplyDeleteLIN FROM WAYYYY DOWNTOWN! HIS SWAG IS BACK!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what negative things McHale has to say about this game.
ReplyDeleteHe overhelped...once. Bench him!
DeleteLin is turning over again just 2 times.
Delete'Lin definitely needs to improve on that,' said McFail.
Harden chewing in his lip on the bench - yea, that's right you figure it out bro!
ReplyDelete22 points lead. Lin gunning for a double double with 9 points and 7 assists so far and 2 TOs.
ReplyDeleteMcHell is going to bench him again soon.
DeleteI'd love to see him get 15-15 today. 14 assists is his career high so far.
DeleteDMo is definitely out of sync.
ReplyDeleteStarting him has been a bad decision.
He needs time to work on his defense and teamwork.
We'll see Terence Jones pretty soon.
It's a blow out.
LIN BALL = WIN BALL
ReplyDeleteOmg love that in rhythm 3. Just knew it would go in... Ah swoosh!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun game to watch.
ReplyDeleteJeremy is the brain for the Rox.
ReplyDeleteBut McHale likes brainless plays :)
wow, that was a wick 3 ball
ReplyDeleteLin with 9pts/7asts in 1st half!
ReplyDeleteOn track for 18pts/14asts!
But he will rest after Q3 with 18pts/11asts
To stop Lin from getting a double double, they have to bench him!!!
DeleteSampson Half Time comments:
ReplyDelete"...this is the way we're suppose to play....with defense...passing the ball around..."
Uhhhh so what happens when Harden is on the court? All that goes out the window?
A cleverly disguised digg at harden?
DeleteI bet Harden has been following his suggestions that may the best player has the ball all the time. What a hypocrite!
DeleteI think I've said this before, but Sampson seems to be coming around on Lin. McHale remains unmoved, but Sampson's demeanor and comments towards Jeremy have steadily improved over the season.
DeleteSampson is trying to get the Head Coaching job LOL
DeleteI'm worried that Jeremy is playing too well -- he won't get his stats because he'll be destroying the Magic by 30 by mid-3rd quarter!
ReplyDeleteMcHell won't let it happen.
DeleteHe'll probably start Beverly in the second half.
The refs will try to even out the game.
DeleteThat's what they tell you when you train to be an official referee. When an opponent has an advantage you try to give the other team a fair chance of winning the game. Which NBA officials translates to, TRY TO GET Rockets into foul trouble and kill their rhythm by calling bogus fouls and travel violations.
JHarden should take a hard look at Mr. Anderson, and just play like him. Rox will be a much much better team happily after.
ReplyDeleteDMo plays more minutes than Smith.
ReplyDeleteWhat's McHell making out of this?
Which team is he coaching?
Whose side is he on?
McHale giving G. Smith the Jeremy Lin treatment?
DeleteI don't like G. Smith he dunks it too much, those are home run dunks!
DeleteSmith makes McHale look real bad.
DeleteSmith plays so much better than DMo,
McHale said," DMO deserves a chance, out Smith, comes in DMO"
Orlando announcers recognizing Lin's role in this game.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you guys are watching the "Free Jeremy Lin" movie ... oh, wait, it's halftime intermission.
ReplyDeleteAnyone just heard Sampson at halftime? Not a mention of jlin about first half. It's Anderson, Garcia, and smith. ReplyDeleteI think he was trying to say that the Back-Ups are just as good as the starters. That's why he left Jlin out...
DeleteHe is the Lin-hater..
DeleteDude don't mind Sampson. The Orlando announcers are going gaga over Lin. Everything is about Lin. How stopping him is the key to coming back in the game.
DeleteLin Gaga
DeleteGet your Poker Face On!
ReplyDeleteSo many good players have been wasted by overplaying the star players, Harden and Parson.
DeleteTomorrow Lin, Parson, Harden would be out because of McFail poisoning.
McHell is killing our players!!!!
U know this was the type of play from Jeremy I was expecting this season. Just ruined when Morey got harden...
ReplyDeleteThey didn't want to have to overpay for the role players that would have benefited from a Jlin offensive system LOL...
DeleteJust like the Landry Fields, Steve Novaks...due to Linsanity, their value went up...they don't want the same thing to happen to their role players in Houston...LOL

DeleteWhat Lin is doing right now is rondo esque.. Yup McHale that your pg ... See the difference ?
ReplyDeleteJust tuned in last 3 mins of 2nd. All i gotta say is wow. Lin's on linsanity mode on both ends. He played D on UDrih like a great wall.
ReplyDeleteMcHale and Sampson would be so mad.
ReplyDeleteFinally all Hell broke loose.
We see the truth.
The true Linsanity emerges out of the cloud.
They need time to find words to say.
"I hate Jeremy", McHell and Sinpson
Orlando's gonna foul the hell out of Lin. Hope he doesn't get hurt
ReplyDeleteIf you read the game thread on CF (now) you will see that Lin gets a lot of love from all the non-crazy CF people.
ReplyDeleteWarrell said that it was difficult for Orlando to score against the starting 5 and most of the scoring was against the bench. Very observant Mr. Worrell. Tell that to McFail.
ReplyDeleteHahahah. Lin got an assist on Asik deep ball. What is this game coming to.
ReplyDeleteHey man
ReplyDeleteWe're ready for the 2nd half.
Lin is reaching double double territory soon. McHale is itching to bench him soon.
ReplyDeleteHe couldn't wait.
DeleteBut we'' stone him if he does.
lin might get benched for the rest of the game before he gets his 10th assist...
ReplyDeleteG. Smith is gonna have to shut it down for awhile now. He has picked up his 5th foul. Not a smart move if he wants to remain in the game.
ReplyDeleteDarn Smith got into foul trouble again.
ReplyDeleteJust give the reason McHell to bench.
Playing like this, Asik is gong to get over 20 rebounds.
ReplyDeleteSince when you see Asik takes a long jumper.
It is magic.
Lin's just a consistent j away from a perfect game...smh
ReplyDeleteRox have missed so many shots.
ReplyDeletejeremy rockets is a beauty to watch.
ReplyDeleteMan, all those open midranges look good. Darn ball just didn't fall in the hoop. But still look good being aggressive with his O.
ReplyDeleteTo stay on the court.
ReplyDeleteLin, you have to be imperfect or Hell will break loose.
Garcia is playing really well both sides of the court.
ReplyDeleteWhat da hell happened..
ReplyDeleteLin with a double double on his pass to Asik for the dunk.
ReplyDeleteWe have too many guards on the court and no forward.
ReplyDeleteLin for 3333333
ReplyDeleteTRob for DMO please.
ReplyDeleteLin with brilliant pass to ASIK!
ReplyDeleteAsik feeding at the trough!
ReplyDeleteNEW THREAD!
ReplyDeleteAsik got his 3rd.
ReplyDeleteBeverly in for LIn with 4:09 left in the 3rd quarter.
ReplyDeleteMy bad, Beverly is in there with Lin.
Deletenice quick 4 for lin ... one benefit from falling and getting up slowly.
ReplyDeleteim gonna say it...rockets without harden is better.
ReplyDeleteJeremy is 8-13 WITHOUT A SINGLE WHISTLE.
ReplyDeleteWhat other young PG could do that?
He got hammered TWICE under the basket. Almost made it once. Made it the second time.
Delete
