    1. good morning. greetings from cebu, philippines. let's go!

  4. Almost game time. Look for McHale to be mixing and experimenting with some line up and rotations tonight since the Rockets already got a play off berth. No Parsons tonight so let's see how McHale rotate and make adjustments against Randolph and Gasol.

  5. MEM haven't won in HOU since April 2005.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Wow Toyota Center looks empty. Either audience is late or ticket sales are really low

    ReplyDelete
  7. Grizzlies look to be out rebounding Rockets so far tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Harden so far with two TOs and also gave Asik a dirty look on the pass to Asik which Asik had no chance of catching.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Officials so far cheating Lin on a foul that should have been an AND 1. They called a foul for Randolph on the other end instead and he barely got touched.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Harden's man is the opponent's high scorer. Is this a surprise?

    ReplyDelete
  11. JLin has been putting up floaters that miss backrim lately instead of going in strong to bank it off the rim. He needs to use glass on that layup.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Agreed. It's like he doesn't know what to do and hesitates so the ball gets caught in between the rim and the backboard.

      Delete
  12. Harden is a TO machine and so far the Houston announcers didn't say diddly squat about his TOs and McHale surely didn't say anything about it.

    ReplyDelete

    1. They keep going to Harden to go ISO. Even though he's being guarded by the best perimeter defender in the NBA.

      Delete
  13. Feel sorry for Greg Smith tonight. Z-Bo is a beast in the low post.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, Z-Bo just gets every whistle from the refs.

      Delete
    2. No Z-Bo is a beast. You don't know much about other teams do you?

      Delete
    3. Z-Bo is getting freethrows for leaning into defenders. I know what I see. Refs have always been biased for certain players, it's just that tonight Z-Bo getting the Kobe-Lebron treatment.

      Delete
    4. LOL! You're comparing a guy who averages 4.5 FTA a game with dudes with who average 7.6 FTA and 8.7 FTA a game.

Tonight it's a combination of Z-Bo beasting and Rockets lacking legit NBA power forwards.

      Delete
  14. Jeremy came to play. Nobody else did.

Rockets look terrible whenever Jeremy isn't directly involved in the play.

And now here comes Beverly, ugh. Take out the one guy playing well!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin was taken out because he was scoring too much and it was cramping Harden's style.

      Delete
    2. Conley immediately scores two easy bucket on Beverly...most obvious outcome ever.

      Delete
  15. Rox looks really bad. So out of sync.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Perhaps they will look more in sync when Harden sits in the 2nd quarter and Lin will be in with Beverly.

      Delete
  16. Seriously WTF, M. Gasol tried to knee Asik in the balls and they call Asik for the foul ???

    ReplyDelete
  17. Why da eff would McHale want to experiment with lineup this late in the season?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Another bad game for Harden.
He's just a scorer; a mediocre defender at best; much overrated and over worked.

    ReplyDelete
  19. No more D-Mo. He is not ready to play for the Rockets. Send him down to D-League.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Take DMO out can't score inside. Can't score outside.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I I don't think the grizz are playing that well. But Rox looks just bad tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Even D-Mo post up move is horrible looking. He just puts his head down and try to spin and fade away. McHale needs to work with D-Mo more on those post moves.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It s too late in the season. He shouldn't play at all.

      Delete
  23. Lin not involved at all with the offense.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That is because McSimpleton still wants Lin to be a SG and Beverly to be the PG.

      Delete
    2. Stupid to have Lin out there if he doesn't handle the ball. Typical blind McHale.

      Delete
  24. DMo needs to improve his game. He doesn't belong in this league yet.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He wasn't exactly dominating in the D-League. His game needs a lot of work, and "trial by fire" by giving him big minutes is not gonna work.

      Delete
    2. Agree. His move looks fragile and awful.

      Delete
  25. Scrubs are FREEZING Jeremy out. It's hilarious. Such inept idiots trying to force bad shots.

Jeremy didn't touch the ball for about 3 minutes and 5 straight possessions.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He needs to demand the ball instead of letting these scrubs try to create for themselves.

      Delete
    2. Beverley has been reading the CF forums or something. He's actually beginning to think that he's better than Lin and freezing him out.

      Know your role Bev.

      Delete
    3. PB been getting praise fr Parker, LBJ...

      Delete
  26. Lin needs to stop passing to DMO. I know he wants to get him involved but he has shown nothing that he can make those outside shots. DMO has been looking terrible tamely. When Harden and parsons are both out he should take on more of the scoring load.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He needs to stop passing it period. They're giving him the lane but he's too focused on passing the ball out.

      Delete
  27. McFail's idea: THE WORSE HARDEN PLAY, THE MORE WILL HE PLAY.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Biggest problem is defense... non existence.

    ReplyDelete
  29. This is NOT the way this team should look heading into the playoffs..

    ReplyDelete
  30. Harden is sooo freaking useless if he doesn't get foul calls..

    ReplyDelete
  31. Asik is TERRIBLE today.

My Lord. He's done everything wrong today.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Rockets are playing really sloppy. No offensive flow tonight. Our 3 point shooters can't shoot. Our PF can't rebound. Our center can't finish and Rockets hero can't finish at the basket. He has so far been on an ISO binge.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They were like this last game too.

      Delete
  33. Only Lin can ball ,lol.. Too many rookies in this team.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The Rox can't get into the game w/o Lin running the offense

    ReplyDelete
  35. Only way Rockets are going to get pass R1 is if Harden DNP.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Rockets have over 100possessions a game but how many of those belong to harden.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Jlin only one ready for playoffs

    ReplyDelete
  38. This is the strongest line up with Asik + Jones + Smith

    ReplyDelete
  39. Can someone explain why

1: Asik needs to bounce the ball when hes 1 foot from the hoop

2: He misses 2 layouts 1 foot away from the hoop with a clear path

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. cuz his posture is bad. He can't go straight up when he slouches.

      Delete
    2. Because he thinks he's a PG?

      Delete
  40. Grizzlies' best in the league D forced turnovers from the Rockets. I think this game and the Denver one showed that apparently only Lin on this team is good enough to play against this playoffs type D.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Agree. Moreyball will fail in the playoffs.

      Delete
  41. Harden just don't have the mobility to run around the court.
If he is shut down and can't score, he'll be completely lost.

    ReplyDelete
  42. heck lin is every going for the boards

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. And he's the first one running up the court for the fast break. Other Rockets are looking sloooowwww.

      Delete
  43. It's an embarrassment that the refs won't rescind a call they clearly got wrong.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Eh. It's one call. Officiating is good and consistent otherwise.

"Embarrassment" = every player other than Lin tonight. No brains, no effort, no defense.

      Delete
    2. Refs assumed Harden was out of bounds even when they can't see it.

      Delete
    3. Even in real time, the call looked wrong. How can you be out of bounds when you are still in mid-air? You don't have to see Harden's foot to know that he passed before landing!

There are two other refs who could have corrected the call but nope.

      Delete
  44. Game Over.

Only Jeremy came to play and he's not even getting many touched or screens. His 3pt shooting is cold of late as well.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Memphis just playing with the rockets.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Any Harden missing leads to a slam dunk

    ReplyDelete
  47. They are gonna swept at this rate. Just shut it down.

    ReplyDelete
  48. the sad part is memphis don't even look like they're trying all that hard...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You are right. In playoff, Mac and Rockets are going to get exposed. It's whole different ball game in playoffs with tough D on every possession.

      Delete
  49. Who do they pass it to.? How about jlin?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. haah that was funny, they go through the list of scrubs and don't even mention lin

      Delete
  50. Lin getting cheated of calls again.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Funny thing is if Lin didn't fall down, there wouldn't be a call at all.

      Delete
    2. Duh... if you going to cheat, you look for the Asian guy.

      Delete
    3. Yeah, he was definitely cheated there. But hey, when your team is getting blown out like this...the refs will speed the game up and let 'em play.

      Delete
  51. With Harden running the offense, only 30 points for the half.
    He might as well retire.

    ReplyDelete
  52. If they don't come out firing on all cylinders in the second half... I'm gonna..

    ReplyDelete
  53. Welp. This just confirms what we all know (though it'll shock everyone else). Jeremy's the only two-way player on the team. Rockets are trash without him involved.

Maybe it's best to lose and dodge Denver who should still get the 3rd seed (they own the tiebreak vs. Memphis).

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Memphis is just too big inside for the crappy Houston frontcourt. Even with Asik, it's probably the WORST frontcourt I have ever seen in a playoff team.

      Delete
  54. Grizzlies getting a lot of calls in their favor. The Harden "out of bounds" then a blocking foul on Lin when Conley clearly lowered the shoulder and extended his arm.

    ReplyDelete
  55. According to my record, every game Harden made more assists than Lin, the rockets lost.

    ReplyDelete
  56. James Harden - hard not to be the leading scorer when dominating every possession and jacking up so many shots and looks like I am "carrying the team" lol.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He's delivering the team to hell.
He's the most overrated player in NBA.
He should go back as the sixth man.

      Delete
  57. Did you all hear how they tried to cheat Guan by giving him a shot penalty at the Masters? This probably had never happened before at the tourney.

And the mfking kid still made the cut!!!!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Stu the orthropod ... Dr! I like it! Now, save my torn PCL.

      Delete
    2. Lol. I'm non-surgical physical medicine and rehab so I'm useless though I can diagnose well.

      Delete
  58. Replies
    1. What D? There's only ever been Lin and to a lesser extent Asik. And the latter is useless today...he looks like he doesn't even want to be out there.

The Rockets don't need a star PF this offseason. Just a defender/rebounder/dunker. Smith or Millsap would be fine. I also wish Houston would get Andrei Kirilenko and trade Parsons for a backup center.

      Delete
  59. Replies
    1. JLin of course.
If he didn't run the offense, he rarely had TO because teammates slipped his pass.

      Delete
  60. i would never thought i say this but here i come. without the help of the referees james harden is at least an average ball player. he is just sooooo bad and slow. the rest of the rockets except jeremy and parsons are way to incosistent and simply fucking bad too. i HOPE they are tanking becuz everything else would be just too embarresing

    ReplyDelete
  61. no of comments here can tell this is such a boring game

    ReplyDelete
  62. Jeremy playing great individual defense on Conley (except for flop late in second quarter that was called a blocking foul).

Harden looks like he is just too amp'd up for this game. Hopefully the adrenaline starts to wear off and some of his shots start to fall.

No problem with how McHale is trying to run offense this game.

Seems like game should be about tied if some of their shots fell and they didn't have a few of those careless turnovers.

Hopefully team can get it back to even with about 5 minutes left. Then it's Harden and Lin time.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Amped up? I think everyone looks a little lazy and out of it.

Memphis is just too big and the Rockets don't even want to win this game really -- it would only increase the odds they face Denver.

      Delete
  63. Because lots of people complain that Lin was cheated on the minutes, they actually let Lin have more minutes but as SG.
Darn!!!!! Lin is supposed to be the first PG not Harden.
Harden only care about his own statistics.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Madness is doing the same thing and hoping the result will be different.

    ReplyDelete
  65. The time that Lin made 4 TOs; the haters start screaming to bench him.
Now Harden made 4 in only half the game; it was OK.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Will Harden break his record of TOs today.,
    9 was his record.

    ReplyDelete
  67. This game Harden at least made some effort to stay on his man, but Bayless hit contested shots.

Lin still has the habit of helping one pass away -- and worst of all, giving up corner 3s while helping. Lin is being stupid and the coaches are stupid for letting the players do this all season.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Good coaching like that of Chicago, San Antonio, Miami would not tolerate giving up corner 3s so easily. That's on McHale/Sampson.

      Delete
  68. Rockets are putting some effort this quarter, but their rebounding is still atrocious.

  70. harden plays OFF the ball rockets win. wonder why that is... ah maybe because hes a SHOOTING guard. ffs mchale

    ReplyDelete
  71. Asik is USELESS another blown assists why the fuck is he sleeping?!!!!!!
