Igloo scoring 4 points already. He shot the long 2. Too bad, I am sure Lin knows how it feels to be making those long 2's and not getting credit for the 3 points.
Garcia is the defender on Igloo. Rockets are starting out slow. All of their plays have been inside to G. Smith and he has been denied by Faried. Nuggets are shooting hot so far.
So far the Rockets have not been able to get easy penetration baskets. Denver has been defending really well at the rim. Houston's points have come off of Harden's foul shots and 3 points shot. Not a very good dependable well to goto. Houston needs more penetration shots and easy shots to survive this game.
2nd team of Denver is playing much better than Houston's 2nd team. Denver is double teaming Lin and denying him the ball. T-Jones with a rookie mistake by jumping up and passing for a TO.
The media bias continues. Lin makes a 3ptr, and the Denver announcers say, "sometimes it's better to be lucky than good." LOL. Too bad they didn't do their research to know that Lin is shooting 41% from 3pt since the ASB
wait, did Lin bank in the 3? I thought he swished it. If it was a bank, then I take it back, the Denver announcers were perfectly justified in their comment.
Denver will calm down with the high flying circus act. Houston's PF and center can't really do anything against Denver's big man. Faried has been big under the basket blocking shots and disrupting Houston's bigs.
You are totally right! That big dufus Nuggets announcer has no idea what he's talking about!! Lin was the one running circles around Lawson. Don't know what game he was watching. And by the way in high school in California it is said that Lin used to manhandle Lawson. So Lin's domination of Lawson nothing new!
So far in this half George Karl coaching > McFail. Karl was able to sub players in and make the adjustment to combat Harden and McFail has no answers but just standing on the sideline yelling at his team.
Harden looks like ass on D but the rest of the team doesn't look very good on D either.
I hope Lin doesn't cool off in the second half (law of averages). That happened to him during LInsanity against the Wolves. He had 16 in the 1st and barely hit anything in the second half.
Haha, I was just thinking about that game. This is more like the Bucks game last year. He was hitting some mega-tough jumpers that I hadn't seen from him this season.
That last miss was on Harden. He threw it to Jeremy while Jeremy was flat-footed and had to take a 3 with the shot-clock winding down...no rhythm.
Dude, Harden is the 2nd leading scorer (12 points when no one else has more than 6 but Lin) and has 4 of the Rockets' 14 assists (Lin has 4, Beverly has 3). If Harden sits, the Rockets don't have a chance in this game or in a lot of other games. And if Harden wasn't on the team, the Rockets go almost winless during the first 6 weeks when Lin was obviously still not back from his injury and the team quits. Harden has taken fewer shots in this game than Lin (6 to 8) and everyone is still bashing him.
Last year everyone was bashing Melo, this year everyone hates Harden. With Melo last year it was justified to a degree, but with Harden this year it is obvious that the real problem is McHale, not Harden trying to undermine him on the court and in the locker room like Melo did. It is obvious that you guys simply want a team with Lin and 4 nobodies ... Lin and a bunch of spot up shooters and limited big men who can't do a thing on offense without Lin setting them up. Well as that isn't the formula for building a playoff - let alone championship - NBA team, don't expect to get what you want.
Rockets need to be MORE PHYSICAL on defense. Except Lin because he's got the hot hand tonight. The Nuggets are a poor FT shooting team w/o Lawson and Gallo. Send them to line if need be.
Also, there's so many HARD moving screens on Jeremy tonight. Man...
Ref not calling a foul for Lin when he got bumped when Harden passed him the ball on the fast break. He got a make up call from Ref on Miller, but no free throws.
NCAA or NBA tonight? Both are playing at the same time!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWatching Jeremy Lin trumps every and all responsibilities.
DeleteIf you're even asking that, you don't belong here.
DeleteNo Ty Lawson tonight. No Parsons for the Rockets.
ReplyDeleteGallo is out for the season.
DeleteIgloo scoring first. Denver uniforms look like yellow jackets.
ReplyDeleteShot clock violation. Series involing G. Smith and Harden and Lin not touching the ball.
ReplyDeleteIgloo scoring 4 points already. He shot the long 2. Too bad, I am sure Lin knows how it feels to be making those long 2's and not getting credit for the 3 points.
ReplyDeleteWho is defending him?
DeleteThanks for game updates!
DeleteGarcia is the defender on Igloo. Rockets are starting out slow. All of their plays have been inside to G. Smith and he has been denied by Faried. Nuggets are shooting hot so far.
DeleteHarden has twice been able to draw fouls and got his four points from the line. Houston is behind 4 to 9.
ReplyDeleteIgloo is super aggressive on Garcia. Nothing Garcia can do. Igloo is shooting hot so far.
ReplyDeleteDenver is moving the ball and everyone is getting touches.
ReplyDeleteHouston is turning into Harden ISO and Greg Smith in the low post.
Lin has yet been able to able to shoot or get an assist. Spoke too soon. He just got an assist from Garcia long 3 point shot.
ReplyDeleteLin with his first shot and it's a 3 pointer that is good!
ReplyDeleteGarcia 2x 3
ReplyDeleteLin 1x 3
12 straight points! 16:12
DeleteT-Jone getting in on the 3 points festivities. Rockets leading 16 to 12.
ReplyDeleteSo far the Rockets have not been able to get easy penetration baskets. Denver has been defending really well at the rim. Houston's points have come off of Harden's foul shots and 3 points shot. Not a very good dependable well to goto. Houston needs more penetration shots and easy shots to survive this game.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteLin looks hurt when he slipped on the wet spot and lost his shoe. They called a foul for Lin. Lin is slow getting up.
ReplyDelete100 points and fans get 4 tacos as the woman kept yelling into the microphone, "Tacos!!!"
ReplyDeleteSleeves is working its' magic for lin's shoot! :)
ReplyDeleteLin with a hard, aggressive drive to the hoop and getting a Harden-esque call. I like it!!
ReplyDeleteHouston transition game is just raking up fouls on Denver.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
No points or dishes to Asik so far in the game. Only Harden, Garcia and Lin are the scorers for Houston.
ReplyDeleteFoul calls so far are all in favor of Houston. 9 foul calls so far.
ReplyDeletethat was such an offensive foul on Denver. The screener launched his hips into Lin
ReplyDeleteThe Shaqtin A Fool star Javal McGee has subbed in.
ReplyDeleteLin looking reeeeerally good tonight..
ReplyDeleteLin with the drive on the left side and put up a shot and Denver was called for goal tending. 5 points for Lin and 1 assist.
ReplyDeleteLin with a pass to Asik and Asik passing to T-Jones for the And 1.
ReplyDeleteT jones has been impressive as wl
ReplyDeleteJLin lookin' good.
ReplyDeleteNuggets look slow...
Bev is in for Lin at 3:25 mark in the 1st quarter. Harden is able to get another foul call on the fast break on Igloo. Two fouls on Igloo now.
ReplyDeleteThey called the foul on Brewer. Igloo still has 1 foul.
DeleteWith the altitude and the back-to-back, I don't mind him getting the rest.
DeleteHe's playing great, but it's a four quarter game!
A lot of energy by the Rox on the second if b2b!
ReplyDeleteMan, TJones is like a human Flying highlight out there!
ReplyDelete3PT, offensive rebounds. If only he made his FTs.
LINVINCIBLE
ReplyDeleteHe's playing a perfect game out there.
I did get scared when he fell down in the SAME SPOT Gallinari had his injury, lol. Is there something wrong with that floorboard?!
Dude somebody steppers on his foot.. His shoe fell off
DeleteI know, I was just joking. Just a funny coincidence he went down in that same spot.
DeleteThere better not be anything wrong with his foot, calf, knee or thigh. No one knew he was injured for weeks last year,
DeleteStop with the fucking play by play. People not watching the game can go to NBA.com for that.
ReplyDeleteWatch your pie hole!
DeleteAre we gonna see bev - Lin back court?
ReplyDeleteDenver has Iggy, their best defender, guarding Lin. That's some serious respect.
ReplyDeleteToo bad Lin doesn't respect Iggy and blew past him (going left) and got the layup (goaltending)
Someone didn't update their scouting report...Lin can go left now lol :D
DeleteUpdate: Stephen A. Smith's head just exploded.
DeleteOr imploded...since there's a complete vacuum inside.
Mr. Anderson joining in on the 3 point club with his first score from 3 point land.
ReplyDeleteBetter play-by-play here than NBA.com. Appreciated even if some people don't.
DeleteNo problem guys. I like to give you some play by play and some comments on the side if possible.
DeleteGals included. Sorry to leave out gals.
DeleteWhat happened to Lawson?
ReplyDeleteHurt his foot and out about couple of weeks.
DeleteHou lookin good with the ball movement!!! I like Lin in attack mode.
ReplyDeleteI like the whole tem's vibe tonight..
DeleteWow that was awesome
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO ANDERSON BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a spectacular play!
ReplyDeleteTJones monstrous block leading to Anderson's jam! hahaha
Anderson -> nasty dunk!
ReplyDeleteT jones earning his spot
ReplyDeleteDang.... that dunk nasty
ReplyDeleteWow, T-Jones with the block and which lead to the fast break and Mr. Anderson with the posterizing dunk on Fournier.
ReplyDeleteFournier is quick
ReplyDeleteDamn!!! Hou block and then Anderson with a poster slam and 1!! Wow!!
ReplyDeleteHeh they watched coach nick's video.
ReplyDeleteThey got Harden dialed in.
2nd team not lookin' good
ReplyDeleteWow horrible TO
ReplyDeleteUh oh better bring Lin back to start the second
ReplyDeleteDMo with the 3!
ReplyDeleteUh Oh, Harden picked up his 2nd foul and 2nd unit just gave back some of the lead. Still 10 points game with D-Mo 3 point shot.
ReplyDeleteHarden playing D?
DeleteDenver got a good plan to close Harden's lane with triple-team to draw charges.
DeleteBev's TO was really a bad pass.
But good thing DMo saved that string TOs with a timely 3PT. Phew!
Hardly, he picked it up on a charge.
DeleteNah they basically just set Harden up for charging...Cause you know he's predictable.
Deleteah got it thanks. Take away his launch pad.
DeleteTo PB: plz don't copy Lin's jump pass, Lin doesn't do that very well either.
ReplyDeleteBetter let lin start the 2nd
ReplyDeleteThat 3 from lin is pretty
Lin + PB now
ReplyDeleteNice drive by PB
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to stop Fournier.
ReplyDeleteThe guy is playing very well.
LMAO they are double teaming Lin at Rox half court
ReplyDeleteBeautiful drive by Lin
ReplyDeleteOhhh bad handles Lin
ReplyDeleteNot really Lin's fault. Rockets don't know how to break the press and nobody calling out trailers for Lin.
DeleteLooked like he tried to cross and hit his own foot.
DeleteRockets look ugly breaking the press. Karl with a great idea to press and trap Houston since they played last night.
ReplyDeleteBad TO by Lin not securing the ball first.
ReplyDeleteCome on, Lin!
TO after TO lead is down to 4.
ReplyDeleteLin sloppy with the ball
ReplyDeleteThat was his first TO. Give him a break.
DeleteThose are the types of TO that shouldn't happen though.
DeleteLoving Lin+Beverley
ReplyDelete2nd team of Denver is playing much better than Houston's 2nd team. Denver is double teaming Lin and denying him the ball. T-Jones with a rookie mistake by jumping up and passing for a TO.
ReplyDelete3-3 From fg with 2 assist n 1ot
ReplyDeleteNot bad. Go jeremy
McFail reinserted G-Smith, Harden and Asik in place of Bev, D-Mo and T-Jones.
ReplyDeleteThis is not looking good at all.
ReplyDeleteNuggets leading.
Smith got pwn'd
Bad defense.
ReplyDeleteStupid travel by Harden.
ReplyDeleteThat was a bad defensive possession by Houston on Asik overhelping on Fournier and leaving McGee open for the dunk.
ReplyDeleteThey need to pick it up defensively here.
McHale had no answer for the Nuggets press defense which energized the Nuggets. He's getting out-coached by George Karl.
ReplyDeleteFariq and 1 lead is now 4 Nuggets
ReplyDeleteWow terrible pass Lin.
ReplyDeleteLuckily it went out off Nuggets.
Did you see Faried's elbows hitting the rim on that failed alley-oop?
ReplyDeleteCrazy hop
Lin's rainbow 3!!!!
ReplyDeleteDamn Lin with a 3 point shot with the time running out on the 24 point clock. Lin said take that Denver Mofo.
ReplyDeleteLin for 3
ReplyDeletePass the ball Harden, c'mon man stop the iso hero shyt
ReplyDeleteLin's dribble looks really bad...He can't seem to palm the ball.
ReplyDeleteThat arm injury is definitely affecting him.
DeleteThey are pushing the defense really hard on rockets
DeleteI know. The only way to kill the season for me is a lingering or serious injury for Lin.
DeleteLin again!
ReplyDeleteLin's 2PT bank shot!
ReplyDeleteLin bails out Harden again after a failed iso attempt.
ReplyDeleteYeah, Harden just suddenly pass him the ball cross court. It caught Lin by surprise.
Delete3 Lin 4/4 :)
ReplyDeleteDoh long 2. within 1 now
ReplyDeletelin doesn't need two other guys helping him guard fucking miller. stick to your own man.
ReplyDeleteI don't think he can guard Miller on the post up though. He prob gonna need another guy to help him out.
DeleteLol back to 4 :/
ReplyDeleteWow. Really bad plays. Nuggets have momemtum now.
ReplyDeleteHOLY CRAP.
ReplyDeleteJEREMY CAN'T MISS TONIGHT.
Keep using that's elbow brace!!!
The media bias continues. Lin makes a 3ptr, and the Denver announcers say, "sometimes it's better to be lucky than good." LOL. Too bad they didn't do their research to know that Lin is shooting 41% from 3pt since the ASB
ReplyDeleteSomebody here at the game? Please throw some stuff at the anouncers!
Deletewait, did Lin bank in the 3? I thought he swished it. If it was a bank, then I take it back, the Denver announcers were perfectly justified in their comment.
DeleteWhat an exciting battle of two teams with the same style!
ReplyDeleteDefense and fast break.
Asik and T Jones aren't gonna get it done. Keep the ball with Lin and Harden.
ReplyDeleteDenver will calm down with the high flying circus act. Houston's PF and center can't really do anything against Denver's big man. Faried has been big under the basket blocking shots and disrupting Houston's bigs.
ReplyDeleteLin is a perfect 5-5 FGM and 2-2 3PTM for 14pts!
ReplyDeleteone thing's for certain, Lin better keep that shooting sleeve on for the rest of the season
ReplyDeleteHouston needs to attack and attack to cause Denver Bigs to be in foul trouble. That will definitely slow down their aggressiveness.
ReplyDeleteLin is perfect except the TO
ReplyDeleteHahaha
why the hell is Lin leaving his man wide open
ReplyDeleteNice pass, within 2 now.
ReplyDeleteLin turnaround shot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful fadeaway jumpshot by Lin!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha....Lin scoring on Faried with a fade away that hits nothing but net.
ReplyDeleteLin's in a zone: Let's get 30 or more.
ReplyDeletehope he doesn't cool down in the second half.
DeleteDREAMSHAKE!!! GO LIN EAT THAT IGLOO
ReplyDeletei was at the last game in denver and Lin fucking DESTROYED Lawson. Stupid announcer.
ReplyDeleteYou are totally right! That big dufus Nuggets announcer has no idea what he's talking about!! Lin was the one running circles around Lawson. Don't know what game he was watching. And by the way in high school in California it is said that Lin used to manhandle Lawson. So Lin's domination of Lawson nothing new!
DeleteThe mile high air is helping Lin's high arcing shots!
ReplyDeleteHis buzzer beater -> very high arc!!! Went in -> sooo beautyful!
DeleteLINS HOT
ReplyDeleteLol announcers called Harden out on his matador defense. Poor garcia.
ReplyDeletelol... Harden defense is truly bad tonight... Denver air?
DeleteLin's unstoppabale. Feed the flame James. Burn let burn mf lol
ReplyDeleteJeremy FINALLY missed one, heh. Followed that up with a beauty dish to Asik for a DUNK.
ReplyDeleteThat ELBOW BRACE is working!
DeleteCommentator "Miller right by Harden". More and more people calling Harden's total lack of commitment to defence.
ReplyDeleteLin showed up.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the rest of the team?
Terrible shot by Harden. Pulled up on a three with nobody else touching the ball.
ReplyDeleteHarden trying to be the hero and take a quick 3 pointer that was a fail. Denver ended up scoring on the other end with a 3 pointer.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Those are momentum killers.
DeleteI hate when Harden handles the ball like that.
ReplyDeleteUGH.
DeleteHarden is KILLING the Rockets. Whenever the ball is out of Jeremy's hands...the Rockets suck. George Karl must be loving this collapse.
Look, James, you're a great scorer, but it's NOT YOUR NIGHT. Let J-Lin be the man tonight and it'll mean good things for you, too.
So far in this half George Karl coaching > McFail. Karl was able to sub players in and make the adjustment to combat Harden and McFail has no answers but just standing on the sideline yelling at his team.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Rockets still got their legs with this breakneck pace in the 2nd half.
ReplyDeleteThe Rockets are missing Del3no and Parsons' 3PT shooting tonight.
Harden's not making his 3s either.
Harden looks like ass on D but the rest of the team doesn't look very good on D either.
ReplyDeleteI hope Lin doesn't cool off in the second half (law of averages). That happened to him during LInsanity against the Wolves. He had 16 in the 1st and barely hit anything in the second half.
Haha, I was just thinking about that game. This is more like the Bucks game last year. He was hitting some mega-tough jumpers that I hadn't seen from him this season.
DeleteThat last miss was on Harden. He threw it to Jeremy while Jeremy was flat-footed and had to take a 3 with the shot-clock winding down...no rhythm.
Is it really need to pass that late? Did he want to ruin Jeremy stats?
ReplyDeletei'm expecting a loss but I'd like for Lin to get 30/8.
ReplyDeleteif harden sits...rockets would win this game.
ReplyDeleteDude, Harden is the 2nd leading scorer (12 points when no one else has more than 6 but Lin) and has 4 of the Rockets' 14 assists (Lin has 4, Beverly has 3). Well as that isn't the formula for building a playoff - let alone championship - NBA team, don't expect to get what you want.
they should let jeremy create the whole second half..they will win.
ReplyDeleteLinsanity?
DeleteLin playing so good, but the Rox aren't playing any D
ReplyDeleteWhoa just tuned it. Lin going nuts I guess.
ReplyDeleteIf Lin can not get others going, it is hard to win this game. Harden was rendered insignificant by the Nuggets. He should sit.
ReplyDeleteThey need to play PB + Lin + AB and sit Harden out. It'll throw a monkey wrench in Karl's plans.
DeleteThen when their starters are tired, bring Harden back in.
we're gonna lose if harden's shooting doesn't pick up and we rely too much on him. We need the entire team playing and we need to play D...bad.
ReplyDeleteRockets need to be MORE PHYSICAL on defense. Except Lin because he's got the hot hand tonight. The Nuggets are a poor FT shooting team w/o Lawson and Gallo. Send them to line if need be.
ReplyDeleteAlso, there's so many HARD moving screens on Jeremy tonight. Man...
Yep - like the one from Randalph -> no call!
DeleteNice assist for a 3 go Lin!
ReplyDeleteWithin 3
ReplyDeleteLin with the assist to Garcia who got a lucky roll on the 3 point attempt. G. Smith with a hook shot over Faried to score his first 2 points.
ReplyDeleteLol Asik helping opposing team again :D
ReplyDeleteAgainst top tier teams, Asik seems to go missing, Smith is stronger at offence
DeleteWTF was that Lin?!?!? You're normally not that dumb!
ReplyDeleteYeah gotta wrap up
ReplyDeleteslippery when wet!
DeleteHarden shot not falling in the 2nd half and luckily G. Smith was able to grab the O Reb and manage to put it back.
ReplyDeleteRotating really well on Lin.
ReplyDeleteSee like I said Karl is adjusting...Again...
make up foul?
ReplyDeleteWow BS no call on Lin.
ReplyDeleteLin pumped, hung in the air, defender hit him in the hips like a tackle then Lin threw the ball for a shot. Result - no call, dunk on the other end.
DeleteRef not calling a foul for Lin when he got bumped when Harden passed him the ball on the fast break. He got a make up call from Ref on Miller, but no free throws.
ReplyDeleteLin got elbowed in the face again...
ReplyDeleteC'mon Lin, your stats!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Houston is getting destroyed inside. Houston's big man cannot match up with the Manimal.
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda ripping Harden tonight but we're getting DESTROYED inside. Our big men don't match up.
Delete6/11 Lin is just not hitting it 2nd half. Regression to the mean?
ReplyDeletenope, he will come back
DeleteTired team playing a team that needs a win.
Deletetake Harden out of the game, he's not doing anything.
ReplyDeleteWow 2 non calls on Lin already.
ReplyDelete
