  1. Go JLin! Making the best out of the (limited) opportunities you are given. Gotta love that.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Let's go, Jeremy!

Make JLinfan#1 be Nostradamus that you'll go off tonight.

I'd also say Jeremy will go off raining threes and will sit by the end of 3Q as in the 1st DAL game!

BTW, Utah lost 88-89 to Chicago. It should be good news but it might give more breathing room for McHale's experiment with TRob and Bev in 4Q.

    1. Lin USUALLY gets to play against his former teams.

      Delete
    2. I'm crossing my fingers, @via.
Perhaps Jeremy needs to make at least 3 threes or 6-7 assists by 3Q so he'll stay on the floor.

  4. Here to support Lin even if he plays 25 minutes.

  5. Wow Lin half asleep got picked.

    ReplyDelete
  6. GSW uniforms look like highschoolers uniforms.

    ReplyDelete

    1. No sleeveless tees. These are yellowish tee-shirts with short sleeves.

  7. Lin draining 3's with eyes closed now.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Parsons killing them, but Curry answers.

    Terrible D on both sides.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yup, Harden is on a hot streak now. 0 for 4.

    ReplyDelete
  10. All right! I'm ready to see Lin get benched again.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I think jeremy is hurt .. I don't see him hustling for then ball like bev does..

    ReplyDelete
  12. Wow, Robinson got subbed in for DMo quick. I missed the start of the game -- what happened?

    ReplyDelete
  13. T-Rob in early because D-Mo picked up two quick PFs. Now he is going to have to sit for the rest of the 1st and 2nd quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hm, Harden 0 points with 0-4 so far.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Rox without energy including Lin, really not good

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't see why they don't have energy? They got almost two days off. They just started slow that's all.

      Delete
  16. Lin looks like he had no idea what he's doing

    ReplyDelete
  17. Lin is looking for his own shot off of the Asik pnR. Too bad he was short on the shot.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well at this rate i don't see Jeremy playing much at all...

    ReplyDelete
  19. That wasn't a great shot choice by Lin but I hope he keeps looking for his own shot. He should have 15 FTA a game.

    ReplyDelete
  20. T-Rob is a pretty bad FT shooter. He ranks up there with Asik and Greg Smith and D-Howard.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Missed three FTs. I hope Morey knows WTF he traded for.

      Delete
  21. Ugly game so far.. For everyone ..

    ReplyDelete
  22. This is not good. DMo is not on the floor so Lin can't get his PnR going. Hope TRob can do the job.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Replies
    1. yup, McHale's already thinking Bev can stop Curry and grab offensive rebounds.

      Delete
  24. Harden is making nice passes, but not good shots. He is 0 for 5 now.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Harden 0/5 2pts 5 assists, I guess he's Beverley tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  26. This offense looks ugly today.. Not flowing at all. When parsons start missing shots they r gonna be in trouble.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Golden State is actually playing defense!

      Delete
  27. Replies
    1. You should, perhaps the Rockets will have a chance to win and Lin will get to play the 4th quarter.

      Delete
  28. Wow Harden is really sucking. Very poor shot selection.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, it's more that Golden State is actively contesting him and he has to force the action.

      Delete
  29. Lin can't afford to play like this with him already in the dog house. He looks soo listless .. Did McHale yell at him?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Solid, do me a solid and watch the game. Nobody is yelling at nobody. Everybody is playing the game. It just looks slow now.

      Delete
    2. No, Lin looks fine.

Thomas Robinson does not look fine. He doesn't know where he's going or what he's doing.

The Rockets are playing 4 on 5 on offense.

      Delete
    3. John I'm watching the game. U really think I'm serious? What is up your ass?

      Delete
  30. What really happened to DMo? Only 3 min.

    ReplyDelete
  31. There's a real effort to stop Lin off the pick and roll tonight by the Warriors.

Also, there's a real effort to give Stephen Curry some real pick and roll scoring help against Lin.

Curry cannot stop or score on Lin without help.

    ReplyDelete
  32. McHale: Jeremy u r not gonna play your brand of basketball, not over my dead body!!!!! We are trying to win this game!

    Lin: .......

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hahaha, T-Rob just missed an easy dunk.

    ReplyDelete
  34. lin missed 3... not looking good... finger on the power button..

    ReplyDelete
  35. This is sad to watch. Rox don't look good at all.

    Really bad 3 by Lin.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. There's nothing to worry about at this point, Kenoshi.

Golden State will not maintain this IMPECCABLE level of defense. They don't have the personnel for it, despite some pretty good coaching by Mark Jackson about effort and trapping.

The Houston Rockets will score and score. As the game winds on, the track meet will begin.

      Delete
  36. Harden didn't pass to easy Lin layup and opted for Parsons' 3. Bad decision.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Lin's been getting doubled off the pick so far.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Beverly is in with 23.8 left in the 1st quarter with Harden , Francisco, Harden, Greg Smith and T-Rob.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He still doesn't let finish the quarter.. Why? He was going to bring in bev to start the 2nd anyways. U do those kind of moves if u r trying to rest your starter.... Don't get it.

      Delete
  39. Lol wow Rox getting torched.

Harden gets double teamed as soon as Lin is off.

McHale is dumb I swear, this happens every time against any decent team.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Replies
    1. Only in one place...Harden. Not sure why he's in a bad mood. He's been really unselfish of late. But not today, I guess. Maybe he had words with some of the Rockets last time. I don't know...it's weird and ruining the game.

      Delete
  41. Harden is freezing Jeremy out.

Jeremy was wide-open for an easy layup...Harden instead turned it over.

Jeremy let him know about afterward.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Absolutely. So blatantly obvious.

      Delete
    2. When the coach disrespects a player, what did u think would happen.

      Delete
    3. I think he was pissed off at Lin for not passing him the ball several times he ran towards the front. He even yelled and directed Lin to run to the other corner of the 3 point line. It's his way to pay back Lin.

      Delete
    4. That's just a conspiracy theory, but I think Harden and Lin gets along. There is no disrespect from Harden. He knows he needs Lin to win. It's up the to coaches to put Lin in with Harden.

      Delete
    5. The difference is that Harden wasn't open. He was being overplayed to deny him the ball. Jeremy was right there for the easy bucket and Harden would have gotten an assist, too.

      Delete
  42. Harden got his shot blocked holding onto the ball too long and then Beverly gave up the shot to the GSW player.

    ReplyDelete
  43. This is crazy offense to start ISO Harden so early with his hobbling knee.

Let's get ready to turn off TV here.

    ReplyDelete
  44. lin is doing allright, parson is doing allright, harden is doing horrble and yet coaches still put him in, it almost seems like they are trying to wear harden out LOL

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Harden would be benched too, but he gets the one thing that no other Rocket gets:

      superstar foul calls.

      Delete
  45. I just don't get why the 2nd team is brought in to finish the quarter.

Anyway, Bev is in. He'll play at least until 6 min mark of 2nd quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Haha I'm sry, I just laugh when he turn it over

    ReplyDelete
  47. Lin looking for his shot. Have to say even though he is getting less minutes Lin is looking like the old Lin more.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Team is just falling apart.

They forgot that this is teamball. McHale treating people like sh*t is paying negative dividends.

    Idiot coach.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Warriors is gonna return the favor this game. Don't see how Robinson is fifth pick overall, no offense and turnover machine

    1. Great trade by Rockets, replacing PP with another butter finger...

      Delete
  50. Someone please watch because I can't. It's too painful to watch McFail suck the life out of Lin at each game.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Rockets will be one of the best simply by replacing the moron coaching staff

    ReplyDelete
  52. Let see what PB is going to do? Trob looked lost on the court.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Looks like energy has been sucked out Jlin.. never see him like this before..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Oh, he's got energy.

      He doesn't have openings though.

Golden State has done a good job game planning against Lin.

    2. Khuang something is not right here ..

      Delete
  54. McHale is right. Made bad shots... That selfish comment at harden?

    ReplyDelete
  55. McHale in the interview complains about flow but takes Lin out of the game. Hah.

    Btw, I love JVG.

    ReplyDelete
  56. McHale comment -> "were playing to selfish gotta move the ball"

Move to where? At some point somebodies gotta shoot.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Move the ball to Harden!

I actually believe the selfish comment refers to Lin, not Harden. Otherwise why took Lin out and keep Harden inbm?

      Delete
    2. Cara,
That has always been the substitution pattern. He leaves Harden in because Harden is the main star and he deserves star minutes.

      Delete
  57. McHell: We're playing selfishly.

    Announcer: McHell's telling the truth.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Mchale looked mad earlier, and he would be furious now

    ReplyDelete
  59. Even GSW announcers said Beverly is a very good defensive player and that is why he has been in to finish up the games. Whatever, dumb homer GSW announcers.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thats just prewritten comments that anouncers are supposed to make.

      Delete
  60. McHale: "Too selfish, too much 1-on-1"

I'm thinking he meant Lin more than Harden.

Well folks, get ready for Lin sighting with 3 min left in 2Q.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. His new nick should be McBail. He is looking for Harden and Beverly to bail him out.

      Delete
  61. These aren't GSW announcers. It's ESPN. And don't dis JVG!

Whether you think Bev is better defender or not, he definitely applies more ball pressure than Lin does.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin doesn't need to get in people's faces because he's got the reach, speed, and hops to contest opponents in a way Patrick Beverley never will have.

      Delete
    2. It isn't JVG. I would recognize his voice if it was him.

      Delete
    3. I don't think Bev is the better defender, but JVG said that Bev applies more pressure on the ball, which is true. I was responding to John Ly's comment.

      Delete
    4. Yes KHuang but some people prefer flashy moves :)

      Delete
    5. The guy who made the comment is Dave Passion.

      Delete
    6. Beverley is a superior traffic cop than Lin.

He keeps the flow going - for opponents!

      Delete
  62. McHale's experiment to play TRob with the starters failed miserably!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Lin today is actually following McHale's "Harden iso/Lin standing in corner" gameplan, that's why he gets more 1st quarter minutes than usual lol.

When Lin played his own style and actually scored a lot, he usually got benched quick.

McHale wanted Lin to play Beverley's "0 point, 7 assists, pass to Harden past half court, concentrate on D" style of game and he got what he wanted.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Did this team come to play? Holy cow they look aweful

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. they way they are playing now... i wouldnt be surprised if we loose by 20!

      Delete
  65. This is where the Rockets need some halfcourt offensive sets with designated shooters.

Golden State is jamming the perimeter against Lin and the paint against Harden.

McHale's rinky dink offensive motion system is currently being steered around by Golden State's defense.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Definitely missing PPat's midrange and spot-up 3PT gunners.

McHale's experiment with the lineup will lose this game.

      Delete
    2. I agree when the team is in disarray, they need to go back to their roots - some type of a structure to fall back on. Rox don't have that.

      Delete
  66. They are getting their butts kicked... what is going on?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Smart Golden State defense, that's what's going on.

McHale, being clueless about coaching defense, cannot figure out what adjustments to make.

      Delete
    2. I couldn't agree more.. Lets see how they come out in the second half

      Delete
    3. McHale's "adjustment" is to randomly sub in players until finding an unit who happens to hit 3s.

      Delete
  67. If Rockets lose tonight it will be alright because Utah lost today. Hopefully Lakers lose too but I doubt that will happen....

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Rox gotta stop worrying about other teams and just try to win these winnable games.

      Delete
  68. Curry vs Beverley this is gunna get interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  69. GSW look like they are wearing their throw-up jerseys. What was wrong with their old jersey?

    ReplyDelete

    1. willy, the old one was not blinding enough for the Rockets :D

      This one works just fine.

      Delete
    2. rofl :) reminds me of rugby jersey :)

      Delete
    3. LOL

      [Adidas tryin to make $...]

      Delete
  70. Beverly's defense is different from Lin in that he plays off the defender more and not looking to help out as much. Lin likes to gamble and leave his man to help out and try to play the passing lane.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Beverley doesn't have Lin's court sense or athleticism, so he neither can anticipate opponent moves nor physically recover when they make them.

It doesn't actually matter if Beverley is guarding his man tightly or not. With his slow reflexes, he's a liability whether he's trying to stick to one guy or multiple guys.

      Delete
    2. I think people believes he is a great defender because he is so herky jerky. He flails his arms and his feet is moving and thus he gives the perception that he is hawking the ball. Lin on several of his last game has his hands on the ball several times but was not able to strip the ball. Lin is very good at tracking the ball too. I think better than Beverly.

      Delete
    3. Beverley doesn't fool me or anybody on this board.

You can go right at him, around him, through him, or with him. HE CANNOT GET STOPS.

      Delete
  71. Hahahaah, Harden asking McBail for permission to enter the game and McBail nods and Harden is in the game again.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. McHale thought bubble:

"Maybe Harden can superstar his way onto the foul line because he is being a selfish ball hog and I'd prefer to bench him".

      Delete
  72. Huh oh.. Curry will be going on a scoring spree !

    ReplyDelete
  73. Rox with only 28 points.. Yup gsw came to play some d tonite.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Delfino is bricking it up tonight. Most of his shots are clanging off the back rim. He is shooting the ball too hard.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Replies
    1. And Bev with a Bev impression. Heat seeking missile without the heat seeking.

      Delete
  76. Bev didn't pick up Curry in transition until he got to the paint. smh.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Lol curry roasting Delsuck and Beverley

    ReplyDelete
  78. Curry just drove on Beverly and scored. Great defense Beverly!

    ReplyDelete
  79. It's obvious. Harden is ice cold and not getting calls on the road so Golden State can cheat on Lin off the pick and roll.

    ReplyDelete
  80. This is when the ugliness of 3-ball is exposed.

HOU missed threes are followed by GSW quick transition points.

15+ pts loss easily when Harden not making his threes.

    ReplyDelete
  81. McFail is an idiot...his team always loses to the second game after winning the first game by a big margin. same players either side....must be coach!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Time to use AB? Need firepower badly...

    ReplyDelete
  83. They can't shoot, they can't grab rebounds and there is no D. And now they bring Harden back on court. What the hell is going on?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. McHale ERRONEOUSLY thinks that James Harden can get superstar foul calls.

McHale hates Harden's game right now, but Harden sometimes can get those calls.

      Delete
  84. Lin cannot effectively PnR with Robinson or Asik. Opposing teams can just ignore Robinson and Asik and double Lin. PnR is best with DMo.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Every opponent against the Rockets needs to do what Golden State is doing this game:

    1) Jam Lin in the midrange, not the perimeter
    2) Jam Harden with a staggered trap featuring a defender up high and a stationary defender down low.

Stop the Hardliners and you stop the Rockets. It's a very simple and easily executable game plan, but NBA coaches are DENSE.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Wait till the playoffs... Is McHale smart enuff to make adjustments?

    3. NO, McHale is not smart enough to make adjustments.

He's a great developmental coach and a lousy in game coach.

  86. Lin's bad bump on Curry's 3PT shot

  87. Wow wtf is Lin doing. Dumb bump for 3, Curry is like THANKS!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Harden asking for the ball at the top of the key.. we're back in December.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Harden almost got trapped but got bailed out with a foul call.

    1. yep.. guard curry and stand in the corner..

  91. Lol no one came to bail out Harden. Mutiny?

    ReplyDelete
  92. Curry is blowing past Lin with ease.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Have you all noticed? Harden seldom passes to Lin, even if Jlin is free, he is always looking for others to pass...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. And, Harden is waving at Lin for the ball all the time with no off ball movement.

      Delete
    2. Thats how it works. You gotta waive to get the balL :)

      Delete
  94. JVG and Dave debating whether Curry was passing or shooting. It looks clearly like Curry was trying for a floater and missed. The scorer's table gave the assist to Curry. Lin doesn't get the benefit of the scorer's table even when he is at home.

    ReplyDelete
  95. LOL JVG questioning how much Curry paid off the scorer's home table to make Curry's bad floater as an assist!

    ReplyDelete
  96. How come when Lin deflects the ball for a TO, he doesn't get the steal, but when Harden gets a deflection and Lin picks the ball up, yet Harden still gets the steal.

    1. Lin is too deceptively quick for the scorekeepers to track accurately.

    1. Mark Jackson is really coaching up the defense.

He wants GS to maintain the defensive pressure.

I don't think GS can. I wrote that above.

Houston is starting to get the hang of GS's traps. Once Asik and the big men learn that plowing right into those traps to call for the ball is NOT SMART, Houston will come alive.

      Delete
  98. I'm going to give the Rockets some credit -

    They're ACTUALLY DEFENDING!

Even though they're still getting all crossed up because McHale refuses to coach defense, at least they're getting after people and trying to contest shots while Lin is on the court.

  104. This is a nationally-televised game. I want to see Lin really ball tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  105. Lin only got 1 assist tonight and Harden got 7 assists already.
