I put the link in thread for some of the newer Lin fans who only saw his fantastic play during Linsanity 1.0 and assume he always played that way and is capable of playing like that every day.
Linsanity 2.0 will, hopefully, look very different than Linsanity 1.0.
Much more like Chris Paul (elite passer and field general who controls flow of game) or Tony Parker, rather than what we all saw early on with the Knicks last year.
Nice to know he is capable of those types of offensive outbursts, but don't think it is realistic to expect that from him every night over a full NBA regular and post season.
Since the previous pre game thread is too old.... and you said:
"Blow outs are always boring...... It was a boring 13pts, 6 assist, 25 min night for Lin. Watching chess could also be as exciting as watching snow melt....but only to the uninitiated." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Are you kidding? Men playing chess is real ugly to watch..... Watching snow melt and babbling it's way to a stream surrounded by pebbles, then trees, while Yellow Bells nod in the wind from the side.... Ahhhhhh, it's heaven.
Go Jeremy! we are your fans because of your tenacity on court and laidback personality off court. you're not just a marketing tool.yeah NBA is a business but still positive that sooner a team will go after you because of your basketball skills, the marketability only a fraction of a reason.
Lin just took a charge when the Wolves were on 3 on 1 break, after Harden's TO. But Harden had back to back 3's. What a confident shooter Harden is, wow!
Oh Oh..... Revenge of the Rick the coach, who had to quit the dysfunctional Rockets front office, who told him to mentor a replacement before his gig was up. Adelman would have been better coach than McHell. McHell is war maker, while Adelman is a peace maker (in the locker room) - because, honestly, what coach is like McHell, when it comes to mistreating a player (Lin) - not for berating for plays, but for showing all the fans and young Rockets that he doesn't trust one of the starters (Lin) from the get go.
59 percent shooting by wolfs, only average team plays their game down to their lowly opponents, hate when this happen again and again! Don't their learn from their first loss to the Suns? Protect home court for god sakes
They keep feeding the ball to Harden who is playing with a sore foot and is ineffective on offense and defense. Coach has no backbone to sit Harden down.
note to McHale - it took D'Antoni around 11 minutes to identify that Kobe is ineffective vs Pacers.sat him down and brought out Meeks. I think it will take you more than 40 minutes to identify that Harden is ineffective vs Wolves.
This loss is on McHale for digging the hole with the ridiculous lineup, and letting Harden initiate defense while he obviously is not playing well tonight and not subbing in Lin until 5 min left in 2nd quarter. McHale is a fool, and Harden is a loser with that defense.
When the team is behind, players take risks and make stupid mistakes like the reach-in by Delfino. Risks that fail means an even deeper hole. Can't entirely blame players for taking some risks if they are way down, but McHale is the guy who dug them that hole.
At some point, it's Lin's fault for passing it to him. You don't do the same shit expecting a new result. Lin should shoot it himself when he gets that close to the bucket.

Thanks... definitely must read!

Ricky Rubio is averaging a 9 points and 7 assists and he is considered a star????
ReplyDeleteGive him some credit he got his triple double 2 games back vs san antonio for a blow out win.
Deletewell he had a triple double vs Spurs - 21 pts,13 reb, 12 assists so he's already being considered for MVP...lol
Deleteno Tony Parker either.

ReplyDeleteDMo needs to dunk that. Lin had a great, aggressive finisher in Tyson Chandler. Now he's cursed with butter hands Asik and soft Euro DMo.
ReplyDeleteHar_en missing a wide open Chandler. WTF is wrong with him?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteLin has the franchise high 3 for rox.

DeleteHarden's man always goes off. No accountability.
ReplyDeleteThe announcer (Worrel?) actually called him out on losing Ridnour to be the reason for the TO.
DeleteOne of the few things announcers called him out.
it wasn't worrell (he rides his dick), it was ballard.
DeleteHarden needs to sit he is ineffective
ReplyDeleteanother record for Jeremy? leading the league for bleeding "something"..
ReplyDeleteNot looking good
ReplyDeleteThose wolves bastards are playing the light out at the wrong time. A time for another fruitful time out to turn things around.
Deleteparsons' atrocious dribbling.
ReplyDeleteParsons in transition is just garbage. He needs to give the ball up to Lin.
DeleteRox look.... sloppy
ReplyDeleteGreg Smith lost his man on D as usual
ReplyDeleteTwice in a row
DeleteWow rub owned by lin
ReplyDeletelin...the only rocket back again...
ReplyDelete3-1 Lin takes a charge!
ReplyDeletestupid play by wolves, LOL
ReplyDeleteLin owning on defense
ReplyDeletehe's doing great.
DeleteWorrel must have grown to like Lin or he just watched Linsanity moview :D
ReplyDelete"Lin drew the offensive charge on Ridnour. Lin was the only one back! (on D)"
What is that TO caused by Harden?
ReplyDeleteWhy Rox plays no D except Lin and asik? So sick people call harden superstar when literally any player can run by him
ReplyDeleteWow once again hero ball for last shot
ReplyDeletedoes finch not draw up plays?
DeleteI think its harden's choice.
Deletethey're sticking to the rotation although Harden just didn't have his legs since yesterday.
DeleteThey should rest Harden a lot longer. His legs look like jelly now!
Rockets' D in 1Q was atrocious, especially by G.Smith and Harden.
ReplyDeleteIf Lin didn't get the steal and offensive charge, they could be behind by 4 more points.
Is harden's knee still messed up?
ReplyDeleteI don't think so, harden just doesn't know what to do sometimes on the court . It's strange
DeleteI do think he's not himself lately.
DeleteThey definitely overutilized him with 40/min game.
Yes he seems not effective at all
Deleteplaying 40 min can take a toll on your knees and ankles
Delete59 percent shooting by wolfs, only average team plays their game down to their lowly opponents, hate when this happen again and again! Don't their learn from their first loss to the Suns? Protect home court for god sakes
ReplyDeleteGarcia sucks.
ReplyDeleteHe thinks he's a PnR maestro. Across these games, he keeps asking for a screen and the result is hideous.
It is the game plan by mchale
DeleteAnderson should be in for Garcia. He can actually create his own shot, and is much more multi-faceted than Garcia who can only spot up.
ReplyDeleteWolves abusing Rockets sloppy ball handling and questionable defense
ReplyDeleteLin out? What does McHale trying to do .. Lose this game?
ReplyDeleteNo Lin
ReplyDeleteFuck you Mchale
ReplyDeletethere are no true starters on this team except for Harden and Parsons (except for the last couple games).
ReplyDeleteWhere is Jeremy?
ReplyDeleteHarden looks hurt. Bev is playing like crap. This is a game where McHale could use Lin more instead of playing the usual minutes. Moron.
ReplyDeleteAgainst a bad team, I hope it doesn't come down to that.
DeleteGod i hate Rubio that racist prickl
ReplyDeleteMcHale needs to see Harden's face on Yahoo Sports "Top Performers" that's why no Lin.
ReplyDeleteanother turnover by Harden...
ReplyDeletewe're gonna lose this game.
ReplyDeleteHarden is off tonight/looks hurt.
McHale likes to play uphill. I think he likes the challenge.
ReplyDeleteRockets is playing with fire, testing their 2nd team and letting gimpy no-D Harden to play without Lin.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Wolves is getting the momentum just like the Suns did in Phoenix.
oh Lin is back now
DeleteThe Rockets doing a good job making The Wolves guards looked like Tony Allen and their bigs looked like Marc Gasol
ReplyDeleteHarden is really hurting this team.
ReplyDeleteNice connection, Lin and Delfino.
ReplyDeleteLol wow rox is playing like garbage.
ReplyDeleteLeague lowest in 3s are killing them with 3s.
Rubio ice-skated his way out :D
ReplyDeleteHarden playing great matador defense ole!
ReplyDeleteGod, I hate Berea.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I hate Harden's defense.
ReplyDeleteHow can he let little Luke Ridnour light him up???
Ugly pass by Lin. He is passing up open shots and the Wolves are packing the paint.
ReplyDeleteAnnouncers kept saying Rockets got no energy tonight? I don't get it after they get a day to rest up?
ReplyDeleteHarden is singlehandedly blowing the game. Awful TOs and doubly awful defense.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, McHale benches Lin for 7 minutes even though he's hot tonight. He does everything in his power to cool him off.
I agree his lethargy is taking everyone out if rhythm.
DeleteHe prolly told coach that he can play. If he is hurt he should just sit.
Deleteanother blowout by Wolves, same as earlier vs Spurs? hmm....
ReplyDeleteLin coaching during time out while Mchale watches.. Lol
ReplyDeleteCoach Lin again
ReplyDeleteCome on man! Don't lose to this team.omg!
ReplyDeleteLin looked very vocal during timeout. Perhaps the Rockets will wake up.
ReplyDeletemaybe that's why McHale is benching Jeremy?
Delete"You're taking MY job! sit down!"
yup :D
DeleteLin's playing well tonight, why don't they let him initiate more?
ReplyDeleteGod I begin to hate the rockets, where's that trade for Lin.
ReplyDeleteWow garbage...lol at home too. 12 tos
ReplyDeleteRox obviously don't want a playoff spot. Wtf have they been doing yesterday they are choking hard today.
They keep feeding the ball to Harden who is playing with a sore foot and is ineffective on offense and defense. Coach has no backbone to sit Harden down.
ReplyDeleteThe Rockets are just giving this game away...
ReplyDeleteI just had my dinner and I am now getting indigestion...
Lol lin.
ReplyDeleteWtf
ReplyDeletewe always suck against them.
ReplyDeleteThis is hirrifuc
ReplyDeletenote to McHale - it took D'Antoni around 11 minutes to identify that Kobe is ineffective vs Pacers.sat him down and brought out Meeks. I think it will take you more than 40 minutes to identify that Harden is ineffective vs Wolves.
ReplyDeleteLol wow down the drain we go. Nice bailout by dmo. 14 tos. 18pt lead.
ReplyDeletePls sit harden fark.
Looks like a d league team... Wow pathetic..
ReplyDelete15to in first half is this a league record?
ReplyDeleteHarden needs to sit period. He is hurting this team. Just sit dude.
ReplyDeleteA Well coached Minnesota team vs. No Coach McFail.... FAIL !
ReplyDeleteMore TOs than FTs. Wow.
ReplyDeleteYOU DAMN IDIOT MCHALE
ReplyDeleteSTOP BENCHING LIN FOR HUGE STRETCHES
YOU DAMN IDIOT MCHALE
STOP BENCHING LIN FOR HUGE STRETCHES
YOU DAMN IDIOT MCHALE
STOP BENCHING LIN FOR HUGE STRETCHES
YOU DAMN IDIOT MCHALE
STOP BENCHING LIN FOR HUGE STRETCHES
Great defense by Lin
ReplyDeleteGreat everything by Lin.
DeleteHe has two bad TOs and four easy assists that his teammates screwed up.
And he hardly touched the ball in the 2nd quarter.
Rockets could be winning if McHale didn't bench Jeremy for so long. He probably screamed at him for scoring and not feeding Harden enough.
If McHale wants to win .. Give Liin harden minutes in the second half. The less harden plays the more effective he will be. He is clearly hurt.
ReplyDeleteThis is the worst this team has looked in a long time. Wow
That was such a horrible 1st half by Houston.
ReplyDeleteEveryone had uncharacteristic TOs (Harden got stripped by Ridnour, Lin threw high passes, DMo stepping out of bound).
There was no focus at all trying to beat lowly Wolves.
Jeremy starts hot... Parsons starts hot... both cold now... explanation for Jeremy is that he had to SIT for 7 minutes...
ReplyDeleteAnd the offense ran through Harden and the ball got sticky.
DeleteMcHale needs to let Lin be the PG when Harden is not passing the ball well.
is the Rockets coaching team underestimating the Wolves?
ReplyDeleteI can't take this no more.
ReplyDeleteI am going back to the kitchden and do the dishes... at least the wife will be happy.
good idea! I did the same plus asking my boys to put the dishes away and I feel much better :D
DeleteLin is outplaying Rubio, but it doesn't matter because Greg Stiemsma is dominating Asik.
ReplyDeletewow I love this halftime analysis - it all starts with the COACHES
ReplyDeleteYup was listening to the same thing. Build a system. Make your players accountable. Practice defense not just talk about it.
DeleteI have never heard NBA TV analyst Steve Smith praise JLin...
DeleteThis loss is on McHale for digging the hole with the ridiculous lineup, and letting Harden initiate defense while he obviously is not playing well tonight and not subbing in Lin until 5 min left in 2nd quarter. McHale is a fool, and Harden is a loser with that defense.

ReplyDeleteDAMN IT ASIK.
ReplyDeleteHe's singlehandedly cost Jeremy FOUR ASSISTS ALREADY.
At some point, it's Lin's fault for passing it to him. You don't do the same shit expecting a new result. Lin should shoot it himself when he gets that close to the bucket.

ReplyDeleteLin got robbed again.
