    1. Can u make it clear JT? 32 mins on the court and not off the court, right? Lol

      Delete
    2. LOL! Yes, >32min on court, and best I'd hope for is USG as pg as someone aptly put in pre-game.

      Delete
  2. Just wishing and praying Rockets have a good game and get a win...Just wanna see jeremy play PG and play substantial minutes...have a nice time watching guys

  3. This might seem selfish BUT I need Jeremy to go Linsanity tonight. Please Lin, play with all your heart tonight. Last day of fantasy season and its all down to basically this game.

    2. Jaja, I'm a huge Lin fan so that would be double celebration! He is being aggressive I hope he keeps this the whole game. To have a big double double with a couple of rebounds and steals :D

  4. Did you all see McDuck winking at Lin?

    ReplyDelete

    1. I'll look for it on LP later.

      Delete
    2. What's the wink supposed to mean? Like, don't be deceived, you are playing in first but soon will be out, see ya in 3rd and goodluck in 4th.

      Delete
    3. Hopefully it's a good wink.

      Delete
    4. wink to telling jlin not to worry about his mcchickens, I supposed.

      Delete
    5. In the beginning if the game ? Yeah.

      Delete
    6. At half, that wink might mean "you go, man, I got myself in hot water!" Thanks for time stamp, geronimo. I'll look for it.

  5. NIce wait, up by Asik, and1. He's being coached.

  6. DMo with ambition, doesn't want to give it back to Lin, misses. It's ok, to establish his game role.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Lol harden no def already was both 3s scored on him?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Ohoh homerun pass that scored lin might get pulled

    ReplyDelete
  9. Gee ... smart people have said DMo-Lin!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Lin is taking advantage of the little man. Beast mode, LOL!!!

  11. Peeps reading this later should watch this Q ... nice nice. Will he play >32min ? Sorry we have to ask.

    1. McHale must be panicking now.

      Delete
  13. Haha, Lin got his "______ than he looks" from the announcers. They just said he's stronger than he looks.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Mchale: Oh No! Jeremy is getting hot right now. I better take him out right away.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sshhhuuusshh.....let's not hope for it

      Delete
    2. Mchale will never let Lin finish a whole quarter.

      Delete
  15. Let's see of Jeremy is rewarded with more minutes.. Oh spoke too fast.. Bev coming in

    ReplyDelete
  16. Ridiculous Lin patience, team swing to wide open Del, miss. That was a good one.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Jeremy is heating up...

...and McHale benches him right on schedule.

Can't have Jeremy succeeding, that's the absolute last thing McHale wants.

    ReplyDelete
  18. One thing I have noticed is Jeremy rebound total has gone down. He has always been good rb pg. that is another thing McHake has taken away from Jeremy.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. you can't get rebounds when coach makes you camp at the 3pt line.

      Delete
    2. That I don't mind too much. Guards rebounding is very overrated...much more important to get back on D. Steals have become underrated...rebounds are overrated.

      Delete
  19. if Beverley makes a 3ptr, Lin's never coming back in the game.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Flame shields to who gets it right when Lin is back. I'd say 4 mins in to 2Q.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 9 mins with 8 points 4 asst, pretty dang good.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Why can't McHale just let Lin finish the quarter? It's not like he is not well rested!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ditto Solidz75. I don't understand the logic behind that. BTW, I think I saw that Rockets signed Aaron Brooks.

      Delete
    2. He has to cool off Jeremy's stats. It's important to McHale that Jeremy "know his place" and defer to Harden.

Morey also supports this because Harden having superstar stats could help attract an elite PF like Love of Aldridge. And Harden won't have superstar stats like Kobe if Jeremy is allowed to play his role and primary ballhandler.

Not a good plan (it's a better plan to WIN), but it makes some sense in today's 100% ego-driven NBA.

      Delete
    3. It's because in the back of his jersey it says "Lin" and not "Beverley," "Douglas," or "mini-me/Bieber"

      Delete
  23. Replies
    1. Good follow dunk, but then was that him on TO?

      Delete
  24. Lin's 1st Q stats almost looks exactly as last game's, and we all know what happened..i just hope this is not dejavu..i'll stay positive, lin will be back in Q2

    ReplyDelete
  25. Bev with 'wild shot' air ball ...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Why are Harden and Parsons playing so much no matter what? What is the point of putting in Delfino and playing all these 3 together so at least one of them has to play out of position?

    ReplyDelete
  27. -7, time for Lin please

    ReplyDelete
  28. How does bev gets to lead this offense when both Lin and harden are out. Jeremy never gets such respect.!

    ReplyDelete
  29. If Lin plays 38+ min today I guarantee we win.

    ReplyDelete
  30. This second unit looks like they are playing a practice game

    ReplyDelete
  31. Lin is like WTF do I have to do?!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Garcia 2 = 3s. Bev 0 for 3. Poor D.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Update, Garcia 4/4, 2 FG and 2 3s.
      Bad team D.

      Delete
  33. McHale must be resting Lin for the second half.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It looks like he's coming back in the game.

      Delete
  34. Houston totally helpless without Jeremy.

    McHale's boy Beverly getting exposed.

    ReplyDelete
  35. get used to Jlin warming the bench.. it's a disgrace Jlin's playing time is dictated by how PBev is playing.. total disrespect !

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But Bev is playing poorly ... it's just bias.

      Delete
    2. Nice Lin in, 4th min in.

      Delete
    3. Beverley is playing poorly now, but what is the chance of him getting hot in the 4th and playing all the way?

      Delete
    4. Beverley will still get his minutes.

      Delete
  36. @KHuang, if you are reading, Garcia is proving himself!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Watch McHale berate Lin for Asik not being able to dunk a ball off a gorgeous pass or his teammates unable to dribble a ball.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Jeremy is gonna get yelled at for that alley oop. McHale is livid for that hr play.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. yep.. Jlin will go back into his shell again..

      Delete
  39. jeremy making dmo look good! dmo's a much better offensive ball handler than asik.

    ReplyDelete
  40. NOW WHAT MCHALE???

EAT IT, MORON. JEREMY IS BEASTING despite your idiotic attempts to keep him down.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Solidz75 Lin may fulfill your wish tonight. 38 minutes baby!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. yes....... lin going for 30..... yes!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. This is what Jeremy had to do. Play his game. Look for his shots. Do the alley oops. Just dare McHale to shoot him.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, not really.

The only reason he's allowed to score and play is because Beverly sucked hard.

If Beverly plays well, it doesn't matter what Jeremy does. He will be benched even if he's on pace for 30 pts like the Orlando game.

      Delete
  44. Jeremy is grooving. 5 pts straight!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Lin ... 7 for 9, 15 pts, 5 assists, 1 TO. He needs to keep it up and get more TOs :-)

    ReplyDelete
  46. Lin -> DMo -> Bam!
    Lin -> 3pt -> Bam!
    Lin -> 2pt -> Bam!
    Lin -> steallllll!

I tuned in shortly before Lin got benched and he looked really good. Hes just awesome! 2nd with 4 minutes left. Lin -> 15pts + 5 assists!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Hope Jeremy can stay hot in the second half.

    ReplyDelete
  48. J has 15 pts and 5 assists? He is playing craaazy tonight.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He has good friends telling him what you all are writing here :-)

      Delete
  49. McHale will still try to bench him all 4th quarter.

He really doesn't want Jeremy to succeed. If Jeremy plays aggressive today and all month...McHale will reduce his playing time.

So sad to see an All-Star talent treated like trash because of skin color. I just hope McHale gets canned in the offseason...or at least disciplined like the low IQ punk he is.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah, sadly Lin is gonna get benched or reduced his touches in the 2nd half because Harden needs to get his shots and McHale won't let Lin a role player outscore his homerun hitters Harden and Parsons.

      Delete
    2. Jeremy what are you doing? we are trying to win here!

      Delete
  50. Please let Jeremy finish the quarter. He's hot.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He will. I don't want to disappear yet.

      Delete
    2. Good things happen when the ball is Lin's hands.

    3. Geronimo
lol...you stay and have fun..i am disappearing cuz i gotta be up early tmrw.i have a feeling this trend will continue, jeremy will get his mins in 3rd and 4th and rockets will win a close game..did i make too many predictions there?i am just staying positive, i'll prove myself right or wrong in the morning

      Delete
  51. Lin gets the TO from Dallas ... very nice game all those asking him to get aggressive. And he is key to 11-2 run.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Coach Carlisle and Cuban-call Morey and ask for Lin in the season please.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. In the off season

      Delete
    2. Karl and Carlisle will be begging their GMs to sign Lin if Houston doesn't want him.

The problem? Les is too smart...he knows even Derek Fisher Lin is better than 90% of the PGs in the league.

      Delete
    3. At the end of this contact, he is an unrestricted agent. He can go where ever he wants. Houston has his bird rights or whoever trades for him during this contact will get his bird rights. The advantage of having bird rights is that they can go over the cap without being penalized. They still have to pay luxury tax.

Please use this as an audition for high IQ and competent coach Carlisle.

      Delete
  53. Lin +5 doing all the O work. Harden +7 just for being in on the minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Bieber with a feed from Lin for 2!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Jeremy is a one man wrecking crew tonight.

Now that Parsons isn't handling the ball, he looks great.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The wunderkind gets a technical! Well done Harden!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Haha, now Lin is safer because McHale's boy Parsons has out scored Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  58. at this rate, Lin's going to get 0 minutes in the 4th quarter

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. With McHale you never know. Maybe hes not gonna play 3rd as well :)

    2. Lin with 17pts & 7assists at half. got to sit him so harden so pad his stats.

      Delete
  59. Replies
    1. Just got on. How do you split that up by quarter?

      Delete
    2. I BELIEVE Lin had 10 in 1st and 7 in 2nd. Not sure though.

      Delete
    3. Koo Danks! Just asking cuz I hope the trend where he has a good Q1 but a bad Q2-Q3-Q4 stops.

      Delete
    4. Q1 was something like 8 pts, 4 assists.

      Delete
    5. About right, willydilly. Less than 10, more than 8 in 2nd for just under 18 min so far.

      Delete
    6. I believe 8pts/4asts in 1Q so he stayed aggressive in 2Q. Good sign!

      Delete
    7. He had 8 and 5 then 9 and 2, if my memory serves me right..

      Delete
    8. crazyhorse posted at Q1 ... 8/4, 9mins.

      Delete
  60. So close on that last 3! He's even missing pretty, though. That was in-and-out like a Novak miss, lol.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yep - in and out. Hmmm - getting hungry...

      Delete
    2. BTW, I really APPLAUD HARDEN for not being selfish anymore. He's really giving the ball up regularly in big spots -- even when he's hot.

Jeremy has won James over. But McHale remains unconviced.

Please, Les, I know McHale had a terrible personal tragedy this year, but he's ruining the careers of several young men, including Jeremy. And that's not fair. Let him go quietly in the offseason and sign Dave Blatt or Stan Van Gundy.

A REAL coach who knows what he's doing and judges based on performance.

      Delete
    3. it was a good miss..don't raise our hope up just yet .. Jlin will be benched and his fire will be put out again..

      Delete
  61. I wonder what McHale will say to Lin during half time. Jer tone it down. U gotta give the ball to harden. We are trying to win!

On a serious note, whatever garbage McHale says to break Jeremy's spirits, Jeremy plays just like he did the first half.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. McHale: "Now you look a bit more like Beverley, Lin!"

      Delete
    2. Probably blame Lin for missing that 3 pointer and blame Lin shooting more than Harden?!

McHale: Only up by 3 points, big deal. If the offense is run through Harden, we would be blowing out the Mavs. Let's do it in the 2nd half.

      Delete
    3. Jeremy : get out of my face u joke of a coach. I'm gonna play my game .. Not gonna give in to your attempts to bring me down. I dare u to sit me.

      Delete
  62. Sigh! Couldn't make the wide open buzzer beat, parson 7/7 fg very nice.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Jeremy gonna get dinged for that.

      Delete
    2. And just 1 TO, that's very important.

      Delete
    3. Parsons is utter trash when he tries to be a playmaker.

Parsons is a star when he just cuts and shoots off the catch.

      Delete
    4. @zxvb:

McHale slauthered a chicken and rolled the dice this morning. Dice told him to reverse Lins and Parsons roles.

      Delete
  63. well, Lin missed the last trey and he looked too disappointed. Just try again until McHale takes out!

    Got to stay aggressive, Jeremy!

    ReplyDelete
  64. First half joy:
    - Garcia 100% for 8pts, 3 fouls
    - Lin you know
    - Parsons v good on ball when he can see the halfcourt run
    - Bev showed coach is wrong, though I like Bev
    - DMo preetty preetty good
    - Del ... argh!
    - Harden will step it up.

Fingers crossed for a coached 2nd half. Team is doing great. No Del or Bev reliance, please.

    1. "Lin you know"

Come on - you sound just like McHale during press conference :)

      Delete
    2. Ouch! just trying not to overpost or be smarter than everybody :-) But yeah, I def don't want to sound like McHale.

      Delete
  65. Jeremy's stats 17 pts 7 assts... 17 and 7, his former and present numbers...may mean J would have linsanity in houston tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Lin needs to keep playing like this in the second half. With all his heart. Plus I need him on fantasy, and he is just having an amazing game. A must watch!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Uh oh Jeremy has the most number of Fga t1st half. I really think he is playing with eff I McHale attitude!

    1. Last game, when Lin was iced out of the game, it was about 8 harden and 7 Lin in scoring when I noticed a long bench.

      Delete
    2. That was terrific! I really thought the last 3 would go in! sigh...

      Delete
    3. Harden is giving up the ball and letting him facilitate tonight (vs. what he started doing in second quarter of Orlando game, going into hero ball mode and trying to play point guard and shooting guard).

IIRC, Collison couldn't guard Lin when he was with Knicks last year (http://www.ibtimes.com/jeremy-lin-knicks-beat-indiana-pacers-second-straight-win-video-highlights-426514), and he still can't do it.

I believe Lin came up big in fourth quarter and essentially closed out game for Knicks that night.

Hopefully James doesn't get jealous of Lin's success in first half, and do what he did in second quarter of Orlando game. Let Lin facilitate and wait patiently for Lin or someone else to pass him the ball after Lin has disrupted Maverick's set defense, and let Harden attack in quasi transition type situation.

Go Jeremy, go James, and go Rockets!!!!

      Delete
  68. Just started watching. Maybe I am not good luck for Lin. Whenever, I don't watch he completely dominates.

Went to Clips and OKC game today. Ibaka had a nasty hit on Griffin today. I would rather Houston play Clippers in playoffs. When they are off, they do not have any playmakers.
