Doesnt matter as long as he gives his best...jeremy cannot change his coache's view of him.. He can just perform to the best of his ability given any opprtunity...
Happy good friday! Despite how jeremy has been utilized and his playing time had gone down the past few games, i remain positive that jeremy will keep playing his best and not be discouraged by his circumstances.he is too strong of a person to succumb to failure. That's the jeremy i have come to know and support.Go jlin, you are a true warrior and a winner!!
Why the fuck McHale would you take Lim out with 2:13 left in Q1 when he was just starting to heat up? You should have replaced Harden with Beverly if you wanted to do anything you fuckingoron? Harden was doing nothing!' Yank him you fucker!!
When Bev shoots, part of me hopes he misses but at the same time I disdain this attitude ;-) So while internally I sometimes want him to miss, intellectually I wish him well. Just goes to show you: The mind should lead the heart.
If McHale really cared about Lin, he would keep Lin in longer so he can get his confidence back. McHake is THE REASON for Jeremy's inconsistent play. He just can't see all the good Jeremy brings to the floor.
Memphis has been in foul trouble with 8 min left in Q2 but Houston hasn't exploited it to draw more fouls and get FTs. Parsons got the right idea to attack inside but it's too late.
They need Asik with the starters to contain Gasol and Randolph.
Why can't McHale ride Jeremy when he's getting hot just like he does with Beverly. If you are gonna go with pg by committee, wouldn't that be logical?
Instead he sits him for 8 minutes.
Lin is playing like shit. Can hit a jump shot. Standing like a statue and no one passes him the ball. Afraid to drive the lane.. Wow, mission accomplished McHale.
Are we watching the same game? JLin is playing aggressively. He hit some shots. He didn't drive as much becuz the Grizzlies big guys pack the paint. And JLin isn't just standing in the corner. He's moving without the ball. Not his fault that he didn't receive passes.
Regarding McHale, do u really think he will change his ways? Lower your expectations. It is what it is. JLin will just have to put up respectable stats. At this point, I don't care if the Rockets lose or win.
McHale substitution pattern is too predictable... once again Harden iso last few mins and Lin entered with a little less than 6mins. So 2-3mins to make something happen.
Lin will start the second half with a couple of mistakes and get benched with 6mins left. Will not enter until 5min mark where he has one min to do something before iso-harden.
Lin and Harden are battling, but they're not enough.
This game isn't about Lin being marginalized or Harden being selfish. It's Memphis's expensive frontline TERRORIZING Houston's minimum wage frontcourters.
Let's go Jeremy. Lets go Memphis!
ReplyDeleteSolidz
DeletePlease try not to call jeremy a scrub, no matter how he plays tonight. As a fan, that is painful to hear..Please....TY
Highest chance he will be benched again.
ReplyDeleteDoesnt matter as long as he gives his best...jeremy cannot change his coache's view of him.. He can just perform to the best of his ability given any opprtunity...

ReplyDeletetraveling....
ReplyDeleteThey are daring Lin to shoot. He needs to take open shots.
ReplyDeleteBev time. Lin playing very hesitantly again.
ReplyDeleteJeremy passing up shots every possession. 2 TOs as a direct result.
ReplyDeleteBE MORE SELFISH.
Why would you want to force passes to Asik when you can take a shot, i.e., like Conley did?
DeleteFINALLY attacks once...FTs.
DeleteThat's how you do it, Jeremy. I don't know why he's scared to shoot these days. He's been Nash-like in the past 2 months %-wise
Missed a drive there, but it was a good shot. No TO...could have been a tip-in.
DeleteJust keep shooting, Jeremy. %s will average out.
Man, he seems tired and I just don't see the killer instinct I expected, especially after the last game. Really disappointing.
Delete2TO already.
ReplyDeleteLin out Beverley in
ReplyDeleteLin seems to be regressing rather than improving. Bev time coming up. Conley is playing much, much better and confidently.
ReplyDeleteYes and no. He was improving big time every month...until last week.
DeleteSince last week, he just hasn't been right.
that's what I meant. Agreed.
DeleteI wonder what happened. Did he get hurt somehow?
DeleteLin looks bad. Just going thru the motions. His lay ups never fall. No confidence. He's done.
ReplyDeletePass to asik is 80% to get a TO.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Lin will now play well after a steal and lay-up.
DeleteHm, Lin is still in with 5 min left.
ReplyDeleteI guess he didn't make enough silly TOs and was still aggressive enough going to the basket.
McHale is sleeping :)
DeleteGreat steal and easy layup by Lin!
ReplyDeleteHe will stay until 2 min left in Q1
He did well enough, so Mac cannot use 1st quarter as an excuse to sit Lin on bench now. I think he will get to play more than 30 minutes this game.
DeleteFinally a steal and a layup!
ReplyDeleteJeremy heatin' up!
ReplyDeleteShooting...attacking the rim (assist on a kick-out).
DeleteHe started to get that 'look'!
DeleteLin is heating up with long jumper!
ReplyDeleteWatch out!
damn u guys quick to judge, btw hes heating up.
ReplyDeleteThat steal boosted Lin's confidence. Harden not boxing out his man...boo.
ReplyDelete"Nooo Nooo, that wasn't a foul" Hahaha who heard that?
ReplyDeleteThat no is funny haha
DeleteDamn, TRob showed some athleticism there.
ReplyDeleteSurprise ! Lin can play that long for the 1st qty.
ReplyDeleteTRob just went DHoward there with the putback jam!!
ReplyDeleteT-Rob looks terrible...until he does something epic like that.
DeleteHe can be good for the Rockets...but not until next year. He needs time/practice/seasoning with McHale/Dawson.
Hahahhaha harden doesn't to shoot the ball
ReplyDeleteYou see no harden no problem .....!!!
I mean no harden iso all the time..
I think someone spoke to Mcgail! Hope Lin continue to play well this game and beyond, just be aggressive
ReplyDeleteLin with a slow start but thank God McHale letting him play through it.
ReplyDeleteYes be fucking patient McHale !!! .... And myself as well.
DeleteSolidZ, you are hilarious! Talking to yourself is healthy sometimes, it keeps us sane a out Lin's game
DeleteI spoke so soon..now Bev is playing through the whole 2Q. "sigh"
DeleteParsons got the hot hands with 11pts (3-4 3PT)
ReplyDeleteLin got 6pts.
Harden got 0 so far
And hes out...
ReplyDeleteLOL. What can you do? I actually blame Jeremy this time. He had it in him to BEAST on Memphis.
DeleteBut he came out UNSELFISH/STUPID again. He wasn't frozen out by teammates, he did it to himself.
Thankfully, he switched his approach mid-way.
Hello Mr. McHale. Shouldnt you be coaching your team?
DeleteI hope this is not another Harden-stat padding game.this should be Jeremy's comeback game
ReplyDeleteBev time again!ugh!
Deleteso far he behaved not forcing to shoot when double-teamed
DeletePeyton Manning is in the house for BeardSanity!
ReplyDeleteBev just made a failed homerun pass resulting in MEM 2 fastbreak pts!
ReplyDeleteMcHale, your favorite son has gone Linsanity!
Lin better start the beginning of 2nd. He should.
ReplyDeletelol air beverly
ReplyDeleteWe want Bev to play well for Hou to win. Let's root for Bev and Lin. With Lin attacks earlier, he will have a big game.
ReplyDeleteBeverley Bricksanity
ReplyDeletethis 2nd unit is bad....
ReplyDeleteWhy the fuck McHale would you take Lim out with 2:13 left in Q1 when he was just starting to heat up? You should have replaced Harden with Beverly if you wanted to do anything you fuckingoron? Harden was doing nothing!' Yank him you fucker!!
ReplyDeleteThe 2nd team is not looking good.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly Harden is on the bench resting.
So there will be no chance for Lin to play without ball dominant Harden
Deletelin not allowed to outshine hero ball
DeleteHarden and Parsons already on the sideline waiting to get in. Lin still sits
Deletelin was just starting to heat up
ReplyDeleteBev is not a back-up but a co-starter.
ReplyDeleteIt took you this long to figure that out?
DeleteLol, no Lin.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to think ill thoughts but good thing Bev is bricking.good for him!
ReplyDeleteWhen Bev shoots, part of me hopes he misses but at the same time I disdain this attitude ;-) So while internally I sometimes want him to miss, intellectually I wish him well. Just goes to show you: The mind should lead the heart.
Deletedoesn't matter, that doesn't change how mchale's intention
DeleteKevin McHale went out of his way to show that he was not happy with the foul on Asik, but certainly is happy that Lin still sits on the bench
ReplyDeleteIf McHale really cared about Lin, he would keep Lin in longer so he can get his confidence back. McHake is THE REASON for Jeremy's inconsistent play. He just can't see all the good Jeremy brings to the floor.
ReplyDeleteI can only hope things will get better for Lin.
DeleteI agree Solidz...but that's why you need to cut Lin some slack.
DeleteHis career is not "over" because he had a bad week or even if he had a bad month.
He's talented, he's inexperienced, his coach lacks trust in him. It will take time.
Again, we should look at Nash's career arc -- he didn't put up All-Star numbers until he was 27.
Fuck McHale with his unfairness to Lin!!! McHale sucks donkey balls!!'
ReplyDeleteYou can tell that Bev's shooting form is not good either. Bev is at best a good defender and takes no risk on trying to create.
ReplyDeleteSolidZ. Mcfail is really patient alright, with Bev that is 0/4 fg and 1 turnover,
ReplyDeleteConley's back and so is Jeremy
ReplyDeleteWhy the hell is Lin back? I kid.
ReplyDeleteshould've been earlier much earlier. He better start the 3rd.
DeleteJeremy is ATTACKING...and playing "SELFISH."
ReplyDeleteYES. He looks so much better now.
If anyone needs more minutes its Jeremy not Beverly..
ReplyDeleteWow the beard is really selfish, not passing at all.
ReplyDeleteLin n del3no also asked for the ball
DeleteAnyone see Lin and Parsons screaming at Harden just now?
ReplyDeleteYes
DeleteMcHale is a genius, putting Delfino on Zach Randolph.
ReplyDeleteMcHale should have let Lin to play while Harden rested because he caught the momentum. Now he needs to warm up again.
ReplyDeleteHard to dissect the defense when he doesn't have the ball to direct the offense.
Oh well, let's hope for some hot shooting by Lin.
MEM guarded the paint really well so it'll be tough to penetrate.
it's painful seeing Delfino as PF against Randolph. Zac would run Delfino over
ReplyDeleteGod Lin has no zip on that three...
ReplyDeleteLin left Conley for a wide open 3.
ReplyDeleteOne more mistake and he'll get benched.
Lin Jusy stands in the corner. Not a care in the world
ReplyDeleteIt just seems like Lin passes the ball because he doesn't want to shoot. SMH
ReplyDeleteLord, now Parsons is going to come out in the second half playing point forward. Try not to do too much, son.
ReplyDeleteMemphis has been in foul trouble with 8 min left in Q2 but Houston hasn't exploited it to draw more fouls and get FTs.
ReplyDeleteParsons got the right idea to attack inside but it's too late.
They need Asik with the starters to contain Gasol and Randolph.
Harden passed it to Lin lol
ReplyDeleteHarden didnt want to hurt his fg%. I kid.
DeleteHarden unselfish pass to Lin...but he should have shot that layup himself.
ReplyDeleteLin rattled that jumper in and out -- looked good despite miss.
Scorekeeper robbed Jeremy of an assist on Delfino's 3 -- no surprise.
Scorekeeping is really...crazy. I see Rondo and Vazquez get 2-3 dimes every game on multi-dribble iso-jumpers that take 5 seconds to shoot.
DeleteMeanwhile, Jeremy can't get a dime on a step-back 3 from Delfino. Happens once every game.
notice that too. maybe their scorekeeper is as Clutch himself.
Deleterondo would have gotten credited with the assist.
DeleteEven when McHale is wrong (Zach eating Delfino alive, Gasol outplaying Smith), he is so stubborn as to stick with it. Hence the point disparity.
ReplyDeleteRockets also just aren't playing team ball. Ball is not moving to find open players, just ppl standing around.
Why can't McHale ride Jeremy when he's getting hot just like he does with Beverly. If you are gonna go with pg by committee, wouldn't that be logical?
ReplyDeleteInstead he sits him for 8 minutes.
Lin is playing like shit. Can hit a jump shot. Standing like a statue and no one passes him the ball. Afraid to drive the lane.. Wow, mission accomplished McHale.
Remember when Bev played like 15min straight one game bc he was hot?!
DeleteAre we watching the same game? JLin is playing aggressively. He hit some shots. He didn't drive as much becuz the Grizzlies big guys pack the paint. And JLin isn't just standing in the corner. He's moving without the ball. Not his fault that he didn't receive passes.
DeleteRegarding McHale, do u really think he will change his ways? Lower your expectations. It is what it is. JLin will just have to put up respectable stats. At this point, I don't care if the Rockets lose or win.
Yup. McHale is more interested in developing bev than Lin. If Lin got bev treatment this season just imagine where he would be right now.
DeleteLin is playing like he doesn't deserve to play.
McHale substitution pattern is too predictable... once again Harden iso last few mins and Lin entered with a little less than 6mins. So 2-3mins to make something happen.
ReplyDeleteWatch out guys . Harden is gonna come out gunning. If he is going to shoot the team out of the game.
ReplyDeleteHarden is going to pad his stats in the 2nd half. He only got 7 points. Must have at least 22 points.
DeleteLin playing as if he's got a straight jacket on.. Playing with no soul or purpose..
ReplyDeleteThe coaching staff is the strait jacket on him.
DeleteLin will start the second half with a couple of mistakes and get benched with 6mins left. Will not enter until 5min mark where he has one min to do something before iso-harden.
ReplyDeleteScrew all of u who say Lin needs to work on this or that. He just needs confidence - the Linsanity swagger back. That will solve everything.
ReplyDeleteLin comes out just standing in the corner.
ReplyDeleteLol Memphis announcers.. "Houston doesn't really want to play defense"
ReplyDeleteWow d mo really sux
ReplyDeleteLin take that shot... My god!!!
ReplyDeleteBrace yourself, Beverly is coming
ReplyDeletenew thread
ReplyDeleteHoustons bigs are SCARED.
ReplyDeleteLin and Harden are battling, but they're not enough.
This game isn't about Lin being marginalized or Harden being selfish. It's Memphis's expensive frontline TERRORIZING Houston's minimum wage frontcourters.
It does not look good.
ReplyDeleteGasol, Prince, Conley are playing very well.
Harden is going ISO mode now, not passing as much.
Bev didn't play too well but Lin better scores or get a steal to stay on the floor.
DMo made a 3 so he won't be benched for Delfino yet.
ReplyDeleteBev is in with 3 min left.
ReplyDeleteLet's see how much sparks he gives McHale
That's a terrible lineup... If he thinks he can win a playoff game with this kind of substitution then he's crazy.
ReplyDelete
