  4. btw , John Wall's game develop alot different after his return from injury. not one man show now! good sign!

  5. They're letting wall get hot.

And we're cold, they lead now.

    Garbage quarter.

  6. Beverly is playing well. Rockets look slow.

    1. I hope it's not MCL/ACL related :( ... He took it on the side of the knee. It doesn't look good at all

  8. I don't care what anyone has to say. Lin better pick up his game in the last quarter. You can't just sleep thru any of these games!

    1. The tricky part is Beverley playing very well 6-7FG% with 15 pts.

Would McHale be brave enough to go to the small lineup with Lin/Bev/Harden?

Lin definitely needs to make an impact when coming back in 4Q.

      Delete
    2. Na, but Lin is coming in now. Bev can't play that many minutes at the same time. Lin will close the game. So he needs to put his game face on. You is way too capable to be playing this badly and outplayed by the back up. I know it happens, but he needs to get it together. There is not many more games left.

  9. PB is having a tremendous game

Drew an offensive foul, nice TO on wiz

Just sit lin out for this game let him rest.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I like these short handed Rockets. They look more focused and determined.

    1. Except for 3q they looked pretty confused except last minute lol

  11. Beverly is having a good game,so Lin will be bench ,I guess

  12. Get ready for the anti-lins

PB has 15pts now, lin still 2/7 for 4pts...

    1. I feel for Beverley.

He will get dumped at the end of season if he continues to get Lin's minutes, see Douglas and many others. :-p

    2. I was thinking along the same line too, Cara. :)

  13. Not able to watch the game but is Lin playing as badly as his stat say he is?

    1. Yeah...Slow, not hitting his jumpers, etc

      Delete
    2. He just missed a lot of shots and i feel his energy is not there.

      Delete
    3. He got going a bit in 3Q so hopefully he's itching to go back in to make an impact

      Delete
    4. As McHale says, "He's fine."

He's just not scoring. Doing everything else, though.

      Delete
    5. Yup, Lin is still the Rocket's leader tonight in assists with six.

Goddamn, finally Lin is back in.

      Delete
  14. Beverley's spark is wearing off.
Will Lin come back before 5 min left?

    ReplyDelete
  15. McFail keeping in Beverly longer than he should, again.

    ReplyDelete
  16. This lineup right now not very good on defense, they're just trading shots it seems.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Time to bring Jeremy back in...

...Rockets getting by with junk ball and bailout 3s.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I hope Lin don't go back to his struggling again.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wow that was bad TO with only 1pt lead Delfino :/

    ReplyDelete
  20. Not a fan of Delfino's game. Too hot and cold and one dimensional. Rather have a true big man than him at the PF spot.

    ReplyDelete
  21. LMAO wow Harden bad bad TO Wiz up by 1 now wiz ball

    ReplyDelete
  22. Damn Lin misses the wide open 3 .

    ReplyDelete
  23. This is bad briking 3s now...Lin/Harden/Parsons in a row

    ReplyDelete
  24. Delfino just shot himself on the head with his fingers after fouling lol

    ReplyDelete
  25. Can someone explain to me WHAT IS GOING ON WITH LIN!? Seriously, frustrating. Rocket's can't let Wizard win this game.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Lin is shooting so bad tonight .please don't lose to this scrub team, come on!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Looks like he is really afraid to shoot the ball. He's would rather turn the ball over than miss a shot :(

He is the only player I know in the NBA who takes himself out of the game, and hates his own game.

      Delete
  28. Lin with an open look passes it up to Parsons lol...Oh well at least Asik has a 2 out of it.

Its a 1 possession game and wiz is ahead, not good.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Theyre not even guarding Lin.

    Just double teaming harden.

    Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  30. 55 sec Harden bricks 3 they are leading by 2

    ReplyDelete
  31. Lin nice D on Wall forces a 24sec violation

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nice? That was AMAZING D right there.

      He singlehandedly pantsed Wall one-on-one.

Even when he's not hitting shots...Jeremy contributes.

      Delete
  32. Its time for Lin to hit a winner.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He had several chances to hit the winner. He won't take the shot.

      Delete
  33. Awesome defense by Lin.

If the Rockets still lose tonight, it's all on Mcstupidfail's shoulders. He left in Beverly way way way way way too long.

    ReplyDelete
  34. A lot of it is mental. Lin doesn't believe in his own shot, he passes up open shots, ending up in bad plays down the stretch.

He really needs to see a psychiatrist.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, I think McHale needs to be fired. McHale as a coach does all he can to destroy Lin's confidence. Awesome fucking job, really.

      Delete
    2. only reason he needs a psychiatrist is due to the mindfocks and verbal abuse that mchale gave him

      Delete
    3. Ys Lin always hesitate before he shoot. I can see it is becoz Mchale
always blame him this n blame him that. Lin is always consider the team win so
he defer n over passing but finally it comes turnover

      Delete
    4. Because Lin knows that if he misses shots, McFail will bench him immediately. If he decides to pass the ball in midair to someone else, and that person misses or turns over the ball .... then he's safe.

The root of the problem is that Jeremy is too worried about what the coach thinks of him, and not being able to play his own game.

      Delete
  35. Nice basket by Harden. Need to get a stop, and hope for one more shot before overtime.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Game tied 21secs left thanks to harden :)

They need to shut down Wall, GET HIM LIN!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Why would you waste all that time!? You don't have a time out and now Wizards have the last possesion. WHY!?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. so true, if lin did that, his ass is on the bench.

      Delete
    2. actually doesn't matter what lin does... his ass will be on the bench anyways.

  38. I think McFail is taking lin out...whada

    ReplyDelete
  39. Haha. Beverley is seen as a better defender than Lin so he's in. Let see Wall hit the game winner.

  40. OMG BEVERLEY ON WALL AHT THE FUCK

  41. beverley in for lin during crunch time

    ReplyDelete
  42. McHale is an... I don't even want to say anything. Either McHale or Harden!

    ReplyDelete
  43. UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE.

And of course, Lin is going to get scapegoated for the loss.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin's defense gave them a chance at the end, but McHale threw the game away.

Again, if you don't let Jeremy play primary ballhandler, you have no right to complain about his stats.

He played well enough to win: 6a/3s/2to/superb defense. McHale did not.

      Delete
  44. Nothing McHale does surprises me anymore. No matter what Lin does the respect simply is not there. That explains all of his inexplicable moves involving Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Haha! Stupid McHale .u gotta pay for it if u bench Lin,just a 20 seconds left wtf?

    ReplyDelete
  46. BIG MISTAKE taking out Jeremy.

Killed the defense...his help defense could've stopped Okafor, but oh well.

Wow. That's what you get for boxscore watching, McHale.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin definitely made impact on defense in 4Q but McHale took him out for Beverley in the last play.

Lin could also help to snatch the last rebound.

      Bad coaching move!

      Delete
    2. After only 10 games off the bench, Mchale thinks Beverly is an elite defender LOL.

      Delete
  47. I'M SO MAD RIGHT NOW!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!! What kinda of play was that... YOU HAVE NO TIMEOUTS!!! WHY LET WIZARDS WITH LAST POSITION. I guess either Harden or McHale are missing some in their IQ...........

    ReplyDelete
  48. If the Rockets don't make the playoffs, it's stupid coaching like in a game they should have won that will be the difference. That is a basis for firing the head coach.

    ReplyDelete
  49. McFail turns Rox into Roxfail !

    ReplyDelete
  50. How they burn all the timeouts, bad coaching, bad loss

    ReplyDelete
  51. did Mchale call the last time-out so he could put in beverly over lin?

    1. Oh my fucking god. I am flabbergasted. Speechless. Holy shit. Fuck you, McHale. You suck.

  52. Wow Rox just lost to a garbage team.

    Awesome.

I don't care of Nuggets lost, they're not rockets.

Go from leading 17pts to losing, this is pathetic.

Lin was just not even in the game, the rotations were effing stupid. Letting wall get hot was dumb, left Beverley in way too long.

When 3s aren't falling they had no game. Dumb dumb dumb mistakes by everyone in 4q, even Lin, that cost them key points.

So irritated, this should have been a win. Even with a healthy wall this team Rox should have won.

Of course Lin will probably be blamed instead.

    1. And oh, I don't care what anyone says, McHale needs to be FIRED.

  54. Lin is totally playing scared out there. He has no confidence in his shot. Mchale sucks too but Jeremy has to believe in his shot. Its not like the other guys aren't bricking up some shots too. It's ok to miss shots but its not ok to play like you are scared to miss. Come on Lin!!! Ugh just sickening.

    1. Scare to miss becoz of the coach

    2. His form is all bad tonight.

He really needs to get a good shooting coach like MT suggested, and fix his shot.

      Delete
    3. He almost seemed like he was playing depressed or something. Maybe the trade wore him down some of his energy???

      Delete
  55. I don't mind the loss, it's understandable. Wizards' big men were dominating down low, Rockets big men were traded to Sacramento.

But what made the loss really bad is seeing JLin lose confidence in himself at the expense of the team. He was almost non-existent out there, not taking shots or driving to the rim like he usually does. Trying to make those jump passes to Parsons every time will get him benched, and he knows it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Agree. His game becomes predictable when he is having a bad shooting night. He needs to find a way to pull himself out of it - that is what great players do.

      Delete
    2. I agree with the both of you. We're not gonna see much change the rest of the season.

      He'll be better next season.

      Delete
  56. Houston fell in love too much with 3PT shooting.

46 3PT attempts? They didn't have any offensive rhythm.

And when Lin didn't play in the last 21 seconds, bad things happened on defense.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. no offensive rhythm at all.

They lost the game before those last 20 some seconds though psalm. I knew they were going to lose long before that.

  57. Are you effing kidding me? Lin just put a great wall on Wall on D and got sub for Berverly? C'mon man. McHale made dumb and dumber look smart. Arghhhhhh..

    ReplyDelete
  58. What a waste of talent. Lakers are ROFLAO.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Just like in most close games this season, McHale doesn't have much coaching know how to help his team win these games. To be fair, it sounds like Lin wasn't playing well but there was no reason to substitute bev for Lin for the last play.

Lin needs to realize anytime he is not performing well, these things will happen. He has to bring more consistency to games - he just has been pretty bad in the tail ends of b2b games.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Haha Solidz if you saw how Lin effing STOPPED WALL COLD forcing 24sec violation, you'd be mad as heck wondering why he subbed Bev in.

      Retarded, omg McFAAAAAAAAAIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!

      Delete
    2. But when Lin Knew he had to sit for the last 20s , he seems he is ok with that n
keep cheering Beverly up. Even Lin thinks his own defense is not better than
      Beverly ?!

      Delete
    3. No that's just Lin being Lin.

      Delete
    4. I actually saw the last 6-7 minutes. Clearly he stopped wall on that play.
I'm beginning to think McHale took Lin out for offense - as he had no more times puts left and possession to the wiz. I think he expected to get the last chance to win and wanted better shooter out there. Too bad it back fired when the couldn't get the rebound.
Whatever the case, sone of the blame goes to Lin. He needs to play better to not give any excuse for McHale to take him out.

Disappointed in his play though. He shuldnt be so afraid to take shots esp when everyone else ( eg delfino) is shooting about 3 for 12.

  61. I guess Kobe knew how dumb Mcfail is when he guaranteed lakers will take the 8th spot for the playoff. Taking Beverly over Lin in crunch time, particular on D, especially when on the last play Lin just schooled wall on defense, sums up Mchell's ignorance and bigotry. What a blatant insult to a play

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That's just a stereotype
Even Lin shows great defense, Beverly still had to go for the important moment
Mchale thinks Beverly is so so gd on defense

      Delete
    2. As I mentioned before Stern will make sure that Lakers will make the playoffs. Too much money is at stake. NBA is a money making business. With the death of the Lakers owner, it's almost a sure thing they will make it. They will milk the story to make money.

      Delete
  62. Removing Lin for Beverly at the end of the game like that won't help Lin with his confidence either. McHale is a MORON.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Mchale is killing Lin's confidence. Beverly is not a good defender at all. Mchale always blames Lin for defence , but I think Lin is a much better defender than Beverly.
Finally , Houston lost. It seems that there are NO coaches who treat Lin as their important player in Rockets.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I stopped watching at around the 4min; they weren't going to win.

Too reliant on the 3. 46 attempts.

So Mchale took Lin out for Bev at the end? Not sure why that surprises people.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Haha ur right...Should stop being surprised.

Its so dumb k.smith, Lin had just STOPPED WALL COLD with his elite defense on the previous play that forced the TO and tied the game, and McHale subs him out with Bev to defend Wall, someone that's been scoring over Bev all night.

When Lin is on Wall, wall will usually just pass the ball off. Wall takes Bev on every time.

      McHale is retarded I swear.

      Delete
    2. Kenoshi, ok, now I know why ya'll are upset.

I just assumed we went into hero ball mode and lost the game.

      Delete
  67. McHale is making the most obvious coaching mistake in the world.

He's trying to fit his players into a system instead of finding a system to suit his players' talents. The Rockets' +/- shows they should be a 6th seed already, but McHale loses so many close games.

This read-and-react offense just won't work long-term. It minimizes Jeremy's PnR talents and turns both him and Parsons into jump-shooters first and foremost. It also lets Parsons and Delfino serve as playmakers...big mistake.

The fact that the Rockets are even 8th seed is a testament to Harden's offense and Jeremy's defense.

    1. Well said, agree 100%

McFail is dead to me, seriously...I actually believed he could change and turn things around, ok guess I'll be eating crow for a while :/

      Delete
    2. I think this type if gimmicky offense can work well enough to make playoffs but will fail miserably during the playoffs when a sound half court offense will get more predictable results.

Everyone should have a clear defined role. It doesn't exist on this offense scheme

      Delete
    3. Everyone can be the playmaker yeahhhhhhhhh

      Delete
    4. I think the offense can work, as long as there's a default primary ballhandler when things start to go south or the game is close. It's awesome when you get a huge lead, it can also get you back into a game really quickly. But, not so good for close tight games against really good teams. And as tonight's game showed, not very good against a bad team.

      Delete
  68. I keep harping on this, but the biggest mistake by McFail was to keep in Beverly basically a whole quarter. He came in with around 6 minutes left in the third, and didn't come out until 6 minutes left in the fourth.

And when Lin finally came in, like in another game, the other team went on a scoring run to take the lead, which makes it seem like it was all Lin's fault.

But, several big problems with leaving in Beverly so long:

    1) The obvious - Lin's been sitting out a whole fucking quarter. He needs time to get loose and in the flow.

    2) The biggest problem - when Beverly is in the game, THERE IS NO OFFENSE BEING RUN. Everyone is kinda running the offense, but, it's loose, and free form. So, by the time Lin gets in, everyone has been playing sloppy for an entire quarter, and Lin getting in there isn't going to change that right away.

And by the time Lin kinda got the offense straightened out, it was too late.

THat's the biggest problem with Beverly being in too long - he brings out sloppiness and free lancing in the other players the longer he's in there. Basically, they all start kind of playing like Beverly, frenetic, slightly out of control, and free-lancing. Great for short spurts of energy while resting Lin, but HORRIBLE for an entire quarter.

Maybe McFail just doesn't have high basketball I.Q. But, he's a fucking genius at giving an inferior team an advantage to beat them.

The Washington announcers were astounded to see Beverly in there late in the fourth. "And Beverly is still in the game!"

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hmm...Didn't think of it that way, but you are right, they were playing VERY sloppy with Bev in.

Whereas everyone just seems to know what to do when Lin is in, and it carries over when Lin came back in, till he sort of reigned things in a bit, but by that time we're already playing catch up.

      Stupid.

      Delete
    2. I am starting the think that Woodson and McHale are twins, but separated at birth. Both with low iq.

Woodson-if game plan doesn't work, iso-melo to death. Low iq

Mchale-if game plan doesn't work (3s don't fall in), either iso-harden or just sub player(s) in and out hoping to generate spark. LOW iq

      Delete
    3. Or go with small ball. Really stinky mcfridge (and morey).... small ball don't win championship (except with the exception of the Heat).

      Delete
    4. Kenoshi, yes, yes yes yes, next time you watch Beverly play watch how fucking sloppy he makes the entire team play even after he's left the game. He doesn't have that effect when in there for a short period of time, but for a whole quarter, his influence on the other players isn't going disappear immediately when you bring back Lin. It's harder when your idiot coaches don't even let you play point, but Lin's presence even off the ball helps to bring some semblance of cohesive play to the others, eventually.

      Delete
  69. This was one of the most frustrating game to watch as a Lin fan. If they're not going to utilize him to his maximum potential as a starter, then don't effing play him for the next 10 games and lets see what happens! The Rox will never a championship with a guy named MakeFail has head cockROACH.

    1. Lin was not in shape anyway. He basically try to direct all his energy only on the D today.

      Delete
    2. If he "direct all his energy only on D" as you said, then why the hell did he get replaced with 20 secs left in the game??!!! He had a poor shooting game, but over all he still had a sound game when he was on the court. Every player has bad shooting nights once in a while, but effing removing him at the end of game like that will surely demoralize many young athletes. It's like MakeFail really hates Lin or something.

      Delete
    3. Well, not try to defend McHale, I bet he just try to put hotter hands in the game in case we need to shoot.

      Delete
    4. Turned out we did not need that, the game was lost when they got that lucky long rebound. I mean it was the one that our guards are supposed to get, but PB was way ahead in the front court.

    7. mm hmm. Interesting that Parsons' name was mentioned.

      Delete
    8. Okay, he had a cold. It's worse than to sit him so long and let him get all tight and bring him back in. At the six minute mark, the idiot should just stuck with Beverly at that point. It is totally unfair to Lin to bring him in so late in the game, he had barely any time to warm up before the game was over.

      Delete
  71. Just prove one more time, no Lin no win
He is the leader. For the last game, even Lin is not shooting well,
He was still in charge. The offense possession still involve him
This time, he can't even got the minutes. So, it's done

    ReplyDelete
  72. So tomorrow will be Dallas vs Lakers for 9th.

    I hope Dallas wins.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Okay, I want to respond to those who say that Lin's benching was justifiable because he wasn't playing well.

I disagree. Yes, he wasn't SHOOTING well. But, he was doing his main job fairly well - running the offense and distributing the ball.

We can all see it, the offense just runs better when Lin is in the game, whether or not Lin is shooting well or making some turnovers.

Individual stats for point guards are almost totally irrelevant to see how well he played in quarterbacking the offense and distributing and playmaking.

THe team had a fucking lead when Lin was subbed out, even though he wasn't shooting well. If that was the case, then he was doing his job, "hitting singles." He had low turnovers until the really bad one at the end, was team leader with six assists, and again, he was running the offense (and defense) well enough for the Rockets to lead the Wizards. Until McHale sat him out for an entire quarter, totally took the rest of the team out of the offense (and defense), and brought a cold Lin in with just six minutes left and guys not playing cohesively.

That's the word - when Lin is running the point or in the game, the team plays with more cohesion. Not so much cohesion when Beverly is in, which is okay in small chunks of time (4-5 minutes), but not for a whole quarter.

Basically, Lin has the same ability that Rajon Rondo and Steve Nash has - the ability to affect the game even when shooting poorly. Beverly does not have that ability. He doesn't have the same court vision, the ability to get players in the right places, the ability to get the players to play with team cohesion. But, McFail can't seem to understand that, and am not sure he'll ever understand that. And if he doesn't, he deserves to be fired.

You need coaches with a fucking brain like George Karl, Doc Rivers, the Dallas head coach (forget name) to utilize Lin's skills.

    3. @Robertlin Not trying to justify, I am just saying when you play a team (good or bad) and you are within 2 points with about 30 seconds to go. It was the rebound and interior D cost us, either Lin or PB can not do anything about it. I agree with you that Lin brings cohesive offense, no one will disagree about that.

    4. @geronimo I do not think Lin sucks today, he still runs good offenses and good defense. Everyone had a fair share of TO at the end of the 4th Q. Lost is Lost.
