a cold? a freaking cold? give me a break. maybe the flu but a freaking cold? no.
Delfino had a foul and only made one shot but he stayed in the game...
Lin goes out sooner bc his play affects harden. Lin's position is easily covered by Harden. That's why he sits out longer stretches than any other starter (left on this team).
Do I here people cheering every time Rockets make a bucket? Seriously, it's like Rockets now have fans everywhere they go. I guess Lin and Harden are too likeable.
idk ... I think he knew Lin is not himself out there so he'll try to give him plenty of rest for the 2nd half. He put Lin back in 2Q but Lin couldn't get going yet.
Let's see if McHale plays him in the last 5 min of 4Q if the game is still pretty close.
There is nothing wrong with Lin. He just doesn't own his shot. His mechanics are bad. He will always go through cold spells when his confidence is down, until he fixes his mechanics. You can see him practice his shot at every dead ball. He doesn't believe in it.
Nevertheless, the offense looks great when he's out on the court. McHale pinning the blame on him for Washington's spurt is sick. McHale is such an idiot. He benches Lin for scoring too much. He benches him for scoring too little.
@Willy I am not panicing just because some shoot slump. I pointed it out very early b4. We all know there are so many good shooter with weird form out there in NBA. lol
I'm thinking Lin's just a bit fatigued, couldn't penetrate yet, and he struggled with his shots tonight but amazingly he can still distribute the ball with well-timed passes tonight.
Did you see how Delfino missed a 3 after DMo bobbled the ball before passing it to Delfino? Then Delfino easily made the three when Lin passed him the ball.
I'll be interested to see how Lin will score to break out of his slump in the 2nd half.
Jonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen Looks ill to me. Been asking all game. RT @linspiredinca: @Jonathan_Feigen Is Lin feeling allright? Read that he is under the weather?
LOL... i know what you mean. i normally don't get worked up for a game, that is until JLin came along. i just want him to do well to overcome the haters and not give them any ammo or reasons to justify their hate.
HERE WE GOO!!!
ReplyDeleteExpect some knee jerk from me! I'll try to keep the swearing minimal...
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to swear if pain is involved.
Deleterefs don't like Asik it seems...
ReplyDeletein-and-out lin
ReplyDeleteparsons back to back treys
ReplyDeleteDelfino gets in his favorite spot and sinks a 3.
ReplyDeleteDelfino and Lin airball
ReplyDeleteno joke, seriously. how heck can you air ball in the nba? It's not a one time thing, he's done it more than a couple times...
DeleteLin bricks nother open 3
ReplyDeleteuhm, how do you air ball that?
ReplyDeleteWow Lin is out at 6min mark missing all those shots and drawing a foul on wall.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to suck I don't think Beverley can take Wall.
you think he should have gone out?
DeleteBeverly was already at the scorer's table before the foul. Mchale yanked the leash on Lin pretty damn quick.
DeleteOmg! 0/3 Lin can't be like that.
ReplyDeleteHe looked tired going to bench. He didnt look right
ReplyDeleteis he still sick? he looked slow/lazy yesterday and tonight.
DeleteHe got tired legs already, thus the airball.
Deletehe can use some ginseng tonight.
He needs better conditioning. He looks really tired in the 2nd of back to back games.
DeleteIt's all them mcchickens..
Deletewe're more than halfway through the season, EVERYBODY'S TIRED.
DeleteLIN MUST FIND A WAY.
Lin needs to copy Nash's paleo diet to not eat processed sugar so his body recovers faster.
DeleteAnd reduce them chicken wings.
its gonna be a long game...
ReplyDeleteJeremy falling in love with the jumper. :-/
ReplyDeleteHe's gotta attack the basket...third game in four days...the legs are tired.
I don't mind him jacking 3s with fresh legs (good for confidence), though.
i like bev's energy but i don't like him as a pg. there's too much chaos, no rhythm. it's messy.
ReplyDeleteParsons single handedly keeping them in the game.
ReplyDeleteoh lord...here we go.
ReplyDeleteLol Beverley is learning about Wall's wingspan first hand.
ReplyDeleteWow how was that a blocking foul on Delfino, garbage...
ReplyDeleteI feel like no one in the Rockets team know how to take charges except Lin
ReplyDeleteWhen John Wall runs over a defender, it's a block. But when Lin or Harden run into someone ... it's always a charge call.
DeleteWall is getting Kobe calls lol :D
DeleteKobe calls in LA...Except he's in DC...
DeleteInteresting, DMo and Smith in at same time.
ReplyDeleteSmith looks lost...DMo nice oreb.
hope i'm wrong but it might be one those nights where, lin only gets to enter the game if his back up completely craps the bed...
ReplyDeleteThat's not how you treat your alleged pg of the future/guy you build around (moray's words).
McHale benched him for taking too many shots.
DeleteBeverley is just passing the ball, he'll get to play half of first and half of 2nd. Watch.
here come the F bombs...
DeleteI don't mind McHale benching him.
Delete1) Jeremy should've attacked the rim (esp. on the last 3).
2) Third game in four days and Jeremy's fighting a cold.
harden's 1-5 though...taken more shots than Lin.
DeleteA cold doesn't make someone slow down by that much. I hope it's not another injury.
Deletea cold? a freaking cold? give me a break. maybe the flu but a freaking cold? no.
DeleteDelfino had a foul and only made one shot but he stayed in the game...
Lin goes out sooner bc his play affects harden. Lin's position is easily covered by Harden. That's why he sits out longer stretches than any other starter (left on this team).
You guys are nuts.
DeleteYou all act like you've never been sick in your lives.
Lol smith is worse than Howard at FTs.
ReplyDeleteharden's been killing it from the 3.
ReplyDeleteDMo tips a ball off rebound to Bev and he travels under the basket lol
ReplyDeleteAnderson 3
ReplyDeleteRox killing them on perimeter, except for Lin, bricked 2 treys and long 2 airball :/
And bev sinks a 3.
ReplyDelete32 - 20 lmao will Lin see playtime in 2nd?
7min mark.
Deletelin only came back bc parsons came back.
DeleteRemember...it's not lin or harden on the court at all times, it's parsons or harden on the court at all times.
Do I here people cheering every time Rockets make a bucket? Seriously, it's like Rockets now have fans everywhere they go. I guess Lin and Harden are too likeable.
ReplyDeleteWe should do an over/under every game's 2nd quarter when Lin will enter the game. This game, over under the 9 minute mark. I say UNDER!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like McHale is gonna bench Lin like before those games.
ReplyDeletec'mon lin, you know the haters are gonna blame you for losing the lead...even though you got scrub anderson open looks.
ReplyDeletestop passing to anderson. you kept doing it at the end of the heat game too.
Deletewow lin on and the rockets are losing it
ReplyDeleteit's just more calm when he plays...that's what the pg is suppose to do.
DeleteWow what happened did wiz go on a 8-0 drive?
ReplyDeleteAnd the lead stretches out...
ReplyDeleteI must say its not because of Lin atm tho.
he got a couple assists and he's getting into the paint/drawing defenders in...but it's because delfino/parsons are hot.
DeleteMakes up for the 100000 assists they've blown on missed layups.
DeleteWow asik block lol
ReplyDeleteJeremy going for the Rondo game!
ReplyDelete6 dimes in 11 minutes!
Wow Harden is playing defense.
ReplyDeleteStill no point yet but 6 assists
ReplyDeleteWow Lin cannot make anything today.
ReplyDeletehe was shitty yesterday too.
Deletepisses me off bc i know he can be better.
something better be wrong with him...
lin..youre killing me.
ReplyDeleteHehe, to be fair even Harden started 1-5. And Jeremy missed 4-5 in a row during the OKC game, I think.
DeleteJust defend and win, baby. Also, get 10 assists tonight.
LOL, Jeremy isn't anywhere close on his jumpers.
ReplyDeleteCome on, man -- attack the basket!
Great passing though. And only 1 TO. Rondo game tonight.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteover the backboard dead ball..a real brick, shit man
ReplyDeleteI hope Lin really is still sick and he's not depressed cause his friends got sent to Kings.
ReplyDeletehe's been completely and annoyingly off...
DeleteSomething it's not right.... Don't ask me what... But there is something weird in the team right now. Arguing and stuff.
ReplyDeleteHow do you know, are you on court?
DeleteAnd Lin goes out.
ReplyDeletejohn wall looks like a total scrub on offense until bev comes in.
ReplyDeleteLin forgot how to play basketball today.
ReplyDeleteHis jumpshot is much better at Houston home games, because he has more time to practice his shooting touch.
DeleteHe doesn't have much chance to practice his shooting on the road. And he loses his touch almost immediately.
delfino's 3/10...
ReplyDeleteWell Lin needs to make those easy shot. What's wrong with him? I also need those fantasy points. Common Lin :( You are so much better.
ReplyDeleteLin's gonna play less than 30 min.
ReplyDeleteHe will play about 20 minutes today. He is showing no energy while he is in.
DeleteThey're gunna foul smith all night lol
ReplyDeleteLin is making it easy for Mchale to bench him.
ReplyDeleteLin will come back strong in the second half.
ReplyDeleteThey need DMo back on to get the offensive rebounds
ReplyDeletenice pass ariza.
ReplyDeleteparsons fumbling the ball to harden...yeah, nothing new here.
ReplyDeleteLol get smith out already he's being outplayed
ReplyDeletenever realized how big wall was.
ReplyDeleteMchale contesting the call for his favorite pet Parsons. When Lin gets stupid calls on him, Mchale just seats and pretend nothing happen.
ReplyDeleteBeverley having a good game.
ReplyDelete3/3 9pts all treys 3 assists
Lin anyone home?
bev's been great at getting his own and to be fair, he's got 3 assists too.
Deletesure glad Beverley played well.
Deleteyou think Lin is still affected with the cold?
not looking very sharp out there.
I thought McHale didn't care about Lin's points. Apparently, Lin's assists mean nothing, either.
ReplyDeleteMcHale is a liar. He will use any excuse whatsoever to make sure we know he doesn't think Lin is anything special.
McHale will just say:
Delete"Lin we're trying to win games"
Yep agreed liar.
idk ... I think he knew Lin is not himself out there so he'll try to give him plenty of rest for the 2nd half. He put Lin back in 2Q but Lin couldn't get going yet.
DeleteLet's see if McHale plays him in the last 5 min of 4Q if the game is still pretty close.
if lin doesn't score tonight...it's gonna be a long couple days of anti-lin bitching...they don't play again until W.
ReplyDeleteThe starter is not shooting well except parson, rite?
ReplyDeleteHope Lin will adjust it as I just start watching the game.
There is nothing wrong with Lin. He just doesn't own his shot. His mechanics are bad. He will always go through cold spells when his confidence is down, until he fixes his mechanics. You can see him practice his shot at every dead ball. He doesn't believe in it.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, the offense looks great when he's out on the court. McHale pinning the blame on him for Washington's spurt is sick. McHale is such an idiot. He benches Lin for scoring too much. He benches him for scoring too little.
There are times when he just hits tho MT...But he goes through a dry spell like you said.
DeleteSome of his old footages show correct form then he reverts to this...Why is that?
why hell does he do that? sometimes his form looks great and then other times it looks like this.
DeleteIf Lin gets defended hard, he doesn't have time to THINK.
DeleteWhen Lin gets his feet set and does his shot form, it misses (and badly too).
When Lin just lets it fly because defenses are hounding him, he reverts to his old shot form and the ball goes IN!
Come on guys. Even a Kobe can miss 10 in a row.
DeleteSomehow I cant loose the feeling that McHale is messing with Lin on purpose.
The old form make him feel comfortable, but I do not think it is a way to go in the long run.
Delete@Willy I am not panicing just because some shoot slump. I pointed it out very early b4. We all know there are so many good shooter with weird form out there in NBA. lol
DeleteJust hoping he can improve more.
He missed all 4 wide open looks though KHuang.
DeleteI'm thinking Lin's just a bit fatigued, couldn't penetrate yet, and he struggled with his shots tonight but amazingly he can still distribute the ball with well-timed passes tonight.
DeleteDid you see how Delfino missed a 3 after DMo bobbled the ball before passing it to Delfino? Then Delfino easily made the three when Lin passed him the ball.
I'll be interested to see how Lin will score to break out of his slump in the 2nd half.
Although, i believe he is just sick, his shooting mechanics really need some adjustment. Hopefully, thats his plan in this summer.
ReplyDeleteJonathan Feigen @Jonathan_Feigen
ReplyDeleteLooks ill to me. Been asking all game. RT @linspiredinca: @Jonathan_Feigen Is Lin feeling allright? Read that he is under the weather?
Haha being asked all game
Deletehope he gets michael jordan on...
ReplyDeleteThere we go Lin!
ReplyDeleteDrive and attack!
Lol Delfino's no look and Asik is like whut...
ReplyDeleteI like that ragdoll move off the foul lol (Harden)
ReplyDeleteugh aldsfjals;dkjfq;owiearjeo;iwj.
ReplyDeleteHe is just slow today don't hate him lol...
DeleteLin gotta be sick...
he better be like death bed sick...
Deletei don't wanna hear about a damn cold.
6-0 drive washington
ReplyDeleteparsons needs to STFU. What, cause he's got 22 freaking points he can bitch at everyone?
ReplyDeleteLin should have come up though, ha!
Asik took off his shirt ... and the crowd is not cheering
ReplyDeleteThere we go, LIN!!!!
ReplyDeleteoh god...is it beverly time...?
ReplyDeletewe have the least ball movement in the third qtr...anybody else feel this way?
ReplyDeleteWhy. Mchale shit.
ReplyDeletebecause he ran down the shot clock and waved off delfino for an isolation play. and missed badly.
DeleteLin deserves to be bench today. He's flat footed on the court. Looks lost.
ReplyDeleteugh...delfino's 3-12.
DeleteLin's 2-8.
you're right though, looks flat footed.
DeleteSigh... 5+ min in the 3rd. We're not gonna see lin till the fourth. hate watching rockets games when doesn't play.
ReplyDeleteWall has 10 assists.
ReplyDeletebev's playing really well tonight.
ReplyDeleteWe're not gonna see lin til the 6min mark in the 4th.
oh shit, greg smith. NO!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's why Lin's a fucking boss.
ReplyDeleteShowing the guys how to carry their injured teammate.
smh, need jlin to tell his teammates to lift him and his leg off the ground
ReplyDeletehope smith is ok... .that hurts... getting kneed on the side of the knee
Deletelol, I saw that too. The trainer should know that...
Deleteguess it's just you and me k.smith... others are sitting out til JLin checks back in at the 4 min mark... :)
Deleteyou're fine. i've been a negative ass. I feel bad for the people who are gonna read this game thread later.
Deletesorry in advance!
LOL... i know what you mean. i normally don't get worked up for a game, that is until JLin came along. i just want him to do well to overcome the haters and not give them any ammo or reasons to justify their hate.
Deletedmo with an airball after the sweet 3 earlier. it happens.
ReplyDeletechandler with the floater to beat the clock!
ReplyDeleteBring Lin back in please.
ReplyDeleteI detest mchale, bickerstaff, and sampson.
ReplyDeleteyes, yes and yes. it's as if JLin is the only one missing shots or turning it over. others are not reprimanded, JLin is yanked if he does it.
Delete6:35 left. Honestly, would you bring Lin back in?
DeleteBev's not doing bad.
no... you're right, beverley was doing relatively well.
Deletemm hmm...
ReplyDeleteLin back in like a true back up pg
ReplyDeletelate ass call from Leon Wood.
ReplyDeletego to hell leon.
Deletebs call
DeleteVery lackadasical play from lin.
ReplyDeletelate game meltdown, sloppy plays by the rox and offensive boards by wiz. thank goodness for harden's 3.
ReplyDeletego to the 2nd half thread bro.
Deletewiz
