    1. Oops I meant at least 15 mins.

    2. you wise had been fullfilled ;) he has almost 21mins now!

  3. Rockets are in their ketchup and mustard uniform tonight. No ppat, Morris, TD and Alridge in this game.

    ReplyDelete
  4. So not only Morris but TD is gone too? And, Terrence Jones not that I know who he is.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Harden gambled on the pick and Selfalosa blows by him for the easy layup.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Lin with his first 2 points at the top of the key after dribbling around and seeing nobody to pass it to.

    ReplyDelete
  7. On another note, Knicks are currently getting killed by Pacers. So far Harden has only scored from 3 point land. 3 for 3 for 9 points.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Westbrook blew by Lin and Lin caused a foul to send him to the line for an AND 1. McHale called a time out immediately. Most likely to sub Beverly in for Lin.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Jeremy shld be careful giving out fouls too early... Mchale will have reason to bench him

      Delete
    2. After the time out, Harden was pushing the ball up court and not Lin. Lin made a three pointer off of Harden drive and feed.

      Delete
    3. Wooo Lin still on the floor. I thought you were right though.

      Delete
    4. Damn my feed is like 1 min behind. Lagging.

  9. http://www.csnhouston.com/basketball-houston-rockets/talk/report-rockets-make-trades-get-robinson

    How's Robinson?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Rockets made TWO trades.
-- Got rid of Marcus Morris for a 2nd round pick from the Suns. Weak trade, I think they could have gotten more.

-- Traded Tony Douglas, PPatterson, Aldrich for Thomas Robinson and a few other guys. Another so-so trade. Patterson has potential, and Robinson has been disappointing as a rookie so far.

    1. wow Marcus will be reunited with his twin, Markieff...

    2. I'm a huge Kansas fan and follower and I've seen Robinson play throughout his career at Kansas...I believe him playing with jlin will be a huge positive surprise...

  11. Fast break and Parsons feed Lin and he got fouled but no call. They called the foul on the defender on Parsons when he got the offensive rebound.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. What else is new? He also got a "missed FGA" on a last-second pass to Parsons.

No player gets screwed by refs and scorers more often than Jeremy.

      Delete
  12. just tuned in...
    1. wow Toyota Center is kinda empty. try playing a regular season in my country and watch the seats filled.
    2. the McDonalds uniforms are now home jerseys?
    3. Go Jeremy!

    ReplyDelete
  13. And they send Beverley to guard WB after he blows past Lin...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Asik was late on the weak side help and caused the foul on Westbrook. McHale has enough and subbed in Bev. Didn't work because he drew another foul.

      Delete
  14. 3 guard lineup goin' small...interesting

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. perhaps they want to double Westbrook with Lin and Bev

      Delete
  15. Lin is back in with Harden, Beverly, Parsons and Greg Smith.

    ReplyDelete
  16. NBA refs...my god. So corrupt and Stern won't ever do a thing.

FINALLY Jeremy gets call...only because he got SMACKED in the HEAD.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Ugh is that clyde saying Lin was slow in ASG?

    Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He said Lin was playing it too cool and being a gracious host.

      Delete
  18. Greg Smith set a great pick for Lin who got the AND 1 using his left.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Love that Greg Smith! CATCH and FINISH, SON.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Patrick Patterson, Toney Douglas and Cole Aldrich traded to Sacramento for Thomas Robinson. Hmmm...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Robinson has athleticism and can rebound. Much needed on this Rockets team even if they lose Pat's jumpshooting skills.

      Delete
  21. HEre we go ...... Lin to Smith!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Bull fighter defense Ole hahaha.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hahahah, Harden got fouled by Westbrook. Ref wasn't going to call it and then they saw it was Harden and not Lin and blew the whistle.

    ReplyDelete
  24. The game plan is to stop Westbrook penetration with double-triple team. I worked twice so far resulting in TOs

    ReplyDelete
  25. Lin should have at least 5 assists by now....

    ReplyDelete
  26. Anyone ever heard of Thomas Robinson?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not really, some bench player...2nd pick or something, apparently Brooklyn wanted to get him as trading chip for Howard, other than that not much from the wise google.

      Delete
    2. Francisco Garcia is coming along with another player.

      Delete
    3. That's the guy that Lin dunked on.

      Delete
    4. No idea who he is.

      Hm, 2012 5th pick.

      Delete
    5. Thomas robinson? I heard abt him about 5 mins ago...JK

      Delete
    6. Another player, Tyler Honeycutt

      Delete
    7. yes. He will dunk a Lin alley oop soon.

      Delete
  27. So far so good by the end of 1Q with 36-29 lead. 8-13 3PT looks really good.

Durant got hurt so they just need to force Westbrook to shoot his way out of the game.

    ReplyDelete
  28. D-Mo in the game with Lin, Beverly and Greg Smith.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Bad thing is Rocket is foul happy now :/

Giving up lots of freebie points.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Dmo and Smith on the court at the same time. Looks good so far.

    ReplyDelete
  31. BTW, I'm sad to see Toney Douglas go, but he's rehabilitated his image in Houston and he should take Jimmer's spot at backup PG.

And more PT for Jeremy! Les and Morey giving McHale no choice but to play him more. I hope...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Ugh 3s aren't falling now. Bad sign.

    ReplyDelete
  33. My feed is terrible, it's like showing for 2 seconds, hanging for 5 seconds, and so on.

I guess it's better to read you guys' comments, instead of watching with my LP.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Use Internet Explorer. I got same problems with Chrome or Safari.

      Delete
    2. I'm having issues too. So many people watching...not enough feeds (there's usually like 6-8 different feeds to spread it out).

      Delete
  34. Tyler Honeycut, 2nd round pick, Garcia and Robinson to Houston.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Dmo and Lin has the same haircut. Auditioning for the boy band?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Dont say that, you'll make parsons envious...he might go for the same do

      Delete
  36. Lin is actually playing some significant minutes tonight. I think McHale is forced to play Lin by Morey's trade.

    ReplyDelete
  37. How will McHell mix Lin and Harden's minutes for the rest of the game? Harden's minutes is surprisingly low so far.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Asik is a non-factor so far. Good to see him get aggressive!

    ReplyDelete
  39. DMO needed to dunk that. Way too much over dribbling.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yup he doesn't have catch and dunk mentality.

      Delete
    2. He needs more PT...First game with any significant time and he plays OKC lol :D

      Delete
    3. Perhaps. So far he seems like a finesse big man like Divac but without the behind the back passes.

      Delete
  40. Damn, Lin with a great pass to D-Mo and he was caught by surprised and didn't know what to do with it. He bricked it on the side of the board.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin's stat continues to suffer cuz of his teammates.

      Delete
  41. Westbrook backed in and Lin fouled him when he was driving towards the basket.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Replies
    1. LOL commentator said McHell stood up and applauded the call?

      Delete
    2. McHale said now you should call it on the other end as well because Westbrook did the same thing.

      Delete
    3. That's what the commentator said not McHell.

      Delete
  43. Damn black Ref called a carry on Lin. Asik with a nice move around Ibaka for the lay in. Lin picked up a charge on Durant.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Another BS foul on Jeremy. My God.

Effing refs...then Westbrook carries right after...no call.

    ReplyDelete
  45. See Lin, throw the ball above his knees, this time above his head, and Asik will catch it :D

    ReplyDelete
  46. Jeremy being a factor in offense, defense and assist..he is having a very good game so far...

    ReplyDelete
  47. Les Alexander is at the game. McHale must be on his best behavior tonight.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If Les is there he should stick his foot out when the ref runs by :)

      Delete
  48. Lin is definitely shackled on playing hard DEFENSE by the refs. Westbrook keep getting superstar calls

    ReplyDelete
  49. Too much defensive fouls, dammit get it RIGHT REFS!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Lin needs a rest. Mchale is either benching him after five minutes or not benching him at all...the guys is dead on his feet!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Knicks are getting blown out by 30 points so far.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Lin leads both teams in minutes... wow.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Way to manage player minutes.

      Delete
    2. Mchale got a directive from Rockets FO....hopefully it lasts...

In games against the top 5-8 teams, Lin needs to play around 40 minutes or more. We figured that out long ago but seems Mchale only got the memo today

      Delete
  53. At the rate it is going, jeremy might play 40+ mins tonight, as long as he stays from foul trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  54. After 7 consecutive missed three attempts, Lin finally hits one to cut the run by OKC.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I'm only catching the game on ESPN play by play but why do we shoot so many 3's, especially when we're not making them?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. because Les is watching and Morey wants to prove something.

      Delete
    2. It's really just Delfino bricking it. Everyone one else are hitting the 3s.

      Delete
  56. I'm so sick of NBA officiating. It's vomit inducing. MLB, NHL, NFL...they all do pretty great.

But NBA refs are mostly criminals with whistles. They know what the BETTING LINES are and shape it to suit their needs (or the needs of the league).

    ReplyDelete
  57. Good T on Lin on the bench! :D

That's what a good leader does!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I wonder what McHale thinks of that...

"If he even gets a technical on the bench we might as well let him play"

      Delete
  58. Hahahah, Lin got his first technical arguing a call that the officials missed. The ball clearly hit the bottom of the rim and Beverly was fouled as well.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Thats just a taste of future-coach-Lin :)

      Delete
    2. True! The refs were clearly blind at that time.

      Delete
    3. I didnt see the replay so I cant say anything about the call but I like JLins passion. A coach should show support for his team at all times - not just sit there and hold his head.

To be fair - McHale was on his feet arguing for his team THIS TIME. I liked that.

      Delete
    4. To be fair - McHale only did that because it wasn't Lin...And he didn't want to be showed up by Lin supporting his team.

Hahahahaha yeah I know I have no basis for this argument, just wanna rant against McHale.

      Delete
  59. LOL, Jeremy gets his first TECHNICAL.

Hehehe...standing up for Beverly. And he's RIGHT of course.

    1. Good catch. Lin teaching McHell how to back up your players from the bench.

      Delete
    2. Sry - it was meant as reply to John Ly above. But yeah - thats how you should act as coach. I believe JLin will be a great coach one day.

      Delete
    3. No prob at all!

Jlin can turn scrubs into all stars on the court. He can do it as a coach too.

      Delete
  61. oh well... I wish NBA allows trading of COACHES

    ReplyDelete
  62. Jeremy looked shocked after getting the TF.you can tell he is not used to this call.im proud of him for speaking up.hope this is the start of him speaking up for himself first then teammates.in this side of the world, the one who speaks the loudest gets his voice heard, not necessarily that you are right..if you dont say anything, people assume that eveything is cool with you even if it isnt...get more TF's jlin...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, proud of him. That shot DID touch the rim.

      Delete
    2. Did he really step on the court?

      Delete
    3. Via

Not sure of that. The replay looked like it only touched the net.maybe im wrong, my screen is too small..lol

      Delete
    4. yup, he got too enthused and stepped one foot on the court.

      Delete
    5. Those ref's eyes are sharp where it doesn't count!

      Delete
    6. Etane

That part was clear, he was inside the court.

      Delete
  63. Calvin Murphy said he is baffled by the trade. He said he doesn't understand why the Rockets are trading unilaterally and trading down. His speculation is that there must have been a disgruntle player on Houston. Unless Houston is clearing cap space to make a big trade.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No idea as well. Its not like they cleared a ton of cap space with 2pat/morris/aldritch/td and picking up Robinson and other scrubs.

      Delete
    2. The players who were traded away were shooting too many Js.

      Delete
    3. TD is the only proven player they gave up.

Patterson and Morris are too soft and can't rebound a lick.

Robinson can at least rebound. 17% rebounding pct. compared to 10% for P-Pat.

      Delete
  64. Thomas Robinson was the fifth overall draft pick last year. He's only 21! Maybe the Rockets hope he will be the power forward they need to be that missing piece for a deep playoff run next year.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Now they make one of JL's 3s a 2pt-er.

But of course, they're sure as hell not going to correct the phantom "block" by Thabeet or the idiot incorrect Beverly call that led to Jeremy's tech.

F**king corrupt refs...NBA is the worst. Even college ball is a lot more fair.

    ReplyDelete
  66. if Jeremy helps one more opponent up, I am going to BARF.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. no biggie there. He's softening Ibaka so he won't give hard foul to Lin.

      Delete
    2. Pat Riley would of benched Lin for a few games for doing that.

      Delete
  67. Just looking at the box score, there's not much production outside of Lin and Harden. Bench is non-existent.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Thomas Robinson was highly rated coming out for the draft last year. He was projected as a possible top 3 pick but dropped down to 5.
