Home court, so we have to listen to Bill Warrell and Clyde "The Glide" Drexler. Hopefully tonight they will not make idiotic comments and stay on topic.
Tonight key match up will be Lin vs Lillard. Lin needs to play superb defense and shut him down and at the same time create offense for the Houston. No stupid TO's. It should be very exciting to watch. Rockets need this game. Portland beat them twice already.
Rockets need to guard against Aldrige from shooting the mid range shot and also from out rebounding them. He has long arms and can out rebound PPat and Marcus Morrison.
Well guys, I'm telling you this will be an exciting game! I got to excited with that last Lin 3... Wish he would have made it to be 3/3 behind the arc. But I will take the 2/3 though.
Sidenote: 1-1 Lin can defend well Lillard. The problem comes with the picks and team defense. They have to figure out something.
Lin with 7 points and 3 assists vs Lillard who has 5 points and 2 assists. Could Beverly be benched because of his dunk against GSW during garbage time? Lin is in after TD pulled what looks like a hip pointer.
Harden with 12 points and 6 assists and 1 TO. Maybe he should be the PG instead of Lin. When he is racking up the assists means he is not playing ball hog. He is changing his game without Lin in the game.
Mchale liked Beverly's defense on Lillard, which was indeed good so Lin can't get back. Mchale could care less about Lin's offense. He wants Harden to be the offense.
Houston commentators are on Lillards gonads. Pay him higher compliments than they ever gave Lin. They say that he can't be stopped and he is so composed. I never see a bunch of commentators who is oohing and aaahing over an opposition PG before.
Lin being agressive, trying to dominate the offense after being frozen out sitting on the bench. I like it because he realizes Mchale is freezing him out. Lin almost called his own number and tried to shoot a 2 point jumper off the screen.
Lin HAS FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! HE IS BALLHOGGING AND SCORING POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE GOT TIRED OF BEING PLAYED BEING FROZEN ON THE BENCH! GOOOOOOOO LIN!
ok Lin is being "agressive" looking for his points...He would have never have shot the 3 and missed that layup before. He would have passed off playing team ball. Seriously he was trying HARD to score one he came back in because he now knows in the NBA it's ALL about scorers.
Once Lin shows he can score alot then he can do his team ball thing
I love what I am seeing from Lin now. F*** the Rockets Front Office and Coaching Staff. If Lin does this and scores points, people will take notice. They don't appreciate his assists and team oriented contributions.
Bill Worrell said you just can't bounce pass it to Asik because he is just too big. Clyde chimes in by sadying those are the mistakes you make in Oct. and Nov.
Lurch forgot he called a 20 second time out and was trying to argue his point before Sampson came over and said you called a 20 to bench Lin remember. Lurch was upset with himself heading back to the huddle with his team.
Uh oh, they interviewing Sampson. Sampson is staring up at the scoreboard and talking about Harden and how the Rockets will be in trouble if Harden misses in the 2nd half. I really hate this idiot.
Sampson with 1st half interview. Said Aldridge hurt them bad. I expect him to say Lillard was killing them too. But Sampson is more seasoned now and knows the Asian media and fans will dissect the stats and show Beverly was torched, not Lin.
That's just swinglinezigzag assessment. It's not true. Sampson will just say anything that comes to his mind. He doesn't really care. If it was up to him, then shooting isn't a democracy. He rather play hero ball.
Can you explain why he is sad? He said on the radio that he is very happy and having fun playing ball with his Houston Rockets teammate right now. The offense is changing and everybody is developing better chemistry.
Lin will get so many assists if he has a guy like Aldridge on his team. That guy is money from mid range. Rockets still have no answer on how to slow him from his hot shooting.
Home court, so we have to listen to Bill Warrell and Clyde "The Glide" Drexler. Hopefully tonight they will not make idiotic comments and stay on topic.
ReplyDeleteThis will be an wxciting game cant wait! Get ready guys! :)
ReplyDeleteTonight key match up will be Lin vs Lillard. Lin needs to play superb defense and shut him down and at the same time create offense for the Houston. No stupid TO's. It should be very exciting to watch. Rockets need this game. Portland beat them twice already.
ReplyDeleteRockets need to guard against Aldrige from shooting the mid range shot and also from out rebounding them. He has long arms and can out rebound PPat and Marcus Morrison.
ReplyDeleteSo far, Rockets have not been able to guard Aldridge. He is shooting over PF's and Asik at will.
DeletePlay off intensity and hustle boys!!!
ReplyDeleteAlready 1 assist for Lin with a pass to Asik. Portland was looking for a high PnR.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! What a beautiful play! Never seen that before!
ReplyDeleteLin with an early FG. Rockets up by 2 points.
ReplyDeletewow Jeremy's 3s at the top of the key is getting deadly!
ReplyDeletePor favor, anybody have links to a live stream?
ReplyDeletestream
DeleteI watch HERE
Deletethx via and isabeli!
DeleteThat is not a fucking travel. EVERY NBA player does it 3 or 4 times a game.
ReplyDeleteWell guys, I'm telling you this will be an exciting game! I got to excited with that last Lin 3... Wish he would have made it to be 3/3 behind the arc. But I will take the 2/3 though.
ReplyDeleteSidenote: 1-1 Lin can defend well Lillard. The problem comes with the picks and team defense. They have to figure out something.
Why is Lin being benched already!!
ReplyDeleteDouglas pulled something.
ReplyDeleteWho's back in, Lin or Bev.
DeleteLin.
DeleteI want to see Lin play, but I don't want to see TD hurt. Him and Lin are close.
DeleteThen I rather someone who's not close to Lin be injured instead.
Deleteawww TD!!!
ReplyDeleteHardly ever get to see Lin and Aldrich play together. McHell always match Lin with Asik.
ReplyDeleteAldrich picks AND rolls!
DeleteHe didn't get the pass, but at least he attempts to be Amare-esque.
DeleteLin with 7 points and 3 assists vs Lillard who has 5 points and 2 assists. Could Beverly be benched because of his dunk against GSW during garbage time? Lin is in after TD pulled what looks like a hip pointer.
ReplyDeleteLin shot is having some consistency. He has been able to hit 2 out of 3 three pointers.
DeleteI answered my own question. Beverly is in for Lin to start the 2nd quarter.
DeleteHarden is such a ball hog at times, he could have reset the position and give the ball to lin at the end of the 1st to set up a play
ReplyDeleteB squad on the floor except Asik.
ReplyDelete6 3s so far. On pace to break the record.
ReplyDeleteAsik needs to dunk!
ReplyDeleteAsik can't finish from under the rim. What happened to his aggression from games ago? Miami softened him up?
ReplyDeleteThat's twice the bald headed ref call a travel on the Rockets. One on Lin and one on Anderson.
ReplyDeleteI hate does "travelling" calls
ReplyDeleteIf Howard Chen's hair is longer, he'd look like Vegeta.
ReplyDeletewhere is Lin!!!!!!!! If harden is in the game then should Lin come in as well
ReplyDeletehate mchale rotations
DeleteMcHale's super attached to them...
DeleteHarden dishes more than he shoots now.
ReplyDeleteHarden is stealing Lin's kung fu.
DeleteHarden with 12 points and 6 assists and 1 TO. Maybe he should be the PG instead of Lin. When he is racking up the assists means he is not playing ball hog. He is changing his game without Lin in the game.
ReplyDeleteHarden is stealing Lin's assists.
ReplyDeleteHarden is playing unselfishly and making others around him better.
ReplyDelete3s and assists.
ReplyDeleteMchale liked Beverly's defense on Lillard, which was indeed good so Lin can't get back. Mchale could care less about Lin's offense. He wants Harden to be the offense.
ReplyDeleteThat's not a bad rotation if indeed Bev is better at guarding Lillard.
DeleteBev is on Lillard's back except for the split second that counts.
LOL I REALLY don't understand Mchale's subbing. I hope if Portland loses, they ask why Lin didn't play in the 2nd Q LOL
ReplyDeleteif POrtland wins....
DeleteHouston commentators are on Lillards gonads. Pay him higher compliments than they ever gave Lin. They say that he can't be stopped and he is so composed. I never see a bunch of commentators who is oohing and aaahing over an opposition PG before.
ReplyDeleteLOL Lin .... he probably wouldn't get hit in the head if he didn't do that Harden head fake.
ReplyDeleteLillard went off on Beverly. Scored like 7 points on him.
ReplyDeleteYes Bev looks like he's doing a good job but Lillard can always creates space a split second before he shoots.
DeleteHarden back to SG role.
ReplyDeleteHarden playing skip skip skip to my loo and gets fouled.
DeleteLOL your internet is faster than mine. I read your post before I saw Harden do his Euro-Asia steps.
DeleteJust want to say Lins D this game on Lillard is better than bev, he score 7 straight on him before Lin back
ReplyDeleteI just hear the Houston commentator praising Beverly's defense? They are that biased?
DeleteLin being agressive, trying to dominate the offense after being frozen out sitting on the bench. I like it because he realizes Mchale is freezing him out. Lin almost called his own number and tried to shoot a 2 point jumper off the screen.
ReplyDeleteLin with his third 3 pointers. I was right, our PF can't keep Aldridge from scoring on them.
ReplyDeleteWow the blazers are not guarding Harden lol
ReplyDeleteLin doing well, controlling the game, and hitting 3s.
ReplyDeleteLin is doing a F*** YOU MCHALE with the 3. AND I saY f*** you coaching staff.
ReplyDeleteHarden is playing really well tonight. 18 points and 8 assists. He just split like a triple team and scored.
ReplyDeleteanother Jeremy 3 on top of the key!
ReplyDeleteLin stepped on the line. He is getting a 2 pointer.
Deleteoh yeah....
DeleteLin never gets calls
ReplyDeleteGame was kind of slow but both team staring to heat up.
ReplyDeleteHarden is on 7-7, has not missed yet.
ReplyDeletethe blazers are closing out on harden at all
Deleteare not*
DeleteLin HAS FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! HE IS BALLHOGGING AND SCORING POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE GOT TIRED OF BEING PLAYED BEING FROZEN ON THE BENCH! GOOOOOOOO LIN!
ReplyDeleteHey the ball is flowing. No one person is hogging at the moment.
Deleteok Lin is being "agressive" looking for his points...He would have never have shot the 3 and missed that layup before. He would have passed off playing team ball. Seriously he was trying HARD to score one he came back in because he now knows in the NBA it's ALL about scorers.
DeleteOnce Lin shows he can score alot then he can do his team ball thing
Harden and Aldridge so far unstoppable and show why they are All Stars.
ReplyDeleteNice moves to the basket against Lilliard! Lin should have had that one but I think he was probably worried about someone swatting him from behind.
ReplyDeleteHarden is playing like a superstar today, very efficiently also, since they are not double teaming him.
ReplyDeleteI love what I am seeing from Lin now. F*** the Rockets Front Office and Coaching Staff. If Lin does this and scores points, people will take notice. They don't appreciate his assists and team oriented contributions.
ReplyDeleteI heard Batum is injuried, probably explained why he hasn't made any impact so far. Good for the Rockets.
ReplyDeletebill worrell: jlin gettin fouled all the way to the basket and no call!
ReplyDeleteAwww man! Robbed of the three... good decision on the Blazers' part to review it though.
ReplyDeleteRox won't get 24 tonight cuz of Lin stepping on the line.
DeleteLOL did Asik mean to go glass?
ReplyDeleteBill Worrell said you just can't bounce pass it to Asik because he is just too big. Clyde chimes in by sadying those are the mistakes you make in Oct. and Nov.
ReplyDeleteThose are some mean comments hahaa.. I thought that pass was too low.
DeleteClyde is hard on *all* players. But he's also much more fun to listen to than the other commentators.
Deletehm..Lin should have shot that one with clock running out.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
Deletethat was an offensive foul?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteLurch forgot he called a 20 second time out and was trying to argue his point before Sampson came over and said you called a 20 to bench Lin remember. Lurch was upset with himself heading back to the huddle with his team.
ReplyDeleteLin's defense forced Lillard to give up the ball resulting in 1 TO just now.
ReplyDeleteYeap.
DeleteWhy did Houston call a timeout with just 3 seconds left? Trying to understand the strategy. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteman I'm getting sick with this punk Spike Lee commercial
ReplyDeleteI like Spike Lee. He likes Jeremy Lin when he was with the Knicks.
DeleteYou got to give props to the man, he is s true blue die hard Knicks fan through and thru.
DeleteUh oh, they interviewing Sampson. Sampson is staring up at the scoreboard and talking about Harden and how the Rockets will be in trouble if Harden misses in the 2nd half. I really hate this idiot.
ReplyDeleteSampson with 1st half interview. Said Aldridge hurt them bad. I expect him to say Lillard was killing them too. But Sampson is more seasoned now and knows the Asian media and fans will dissect the stats and show Beverly was torched, not Lin.
ReplyDeleteImpressive, the idiot learned something!
DeleteThat's just swinglinezigzag assessment. It's not true. Sampson will just say anything that comes to his mind. He doesn't really care. If it was up to him, then shooting isn't a democracy. He rather play hero ball.
Deleterather than Dragon ball.
DeleteI see what you did there.
Deletefucking moron needs to die. not literally but just disappear from this team.
DeleteLin be very sad in court
ReplyDeleteHe needs to order their agents for trade in next season
Can you explain why he is sad? He said on the radio that he is very happy and having fun playing ball with his Houston Rockets teammate right now. The offense is changing and everybody is developing better chemistry.
DeleteI think he just travelled to the future from last month ;)
DeleteLin's gotta do more of this holding his head thing to get more calls.
ReplyDeleteLin needs to curse in Mandarin at the Refs so that they can't T him up.
DeleteHe needs to dye his hair blond, so the refs can see the hits to his head more clearly.
DeleteHe needs to dye his hair with a new high tech pigment that changes color in response to impact. Biased refs pwned!
DeletePerhaps dye his hair like Dennis Rodman except get a bulleyes on his head. The dye will rub off when he gets hit on the head.
DeleteLOL wear some crumple zones.
DeleteWhy does espn play by play show that Lin has 10pts? Shouldn't he have 11? Did one of his 3's turn into a 2?
ReplyDeleteSorry, haven't been able to watch the game until now.
his last 3 was deduced to 2 because he stepped on the line.
DeleteRefs did replay and Lin stepped on the line. They sure don't analyze the no-calls with the same intensity.
DeleteFoot on the line...
DeleteI am surprise that Sampson didn't mention anything about Tony Douglas injury. He is probably thinking of ways to insert Beverly ahead of Lin again.
ReplyDeleteAnother proof that the fxxxing snake has no heart. TD was his favorite before Beverley was signed.
DeleteOh, that's nice that Harden wants a triple double. Way to put your stats above the team.
ReplyDeleteHarden is something else
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteActually I think Harden's playing unselfish today. To be fair, it's hard to ignore his 8 assists.
DeleteAsik did well with 4 blocks in the 1st half but Aldridge owned PPat scoring at will with 19pts.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope Aldridge cool off soon.
Lin will get so many assists if he has a guy like Aldridge on his team. That guy is money from mid range. Rockets still have no answer on how to slow him from his hot shooting.
ReplyDeleteRockets try to combat Aldridge with Asik and so far it isn't working.
DeleteHarden with a smart move to post up his man after grabbing an offensive rebound. He got the foul call.
ReplyDeleteCan't blame Harden on that one. He was looking for a pass, but no one was moving, so he had to take the shot.
ReplyDeleteNew thread.
