remember when people kept saying that lin or harden need to be on the floor at all times? We know who the key guys are, parsons and harden. one of them is ALWAYS on the floor when the other's on the bench.
Two open 3's missed. I'm always so disappointed when Lin misses these open shots. But I have faith..... percentage wise, over the past 11 games, he's still shooting really well behind the arc.
I feel like Lin has open shots that he passes up to try to drive when maybe he should just shoot the open jumper. Maybe he doesn't have the space I think he does, but it appears so.
Lin is not having a good game tonight. But this refs are something. Either way, if we lose this one I will be MAD! We can't afford any loses and not like this!
Ok, now I'm feeling a bit better! :) We just can't afford to lose a game like this. Lin didn't have a good game, but that's fine. Tomorrow is another day.
Both NY teams lost tonight. The worst being the Knicks who were talking like they were the best team in the East and is going to contend Miami for the title. Bwwwaaahhh.
Yeah, he wasn't in the flow tonight. He was trying to facilitate tonight and end up causing some TO's for himself. His shots weren't falling tonight, but he did have a clutch 2 in the 4th quarter.
Glad I'm not the only one who sees this! We JLin fans tend to be tough on our guy (the Asian way).
For example, the Delfino 3 to clinch the game was created by Jeremy driving the lane making the hocket assist -- collapse D, dish to Asik, swing to open Delfino.
I don't think he "lost his groove." He just had tired legs from BEASTING against OKC and keeping Westbrook in check.
He had a day off, but with a game like that, it isn't enough, heh. I don't mind Beverly playing extra today -- he was hitting shots and the Rockets play again tomorrow.
Jeremy had a fairly low usage tonight, so he could be fine by tomorrow.
McHale seems to have fallen in love with Lin after the OKC game. Now he claps even if Lin has a "bad" game. He even said nice things about Lin. WTF? Ill take that!
Kenoshi, McHale looked at the end of the bench and saw no TD :}
But yeah, that was great when he put Lin in when the game was about to get out of hand. The defense definitely tightened up after that. Lin's offense was okay today, perhaps due to fatigue.
I know - I dont get it either but I like it :) Maybe Les said to McHale "If you play Beverly too much Im gonna trade both of you :)
BTW:
Overall Lin had an OK game. I think sausage matched his career high. It doesnt always have to be HardLin. Lin looked slow because he was observing the other team at times - see if he can lure them into blocking his driving lane and benefit from that and... He contributed. Rox won.
At least Denver lost tonight... Pretty sure golden state (playin spurs) and utah (playin clips tom) will follow. I really believe that Houston can get to the 5th seed, so that they have a chance to get out the first round against Memphis.
Harden is not shooting well tonight. He only has 7 points.
ReplyDeleteHe has lost the ball a couple of times on his signature drive. Funny how the box score only gave him 1 TO.
DeleteThat's a foul on Asik!
ReplyDeleteNot a lot of calls tonight?
DeleteRefs have been consistent. They are swallowing the whistles tonight and letting them play.
Delete5 Houston FTA. That's way below average.
DeleteSausage man with the nice reverse to put the Rockets up by 4 points.
ReplyDeleteHarden is tired? Wut's going on?
ReplyDeleteHe spent his load on OKC and decides to take the night off tonight.
DeleteTrue. Someone give him some ginseng and tiger balls.
DeleteHarden is playing like crap tonight. Lin with great defense to draw the charge after Parsons coughed up the ball.
ReplyDeletePoor guy.that's a giant fallung on you
ReplyDeleteWTF is going on?
ReplyDeleteHarden needs to sit now
ReplyDeleteYes. JAnderson time.
DeleteSausage 3!
ReplyDeletePlease don't hand this game to the nets.
ReplyDeletethose camera guys are kinda on the hazard line for both the players and themselves.
ReplyDeletefight off rebounds and please don't Harden handle the ball much of the time.
ReplyDeleteParsons shld have passed that ball instead of taking a charge
ReplyDeleteParsons blew a nice pass from Lin and when Lin tried to reset and penetrate he committed the TO. 4 TO on him so far and now the bench will take over.
DeleteHe went right - the guy ran into him. IMHO he got fouled.
DeleteHouston didn't give up the defensive rebound, but they did a terrible job boxing out. They were lucky the brick was hard.
ReplyDeleteFor once I agree with Mchale.
ReplyDeleteParsons, pass the ball!
Damn parson always lose the ball .
ReplyDeleteProve not everyone can be the PG
Deletethey need to cool it on the TO's. lin with 4 already.
ReplyDeleteMaybe cuz he's not trying to hit HRs.
Deletewe're gonna lose this game because i feel like harden's gonna go into hero mode at the end.
ReplyDeleteWhat the mcheck?? Jeremy is out and harden is playing?? Shld be the other way around
ReplyDeletewe're gonna fall behind with that lineup. hope i'm wrong.
ReplyDeleteBeard dribbles and holds the ball a lot... give the ball to Beverly and move through screens Beard!
ReplyDeleteHarden in superhero mode
ReplyDeleteI think he was setting up for a pass.
DeleteAnother theory, Harden is tired because he's actually playing D?
ReplyDeleteI'd say half D!! Lol
DeleteLOL yes I was going to say the same thing. He raised his D game from 25% to 50%.
DeleteAnderson nice floater.
ReplyDeleteLin will come back in at 6min again.
I think he will start the 4th
Deletei'm going with Kenoshi's prediction. 6 min mark.
DeleteFUCK YOU MCHALE, DIE.
Oh welL if tha's the case, im with you k smith...i just dont want to curse so you do it for me again
Deleteparsons and dmo to come back...
ReplyDeleteHarden was just standing there not moving at all two-three plays ago. Now in god-mode hitting two 3s
ReplyDeleteHarden just put on his triple goggle.
ReplyDeleteYeah - was he looking at Lin? :)
DeleteHe needs two goggles to look at Lin doing the McChicken dance.
DeleteHarden with Lins 3pt goggles :)
ReplyDeleteLMAO BROMANCE Harden goggle eyes at Lin!
ReplyDeleteParsons on fire! Very very jealous!
Deletenow i see why lin sits...harden heats up when he's off.
ReplyDeleteWas McHell going to argue with the ref about FTAs but then sat his butt back down?
ReplyDeleteAfraid of losing his McChickens.
DeleteLOL
DeleteHahahahahah
DeleteAnd the beard ends the quarter with a 7:0 run. Etane forecast missed only by 3
ReplyDeleteLOL variance influence by slow scoring quarter.
DeleteLin should be playing better...he doesn't have to work as hard on D tonight...he's on freaking cj watson.
ReplyDeleteHe's not challenged enough?
Deletefrom his own team/coach...yeah he's challenged.
DeleteWho's sausage man?
ReplyDeleteAnd why?
DeleteSenior Delfino
DeleteCuz he's from Argentina. That's all they eat.
DeleteCause he ate poisoned sausage some time ago - when he came back (after suffering from brown rain) he shot 3s like a superstar.
DeleteLOL. Thanks.
DeleteHHAA brown rain, then comes pouring 3s.
DeleteMchale wants either harden or parsons on the court at all times.
ReplyDelete11pt lead
ReplyDeleteMcHale is looking for some energy
McHale is looking for some spark
McHale is not looking for Lin
remember when people kept saying that lin or harden need to be on the floor at all times? We know who the key guys are, parsons and harden. one of them is ALWAYS on the floor when the other's on the bench.
DeleteIt says a lot.
which one of the three doesn't belong?
DeleteWow - HarLiners out -> 15 pt lead.
ReplyDeleteLin might not make it back, Beverley just pwn'd DWill.
ReplyDelete15pt lead...
HOU bench is eating the Nets' lunch and dinner!!!
Delete13 - 0 run. Exceeded expectations.
ReplyDeleteWow! The rockets bench players are playing so good ,they move the ball very well.
ReplyDeleteWow anderson -> DMo
ReplyDeleteHe's earning his pay
What is parsons doing tonight?
ReplyDeleteTryin' to be PG
DeleteWell never mind, lead down to 10
ReplyDeletetypical parsons move when he handles the ball so much...
ReplyDeleteWHERE THE FUCK IS LIN? HE'S A FUCKING STARTER.
ReplyDeleteWHERE THE HECK IS JEREMY LIN MCHALE??!!!!
ReplyDeleteBlatche dunks on DMo
ReplyDeleteOh gawd plz don't let them get hot.
I want Lin back in... get his court vision back on the court.
ReplyDeleteJLin in
ReplyDeleteAsik and Lin need to be in the court now!!!
ReplyDeleteKnew he was gunna miss soon as he shot...Late late late
ReplyDeleteBromance 3 pt play.
DeleteI hate how McHale brings in Jeremy every last 6 minutes!
ReplyDeleteNot 6 tonight but 7.. If that makes a difference
DeleteWIDE OPEN BRICK.
ReplyDeleteStupid bench - they could have all sticked their feet out to kick Lin back in :)
ReplyDeleteLol ANderson waves off Lin...wtf he is starting PG now?
ReplyDeleteHe needs to be traded haha.
DeleteIts a democracy! Its a democracy! Actually - its communism :)
Deletethey look so chaotic when everyone gets free reign to do whatever they want with the ball.
Deletethere's no tempo or control; it's messy.
that one was ok, got someone in front of Lin.
DeleteThe previous play Anderson didn't cut to the basket and Lin was upset!
So a TO after TO
DeleteSMH on that
DeleteLin/Harden = tired legs
ReplyDeleteIt's ova. Knicks fans are on official suicide watch. They are down by 4 points with 6.9 seconds left.
ReplyDeleteWow.
DeleteToronto coming up big or Knicks just doing bad?
hahahaha so long Knicks!
DeleteWow they just compared DWill against Lin talking about how they quieted down Linsanity...
ReplyDeleteLol they want Lin bad.
Wow another brick...Lin is just not flowin'
ReplyDeletelin needs to attack.. all his shots are fallin short
ReplyDelete5pt game now
ReplyDeleteHave a bad feeling...They are doing a terrible job closing.
ReplyDeleteDamn Lin is off 3 pts tonight .
ReplyDeletehe never got into rhythm. he's playing like shit tonight.
DeleteThe beard does it again!
ReplyDeleteThey can't afford to foul right now, Smith needs to play smart.
ReplyDeleteTwo open 3's missed. I'm always so disappointed when Lin misses these open shots. But I have faith..... percentage wise, over the past 11 games, he's still shooting really well behind the arc.
ReplyDeletepretty sure lin is gonna be taken out... honestly, i think he needs to be taken out..
ReplyDeleteOmg! Lin is doing no good in 2nd half .
ReplyDeleteLin is looking really slow...what gives.
ReplyDeleteWatson is shutting him down.
Clutchfans gunna blame Lin for the loss missing 3-4 shots in a row.
ReplyDeleteSMith really bad foul right now.
Looks like he was rolling to the basket. Bad timing.
Deleteterrible start... looks like terrible closing.terrible refs.
ReplyDeleteand I was positive of this game!
DeleteI feel like Lin has open shots that he passes up to try to drive when maybe he should just shoot the open jumper. Maybe he doesn't have the space I think he does, but it appears so.
ReplyDeletei agree.
Deletecj watson is making lin look bad on d, scoring 17 points off of him and lin being denied in the 2nd half. come on lin!
ReplyDeleteNice Lin get in the groove.
ReplyDeleteThen he misses the floater...
DeleteHe just looks slow.
No foul on Lin's drive?
ReplyDeleteLin is not having a good game tonight. But this refs are something. Either way, if we lose this one I will be MAD! We can't afford any loses and not like this!
ReplyDeleteSAS's radio clip tomorrow gunna be interesting.
ReplyDeleteDid Knicks just lose 2nd place?
Knicks fans are all on suicide watch. They lost to Toronto.
Deletenot sure if it was intentional... but dwill took the opportunity to lay on top on lin and roll over his legs during the scrum for the loose ball.
ReplyDeleteI think he was going after the ball. But, I think that's a half foul cuz, like you said, Dwill got nothing but body.
DeleteRox lucky Nets' shooting sux 2nite.
ReplyDeleteWeird did I just see BKN fans cheer for Delfino's 3?
ReplyDeleteHarden will keep the ball in his hands now
ReplyDeleteSausage just in time!
ReplyDeleteWow big 2 from Delfino.
ReplyDelete4 possession game now with 1min left.
CARLOS DELFINO!
ReplyDeleteThe beard plays the clock and makes a 3!
ReplyDeleteSausage man with two daggers and Harden with a nail to close the coffin on the Nets.
ReplyDeleteHarden is just money. LOL 9pt lead now.
ReplyDeleteBig game James!
DeleteClutch shots by Delfino and Harden... Rox sweep the Nets! Man I hate DWill.
DeleteSeems like Harden has borowed Lins glasses tonight. Hope hes gonna give it back to Lin.
ReplyDeleteFinally! We got this one . Harden and delfino did a good job.
ReplyDeleteMichael poked Lin, wondering what was he saying lol
ReplyDeleteMchale
DeleteMove the ball to James.
DeleteHarden, cold blooded, game over.
ReplyDeleteWaste some time - dont foul. Game over.
ReplyDeleteThat 3 from harden is not really necessary.he just wanted to be hero. Just happy he made the shot
ReplyDeleteOk, now I'm feeling a bit better! :) We just can't afford to lose a game like this. Lin didn't have a good game, but that's fine. Tomorrow is another day.
ReplyDeleteOn the bright side.. Knicks lose by 2 lol
ReplyDeleteWatch Harden give an assist to Lin for a 3PT here
ReplyDeleteoops.. Hack-A-Lin here
DeleteCant really hack Lin :) Too good a FT shooter :) ROX!!!
DeleteGame is over.
ReplyDeleteBoth NY teams lost tonight. The worst being the Knicks who were talking like they were the best team in the East and is going to contend Miami for the title. Bwwwaaahhh.
ReplyDelete:) And the anouners... talking about Nets containing Linsanity and stuff. Yeah he wasnt doing too well and he still won :) ROX!!!
DeleteYeah, he wasn't in the flow tonight. He was trying to facilitate tonight and end up causing some TO's for himself. His shots weren't falling tonight, but he did have a clutch 2 in the 4th quarter.
Deletenow back to my optimism..
ReplyDeleteJeremy with tired legs (short on jumpers) but he's actually playing a solid game overall.
ReplyDeleteYou can't just boxscore-watch. His help defense is Lincredible as always and the few shots he did make weren't easy.
And his 6 assists are (as usual) nowhere near reflective of his playmaking. He had at least 4 dimes blown by clumsy teammates/bad refs.
Resting Lin too much in 3Q seems to take him out of the game.
DeleteThis was like a 2011-13 Jason Kidd game.
DeleteIf you don't believe in intangibles, ask yourself how this game was won with Harden not on fire.
Bench shooting, hockey assists and defense.
I agree 101%.those passes made the difference.gave smith and DMo a lot of points...
DeleteLin also lost his groove after being pulled with 4 min left in the 1Q.
DeleteHe was rolling with those slick assists!
Glad I'm not the only one who sees this! We JLin fans tend to be tough on our guy (the Asian way).
DeleteFor example, the Delfino 3 to clinch the game was created by Jeremy driving the lane making the hocket assist -- collapse D, dish to Asik, swing to open Delfino.

Jeremy had a fairly low usage tonight, so he could be fine by tomorrow.
WOWOWOWOW!!!!
ReplyDeleteMCHALE CLAPPED FOR LIN WHEN HE DREW THE FOUL!!!!!
OMG OMG OMG WHAT THE HECK?!?!
LOL not a very climatic game?
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteMcHale seems to have fallen in love with Lin after the OKC game. Now he claps even if Lin has a "bad" game. He even said nice things about Lin. WTF? Ill take that!
DeleteLes said to McHale, "I'll trade you to the Kings if u didn't play Lin"
DeleteNow the charade is over and they don't have to shop TD, McHale needs to support Lin because Beverly isn't going to get it done.
DeleteThe Nets announcers had a great observation.
Delete"The Rockets going with Lin [handling the ball] when you'd think they go to Harden."
McHale is becoming a believer. He sees that Jeremy is a positive even when his stats don't look good (like J-Kidd or even Derek Fisher in his prime).
willy man he even brought him back in at 8min mark.
DeleteI about died of shock, was expect more like 6min or less.
@Psalm: LOL!!!!
DeleteKenoshi, McHale looked at the end of the bench and saw no TD :}
DeleteBut yeah, that was great when he put Lin in when the game was about to get out of hand. The defense definitely tightened up after that. Lin's offense was okay today, perhaps due to fatigue.
@psalm LOL @ both your comments...
DeleteHahaha no TD...
I didn't see the first half, but wow does Lin look slow 2nd half. Wonder if he is coming down with something, his face looks flushed too.
Great they won! I hope they're not too fatigued for the game tomorrow. Although it sounds like the bench did great.
DeleteHarden and Lin looked tired today. They also still learn to play with DMo and Anderson but Delfino sausages were huge today!!!!!
DeleteThose 5pts in the crunch time were money-makers!
I'm also happy Lin was not afraid to make that huge 2PT jumper in the end!
Haha that's an excellent montage psalm.
Deletehaha thanks!
DeleteThe game was so entertaining. I got my wife jeering DMo to go to the bench :D
And my son jumping around the TV blocking my views ;D
@Kenoshi:
DeleteI know - I dont get it either but I like it :)
Maybe Les said to McHale "If you play Beverly too much Im gonna trade both of you :)
BTW:
Overall Lin had an OK game. I think sausage matched his career high. It doesnt always have to be HardLin. Lin looked slow because he was observing the other team at times - see if he can lure them into blocking his driving lane and benefit from that and... He contributed. Rox won.
Live by the 3 tonight. Both took 30 shots. Rox got 6 more than Nets.
ReplyDeleteSo mchale now loves the TRIO? Lin ( the face) parsons (the hair) and harden ( the facial hair)!!!llove the pictures in tumblr..u gotta see this.
ReplyDeleteSorry, i don't have it.maybe via?? just go to jeremy lin tunblr.calling via, sos..
DeleteLin looks super tired, I guess 42 min is just too much. plus he can not make the 3, means extra energy needed for the drive.
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a man that has the wind knocked out of him. I wonder if he broke up with his secret girlfriend.
DeleteAnd I don't mean TD...
Anderson sometimes refused to pass to Lin, weird.
DeleteLOL it probably is because he's missing TD.
Delete"I don't even feel like lacing up tonight."
Maybe JLin is a bit under the weather. Someone mentioned on twitter that he was sick with a cold since the OKC game.
DeleteHe probably would have liked to take it to the rim more, but the refs were letting guards on both teams get hammered inside.
DeleteAlso, Jeremy's feeling some swag on his jumper: "I don't care if I miss 5 in a row...I'm gonna keep shooting."
And I like that attitude. It's what all the great shooters do. Harden included. They often start 2-9 and finish 8-17.
Good thing the schedule is pretty light for the following week.
DeleteLove how McHale gave Beverley some props at the end of the game. Never seen such PDA toward Lin.
ReplyDeleteAt least Denver lost tonight... Pretty sure golden state (playin spurs) and utah (playin clips tom) will follow. I really believe that Houston can get to the 5th seed, so that they have a chance to get out the first round against Memphis.
ReplyDeleteI feel they will at most to 6th, but WTH, maybe you are right.
DeleteHehe going to fight for 7th next...If Jazz loses tonight.
DeleteLakers vs Blazers next...You know that one is going to heat up!
ReplyDeleteWizards?
DeleteLin did say he was catching a cold last game.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope he recovers quickly.
