Anyone watch the Clippers broadcast and the pre-game show? lol
The studio commentators were questioning Lin's contract and said $8 million = All-star contract. Of course one of them used his current stats to ask that question. But then they asked Kiki Vandeweghe, who was on the court, about Lin being overpaid. He schooled them saying that Lin adds a lot of things to the Rockets, including defense and being a playmaker. He also reminded them of Lin's market value.
I told you it wouldn't get better without Harden. Instead of Harden trying to be PG, right now it just become Parsons and Delfino trying to be PG. 2 turnovers between them already. And even without Harden, they still wouldn't trust Lin with the ball.
And yeah Delfino is as bad of a defender as Harden.
9 points already. At this rate, he's going to beat his career. Maybe Harden can miss the rest of the season. Ha ha ha! Is that wrong? About as wrong as McHale taking Lin out for no reason.
no he is sticking with his usual routine minutes whether Harden is there or not. Lin is playing well .. but of course he takes him out. How can we as fans voice our displeasure? McHale is such an asshole
So... what happens when the threes are not falling? You DIE! Pretty much. I hope Lin turns it around. He is playing good, but if the shoots are no falling they are not falling. There were like 3 assists from Lin on missed threes.
WOW... I guess this had to happen at least once this season. Rockets have blown everyone out. Let's see what we do... This is only the first quarter. The team... wait is it even a team right now? IDK. But, those shots are not falling and everything the Clippers shoot is falling.
Jeremy picked up two quick fouls because none of his teammates are playing defense.
He needs to say "Eff it" and stay in the game. The only chance they have to make this close is for Jeremy to go off (like he is) and the Clips to go ice cold on offense thanks to cockiness or fouls.
i'm trying to not blame individual//mchale, maybe his coaching staff needs to get off the groupthink with the subs in this game.
i'm thinking his coaching staff needs to point out or speak up with the fact lin can be hidden on defense if butler is playing. have someone waste fouls on their opposing PGs.
Delfino... if you arent going to even raise your arm to defend. GET OUT OF THE GAME! McHale! Stand up for your word and BENCH EVERYONE that doesn't defend. Even if it means to playing 48 minutes with just 5 players. I WOULD IF I WERE THE COACH!
This game may be over by the fourth quarter. This conveniently provides McHale with an excuse to take out Lin and put in the backups. Can't have Lin playing more than 30 minutes after all, even if Harden is out.
it's the fouls. staff doesn't want him to pick up his 3rd. they need to protect him by either letting the referees have it or switch him off defending paul
If they wanted to keep this game close they would have game planned for Lin to take over the game. Obviously, they didn't game plan for anything. Beverly is a rookie and should not get heavy minutes right now. It's okay to take Jlin out with 2 fouls the 1st Quarter, but it's then 2nd Quarter. It's time to put him back in, he SHOULD have STARTED the 2nd quarter.
If the coaches tell JLIN, okay Jlin just make the offensive play and take over the scoring load. He will do it just like the 1st quarter. 2nd quarter it looks like they want him to get more ball movement by him camping in the corner.
JLIN gets fouled by Odom first and foremost..and Hollins see's Jlin falling he decides to kick him and push him to the ground. That should be a FLAGRANT Foul...
Lets get to it
ReplyDeleteGO JLIN!
DeleteGO JLIN TEACH CP3 AND BLEDSOE A FEW LESSONS!!!
DeleteGO LINSANE!!!
Anyone watch the Clippers broadcast and the pre-game show? lol
ReplyDeleteThe studio commentators were questioning Lin's contract and said $8 million = All-star contract.
Lets go rockets lets go Linsanity
ReplyDeleteI like how both games Harden's been out this season, it's against top 4 teams.
ReplyDeleteI'm being sarcastic.
3 for lin :)
ReplyDelete3 for Parsons!
ReplyDelete2 dumb TOs already. C'mon guys.
ReplyDeleteLin was smiling before the game. A really good sign!!!
ReplyDeleteAsik with a nice move.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, where's the defense ??? Clippers have hit their first 7 shots in a row.
ReplyDeleteWow messy plays.
ReplyDeleteDown by 5 already.
Make that 8.
Non-existent perimeter defense is killing them.
It took Coach McFail 10 minutes to realize the other team isn't missing any shots.
DeleteNow 10 shots in a row for the Clippers. Stop letting them shoot wide open 3's.
ReplyDeleteI told you it wouldn't get better without Harden. Instead of Harden trying to be PG, right now it just become Parsons and Delfino trying to be PG. 2 turnovers between them already. And even without Harden, they still wouldn't trust Lin with the ball.
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah Delfino is as bad of a defender as Harden.
Delfino plays like a rookie. I'd rather have James Anderson at shooting guard.
DeleteI was thinking the same thing. Better ball movement.
Deletehope they don't' get blown out by 30.
ReplyDeletethat might just happen.
Deletethis 3 PG system is just not working, they need to let Lin take over.
Lin had a nice drive on CP3 but _JUST_ missed the layup. That ball hung on the rim and almost fell in.
ReplyDeleteword of advice, watch the game on mute, it'll feel less painful.
ReplyDeleteOnly one big guy on the bench, Cole. This doesn't look good.
ReplyDeleteThey better let Lin get his swag. Im ready! Lets go!
ReplyDeleteIs he trying to hit a home run?
ReplyDeleteDam, Linsanity anybody?
ReplyDeleteLol Staples center cheering for Lin.
ReplyDeleteClippers killin' them outside and stopping them in return. This is getting sad.
Rockets bigs need to keep their head on a swivel and keep DeAndre out of the paint. Come on!
ReplyDeleteLin missed two layups but both were solid drives. He got fouled on one of them.
announcer: he is not bad
ReplyDeletesmh
how about good? above average? why "not bad"?
*sigh*
DeleteRox not doing bad. Still trying to figure out who to guard.
ReplyDeletestaying in to watch Jlin play bullyball.
ReplyDeleteGive Lin the ball dammit.
ReplyDeleteopen 3, bricked by parsons with assist by jlin
ReplyDeletepaul getting picked, draws contact from jlin with and 1
ReplyDeleteJeremy killing it already. But his teammates need to step it up.
ReplyDeleteThey aren't making shots or playing smart defense.
Try to tell that to Chandler "the superstar wannabe" Parsons.
Deleteasik getting post play--stalls and plays it back out to jlin, jlin aggressive as heck! nice, gets to charity stripe
ReplyDeleteHarden's soul possessing Lin's body.
ReplyDeleteLin with a Har_en-ese showing the ball drive into the paint.
ReplyDeletepaul, picks jlin again, griffing beats delfino to hustle.
ReplyDeletejlin slow reaction
bad pass by jlin, telegraphed
Sad I don't know why no one went for that loose ball. They just don't want this win.
ReplyDeleteAnd CP with a steal off lin.
They are playing like they're already beat.
DeleteNobody on the Rockets has Lin's back. They only follow Harden... who isn't playing tonight.
DeleteIt seems like the Rockets are playing scared without Har_en.
DeleteLin can dominate but the only problem is he has the best PG in the league as his matchup.
and jlin gets taken out
ReplyDeleteLin goes out with his 2nd foul. He needs to watch it.
ReplyDeleteCheap call on Lin and now he has 2 fouls. NBA refs fucking shit up again.
ReplyDeleteThey want to beat Rockets 3pt record tonight.
ReplyDeleteIts obvious.
9 points already. At this rate, he's going to beat his career. Maybe Harden can miss the rest of the season. Ha ha ha! Is that wrong? About as wrong as McHale taking Lin out for no reason.
ReplyDeletelin had two fouls.
Deleteparsons trying to pass to cutting beverly. even if he completes that, is that even a high percentage play? weird decision making.
ReplyDeleteparsons shouldn't be passing to anyone. bev's the pg here.
DeleteLin 1 fouls
ReplyDeletedo you guys see this b.s? this is one game Jeremy should play more minutes. He is still sticking with his usual routine. Asshole
ReplyDeletelook how big the lead got when lin left...
Deleteoops, my bad, he only has 1 foul too...???? WTF.
He has 2.
DeleteLong game guys, Long game... Let's see what happens.
Deleteno he is sticking with his usual routine minutes whether Harden is there or not. Lin is playing well .. but of course he takes him out. How can we as fans voice our displeasure? McHale is such an asshole
DeleteI wouldn't be surprised if there is long stretch of rest between 3rd and 4th ... they need to keep lin in there to keep the game close.
DeleteLin had too many points, so the refs had to step in and get him in foul trouble.
ReplyDelete23 - 36
ReplyDeleteWow.
Blowout game.
LOL Anderson got baited by CP3.
He got hypnotized by the crossovers.
Deletewhy not bev and lin with delfino out? let bev defend paul?
ReplyDeletemchale lack of plasticity in trying out new ideas.
This is a good idea, if McHale will allow it.
DeleteSo... what happens when the threes are not falling? You DIE! Pretty much. I hope Lin turns it around. He is playing good, but if the shoots are no falling they are not falling. There were like 3 assists from Lin on missed threes.
ReplyDeleteLin can't win by himself.
DeleteEven if he gets 50pts, the rate Clippers are scoring they'll still blow out Rox by 30+ pts.
I know, that's why I'm saying that no one is making the threes. Clippers can just double team Lin the whole game and win.
DeleteUnbelievable. No respect at all for lin's game Mchale
ReplyDeleteThe Rockets might break the record for most points giving up in 1st quarter, especially now with Lin out.
ReplyDeleteAnd that superstar Parsons is being schooled on both ends of the floor.
Sorry Lin 2 fouls
ReplyDeleteNo game plan by Rockets' coaching.
ReplyDeleteGame plan is give the ball to Harden but he's out tonight.
DeleteLin has two fouls in the first quarter and taking him out was the right move. I love bashing McHale too but get some basketball knowledge first.
ReplyDeleteLol 2:40 left 1st quarter and its 23-39
ReplyDeletethis is embarassing
Okay, bev making smoe plays. Expect Jeremy to sit for a while. Any excuse not to put in Lin, Mchale will take.
ReplyDeleteDelfino doesn't even raise his hands to contest.
ReplyDeleteLOL
16/19, ok if hou keeps this within 10, clips have to endure some regression to the mean.
ReplyDeleteThis team is in total disarray
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDelete0 perimeter D
These guys are terrible.
They deserve to get beat this bad.
Lord, just let Jeremy play his game and see what happens. Don't try to stifle him! Even if they lose, it will be an exciting game. Sigh...
ReplyDelete46 points?? wow do we play any defense?
ReplyDeleteOnly Jeremy. And Asik in the half-court.
DeleteSo ughm yah.. Lin gets to 9 points quickly then dissapear... at least thus far.
ReplyDeleteWithout Jeremy, the Rockets are lost.
ReplyDeleteAt least CP3 just got his 2nd foul.
WOW... I guess this had to happen at least once this season. Rockets have blown everyone out. Let's see what we do... This is only the first quarter. The team... wait is it even a team right now? IDK. But, those shots are not falling and everything the Clippers shoot is falling.
ReplyDeleteLet's see what Lin and the Rockets are made of. Lin is a competitor so I'm expecting him to fall (if he falls) fighting with everything he has.
DeleteDoes McHale teach any defense? Holy cow.
ReplyDeleteWow - must be fun to be clippers fan right now.
ReplyDeleteAt this point I think McHale should let Lin sit. Let McHale watch HIS favorites play...
ReplyDeleteGood first quarter for Lin except for two fouls (didn;t realize he had two so chill da fuck out Redking).
ReplyDeleteDon't like this democratic ball with harden out. Too many TO's by Delfino and Parsons.
Jeremy picked up two quick fouls because none of his teammates are playing defense.
ReplyDeleteHe needs to say "Eff it" and stay in the game. The only chance they have to make this close is for Jeremy to go off (like he is) and the Clips to go ice cold on offense thanks to cockiness or fouls.
Jeremy needs to learn that the refs really hate him on the road. They will whistle him for anything.
DeleteIt's already a blowout in the 1st Quarter, 46 points by the Clippers. That's what happens when they don't close out on 3's.
ReplyDeleteI hope this game shows morey and rockets organization that Mchale CANNOT COACH. You think getting Dwight off season will change things?
ReplyDeleteDefense wins championships. This gimmicky offense doesn't work
Morey Ball. They shoot lots of 3's, they miss lots of 3's, they don't get back on defense. Game over.
Deletei'm trying to not blame individual//mchale, maybe his coaching staff needs to get off the groupthink with the subs in this game.
ReplyDeletei'm thinking his coaching staff needs to point out or speak up with the fact lin can be hidden on defense if butler is playing. have someone waste fouls on their opposing PGs.
They need to give Jlin the full GREEN LIGHT! Stop with this BS set play for Parsons who's stone cold right now.
ReplyDeleteVery awful ROCKET TEAM DEFENSE, except for Jlin who's doing all he can on defense.
forwards CAN'T GUARD!
ReplyDeletelin still seating ... told you
ReplyDeleteWOW WDF!?!?! JLIN starting on the bench of the 2nd quarter? Who cares about the 2 fouls, put him in the game.
ReplyDeleteLin sits 2nd quarter.
ReplyDeleteMcHale gave up already.
stream froze, is lin starting second qtr?
ReplyDeletebut reports will say how harden did not play and thats the reason rox lost.
ReplyDeleteMchale didn't give up. he think the rox have a better chance with LIn on the bench.
ReplyDeletewhy is he on the bench =/
ReplyDeleteCuz Lin's scoring is too high.
DeleteBad defense is forgivable when the 3s are falling.
ReplyDeleteLook at Lin.. How can he take this shit.
ReplyDeleteNow we know what Warriors felt
ReplyDeleteThis 3 BALL Offense of the Rockets is what's going to kill them. When your team is cold shooting 3's you need something else to get guys going.
ReplyDeleteWhat's also killing rox is they have no plan on D.
Deletewhere is the fave son? is anderson better than dmo at this point?
ReplyDeleteI'm confused
Delfino... if you arent going to even raise your arm to defend. GET OUT OF THE GAME! McHale! Stand up for your word and BENCH EVERYONE that doesn't defend. Even if it means to playing 48 minutes with just 5 players. I WOULD IF I WERE THE COACH!
ReplyDeleteBeverley is going to get more minutes. Gauaranteed.
ReplyDeleteThis game may be over by the fourth quarter. This conveniently provides McHale with an excuse to take out Lin and put in the backups. Can't have Lin playing more than 30 minutes after all, even if Harden is out.
ReplyDeleteRox gave up on this already.
ReplyDeleteThey LOVE Beverly because they think he can shoot better 3's than Lin. But he doesn't offer anything else to help the Rockets win the ball game.
ReplyDeleteI'm at the game. Finally got in and then jeremys benched.
ReplyDeleteDie by the three. There is no offense. Throw it up and pray it goes in.
ReplyDeleteYou can play LIn now McHale.
ReplyDeleteGET JEREMY BACK IN THE GAME
ReplyDeleteMy God. You unbelievable moron of a coach.
good clippers getting overconfident. come on now!
ReplyDeleteGuys tell me is beverley playing that much better than LIn to deserve more minutes?
ReplyDeleteNo.
DeleteLin picked up 2 fouls in the 1st quarter. If he gets his 3rd foul in the 2nd quarter ... he will be on the way to fouling out of the game.
DeleteRefs don't treat Lin like a superstar. They will call fouls for any contact he makes. They treat him like a scrub.
Bev made a 3.
ReplyDeleteLin is coming 2nd half.
Lin must be the most well rested starting PG in the LEAGUE. What did Jeremy do to deserve this benching?
ReplyDeleteAssuming McHell doesn't want Lin to get over 20pts, we won't see Lin until 2nd quarter almost ends.
ReplyDeleteBev almost going to get more mins than Lin.
ReplyDeleteBeverly made end up with more minutes played in this game than JLin. That would be ironic.
ReplyDeleteits one thing if jeremy is playing bad. But he did well the first quarter. WTF?
ReplyDeleteit's the fouls. staff doesn't want him to pick up his 3rd. they need to protect him by either letting the referees have it or switch him off defending paul
DeleteWtF when is Lin coming in ???
ReplyDeleteIf they wanted to keep this game close they would have game planned for Lin to take over the game.
ReplyDeleteAgree, there is nothing new here today knowing Harden is hurt.
DeleteLin started out too hot for McHale. Got to sit him down, get him cold, have him back to being a singles hitter.
ReplyDeleteYeah I hate McHale 's minutes. No need to sit lin in the middle of 1st. Let him finish the 1st quarter espeically if he is playing well
DeleteJeremy just play like this is your last game. You do not get many chances in this offense.
ReplyDeletefinally, someone recognizes playing the two PGS
ReplyDeleteSee, Bev is playing the 1 and Lin the 2.
ReplyDeleteJeremy lin is in now. I can smell double double today!
ReplyDeleteLin just scoots into the corner.
ReplyDeleteI'm done with McHale.
very nice ball movement as jlin parked in the corner
ReplyDeleteNice job Morris!
ReplyDeleteWOW Beverly running point? Parson on the top wing spot while Jlin stays on the corner? I really don't get this offensive sets...
ReplyDeleteThis is seriously a coaching staff & McHale decision. They don't believe in Jlin.
Deleteso bev is the pg even with Lin??? wow! :-(
ReplyDeleteThis is effin sad. They still don't let Lin play the point.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide whether I want the Rockets to get blown out to expose McHale's Har_en-less lack of coaching or have this game close so Lin gets PT... ?
ReplyDeletejlin taking on bledsoe, picked him again. good defense to force it to their weakest clip on the court, hollins
ReplyDeleteThe Clippers announcer keeps calling Marcus Morris ... Markief Morris. That is the only thing that is funny tonight :(
ReplyDeleteWhy bev run the pg position?
ReplyDeletejlin open 3, bricks it, great movement
ReplyDeleteJeremy Lin offense camp on the corner even without Harden...
ReplyDeletejlin decoy on previous offensive set. delfino bricks a screen
ReplyDeleteTime for Jeremy to say eff it and start playing his game.
ReplyDeleteJSUT DARE MDCHALE TO SIT YOU.
Deletejlin watches parsons get stuffed
ReplyDeleteLin is not even attacking.
ReplyDeleteWhat is gong on?
He's coooooooooooooold.
DeleteHome team refs. Two blown calls.
ReplyDeletethis clipper crowd oohs and aahs at crossover--very easily impressed. i have yet see something productive from those fancy dribbling.
ReplyDeleteHe faked out Bev which isn't really much of an accomplishment.
DeleteIf the coaches tell JLIN, okay Jlin just make the offensive play and take over the scoring load. He will do it just like the 1st quarter. 2nd quarter it looks like they want him to get more ball movement by him camping in the corner.
ReplyDeleteJeremy needs Harden's attitude. Just attack..
ReplyDeletelol, another ooh and ahh---result is an airball
ReplyDeleteGood defense by JLIN on Crawford...
ReplyDeleteThey are just showboating at Rox expense.
ReplyDeleteThey are trying not to blow them out too bad (Clippers).
jlin full court pressed, gets hammered..no foul but it sets up an offensive board after jlin clears the clipper defender
ReplyDeleteWOW NO FOUL CALL ON THAT!?!?! JLIN ALMOST GOT HIS HEAD CUT OFF...HIS BACK IS HURT.
ReplyDeleteThat was totally fcked up.
Deletejlin run out against clippers. regression to the mean in full effect
ReplyDeleteJeremy needs to just attack .. that is how he breaks down defense;.
ReplyDeletejlin probes paint, gets stalled, morris bricked for 3
ReplyDeleteWTF?
ReplyDeleteWow kicked by Hollins lol absolutely no respect.
ReplyDeleteKicked him right in front of the refs. Azz.
ReplyDeleteRYAN HOLLINS KICKS & PUSHES JLIN. WOW...THIS IS CRIMINAL...
ReplyDeleteTHE REFS NEED TO PROTECT JLIN...HIS BACK IS BOTHER HIM YOU CAN TELL...
Yeah you can't stand that the asian kid is ballin.. right.. just kick him. That is a fragrant if I evere saw one.
ReplyDeletehollins kicks lin on purpose after lin strips him
ReplyDeleteWTF?
where is teh enforcer for rockets? nobody comes to give hollins a shove. parsons just looks down.
they need a ron artest to protect lin
Morris is the enforcer but he only backs Bev.
DeleteI will completely lose respect for Rox if they dont return the favor...
DeleteWTF!!!
ReplyDeleteWho else gets hammered and kicked by two guys like Lin...
I want to effen kill that mofo Hollins.
ReplyDeleteOmg, seriously no foul on that play? And they called a foul on simple touch foul? Fk these refs. This is maddening.
ReplyDeleteDumbass Ryan Hollins doing a cheap shot right in FRONT of the ref.
ReplyDeleteAre they trying to kill LIN!? No call in the layup!? Are you seriously going to tell me there was no foul there!? WOW!!! These is a bad one.
ReplyDeleteLol clippers playing bench for like 8 mins into quarter. They can leave them out there and they'll beat Rockets.
ReplyDeleteIs this a soccer game or basketball...???
ReplyDeleteLin's D is too good!!
ReplyDeleteClippers are HAMMERING Jeremy.
ReplyDeleteTrying to physically injure him to get him out of the game.
Glad the refs correctly called a TECH this time. Jeremy was fouled on an earlier drive as well (though it led to a putback dunk).
a tech? That is fragrant 1
DeleteSee? Nobody will protect Lin but Lin himself. He is alone out there surrounded by fake friends and teammates.
ReplyDeleteIf the same thing happened to the Clippers its gonna be a messy big fight out there
WHERE WAS HIS DAMN TEAMMATES TO GET HIS BACK....
Deletewhere is the coaching staff talking to the refs about the kick?
ReplyDeletecome on, at least protect the highest paid rocket on the court
Hopefully it will wake Lin up - things like this seems to take him to another level.
ReplyDeleteThe effen refs today are so effen dumb. Contact like crazy but no call. So effen pissed.
ReplyDeleteI am watching a soccer match....where people kick ;)
ReplyDeleteJLIN gets fouled by Odom first and foremost..and Hollins see's Jlin falling he decides to kick him and push him to the ground. That should be a FLAGRANT Foul...
ReplyDelete
