  2. Er was that a block, how did JLin miss that layup?!

    1. Guess it was a block, that drive was really slow, wonder why he slowed down towards the board...

  3. Ugly trey :/ Sigh lin reverting to that bad shot form...

    ReplyDelete
  4. Lin will prolly go to the bench now...Playing very hesitant.

    ReplyDelete
  5. lin is a 0 factor on the court so far

    ReplyDelete
  6. Things starting out slow as usual and again no help defense. Minnesota going to the rack at will. Houston interior defense is non existence.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Lets go Lin. Had he made that foot was on line anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  8. I'm convinced now this team can't and won't defend any nba teams, its been lay ups after lay ups and meanwhile asik missed 2 lay ups and Lin don't get ball back once ball leaves, looks familiar guys

    ReplyDelete
  9. Wow that was quick, steal then layup go Lin!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Same old problem for the Rockets.

Parsons pretended to be a PG and turned the ball over and got lit up on the other end.

Asik with the bad hands and weak layups.

Lin and Harden missing from 3 point land.

    Patterson never rebounded.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Harden's D is pissing me off, he's cost them 6 points already.

    ReplyDelete

    1. He has been playing like he got no more energy.

      Delete
    2. But Lin missing from 3 will be blamed.

      Delete
  12. Same old sh!t on a different day. Let's go Lin!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Lin not feeling it. Missed all three of his 3 point attempts. He is being subbed by Beverly.

    ReplyDelete
  14. After 6 losses, nothing has change with the rockets game plan. Morey and Les should think about a coaching change.

    ReplyDelete
  15. lin's really struggling from three

they gonna leave him open all night

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If he keeps missing those open 3s, it's going to cost him his starting job.

      Delete
  16. 1/5 sigh...

Plz stop with the corner 3s get in rhythm first for goodness sakes Lin :/

    ReplyDelete

    1. And he stepped on the line 2x anyway lmao so only 1 was counted as a missed 3.

      LOLOLOLOL

  17. Asik handling the ball more than Jeremy so far. Seriously.

I think Parsons is the PG now. Jeremy is a combo forward, lol.

Seriously, he just stands in the corner waiting for someone to see him.

    1. McHale's genius moves:

      -Turn Jeremy into a spot-up 3pt shooter.

      -Make Parsons the point guard.

-Make Harden more ball dominant than MJ and Lebron combined.

Season over. Linsanity on hold until McHale is FIRED or WHIPPED into shape by Les.

      Delete
    2. well said. Plus he benches TD for no reason. TD is a very good player on this team. He's a better fit than Beverly.

      Delete
    3. Nobody is going to fire McHale, he have to step down himself. The guy just lost a daughter this season. And we still have Sampson waiting after McHale, not much difference anyway

      Delete
    4. Yeah, I hate to mention that, but it's true. I bet you anything Les and Morey want to fire McHale but are afraid to because of the potential PR nightmare.

Then again, I can see him "mutually departing" a la Alvin Gentry. Sampson can be canned without a peep.

      Delete
  18. Lin is just not a spot up shooter. He needs to drive or dribble and then shoot the 3. His percentage is way way higher. In NYC he was 34% from 3 as a starter.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 1/5 even wide open , struggling again lol

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He's a point guard. Not a shooting guard.

I'm almost glad he's struggling...Rockets will lose and McHale will be fired. Harden Hero Ball and Parsons Worship will die as a result.

  20. I'm going to scream if Minny wins...Like almost half their roster is not available.

    1. This game surely feels like a Rockets loss.

      Delete
  21. Brick brick brick Harden. Struggling at the FT line too.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Looks like TD has lost his job to Beverly.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That sucks. I really like TD tenacity and defense and he works well with Lin.

      Delete
    2. I like TD better than Beverly too. Not really fair to TD. When TD plays well with Lin and Harden team wins.

      Delete
    3. McHale is such a playa. It's like he saw a hot and more exciting girl for this week and dump the old. Poor TD, he didn't do anything to deserve being benched.

      Delete
    4. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Beverly is just show.

      Delete
  23. Heh Lin is basically Landry Fields right now on Rox.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Beverley is REALLY BAD defending PnRs...

    ReplyDelete
  25. Lol Kirilinko is just taking advantage of Rox weak post presence.

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's hilarious how clueless McHale is.

NOTHING has changed in six games. He's doing the same thing over and over and blaming "fatigue" for the losses like a weasel. Ah yes, because no other team in the NBA has to play games back-to-back, lol.

Jeremy still playing the Derek Fisher role...Harden and Parsons still untouchable. It's time to fire McHale and Sampson. Let Chris Finch be interim coach and interview Dave Blatt as your prime candidate.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Lol which genius coach design this set that all Rockets PGs must stand in the corner?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. And wait for the 3 point shot? Why not signing Ray Allen or Steve Novak for this role instead of every PG?

      Delete
  28. I love lin, thats why i got league pass but Lin keeps putting up bricks from the 3

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But the refs were trying to count them as 2 pointers so hes only missed one 3.

      Delete
  29. 1st quarter summary:

    - Lin reduced to spot up 3 shooter, 1/5, stepped on the line 2x lol
    - Sucky defense as always
    - Harden 2-6, still bricking and isoing
    - Just not a fun game to watch

    ReplyDelete
  30. With that amount of bricks the ROX puts up, they can build a house soon..

    ReplyDelete

    1. Shes a brick - brabrabra - houssse - dabadab...

  31. TD already loss his job to Beverly. It's starting to look like Lin might lose his job to Beverly also.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Minnie without Shved/Love/Pekovic and fresh Rubio is keeping ahead of Rox...

Wow all those missed 3s by Parsons and bench...LOL

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm just glad Minnie is playing like garbage otherwise it'd be another blowout.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Can't wait to hear 48 minutes of Houston's announcers riding the jockstraps of Harden and Chandler... huuuuuuraaayyyyy.....

    ReplyDelete
  35. Beverley got to play some minutes without Harden. Lol he only got to touch the ball and shoot without Harden. When he's with Harden, he also did nothing but stand in the corner.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Can't say McHale is wrong it play Beverley over TD. It seems like Beverley is playing hard and wants it more and there is a positive result on the floor.

He cutting into Lin's minutes more and more.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Beverley has the luck to play without Harden. No such luck for Lin.

      Delete
    2. Why did they even get beverley? TD was doing fine. Rockets need a good forward and a new philosophy.
I like their transitional plan but too many damn three's and not enough pick and roll.
Rox are fast losing me as a fan.

      Delete
  37. 2 alley oop play already for the wolves. That's more alley oop than the rockets whole season so far.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Looks like Beverley is auditioning for Jlin job.. c'mon Jlin

    ReplyDelete

    1. If only Lin gets to play some mins without Harden. He's played every min of his with Harden so far.

    2. Wonder how Jlin will go with beverley on the court ?

      Delete
  39. I wonder what happens when (not if) the 3 's go in - Rockets blow out teams by 30 together with running game, McHale gets Coach of the Year nominations.... gotta get the 3's tho.

BTW that was a great pick, wish Lin could have some of that.

      Delete
  41. dang...only if lin could have the ball in his hands like barrea

    ReplyDelete
  42. The rockets are probably the worst team in the NBA in setting screens. They set very lazy screens and moving screens. You don't see solid screens and picks like the Spurs.

    ReplyDelete
  43. So much for Beverley hype. People exaggerate everything for first like 5 minutes. In all seriousness though. How come Beverly can control the offense, ask for high pick and roll, do every thing he wants. Yet Lin is not supposed to do that?

I'm getting tired of this "Mchale System." It really isn't fun to watch these games. And I don't think that Lin and company are having much fun either. The only reason why I began to watch NBA again was because of Lin and because his games were FUN to watch. Also that he is Christian but that's besides the point. I want to have fun watching games again. Please McHale get out of the way. :(

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because Harden wasn't on the floor.

When Lin plays without Harden he gets picks set as well.

      Delete
    2. I honestly think there are quite a few teammates that are so jealous of Lins contract that they don't wish him play well and therefore won't make things easy for him

      Delete
    3. You make big assumption McHale is controlling lin and not Beverly. Maybe it's lin not being aggressive and making things happen like Beverly. Is that remotely possible?

      Delete
    4. Wildathrill, watch the last 3 minutes of the 1st quarter again. Beverley didn't make anything happen when he's on the court with Harden either.

      Delete
    5. Cool so it's not McHale for either just harden

      Delete
    6. McHale's gameplan is to let his PG no matter who he is stands in the corner when Harden is on the court. How is that not McHale?

      Delete
  44. Lol why was 4 of the Rox all bunched up on one side watching Harden?!?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Lins gettin schooles by Barera, then he blows a fast break lol

  46. Rockets leading by one point. Criticisers go back to the cess pit, tired of flies buzzing around the cow dung.

    ReplyDelete
  47. No assist for Jeremy so far. Just 2 points and 1 steal and no rebound.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Let's go Jeremy! Let's get a win to end the slide!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Lin not taking shot on that breakaway fast break a few minutes ago. Is that McHale again? What are the chances harden parsons Beverley doing that

    ReplyDelete
  50. I can't stand the way how the rockets show no love for each other and they only do that when they're winning.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Phantom foul on Lin by Rubio. Home court referee calls in Rubio favor. Lin has to goto the bench.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Horrible game, done watching, Harden 3/9 SMH.

Minnie breaking their 5 game losing streak.

    ReplyDelete
  53. This season is lost.

It was lost once they acquired Harden and made Jeremy Derek Fisher.

Burn, Houston, burn. You deserve this horrible, ugly, failure of a team.

I hope they hate on Jeremy so he gets traded...and watch him blow up on a team that lets him play PPOINT GUARD.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I have to agree with Khuang, I think the owner les likes Lin. I not sure what will happen if Lin really get traded. It could be worst or better. It's 50/50. So, I rather see some plan change than Lin get traded.

      Delete
    2. it can't be worse....all lin does is shoot corner threes. he's a freaking useless here..he could very well be doing the same thing elsewhere with better players..

      Delete
  54. There's no point watching any Rox games anymore regardless win or loss, Lin got benched again and I just hope coach bench hfor second half too and team get blown out! Something drastic has to happen in order for good change

    ReplyDelete
  55. Just got to watch the game a little bit. There's no ball movement at all. One pass and toss it for 3. There is no fluidity to the game at all. Waiting for 2nd half, hopefully Lin will get into it or it's another loss.

    1. Wait I thought Beverley only aggressive not playing with harden

      Delete
    2. Bro, are you even watching the game? The only 2 shots and 4 FTs Beverley took all came without Harden. He didn't get to shoot one single time when he's with Harden.

      Delete
    3. I am indeed watching the game. In the half court sets, Beverly doesn't eagerly pass it to Harden. Harden will be open and Beverly still tries to juke his man and then make an aggressive pass to someone else with a better chance at a high percentage shot.

      Delete
  57. Too depressing to watch. This game feels like the last 6 games. Fire mchale and sampson or watching the rockets is a total waste of time.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Beverly doesn't constantly pass to Harden. He drives and tries to make plays for anyone. Why doesn't Lin attack the basket. It's bizarre. He's faster than anyone out there.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The McHale reason is there if u want it. Lol

      Delete
    2. Lin always has the choice to play the right way, regardless of what McHale wants. Driving, scoring, and dishing are the right way for him to play. Spot up shooting is not. He is not a good spot up shooter at this point in his career so there's no way for him to help the team by playing as one. Ever. That will always be low percentage, non-winning basketball. If the staff doesn't want him to maximize what he does well, that's their choice and they can bench him. I've explained in the past that that will certainly hurt the staff more than him. Lin's got a 3 year contract which eats up significant cap space.

      Delete
    3. Something definitely going on behind the locker room. Lin must feel like he is the loneliest person right now. Hes not happy and not enjoying his minutes just heartbreaking.

      Delete
    4. What's kind of funny is that McHale claimed preseason he'd figure out what everyone does well and then go from there. Everyone on the planet knows what Lin does well, high pick and roll, high usage ball handler, end of game hero, yet he's not used for any of that. We've seen that be successful this year during the first couple of games and the San Antonio games, so we know it works even here, with less athletic wings and a less dominant pick and roll partner.

Houston has tried every thing under the sun, every player configuration. The only thing they HAVEN'T tried is what worked the first couple of games: Lin as a high usage point guard. This worked for Lin and it worked for Harden.

      Delete
    5. @Michael Unless "they" don't want Jeremy to succeed from the start

      Delete
    6. @Michael Terry, u speak very well. Make a lot sense. Hope Mchale can reads ur words.(I mean the Part u post at 6:17)

      Delete
    7. Hey Mike. Hope u know I'm agreeing with u. :). I'm also putting most of this on lin to make it happen, not the coaching. Coaching is a factor. But if you're a good player you're going to find a way to be good. Not have all conditions be favorable all the time. Hard concept to grasp for people here

      Delete
    8. @ wild that's not what Michael Sound. I guess we either read different or interpret different.

      Delete
    9. Oh, I know. I also think the McHale is bad. It never had to get to this. I believe that McHale is suffering from cognitive bias which prevents him from putting Lin in favorable positions. But, Lin is not helpless in the slightest here. There are simple things he can do that are completely under his controle and don't even require him improving any skills. He has leverage.

Did you know, the stat most highly correlated with pay in the NBA is shots TAKEN. I know it's counter intuitive and crazy, but you get respect for shooing. The points come with shots, efficient or not. Lin should be shooting more. After he's firmly establishes, THEN he can worry about efficient basketball. When he's indisputably the man and has every player on board with him, then he can play winning basketball.

      Delete
    10. I think deep down he is a good person and a good father, just not yet a good coach. Bias? maybe. my guess is he got his own game plan and wants jeremy to follow it and careless about what jlin is really capable of doing. I wonder if he watched some of jlin's games last year. But you know, jlin is not the center of the team, so it's not surprise if the game plan does not set to go through him. Nevertheless, no needs to particularly set it for jlin, but at least a game plan that works for everybody's potential. I don't know..that's my take...I put myself in his shoes too..it's not easy to be a coach too. Just hope this team is doing good, for jlin and for the coach too.

      Delete
  59. Beverley not stands in the corner watching Harden go iso. Lol let's blame him for not being aggressive too. Obviously this is McHale's offensive set when Harden's on the court.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I was thinking of going to Rockets game monday. But after seeing all the Lin fans in this game and how bored and disappointed they look. I prefer to have it for free than to pay for it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Beverley is playing with "there is nothing to lose"
mentality.. Jlin played like this last year...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Dude u haven't been paying attention here. Lin can't play like that because McHale holding him back or because he's on the floor with harden. Get on board. Lol

      Delete
  62. bench lin and trade him. anything to get away from mcfail and harden.

    #free lin.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Their goal is not to trade Lin, it is to destroy his NBA aspiration and career

      Delete
    2. it's so boring watching lin now. he's used as a boring role player. just pass the ball, don't turn it over, hit a few shots, hustle, and that's all.

      Delete
  63. Rubio gets every call and everyone already says he is going to be an allstar (even Houston staff). Meanwhile the guy is a less than 35% shooter, yes that right less than 35% career shooter and this year he is a 22%. This is probably the lowest of all the point guards and yet he gets a free pass (hmm...I wonder why??).

Lin on the other hand gets nailed every time he goes to the rim and does not get calls. Even Harden will get mauled before getting a call.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because NBA already package him as future all star just like Harden. Lin was anomaly

      Delete
    2. Exactly. NBA should still be helping Lin but for some reason they do not want to help him, which I find strange.

In any case, Lin will keep battling stereotypes. His mental toughness is in the top 0.1% in the world.

      Delete
  64. At this point they should all come together and win a game and blaming no body for the past lost. I cant believe the rockets turn out like this with good record just like few days ago. Can't take it..7game slide? Eer...

    ReplyDelete
  65. They need to give Lin the keys to the offense. I don't know what anyone has to lose specially Harden. Yes Lin can get 20 points but he is going to make every player better. Do you remember Linsanity? Remember when Lin made every player in the knicks better? That's what he can do. He got Fields and Novak a really good contract.

    ReplyDelete
  66. So far Lin 13 min 1/5 vs Beverly 10 min 0/2. Now Beverly star second half. Wow

    ReplyDelete
  67. Reporters... "What's wrong with the Rockets offense?" "Well they need Harden to get going." Harden, Harden, Harden. Hopefully someday they will realize that basketball is a team sports that requires quemistry. No one man can do it. Harden is not Michael Jordan.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. And Khuang said even Jordan can't do it himself.

      Delete
    2. True! as lin often said even during the linsanity stretch, basketball is a TEAM sport and he couldn't have done it alone

      Delete
  68. Beverley has taken Lin's job.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Jeremy benched to start the half.

    TRADE LIN

    FREE JEREMY

Any coach...even Keith Smart is better than this. At least Smart was burned by Lin's success once, so he'd be more scared to do it again. Also, the Kings' GM is an Ivy League grad, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  70. i'm rootin for the timberwolves!!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Wth, Beverly started 2nd half? Lol@mcHale

    ReplyDelete
  72. Management cares more about Harden getting his 20+pts a game more than winning. What has happened now is the whole team is not buying into how Mchale is coaching the team, that is why rockets are losing. I have a feeling we might have a coaching change real soon.BTW, I believe Beverly is playing to get him so experience in playing in NBA, because I have a feeling TD is going to be traded, and Beverly is going to be the backup.imo

    ReplyDelete
  73. Wow. Lin benched. This is gonna be interesting. Parsons out too. McHale has lost his mind.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Jlin will be back in 4th quarter with 2 min to play...

    ReplyDelete
  75. LoL, McHale is a dam fool. He looks lost coaching this team.

    ReplyDelete
  76. damn. just leave lin on the bench .

    ReplyDelete
  77. "Jeremy got the message he needs to play harder?" - Get a clue MATT BULLARD.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Poor Beverley. You are not taking your chances. 3 fouls in a row lol.

    ReplyDelete
  79. seriousl the commentators are annoying as hell. they seriously nitpick at lin

    ReplyDelete
  80. Still shooting 3s. Coach telling him to do that instead of attacking?

    ReplyDelete

    1. I can only hope Jeremy is PURPOSELY sabotaging that two-faced bastard.

"Lemme brick 3s and show Les/Morey how bad this coach is. Either they'll trade me for 'sucking' or fire McHale and Sampson. Either way, I win."

Ah, I wish Jeremy had that deviousness in him. Too nice.

    2. It's not something Lin normally does. But I don't think he wants to play hard for McHale anymore.

      Delete
    3. I know what you mean, Cara. You can see it in his body language.

He's just playing out the game. Like playing Monopoly with your in-laws, lol.

  82. I have no problems with Beverly or TD. They seem like great teammates. I have a serious problem with McHale and especially Sampson. They are perpetuating the 100% Harden theme. Even Harden may not even want the ball that much.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They tried anybody with Harden. But no matter what combinations that would fail, because anyone with eyes can see the root problem is Harden. Still either the coaching staff are blind or they would never try the obvious answer that is taking Harden out.

    1. Lin and TD have much better chemnistry and they both actually play team ball.

But - after watching McHale for so long Im sure he will find ways to screw it up. Either TD gets benched for Harden or Lin gets benched for Harden. Mchale will bench one of them for Harden. Wait and see!

But of course McHale will put in Harden to start the 4th.

TD never deserved this benching from McHale. He has been a major spark plug in a lot of the wins.
