  2. Blocking foul? Really? JLin is always held up like that!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Great D by JLin. Where's the help D. It would have been an easy block!

    ReplyDelete
  4. Great duel with Kyrie and Lin going now.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Kylie with 5 TO and Lin with 4 TO. One TO is because Lin did a Bruce Lee kick while going up for a shot.

      Delete
    2. I don't think @Stu was referring to the TO duel :p

      Delete
    3. Anyone know how many 3's Lin hit tonight?

      Delete
  5. Nice drive and dish by Harden. There we go Parsons!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Was about time Parsons hits a 3 (1 of 4 so far)

      Delete
  6. I just woke up, and when I saw the stat sheet I was surprised that Lin has more pts than Harden... hahaha... I think we have a good game here :)

    ReplyDelete
  7. JLin "like a blanket" on Irving.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wow how was that a foul...Fking refs.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Total BS call. Lin barely had a hand on the body of Irving and Irving wasn't going to make that shot anyway.

      Delete
  9. Smith is a boss! Gotta look out for his fouls tho.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Lol Kyrie scoring in Harden's face...He's getting hot, time for timeout to cool him off.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Yeah - I wanted to see TD and indeed - TD is in. Unfortunately (but maybe neccessary) Lins resting.

      Delete
  11. What did you guys think what Kevin McHale conversation with Sampson is about?

Kevin McHale: Damn Greg Smith is playing great but can't shoot a FT.

Sampson: Kyrie Irving scored on Jeremy Lin. Time to bring in Tony Douglas.

Kevin McHale: Oh crap, I forgot to take him out and give him his rest. We need him for the 4th quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I wish we had a Bruce Bowen type of player on the team that can compensate for Harden's shitty defense

    ReplyDelete
  13. Wow harden is cold...1/9? Or is Gee doing a number on him?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lin only can score when harden is on the bench.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think he's instructed to give the ball to Harden every time, and 99.9% of the time the ball will never come back to him.

      Delete
    2. I really hate it when Harden hogs it...

      Delete
  15. Asik keeps getting boxed out...Sigh new center plz...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Wow Rox is the suck in freethrows today...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Mchale talked to Sampson! We cannot let lin out shine harden this game. I rather lose it. Sampson: ok! We gonna bench him if we see him make one mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Come on guys. Lets not lose to a 8 win team.

    ReplyDelete
  19. PatPat making his own play with Asik. Nice

    ReplyDelete
  20. TD the scoring spark off the bench!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Unfortunately Kyrie doesn't seem to be bothered by his D.

      Delete
  21. Wow... I can't believe that the rockets benched both Lin and Harden at the same time... either one of them is usually on the court... ok, let's see how these guys play...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. When they do come back, JLin will have the closer mentality. That is fun to watch.

      Delete
  22. Anyone seen Lin? We need his O and D!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Ok, time to bring in Lin to close. He's rested now.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Lin will come back in around 7:30

    ReplyDelete
  25. TD gets faked too easily...They need Lin to defend Kyrie...But props to bench for holding down the fort so far.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah but hes moves so flashy when hes getting faked so that it actually looks good :)

      Delete
  26. Lol wow refs just not on Rox side today...I saw charging but its foul on Delfino?

    ReplyDelete
  27. If J.Lin scores more than J.Harden and the Rockets win this game... does this mean I can finally read articles with Jeremy Lin's name on it and giving him credit for the win?? Hahaha :D

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. hey, we think the same. It's always harden, harden, harden I see in NBA top story headline. BTW, it's the same every team though. Always the one with high points get the title. I just hope there's one game I see lin. Haven't see it in a while. do we sound like a Harden hater??hm....to some people maybe we are.

      Delete
  28. Omg, here goes heo iso Harden. Arghh. Just pass Lin the dam ball and he'll give it back dammit.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. totally agree! he's playing "all-star" once again... sheeeshh

      Delete
    2. as long as he keeps on scoring...

      Delete
  29. Hohhhh... Harden robs Lin of an assist by being blocked...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin should have just kept it himself for the easy lay-in.

      Delete
  30. Wow flurry of exchanges there...Great back and forth got ruined by Livingston but quick transition to Harden again!

    ReplyDelete
  31. just got in, checked the box score. Seems like harden is having a bad game offensively but still effective in drawing foul which is okay. And Lin having a nice overall game. Looks like this back to back game fatigue is no longer an issue. In a way that's the benefit of hard schedule early on against SAS and OKC other lesser teams seems easy even at back to back and on the road.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. sometimes, it's weird. Rockets can defeat teams like knicks, Chicago, but lost game to heat and spur. Whereas, knicks defeat spur, and Chicago was able to defeat heat.

      Delete
    2. Actually they've been fighting for this one hard since 1Q...8TOs in like a few minutes, scary close game.

      Delete
  32. Wow, JLin with the nice D forcing the TO on Kyrie, Harden gets rejected, Cavaliers rejected on the other end, and Harden comes back with the and-1.

And another good contest on Kyrie's mid-range.

    ReplyDelete
  33. HAHAHAH! Harden hitting that one... no way.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Now that is what I called a Harden Bail Out Plan!

      Delete
    2. I didnt expect that to happen after a horrible shooting night for Harden :)

      Delete
    3. Clutch? More like stupid basketball.

      Delete
    4. Harden's got 7 steals, too.

      Delete
  34. LMAO HARDEN PAWNING ON THE CLOCK!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jeremy should have 7-8 assists. And 2-3 steals (knocked ball loose, but someone else picked it up after a scrum).

But still a great all-around game by J-Lin. Irving got some buckets on Douglas to make his stats look better than they are.

This is the first game I remember Jeremy making bad "home run" passes, though.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah I think the league is on to the home run pass. He's going to have to tone it down to about 2 per game. It's got to be a surprise.

      Delete
    2. You have to take the good with the bad. He is pushing the tempo and it just happens the man got there in time. You can't be 100 % all the time. Even the best QB can't have that rating.

      Delete
  36. Wow Harden bad TO...Delfino with a +1. Awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Let's go Delfino! Agressive mode!! Hahaha

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hardens Moto: "Gotta score more than Lin - gotta score more than Lin - gotta score more than Lin - brumm brummm"

    ReplyDelete
  39. 80 million dollar man with breathing room 3!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Ok that trey was clutch. Mad props to Harden.

He's not doing well today, is he injured or just tired?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Think he was tired. Wasn't making those drives either.

      Delete
  41. From CF by a guy with 4000 posts:

    "Excellent D by Lin there.

But of course, no one's gonna remember that and point that out "

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I remember it... so as Harden's shitty defense... but Harden's last 3 is clutch!

      Delete
    2. I remember some claim to be lin fan here said his d is terrible, while the pther said his d is good. Who should I believe? the self-claiming lin fan or the other one?

      Delete
    3. At worst Jlin D is mediocre because he over helps on D but i think its because of the lack of info on opposing players. With more scouting reports he'll know when not to leave a guy in the 3point area.

      Delete
  42. Interesting lineup to close:

    - Starting backcourt
    - Bench frontcourt

    ReplyDelete
  43. Irving makes 80 million dollars based on that foul

    ReplyDelete
  44. Lol fking refs...Weak ass pushing foul. Kyrie you suck.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Foul? Lmao on the refs. That's a disgrace to the game.

    ReplyDelete
  46. HELL YEAH! trying to back me down? I'm going to take you to the rack!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Told u! Coach need harden to get his stats .

    ReplyDelete
  48. Kyrie trying to back down JLin. You got nothing on our boy!

And JLin coming right back at you with an and-1!

    ReplyDelete
  49. JLIN THE WARRIOR!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAH GO LIN! GET THE +1!

    ReplyDelete
  50. the refs are calling it thin tonight... wtf is going on??

    ReplyDelete
  51. bad decision making there. They funneled Jeremy straight into trap.

    ReplyDelete
  52. EPIC AND-ONE...

...but a bad TO on the next one.

    Too unselfish!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Jeremy Lin drives to the hoop +1... YEAHH!!!! That's my boy JLin!!! Hahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  54. BS fouls on Jeremy...

    ...Irving getting Kobe-type calls.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Irving 1 out of 2 from the line. Ball don't lie.

      Delete
  55. that set play was awful: 3 shooters for iso harden, iso harden doesnt take drive but just passes it to TD for a shot where there only 1 other HOU in the paint.

Just give to Jeremy on PnR please if you gonna toss something up like that!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I don't know about that call... that's way too thin..

    ReplyDelete
  57. Referees keeping the Cavs in the game. Irving getting all kinds of calls. Ridiculous!

    ReplyDelete
  58. That patterson miss was big, would be 6 pts lead even with Kyries 1 FT. But 3pts with 69secs left.

I hate close games. KILL THEM DAMN IT.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Irving's no doubt competing but all those fouls called vs JLin were all questionable.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I can understand if Irving is attacking the rim.

But he's getting fouls on step-back jumpers! Utter BS.

    ReplyDelete
  61. That was a good fake by Irving, and Lin left his feet and then Irving leaned in and got the contact. Not a total BS call. Lin is playing well though but needs to make good decisions down the stretch.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin needs to stop jumping for shot fakes, needs to stay on his feet for D. A jumpshot is very difficult to block, best thing to do is just contest it.

      Delete
  62. ISO Harden once again... what a shitty play...

    ReplyDelete
  63. Jeremy looks off pnr for iso harden. iso harden with euro step!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Offensive foul on Irving! YEAH!!!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Lin giving it up for the team!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  66. oh please irving you got enough calls.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Replies
    1. kyrie extended. lin is not the type that flops. if he falls back like that there'is contact.

      Delete
    2. We need to check that later. If it was a flop and Lin gets fined -> beardy better pay for it :)

      Delete
  68. shut kyrie. you couple of stupid fouls called on lin. its your turn.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Kyrie being too aggressive there. Great D by JLin!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Lin with the game sealing D on Irving!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. These are the myriad of "non-stat" contributions Jeremy makes EVERY game.

That's why he's capable of being elite...once he gets a reliable jumper!

      Delete
    2. but the "Stat" contributions is what most people notice and will take credits for.

      Delete
    3. Stats will come in time...probably next season. He needs one more healthy offseason to fix that jumper and learn even more half-court playmaking moves.

      Delete
  71. Let it be known JLin's D won this game...Hahahaha I laugh in ur face Kyrie!

    ReplyDelete
  72. At least the refs are consistent. Lin got the SAME exact call got on him in the Spurs game.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Omg and they called that a flop? Fucking Irving's arm was clearly pushing Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Nice D by Lin. Offensive foul and then Gangnam Style plays. Lol!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. lol great flop if that's what you want to call it.

    ReplyDelete
  76. ALL HAIL TO JEREMY LIN!!!! HAHAHA... THIS KID HAS HEART!! FANTASTIC OFFENSE AND FANTASTIC DEFENSE!!! BRAVO! BRAVO!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Absolutely. If somebody is gonna bicker about Lins performance tonight Im gonna go crazy :)

      Delete
  77. harden gets his stats one way or another. he's been clutch in this fourth quarter with some monstrous 3's.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Very good game by Lin. Some clutch shooting by Harden.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Harden gets to PAD his stats with these past 4 garbage time FTs...

LIN was the MVP of the game, no doubt. Harden and Patterson were co-#2 stars.

    ReplyDelete
  80. At least, Cleveland announcers were impressed by Lin, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I have absolutely no problems with Harden shooting freethrows, that boy is just money.

"THEY HAVE LIN, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW MAN?!? GAME OVER MAN GAME OVER!!!" Screams Kyrie...

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lol yeah doesn't matter how many points he can score. I hope he'll have nightmare of Jeremy tonight lol

      Delete
  82. BS Kyrie Irving spoiled #1 pick still asking for flop while you already have 5 BS calls against Lin

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin showed Irving that it doesnt matter how many calls you get but when you get them :)

      Delete
  83. Lin took in charge of the offense just the short time.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Jeremy Lin 2, Kyrie Irving 0

    yeah right #1 pick

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Still waiting for John Wall and Kyrie Irving(both PG #1 pick) to win against Lin. That day will probably never come lol

      Delete
    2. damn I want Lin to win against Lillard too so bad. Problem is L.A. & Batum

      Delete
    3. Irving's a good scoring guard. I'll give him props for that. Problem is, JLin is a good scoring guard, play maker, and defensive specialist.

      Delete
  85. good game til the end!!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. Too bad after this game, it's Harden as a closer headlines all over again, none would remember that without Jlin's defense, the win would not have been possible :(

Oh well... at least in my book, Jlin killed this game!! (stitches and exhaustion and all)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hahaha... Who cares what writers would say... THE TRUTH will come out no matter how hard they try to hide it :)

      Delete
    2. agree. It is how it is. I will take it. It's the same everywhere on every team. We jlin fans will remember how good he is.

      Delete
    3. The true Lin fans don't need headlines to see Lin's greatness. The kid got game. Soon or later haters will just have to admit that because it's the truth.

      Delete
    4. They wont. Watch all the game highlights on youtube (by gerald lin). There is one nutjob commentator who wont stop insulting Lin...

      Delete
  87. And the winner of the TO battle goes to...drum roll please...Kyrie Irving with 8 TO's and 30 points. He has -7 in leading his team to a loss.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Jeremy has +6, 4 TO's and a WIN. :)

      Delete
    2. Just wait for the folks who always come here to fake a game summery/analysis to bash Lin - claiming no PG turns the ball over like he does and that he will never be a superstar :)

      Delete
  88. Smith came in STRONG today. Covered Asik's ass...Hahahahahaha I love it awesome win go Lin go Rockets!

    ReplyDelete
  89. 20pts, not bad, despite he play with a injured head. Harden, again, with the highest points on the team, not bad too.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. yes! surprise to see he plays this strong with his stitching head.

      Delete
    2. Considering how much he plays d, shares the ball with his teammates, thats simply awesome :)

      Delete
  90. Harden turned it on to full ball hog mode with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Can't blame him since he is the leading Rockets scorer and it is also hard to defend him vs Lin. Asik did not show up this game and thus Greg Smith was used more. He lost the rebound battle to Greg Smith. TD started to chuck up balls when he knew he was going to get pulled by the coaches soon for Lin. Pat Pat played well tonight and Morris didn't.

  92. And of course Sampson was devastated that they did not bench Lin in the 4th quarter. He would have done it if he was still coaching the Rockets. Trust me guys when I say it, McHale is having more confidence in Lin and thus is letting him play through his mistakes. He would have been easily pulled for throwing those two football type passes.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't like sampson... he's a BS Coach...

      Delete
    2. Mchale definitely start to see more light in lin. Lin will win his heart ultimately. Mchale won't get any humble pg like lin in the league. Lin will always give him respect even how harsh he is to lin.

      Delete
    3. Its called tough love sista. He is critcal of Lin because he wants Lin to do well and learn from his mistakes. He doesn't want Lin to get a bloated head by keep on complimenting him. Winning cures all ailments.

      Delete
    4. lol..tough love...maybe...

  93. Great job, Jeremy! Clutch as usual. Hope he's feeling OK. I admire his grit.

    3. No doubt this team can reach the playoff but for The Rockets to have any chance pass the first round of the playoff, they must get that 4th or 5th seed and hoping to get the Grizz for their 1st round matchup

      Delete
    4. Yeah - I hope it will be one of these games where Lin totally freaks out - doesnt care about anyone and plays ego-mode... Lin does that sometimes (38 against Kobe).

      Delete
    5. I also want to see JLin vs Paul and JLin vs Steph Curry.

      Delete
    6. also first game play against his former coach D antoni? last game, D antoni is still out I remember.

      Delete
    7. Yeah - last time he wasnt coaching.

      Delete
    8. Rikki, yes, not first game, but first game D antoni in charge. Right, Willy. I guess so.

      Delete
    9. I think getting the 4th seed will give them a good chance of getting to the second round because of home court advantage. The Rockets are much better at home.

    10. rockets vs lakers
      rockets vs clippers (jan.15)
      rockets vs warriors (feb.5)

    ReplyDelete
  97. Yeah, what a tight game, the Rockets looked like the better team ... but the Cavs got a lot of rebounds and 2nd chance points. The Rockets big men got dominated in the paint even when Anderson Varajao isn't playing.
    G. Smith and Patterson needs to take boxing out seriously.
