  1. Rudy Gay to the Toronto Raptors along with Hamed Haddadi for forward Ed Davis and veteran guard Jose Calderon. The Grizzlies will flip Calderon to the Detroit Pistons to acquire veteran forward Tayshaun Prince, along with forward Austin Daye.

  2. Go jeremy!!!get this Win again and have the last laugh.

    ReplyDelete
  3. beating the nuggets is the beginning of all good things happening

    ReplyDelete
  4. Mchale looks alive tonight. Most of the the time he looks half dead or drugged.

    ReplyDelete
  5. 1 brick already and Asik TO not good start. Lin shuffles to the corner after bringing ball up.

Looks like we're back to old Rockets.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Lol Lin and Asik have some minor personality issues ie - that crappy Asik outlet. I wouldn't call it chemistry problem, but it's semi comical at times...

    ReplyDelete
  7. Wow Asik pwned.

    Yep back to old Rockets.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Lin with steal takes it slow 2 on 1 and pwned.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That would be a 1 on 2 right? Lin was alone with 2 defenders and scored.

      Delete
    2. Oh was saying from Nuggets perspective yes he pwned 2 defenders sry :P

      Delete
    3. Oops gotcha Kenoshi. My mistake.

      Delete
  9. A steal and a basket from jeremy. What else can i ask for??

    ReplyDelete
  10. Ouch Lin blocked hard :/

    How many TOs already?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Only thing Lin is really missing is an elite vertical. If he had that, he'd be ridiculous since he would have tried to dunk that and got fouled at worst.....

      Delete
    2. Wasnt blocked hard. Just hit the floor hard :)

5 TO for the chicken nuggets

      Delete
    3. That reverse layup is getting too predictable. Lin's gotta come up with another move when driving to the hoop.

Not having elite vertical might be why Lin has developed into an outstanding PG, and is not just another J.Harden or K.Irving.

      Delete
  11. Heh this time he works with Parsons easy layup. 2/4 so far he's aggressive.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Really fun game so far!

Rockets sharing the ball, Jeremy not over-passing.

Patterson playing some defense with his quick hands.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Lin 2/4 ,seems like coach needs harden to score now

    ReplyDelete
  14. Replies
    1. Its way too early to bench...sigh!

      Delete
    2. And yes, I really don't understand the early benching when your PG is playing well. I guess he wants to start Lin for the 2nd quarter and let Harden rest.

      Delete
    3. Also with Lin in the game, Harden can't play hero ball. He wants to get Harden going early so he will be more comfy later in the game.

      Delete
  15. I feel like jeremy doesnt mind being blocked. I think in every game, he gets 1 block at least

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think you're right. He doesn't care about it. Getting blocked is no different than missing a shot. He plays aggressively without fear of looking bad.

      Delete
  16. Seriously man, why bench Lin so early?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Announcers for Denver are idiots. They keep calling Tony Douglas Beverly.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I know right I was like since when bev looks so much like td and I actually kiss up to screen to look since they do look similar lol

      Delete
    2. You can tell by the number they wear on their Jersey. TD wear 15.

      Delete
    3. Of course, too lazy to check, lol

      Delete
  18. Post D is not nearly as good as vs Utah without Lin helping.

    ReplyDelete
  19. See! U can see he bench Lin that early, McHale can't let Lin score more than harden.im sick of this punk ass coach.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. McHale probably was concern that Lin is hurt from that block.

      Delete
    2. Dude he's just trying to space out Lin and Harden so they have time playing apart.

      Delete
    3. If McHale is trying to space out Harden and Lin's mins, how come both are on the bench to start the 2nd?

      Delete
  20. So far a very tight game. Tied at 24 - 24 when Sausage man hits a three going 1 for 2 from 3 point land.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Harden with 2 TO already, but still high man with 8 points.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. What is the use of his 8 points if he let his man (a normal low scorer) score 9 points?

      Delete
  22. McHale seems to take out Lin at certain time regardless of matchup, what happens on the court or how he plays.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't think Lin played all that well, not bad, but nothing special to start the game. I found it reasonable for the early sub, but I dont like that Lin didn't come back in to start the 2nd Quarter... Lin came out at 6 minutes...that's on pace for a 24 minute game...

      Delete
  23. Hmm Harden out Lin not in sight.

    I hope he's not hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Douglas seems faster tonight. He is everywhere on the court grabbing loose ball. He is playing with some passion after Beverly took over his back up job.

    ReplyDelete
  25. if mchale really wanted to stager lin's minutes he would start him in the second

    ReplyDelete
  26. jeremy had a descent start to the game and now his legs are gonna be cold when he comes in

    ReplyDelete
  27. Uh oh....back to old sub patterns..no Lin...a bit worried haha

    ReplyDelete
  28. Morris and Harden had 2 TOs in Q1 trying to be playmakers resulting in 3 points for DEN (1 FT and 1 layup).

They should have let TD be the PG.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Delfino with 3 fouls. Time for him to rest and stuff more sausage into his mouth. Lin is back in with TD, Parson, Asik and Morris.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Mchale is just trying to give the subs some minutes. He doesn't see Lin as that special or game changing as we do, rightly or wrongly so....

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think he's one of the worst rotation/sub coaches I've watched

      Delete
    2. He probably took Lin out a minute too early and put him in too late in the 2Q...he is consistent in not playing Lin as much as we'd like to see! Haha

      Delete
  31. LOL Lin back to SG.....what gives man...it's so odd with this team..

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sometimes you want to give this coaching staff the benefit of a doubt. And then they continue to make this puzzling substitution pattern.

      Delete
  32. Replies
    1. That was ridic D.

These nuggets refs are being ridiculous... Those 3 calls on Delfino?

      Delete
  33. Miller fouled Lin out of frustration :D

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That was some great D by Lin! Everyone's looking to school him.

      Delete
  34. Rockets team only totally 6 assists so far. That means the ball is either not moving or teammates not scoring off the pass.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Maybe its McHale's pro strat:

Every even game play Lin as PG
Every odd game play Lin as SG

You know, keeps the opposing team guessing...I guess lol :D

    ReplyDelete
  36. Really, McHale sits LIn early and only gives Harden little rest and he is now back in with Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Kind of weird they're not staggering Lin at all...Harden is back in.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Same old shit. McHale just don't let Lin play the same way he let Harden play.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I cant keep up. The adage is true, i cant do two things at the same time.i cant watch and work. I will be fired or kill someone. I guess ill keep reading the posts

    ReplyDelete
  40. Lin with the nice wrap around feed to Asik who couldn't finish at the rim and got fouled.

    ReplyDelete
  41. asik...just too slow for quick put back dunk. jeremy should have have gotten an assist for asik and 1

    ReplyDelete
  42. Damn you Asik and your weak floaters :/

    ReplyDelete
  43. and asik gets open, because opponents leave him open for a reason

    ReplyDelete
  44. harden lets his man go...rockets interior d bails him out, and lin feeds him because harden is already streaking. But he bricks.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Morris lost Mozgov! Get PPat back in.

    ReplyDelete
  46. great challenge by lin to some random denver dude.

    ReplyDelete
  47. And, that's Houston's achilles heel... they can't guard against two big men who can pass in the paint.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Lol Lin so set that one up...Easy fouls :D

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He is blowing past his man at will lololol...

      Delete
  49. good job by parsons hustling to get that defensive board. and lin with the nice dish to g smith

    ReplyDelete
  50. faried's a good player to have on your team

    ReplyDelete
  51. There we go, Lin drives and sweet dish to Smith for a strong Jam. Harden got the ball stolen by Igloo for his 3rd turn over.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Sigh.

Harden and his weak handles :/

    ReplyDelete
  53. smith, showing why he was undrafted. STILL, good aggression.

Gallinari showing why he was drafted with the same move and dunk

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. His back was always suspectable when he played with the Knicks, but he can shoot and that dunk was crazy.

      Delete
  54. Man, Harden lost the ball and can't stop Gallinari.

    ReplyDelete
  55. McHale got a technical for going at the officials for not calling the foul call on Greg Smith. He is irate because they didn't call the foul on Harden earlier and also the BS goal tending call on Asik. All that frustration adds to a technical.

    ReplyDelete
  56. If harden is trying to play hero ball, rockets are gonna lose tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  57. All in all not so bad so far. Denver is a heck of a home team. Losing streak Rockets would be down 15 by now.

    ReplyDelete
  58. George Karl says houston defense the worst. oh well, that is why Lin has his opportunities to pad his steal total! #reasonstosignwithrockets

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think Houston's team defense is a liability too. Not sure why Denver is taking control on the offensive end. Maybe Ty was trying too hard gunning Lin.

      Delete
  59. Lin should have handled the ball on the Parons possession where Smith got fouled/rejected without a call....no clue why Lin doesn't get to handle the rock in that circumstance..

    ReplyDelete
  60. Wow annoying...

Run ovah by the beard lol

    ReplyDelete
  61. that was a pretty screen and shot by harden

    ReplyDelete
  62. Harden getting going. but the rockets jogging back on d, and lets alley ooped. Lin was in the area, could have chipped Faried, but not his responsibility

    ReplyDelete
  63. Thesse refs are Horrible! Other than that. Harden needs to be careful with ISOs. Ln needss to get aggresive and better team defense and transiction D.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Lin just demonstrated his aggressiveness by taking it to the hole.

      Delete
    2. I had laready posted but I meant to say more aggressive.

      Delete
  64. Lin with very pretty tough drive and bank.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Damn Rockets getting BEAT on transition like they do to other teams.

    ReplyDelete
  66. They have gotta work on their transition D vs Nuggets.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. absolutely. Too many easy dunks, alley oops, open 3PTs

      Delete
  67. Lawson is kept in check so far with only 4 points. I saw several times he tried to break free with the bigs setting screens for him on Lin. He only managed to blow by Lin that one time to score 2 on Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Lin has 1's across the box score board except for points where he has 8.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Harden and Parsons are such horrible defenders. Their men always are the highest scorers for the opposing team, regardless if they are highest scorers on their team normally.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not one time can you see them, especially Harden keeping their men under season average lol.

      Delete
  70. The starters dont hustle...well Harden doesn't hustle, Asik looks like he can't hustle at that speed, and Parsons just fell asleep too after admiring his own layup....

Lin is simply playing better today. This game is not being catered for him to star in but he's making it happen by himself for himself

    ReplyDelete
  71. Announcers said that they are liking how the Rockets are playing tonight. Jeremy Lin is setting the table. The Rockets are taking Denver's playbook from last time.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Anouncer quotes of the night:

"TD really doesnt like to pass"
"Lin really sets the table for everybody"

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I caught that too. Lin has been superb at setting up the offense this first half even if he doesn't have many assists to show for it.

      Delete
  73. that was some nice aggression by Faried against lin with the in bounds. I can't see houston players doing that. subtle high energy plays

    ReplyDelete
  74. Give Patterson more mid-range jumpers! He's automatic!

    ReplyDelete
  75. I love how VOCAL Jeremy is being.

Calling his teammates in for a huddle -- "Come here, come here, come here!" -- after a bad defense possession.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Looks like Denver defenders are trying to take the ball out of Lin's hands. Trying not to let him take the inbound pass. Could be George Karl strategy.

    ReplyDelete
  77. harden great job getting his FTs

    ReplyDelete
  78. houston so small with this lineup. no blockers free pass for iggy

    ReplyDelete
  79. Fk man gotta stop giving them free points.

Nuggets are hanging on by fouls only.

    ReplyDelete
  80. swing to harden. risky pass leads to int. Lin with great body check!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. that was impressive D. they're still testing Lin's strength

      Delete
  81. Harden with another TO and Lin with great defense on Igloo to cause him to turn over the ball.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If they all played D the way Lin does they would be invincible!

      Delete
  82. Lin got a freebie. lol, ball don't lie, he misses his first FT

    ReplyDelete
  83. LOL was that a flop?!

Whatever it is nice Lin :D

    ReplyDelete
  84. What's the world coming to, Lin getting phantom calls?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Faried! making mincemeat of the poor rebounding. Jeremy was in vicinity but he was tired possibly

    ReplyDelete
  86. Oh, that looked good, Jeremy misses buzzer beater

    ReplyDelete
  87. Denver guards are too aggressive and forwards not aggressive enough. Still gunning for Lin?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Summary:

    - McHale has gone small
    - Lin is aggressive
    - Harden is TO prone
    - Smith still can't D
    - Lots of ball movement
    - Giving away too many FTs

    ReplyDelete
  89. I'm betting coming out 2nd half they are going to double/triple team Lin, he is keeping Rox alive and basically penetrating at will. Rox frontcourt is no threat if they contain Lin game is over.

    This will get interesting.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This game is going to be tight after first two quarters. Rockets better have enough fuel to finish strong. They should not have an excuse of being tired because the starters all took the 4th quarter off against Utah.

      Delete
    2. Would be interesting to see whether Denver does their version of the Miami defense against Lin and how Lin deals with it. Not sure your meek heart can take it though. =P

      Delete
    3. >_<

C'mon Lin KICK ASS 2nd half and blow them away, my heart depends on it!

      Delete
  90. C'mon Lin get 3 more steals to tie CP3! 4 to pass!!!

    ReplyDelete
  91. McHale must be reaming Lin a new ahole in the locker room at half time for the following:

    1) Playing too much D

    2) Making too many plays

    3) Being too aggressive

    4) Letting Harden take 4 TO's

    5) Missing the shot before the half

    ReplyDelete
  92. Harden and Asik please don't turn the ball over again or we will have a game.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Whenever they give the ball the Harden to run plays while Lin stands in the corner, it usually results in a turnover. Let's hope the light bulb goes on in McHale's mind ... Let Lin handle the ball.

    ReplyDelete
  94. inspired by last game from Utah.Lin is being targeted with the ball in his hands. having a girl inspiration helped a lot too...

    ReplyDelete
  95. Lin with his 2nd assist to butterfinger Asik with the strong slam.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Lin bricks open 3. and another almost steal. Lin is not sleeping or dejected after miss

    ReplyDelete
  97. Wtf how did Lin shoot that 3 and made it back in time for that almost steal?! Dude teleportS?

    ReplyDelete
  98. lol, Asik challenged, 25% going in. another missed assist

    ReplyDelete
  99. Lin almost with his third assist to butterfinger Asik and I can't finish at the rim Asik.

    ReplyDelete
  100. good D by harden there, forcing hot Gallinari to a miss

    ReplyDelete
  101. Lawson is 5' 9". so small compared to Lin

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. don't care what his marketing team says, lawson is not 5' 11"

      Delete
  102. Wassup with the high arc on Lin's shot? It doesn't look smooth and effortless like the ones that he shoot on the other night.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. His % is low in the corner. Last game he shot from the top of the key.

      Delete
  103. How come Lin never alley-ooped to Harden yet?

This calamari Gallinari guy is keeping Denver alive. Please, somebody, take out his legs.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Just hit him in the back. He has a bad back.

      Delete
  104. lawson with the vet move on Parsons. too bad, it was mismatched

    ReplyDelete
  105. Good move with Lin to Parsons. Got a rondo assist

    ReplyDelete
  106. Lin out!!!!

Rox coach just pushed the self-destruct button.
