    1. As long as Harden is on the court with him, Beverley can't do anything either even he starts.

  2. This game is killing me someone please help........

    ReplyDelete
  3. Is Harden quitting? He's not guarding anyone out there. Marion, Mayo or whoever he's guarding drives past him at ease!!

    1. I think he is tired and confused because he can't put up his usual numbers.

      Delete
  4. They put the Matrix on Harden and Harden can't score. I remembered during Linsanity they put Marion on Lin and he went off on him.

    1. Haha. Lin had twice the pressure with traps and was still dropping 25+ last year. Yes, I remember well.

      Delete
  5. Harden is still calling for the ball from Lin when Lin dribbled it up court. Really now, you play like crap the whole game and still wants to be the man.

    1. Thats his "motor". Its ridiculous but I wish Lin had Hardens motor.

      Delete
  6. Lin is 2 - 9. We all know that he is shooting that way because like all shooters they need to be in rhythm and need to take shots after shots to be in rhythm. The way Harden is hogging up the ball and isolating his teammates it is hard for Lin to get going.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Dang Bev gets subbed in before TD..:P

    ReplyDelete
  8. Lin got subbed out for Beverly again. NO TD this time. Harden is still in there with Beverly now and the starting line up.

    1. I think Lin was tired from yesterday too after McHale ran his starters ragged.

      Delete
    2. Beverley stands in the corner with Harden handling the ball though.

      Delete
    3. What does that remind me of...

      Delete
  9. Lin has another straggling night from the field 2/9 .Im very disappointed.

    ReplyDelete
  10. McHale's plan work to perfection. Take out everybody that can take the ball away from Harden to get him going and get his numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Berverly is doing the same thing as LIn. He passes the ball to Harden as soon as he brings it over to half court.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Lin
    Beverly
    Delfino
    Parson
    Patterson

Maybe Mchale should try this line up in the 4th

    ReplyDelete
  13. Harden with another almost TO. Luckily Beverly is fresh and fast enough to save it. Harden also missed an easy layup. He is looking tired.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Come on man. Delfino have no handles. Who lets him handle the ball. Another TO on him.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Jeremy always wrap his face with towel when he is benched , looking so lost and afraid ,,, SMH
Where is that brave JLin we used to see? He completely lost his confidence

    ReplyDelete

    1. He is reciting Psalms while he is on the bench and saying to himself, I think I can I think I can.

      Delete
  16. Beverly is fresh and has so much energy. He is not bad!

    ReplyDelete

    1. Beverley only gets to do his stuff when Harden is not on the court. He's no different to Lin when Harden is on the court with him. Lin's only fault is that he has to play majority of his minutes with Harden.

      Delete
  17. Went strong Beverly and got the ball in. "He's playing like a veteran, just attacking." - Hubie Brown

    Come on Jeremy!

Hubie giving props to HOU PGs, subtle nod to Jeremy's defense for Collison having a bad night

    ReplyDelete
  18. I would bet that if Hubbie was the coach for the Rockets then Jeremy will flourish.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wow nice catching up but 0 perimeter defense is helping mavs pull away again.

    Anyone's game in 4th.

  21. i wonder if lin will play in the 4th quarter.

    ReplyDelete
  22. This young rockets team are still trying to learn how to play, they are just not there yet!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm telling you guys... Harden's playing his favorite ISO ball once again... If I were the owner I'd fire Mchale and get Mike d'antoni next season, I'd fire kelvin sampson too :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wow, Beverly still in to start the 4th and McHale sub in Harden with 4 fouls over Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Morris got to shoot that open 3, weird hesitation with Harden feeding him

    ReplyDelete
  26. Lin probably not coming back in :(

    ReplyDelete

    1. and if he does, it's when the game is way out of reach.

    1. good pass & decision and morris went up strong

      Delete
  28. McHale is still playing favorites and he believes he can win the game with Harden scoring and no D and sacrificing team work and getting everybody involved.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Why the hell Lin is still on the damn bench? He was the reason they got back into the game in 3rd quarter

    ReplyDelete
  30. If they aren't going to let Jeremy play point guard...or run any plays for him...or play through mistakes when he plays good defense, then they should trade him.

I'm sick of this garbage coaching and Jeremy's selfish teammates. They've got an All-Star talent playing a Derek Fisher role. Nothing ever changes...even when they WON with Jeremy leading the way.

    ReplyDelete

    1. True - but dont give up hope just yet. They are young and its their first year (HardLin).

      Delete
  31. Harden plays again. And Beverley is with him. Lol at "the savior" having to stand in the corner.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Lead is back up to 10 points again.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Nice, Harden with the stutter

and nice aggressive play by Bev.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Here comes Jlin, that is a vote of confidence by coaching staff

    ReplyDelete
  35. Harden is still bricking it and still shooting. Lin is back in for Beverly.

    ReplyDelete
  36. excellent, Harden shows no fear. nails 3

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Who cares, he keeps shooting no matter what. Was this the coaches plan??

      Delete
    2. Obviously, you are keep going to shoot if nobody reprimands you and say anything to you. You are given the green light to score. Shooter's amnesia and mentality. Nothing you can do is wrong so you are going to be more aggressive. On the other hand, Lin even misses a layup or a defensive assignment and he will be subbed out.

      Delete
    3. shrugs, that is what elite players do when they are paid the most.

He'll get his 20 no matter what. Say what you want, but he'll get his 20.

Does that mean he'll win games? no, not automatic but somehow the team is still in it.

Kobe, Melo, Jordan, Bird...they aren't afraid to shoot it

      Delete
  37. Lin running around screens. Mismatched switch with Nowitz but Jlin forces him to give it up

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. surprise nowitz gave it up since he has 8 inches on Jlin. Pretty nice validation on Jlin's pesky defense

      Delete
  38. Woohoo...Harden is 4 - 16, 6 assits, 4 TO, 13 points, 3 steals and 0 defense. Coach is going to praise him tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Crowder is playing with a ton of energy out there. Just like Beverley. Lin seems to have good body language.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Harden is having a good second half. Let's hope Lin gets hot too.

    ReplyDelete
  41. When will McHale and Harden himself realize that Harden is better as a spot up 3 point shooter than off the dribble? Let Lin handle the ball and kick it out for Harden for 3 plz.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Don't think that will happen this year.

      Delete
    2. That's too obvious to work.

      Delete
    3. In their minds, Harden is Jordan. Parsons is Durant. Everyone else is the same -- disposable garbage for whom you play the hot hand.

      Delete
  42. Jlin gives it up to Parsons, but he bricks

    ReplyDelete
  43. Jeremy probes--Jlin needs to shoot it

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. For those who hate it, Harden shows no fear shooting it

Hubie called out Jeremy there on this possession.

That's the learning process for Jeremy

You want to be elite--shoot it. Not wildly, not all flippantly like Ricky Davis. But he passed up twice in the paint.

      Delete
  44. Morris can't finish at the rim. Hubbie said it loud and clear. Jeremy passed on two shots already and can't be passing up and afraid to take the shots.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hubie calls it like he sees it. I like that he said that. Thats a fair criticism,

      Delete
  45. JLin is totally lost ! He will be sub out soon

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hubie Brown speaking the truth. Lin afraid to shoot and drive hard.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. agree, i'm actually impressed the staff wants him out there on the court.

this staff sucks, but this is rare vote of confidence that Jeremy needs to learn will dwindle ever more if he squanders it

      Delete
    2. I like Hubbie Brown and Jeff Van Gundy doing the commentaries above all those other announcers. They seem more knowledgeable and less bias. If Van Gundy was calling the broadcast then he would have called Harden out for all the non D he usually plays night in and night out.

      Delete
  47. Beautiful brick from Harden again. He is channeling JOhn Starks from the Knicks.

    ReplyDelete
  48. A play coming out of timeout is Parsons jacking up a contested three, McHale drawing a brilliant play lol!

    ReplyDelete
  49. BTW, do Lin and Parson still do the Kung Fu handshake? Or, did they stop after Harden started cutting in?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I was at the 76ers game and all three did it together.

      Delete
    2. lol i thought the three way kung-fu handshake was cool.

      Delete
  50. Good aggressive drive by Jlin. Got a call for him--that was a pass

    Good karma!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Delfino in, I actually want to see Bev/Lin/Harden and whatever 3s, 4s, 5s

They are overrating this Delfino guy

Let's see how this plays out with the TV timeout

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Delfino is okay if he sticks himself at the 3 point line and can really space the floor. But the problem is that he wants to do too much and starts to handle the ball then he becomes a cancer.

      Delete
  52. Its going to be tough for Houston to wint his game being down by 9 with 6:42 to go if Harden continues on his iso Harden and bricking path.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Lin great D on James.

See, James vet not afraid to take it strong. Why he went against Lin...lol

    ReplyDelete
  54. Excellent LEARNING. Jlin with beautiful high bank on flying layup

    ReplyDelete
  55. Good, good--back to back aggressive drive

    ReplyDelete
  56. "Come on here he comes..." - The great Hubbie Brown. Lin is actually making something happen.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Lin INT, beautiful pass to Harden. bailout on call.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Damn - lucky Harden got fouled on 3 :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Jeremy needs to learn, who the hell cares if you brick everything. You play aggressive, the team feeds off on that. Good energy spreads

It's how you close that counts

Too much vitrol here on Harden--who does the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, it's not Jeremy that needs to learn.

It's everyone else. They aren't running ANY plays for him. Or even clearing out the lane for him.

See what happens when they give him any freedom? Linsanity. He can do this every night.

      Delete
    2. I do agree with your sentiment. This staff is wacky.

But I disagree with waiting for plays to run for him. Jlin wasn't born in China--he is American. Americans don't wait. Yes 80 million dollar man and Parsons are favorites. Eff them if you feel you can get hot

But if he breaks a play or more than a couple, what are they going to do? Cut a 25 million dollar man?

      Still learning process I suppose

      Delete
    3. But you can't just charge into a clogged paint. Unless you're Lebron and get automatic bailout calls.

      Delete
  60. YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN LIN HANDLES THE BALL???

Please shut up, self-hating Lin fans...

Lin shoots poorly when he's not having any plays run for him. Like everyone in the league not named Durant.

Let him get a head of steam and see what happens.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Goddam Delfino doesn't know what to do with the ball and Lin was open and calling for the ball. Delfino didn't pass him the ball.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Delfino needs to give it up to Lin.

    Harden misses layup

Collison goes by Lin--who was flat footed. rare mistake

    ReplyDelete
  63. And the makeup call on previous play. this time it was really a shot by Jlin.

    Still, aggressive, aggressive.

LOVE the on the fly learning. Not squandering the staff vote of confidence

    ReplyDelete
  64. Delfino missed a wide open Lin that was streaking.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Great effort by Harden.

    Jlin no hesistation.

    YUP!

    3

    ReplyDelete
  66. Lin is clutch, no doubt about it.

I've written off Harden, he should just support Lin and let him close.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Jlin very aggressive.

Ball fake, gives it up to Harden. Gets a rest

    ReplyDelete
  68. Harden killed Linsanity again....

    ReplyDelete
  69. What a shot by Dirk. Echtes Wunderkind!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Nothing but net.

    Very nice form, good release.

Now Lin do this 10x in the next few minutes and shock the world :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. JLin rebounded nicely in this game. Lets hope they win it.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He only got 3 rebounds in this game.

      Delete
    2. Meaning he came back nicely. He wasn't playing well but he's getting the job done when it's important.

      Delete
    3. I'm ok if they lose this game. This is the JLin I want to see consistently. I live Beverley but I don't want JLin to give him even a slight chance to replace him at all.

      Delete
  72. Unfortunately I think he'll be ordered to pass to Harden so he can get his 20.

    ReplyDelete
  73. OK, so the Rockets down by 1 point with 3 minutes left to go ... and the best shot available is an iso jumper from Harden over 6'-9" Shawn Marion ...

    ReplyDelete
  74. McHale calls a time out. I wonder if he is drawing up a play for Harden. Most likely.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Harden 5-21 wow yet Mchale most likely tells him to keep shooting

    ReplyDelete
  76. Hubie called him out and Lin heard it. Lets get Hubie to be Lin's coach.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Harden just set a pick for Lin!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Nicely done JLin! Now shooting fts

    ReplyDelete
  79. Great job with that sell by Jeremy.

    EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT closing mentality

    Gets 2 FTs.

Man, he missed a FT!! haha,

    ReplyDelete
  80. Lin keeps missing his FT's ... not showing enough poise in front of this hostile crowd.

    ReplyDelete
  81. this game reminds me of lin's game against sixer's last season, i think he scored 16 in the 4th

    ReplyDelete
  82. Aaaand delfino to the rescue for Mavs...

    ReplyDelete
  83. rockets have been cursed at the free throw line the last several games

    ReplyDelete
  84. Lin with double on defense, gamble becomes great when James bricks

    ReplyDelete
  85. NO TD sighting. McHale and Co must have fallen in love with Beverly and regulate TD to the bench.

    ReplyDelete
  86. LINSANITY TAKING OVER THE GAME!!! THAT'S MY BOY J.LIN!! HAHAHA

    ReplyDelete
  87. Mayo gets bailout against Lin after Harden gets his stuff blocked.

    ReplyDelete
  88. LOL, Harden Hero Ball killing the Rockets.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Why does Mcfail keep going to Harden, let harden get into the flow of the game not FORCE it

      Delete
  89. Houston goes and does the same crap night in and night out. Lin is hot and he has to give up the ball to Harden.

Hubbie said it was an offensive foul instead of a foul on Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  90. That should be an offensive foul

    ReplyDelete
  91. Let's see if Jeremy feels his dragon blood rising and breaks a play within this last 1 minute.

Now that's when I know he has the Linsanity mentality again.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Bogus foul call. Should have been an o-foul.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Great job by Lin. Goes strong and gets James hack on arm

    ReplyDelete
  94. Lin is having a cool cocky laugh at the free throw line.. misses a FT!

    ReplyDelete
  95. oh man, Jeremy and his FTs tonight. Still a building block game

    ReplyDelete
  96. WOW HARDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Delfino was wide open or kick it out

      Delete
    2. hero mode 5/23 not hating but pls give chance to others.......

      Delete
    3. now he share to put the blame to others.

      Delete
  97. Good decision by Jlin v. James, going under screen. which results in james brick

    Harden bricks open shot.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Lin shooting his free throws too high. He's developed a mechanical flaw. Worst free throw shooting game of his career.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah, but his jump shooting has improved as a result. Early in the season, he was automatic at the line...and 10% everywhere else, lol.

      Delete
  99. Oh well, Lin had a chance to tie the game with a FT ... but went 1 for 2 again. He's been like that for the past 6 games. Is he even practicing his free throws ???

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think it's from lack of practice by not getting many FT's this year.

      Delete
  100. OKAY THAT'S IT... JAMES HARDEN IS A SUCKER! THANKS A LOT JAMES FOR COSTING US THIS GAME. GO BUY YOURSELF A BALL AND SLEEP ON IT.

    ReplyDelete
  101. 100 bucks say pass to Harden.

I can read right through McHale's playbook, cause I gots connections.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Lin wasn't very clutch at the FT line but he'll have a chance to redeem himself. Don't think McHale will trust a shaken up Harden.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Oh yeah blame game here it comes.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. There's no blame here. The game was lost a while back.

      Delete
    2. pls its not jeremy.obviously

      Delete
    3. Lin gets some blame there. If don't want Beverley to take your minutes, you need to be aggressive and make plays happen. Only players like LeBron can get a pass for passing on key shots.

      Delete
    4. agree with redking.

still impressed by rare vote of confidence by coaching staff. and loved how Jeremy responded for the most part!

      Delete
  104. Jlin playmaking, did not want to shoot 3. Parsons cutting, but Parsons...lol

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. He couldn't shoot it because Mike James closed out on him. Parsons couldn't handle the ball and it resulted in a TO.

      Delete
    2. The pass was too hard. No need to throw a rocket that close.

      Delete
    3. He's gotta shoot that in his face. That was a bad pass too. Dammit!

      Delete
    4. James closed but he had an opportunity. I do agree it would have been difficult. Furthermore I agree that was decision to probe the paint and try the pass to Parsons was a higher percentage

But you don't get respect from this staff when they design a play off a screen especially for you and you don't want to take a shot.

But still love how Jeremy took the approach his backcourt mate has demonstrated--I'm going to get mine and the team will have to follow my lead.

      Delete
  105. Replies
    1. No way, catch and shoot is not his game.

He's been getting to the line at will, though.

He made the right play. Parsons simply flubbed the catch -- he even shook his head "My Bad" right after.

      Delete
    2. Oh well. JLin had a good game.

      Delete
    3. still developing that elite mentality

      Delete
  106. Jeremy will get blamed for this loss...

...after Parsons can't catch a pass.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The way he walked away after the TO it almost seems as if Parsons blamed Lin :(

      Delete
  107. Lin can still dominate. Wow. He needs to look at his FT shot though. He started shooting it differently several games ago. Like his driving and big play late though. Harden and team deferring to Lin

    ReplyDelete
  108. Man, James was closing in fast. If Parsons caught that ball it was an easy 2.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Bad bad decisions and bad play from McHale to give Delfino the right to shoot. He didn't even come close.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Good fight in the 4th. Missed free throws and TOs caused them this game.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You're wrong. It's Harden struggling and playing 1 on 1 Harden ball that made them lose the game. They shouldn't always be trying to catch up. Every game they played where they lost they have been trying to catch up.

      Delete
  111. Moral of the game:

    JLin 19 pt with 6/13 and 1/3
    Harden 20 pts with 5/23 and 1/8

    ReplyDelete
  112. Beverly hasn't missed a shot from last night to tonight's game. He is the only one with a perfect 2 - 2 from 3 point land and 2 - 2 on FG's.

    ReplyDelete
  113. You think Lin is going to console TD and make him feel better since he didn't even see the light of the 2nd half with the emergence of Beverly.

    ReplyDelete
