  1. I really don't know why but I'm really excited for tonight's game. I think is going to be a great one. Hope we win, and I think we will see some Linsanity tonight.

  3. FYI, there's a new web-based roundtable talk show about our favorite Asian American NBA superstar--Jeremy Lin on Youtube via Asiancinevision.

Episode 1 was following the Rockets vs Lakers game on Wednesday.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zs24ryIBQw

Episode 2 would be after tonight's game and will feature an Asian-American studies Professor from Wisconsin.

I would think that many regular posters here on JeremyLin.net could also contribute positively, as well as constructive criticism on this Youtube talk show, especially founder JLin#1fan!!!

    1. The premise of that show is lame and stupid. It takes advantage of Jeremy Lin's fame and notoriety. Were any of the people on the "show" watching Warriors and Knicks games hoping to see if Lin would get a few minutes of PT? What about following Lin since Paly and Harvard? Any of them there in Vegas for NBA Summer League?

The real fans are this website's founder and posters here.

    2. I am not crazy about the name of the show and seems like they are still trying to figure out it. On the other hand, KUDOS for putting it out there!

  4. Wow - I really hate that court. Colors are awful!

  5. So far Rockets are running and gunning. Bradley was trying to make it difficult on Harden, but he got off of a double screen and hit a three. Lin with 2 points and 1 assist so far.

    1. Lin went coast to coast with Rondo looking on.

  6. One of the Boston announcers is talking like he is at a golf tournament. He is almost whispering. I don't hear the crowd booing loudly when Lin touches the ball. Don't know what one of the poster in the previous thread was eluding to.

  7. Another minute and Lin will sit while TD will be subbed in.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Lin got a nice steal anticipating Rondo's pass to his big man.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Asik can't hit a free throw for his life. Is he the next Howard. Perhaps they should do hack Ah Sick. He missed 4 FT's so far. As expected, Lin is getting his rest while Harden and TD are in. Time for Harden to rack up his points with Lin out.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Time for Harden to rack up his dumb TOs.

    ReplyDelete
  11. McHale and Sampson, this is one game where Toney Douglas will not save you.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Asik wasn't bad with FTs earlier on the season. What the hell happened. Damn.

  14. Harden's defense is again non existence. He bricked at least two 3 pointers already, but still have shooter's mentality and amnesia. Boston went on a run when Asik missed 4 FT's and coach sub Lin out for TD.

    ReplyDelete
  15. is it just me or is it boring to watch James Harden popping every single position? Forget about Lin, give delfino a go, Smith.. even TD.. fark me.. so boring!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I get scared as helll when lin shoots now.. he just needs to keep driving!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Lin is in and found Smith, but he missed the easy layup and got fouled. No assist for Lin. He can't shoot FT's either.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Missed layup, missed fts and missed the hook shot. Smith must have learned that from Asik :)

  18. Where is Harden? Wouldnt he usually play at this point?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, Harden usually rests at the beginning of the 2nd quarter until the 6 minute mark or if the Rockets are falling behind. That has been the usual sub pattern. Now it is Lin's turn to play floor general with TD.

  19. The Celtic crowd is deafening.

  20. The difference between elite and ordinary players is that the ordinary player finds some way to play poorly eg, Asik missed 1 and 2 footers, now he manages to copy Hack a Dwight. Admittedly he is not brought in for his offence but the way he is off balance and shoots with his forearm for Ft's is not NBA level.

Lin is holding this team together at the moment, good distribution and setting up shots for his team. Harden just not at Lin's level with careless TO's.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Lin with the sweet mid J. 4 pts 2 assists so far.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Lin sick of team mates missing easy shots. Doing it himself.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Why is Delfino handling with LIN and DOUGLAS *BOTH* on the court?!?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. redking - ROX has been doing this all season, it's part of McHale's offense.

      Delete
  24. The Celts are forcing the Rockets to the perimeter. They need penetration to collapse the defense. JLin needs to start attacking.

    ReplyDelete
  25. That saved by Terry I swear the ball went out of bounds. Lin with 3 pointer for 7 points.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Rockets playing horrible defense. Don't know why Asik ran out to cover Lin's man and left the basket open for an easy dunk. Lin poked the ball away and Delfino has no court awareness just ran by. The ball rolled to a Celtic player on the floor and he passed to Pearse in the corner for a 3. Delfino did not cover.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Wow ROCKETS DEFENSE IS NON-EXISTENT!!! At least TRY!!! They are not hustling. Delfino turn-over and he doesn't even pursue the ball. Everyone except Lin comes back to defend. Are you serious!? Plus I should have picked sullinger in fantasy I thought about it and didn't. Other than that, good note Lin is playing well. Hitting his shots and playing decent D.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think McHale is letting memories of Boston Garden get to him. He has been terrible with his subs and is getting killed. Boston bench is outplaying Houston bench.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Relying too much on the 3 ball.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Garbage defense getting caught on hc sets heres where exp counts lin tried and td got it to 3 but lack of post d is killing them

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sullinger is making the Rox bigs look like idiots.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Note to Rockets organization: Marcus Morris and Patterson cannot bang inside with the big boys. Need a solid PF.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Rockets shots all missing, including FREE Throws, Celtics not missing any. Rockets under pressure - too many desperate passes and ball watching during defence. Need to wake up. Time for Harden to shoot more?

    ReplyDelete
  34. wow.. what happened to the Rockets' D?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Seriously what the eff is going on.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Move the damn ball. Celts are trapping hard so move the ball.

      Delete
  36. 3 rox bigs couldn't out rebound sullinger.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Harden got trapped and instead of passing it tried to dribble through it and lost the ball. Another stupid TO by Harden. Morris tried to think he is Kareem Abdul and float the ball to the basket over KG and got blocked. SMH.

    ReplyDelete
  38. TO's harden, use your team if your getting doubled fkn pass it off.. bloody hogg..

    ReplyDelete
  39. When Celts are trapping like this, they will leave someone open. So find the open man. Harden needs to catch that a trap is coming and pass it before it happens.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Come on harden pass the ball when they trap you........

    ReplyDelete
  41. ack!!!! Celts are trapping much. pass the damn ball when you're trapped Harden...

    ReplyDelete
  42. it's nice to see that Lin seems like the only rocket playing well.

    ReplyDelete
  43. i cant stand Hardens face for some reason lol.. he never smiles.

    ReplyDelete
  44. J Lin has a high arc on his shot ay?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Replies
    1. That usually happens when his opponent actually play D against him and stop his move. It's like he is confused and don't know what to do.

      Delete
    2. I would assume every team would scout J Harden though, why today? the dude D'ing up on him playing better D than most?

      Delete
    3. In pre-game interview, Doc had great things to say about Harden but only said Lin has played great in some games but not well in others. Not saying it's racism outright, but Jeremy, just like Yao before him, definitely doesn't get the respect I believe he deserves.

      Delete
  46. Harden with 5 TO's already for this game. Another errant pass to no man's land Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Seem like only Lin is playing his tail off....

    ReplyDelete
  48. Take it strong young man take it strong and Lin got and 1 on Rondo with Parson on the wing. Nice aggressive move Lin.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Perhaps Lin is seeing that Harden's game is suffering and he is going into Linsanity mode.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. he should always go into the mode, fark harden eggo.

      Delete
  50. Lin is doing a good job containing Rondo. Only 3 assist for Rondo considering the C's are shooting 56%.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I like how he leaned in to get the bump

    ReplyDelete
  52. Jeremy is the only one hustlin'. disagree with announcers saying Lin cannot stay against Rondo.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. racism man, plain and simple.

      Delete
    2. He's not racist. He's just pro Celtics. That was just a dumb statement he made.

      Delete
    3. Lin is playing well tonight, good defense and playing under control. I hope he looks for his shot more in 2nd half

      Delete
  53. Seem like only Lin is playing his tail off....

    ReplyDelete
  54. Less than 50 pts in half is not a good sign for Rockets. Lin is playing great. Patterson can make a shot. Defence was non-existant. Now is way better. It's still only by 8, if there is a team that knows how to come out of a deficit in the first half is the Rockets. Let's GO! We got to win this one!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Come on harden pass the ball when they trap you........

    ReplyDelete
  56. That might be the BEST first half Jeremy has played ALL SEASON.

He was outstanding in every way. Too bad Asik couldn't make his FTs and his other teammates slacked off on defense.

Zero turnovers! Hehe, don't want to jinx him.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. But you just did :) If he turns it over it will be on you :)

      Delete
    2. So true. First game this season that Lin played with total control.

      Delete
  57. Why is Jeremy Lin +/- at 0 when he is 4-8, 1 -2 from 3 pt land, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 10 points?

On a happier note, the Knicks are getting bullied by The Bulls. No pun intended.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Bulls already bullied the Knicks twice. second game resulted to ejection of Melo, Tyson, and Woodson. wouldn't be surprised if it happens again. *big grin*

      Delete
  58. McHale needs to adjust on defense in regards to Jared Sullinger or this game is over.

    ReplyDelete
  59. McHale's half time speech better be damn good or else the Rockets will be shot down from outer space and come crashing back to Earth again. Ron Jeremy Lin is the only penetrator for this game. Osama Bin Harden is fumbling away the Rock and thinking he can do it all by himself.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This is winnable game even with the lead Celts has.

      Delete
  60. The Rockets are not playing their up-tempo game. The Celts are doing a good job preventing it by getting back on transition D. Dumb TOs in the first half by all except, JLIN, for once is giving Celts easy points. Rockets rotation defense is bad, need to tighten up.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Lin could probably average 9-10 Assist if he had finisher like C's Garnett and Pierce. That's why Rondo's assist stats are debatable.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. true. C's have better catchers

      Delete
    2. Honestly, Rondo's stats are inflated. Put Jeremy on the Celtics he'd average just as many dimes imo. Also, Rondo gets assists credited to him that aren't even legit assists.

      Delete
    3. i think assists can also be about chemistry rondo pierce and garnett have been playing together for years.

      Delete
  62. McHale better make adjustments on his offense. Rockets main scorer will be trapped and trapped. play uptempo and outrun Celts

    ReplyDelete
  63. Sane-0-shit on a different day. JLin play D vs 5 opponents. Look, if they lose this game, they will put it on JLin again. Harden will turn on his iso-hero mode to bump up his stat in 2nd half and JLin will left out standing in the corner again cuz the ball will not come back to him once he let it go.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. i doubt if they blame Jlin here unless he stunk its out in the second half. the hornet game was so ugly but i blame the ref there.those were blatant bad calls. The kind of call that ruins momentum and rhythm of players. You can't attack because ull get a charge and you cant defend because they call even the slightest contact and yet they let the other team get away with the same shit. of course there will be game like that and Jlin need to adjust and not let his momentum and rhythm be affected too much.

  64. 7 footer and can't make a point blank layup. sad

    1. He misses from 1 foot. What do you expect from 7?

  65. Time to sub out Asik. Liability

    ReplyDelete
  66. This Rockets team besides Lin and Harden (only on offense) is trash.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Jeremy can evade traps better than Harden

    ReplyDelete
  68. My God. Effen Asik. He really suck like sheeeeeeeeeeeeet.
