Same game plan. Nothing's new. I don't think the Rox's coaching staff will change anything for JLin. It's up to him to just ignore the coaches and just turn his game on by himself. If he's just gonna be an obedient player, then this season will be a long season for us fans.
I will point out right there... that immediately LIN is HOT with the assist. On third defensive board it outletted to Harden with no appreciable advantage over an outlet to LIN. This is how you build LINSANITY ... Lin gets that third outlet and builds THE FLOW ... instead we get a post up turnaround miss by PAT-PAT ... not saying LIN would have got better ... but if you want to build the LINSANITY... that is how you do it.
meanwhile there have now been three outlets in a row that he hasn't touched.
Man, that was sick how he set up Asik for a dunk. Damm, i don't know why the coach don't let him run the point on every possession. It looks so effortless on offense when JLin run the point.
This is one of the rare times where the lack of a clear person bringing the ball up the court is keeping the Celtics off-balance.
Will probably wear off as time passes.
If there is an obvious reason why they are not constantly going to Lin, it's probably because they want to exploit the Harden/Lee mismatch rather than go through the man being guarded by Rajon Rondo
Why do you even bench Lin when the team is doing fine and it's only 5 min to the game? Unless you just want to give TD some playing time. Lin is always the first one to sit even if he's doing good.
- The Rockets are playing well. The Rockets are 27-19 in 1Q. They are containing the Celtics rather well, and Rondo is 1-4 on the floor. The Rox pushed the ball up with speed and energy, and the lack of a clear PG actually worked tonight. It seemed to confound the Celtics rotation.
- Jeremy Lin was subbed out early in the 1Q as usual. I am going to defend that substitution. If you wanted to rest Lin, that would be a decent time. Rondo was rather cold and his teammates were producing. It did not look like it would threaten to kill momentum. Can't complain.
- The Celtics are looking old and slow.
In any case Lin is back to start the 2Q and playing well.
Must admit, there are "ok" TOs and there are ugly TOs. Those were pretty ugly. When Lin starts turning over so does the team. Rox already has 9 TOs. Tos have let BOS get back into the game.
Rox coaching is terrible TOO many players dribbling up the ball, what is the mindset of this team. No roles set in stone, just do whatever u want type of offense
Harden commits all kinds of TOs. I don't have stats but I guess the main type of TO is getting trapped after a PnR. Those are acceptable - happens to everyone. But getting the ball stolen on those easy, basic passes... ugh.
Its not fear dude. One of the anouncers just said something about another team -> if they are thinking too much it looks like a lag of effort. Same with Lin. Coaches try to tailor him to the team when they should tailor the team to him...
All the big men should treat Lin like their ringleader. Maybe they should carry him around on a palanquin. He is the only one who really knows how to make them score and look like big time heroes.
i dont get the off the bench strategy that people are talking about with lin. Since harden rarely rests in the games he'll be playing with him on the court most of the time anyway. wont solve the problem.
Heh, you couldn't actually hear what he said, but it was pretty clear from context.
Jeremy called for the ball WIDE OPEN on the fastbreak -- would have been an easy layup/dunk.
But Chandler missed him, and then tried to "make it up" to Jeremy by passing him the ball for a catch-and-shoot 3.
After he bricked it, Jeremy went up to Chandler and had a quick word (no smiles). IMO, it's pretty clear he said something like "Get it to me sooner." And he's darn right. Missed shot or now, Parsons missed an easy layup.
Announcers are suggesting that Lin come off the bench to run the second unit. It might be a good idea if he sets up Smith down low and passes out to 3 point shooters Morris and Delfino.
Cause Harden is pretty much a full time player. Here is what I think:
Harden and Lin will learn to play together as time goes by. Developing chmenistry between two guys like them takes time. They CAN be killer combo.
Meanwhile - they can take Lin out - let Harden heroball with Douglas - take Harden out - Lin back in and let Lin freestyle with Douglas. I think thats what they tried...
- As for everyone saying that Parsons should have passed to Lin when Lin was open for a lay up - he probably should have! Or some kind of fake pass to open up his own path to the basket. In the end he had to throw it out to Lin for an open 3. Lin probably should have hit it, but for some reason Lin's catch and shoot skills remain dismal. Personally, I cannot understand how a person can shoot better off the dribble than off the catch and shoot. It's frankly bizarre to me.
- Lin has contained Rondo remarkably well during the first half. TD did a decent job as well, but Lin really has Rondo starving. Lin's blocks has been great.
- Lin hardly handled the ball in 1Q and there was a stretch of sloppy play in 2Q. Yet Lin has 7 assists already, and they were generally "good" assists.
- Smith looks really good with Lin. Their chemistry is palpable. Really, Lin thrives when the big man rolls hard to the paint, and is looking to attack the basket. If you can catch the ball, Lin can get it to you. Patterson is a good pick and pop option and opens up the lane for Lin and Harden by spacing the floor, but Smith is way more interesting to watch.
- As I have mentioned, Lin got sloppy and let his team get sloppy for a bit, and that was ugly. Lin is a young player and his brain is going to enter dumb "rookie" mode every so often, but I do think that the fact his TOs comes in bunches makes the effect of the negative momentum swing that much more pronounced.
Personally, Lin's assists and defence have really impressed me so far. If he can keep the TOs down, I wouldn't mind if Lin doesn't score another point the rest of the game as long as he keeps feeding great looks to guys like Smith and gives me more huge PG blocks and steals. Basically, the Rondo-iest game haha.
I decided to un-retire and post again. Saw Nemo post racist comments against people of other races and say crazy stuff on here.
Plus everyone on here including the OP is starting to see the obvious - Lin is simply handcuffed on this team for a combination of being Asian, humble, religious, non-confrontational, passive, undrafted, and inexperienced. While we do overlook Lin's shortcomings as his his fans, it's freaking obvious he is being underutilized so Morey can look like a genius for his Harden signing.
Whatever the reason, Lin is being put in a position to be the workhorse scrub of the team, and a 4th/5th option on offense. It is what it is. And it causes Lin to press and shoot some ugly runners and right handed floater layups.
I am so tired of Jon Barry and the rest of the media. Barry's so subconsciously racist it's pathetic. Because Barry was such an NBA scrub, he cannot fathom an Asian kid who grew up in Barry's hometown backyard can play ball.
Lin clearly blocks Rondo, Barry insists it's a block. I mean seriously, Barry can't give Lin ANY credit. He just can't. He hated Lin from day 1. "Lin is somewhere between Linsanity and what he is right now and that's what he is." Really Barry? How do you know? Because you were a scrub who couldn't improve? Everyone with an ounce of credibility can see Lin is handcuffed from John Hollinger to Ric Bucher.
Man, I am tired of the Lin hate. Lin is pretty much a more athletic Nash who can't shoot the ball nearly as well. But nobody will even give Lin that much credit. Blocks are merely tipped passes, nice assists are the result of Lin being lucky. 38 point games are flukes.
These people want Lin to be the scrub they think he is, but Lin is no scrub. However, Lin has not gotten to the point where he is able to show every game he can deliver time and time again. On this Rocket's team, it will never happen unless Harden breaks his leg and is on injured reserve.
Finally, I think Parsons is the son Mchale never had. I like Parsons and everything he does, but he is not that fast and should NOT be dribbling the ball up the court like he does all the time. Mchale loves it though because Mchale would probably prefer for Parsons to be the star of this team even over Harden.
I don't get why Harden is labeled "unselfish" the guy is a ball hog. I've seen so many terrible 1 vs 5 drives that ended up in blocked shots by him this game.
Yeah I am with singlinezigzag. I actually think the problem is that the Rox don't move enough to get themselves open so that Harden has someone to kick out to when he gets double teamed.
the coaches are not giving them enough plays to maximize their ability. harden used to be efficient. Now he's just a ball hog? Lin is an All-star. and now just a role player? that's on the coach. They play better when they just play on instinct.
Jeremy does it usually when he has to and always looks to make the pass if it's there. When Harden does there are other players WIDE OPEN but he gets tunnel vision.
He robs Jeremy of at last 2-3 assists per game on average, almost all of them point-blank layups or dunks. It's infuriating at times. Jeremy should be averaging 8-9 assists per game.
You can say that of almost any PG who has to play with a big man who is bad at finishing though. Not everyone has the luxury of playing with the Tyson Chandlers and Garnetts of the world.
Yeah but I don't think there are many other starting big men who can't make a point-blank layup or dunk. It's one thing when you can't finish against defense, another when you can't make wide-open shots.
Demarcus Cousins, Tyson Chandler, Javale McGee, Joakim Noah, Marc Gasol, list is endless.
Well, if you think about it, without Asik and his defence/rebounds, the Rox probably would have 5 or 6 fewer possessions per game - thus "robbing" Lin of several opportunities for assists!
And Asik's scoring percentage under the rim is about the same as Demarcus Cousins' - .583 vs .598. That is not really a significant difference. But I give you the other guys. Cousins is kind of overrated IMHO.
Lin is the weak little Asian who we all know was only undrafted due to how he looked and was perceived while the rest of the masses believe Lin was an undrafted scrub who happens to be Asian, if you aren't use to that already by now...
Jon Barry...I can't stand the guy. He's been a Lin doubter from day one and this entire game announcing he's been bashing Jeremy saying he has a weak left hand over and over.
Lin's overall effect is not anymore awesome than the next player to be fair. It's just that Lin can get 25/8/6/2/1 every game on average if he was the lead guard of the team while keeping the team competitive. And we all wish we could see him do that and how great his teams would be...But nobody except us seems to believe us for some reason though it's an objective analysis.
I just don't understand this coach. In a game like this, JLin hasn't been playing bad why bench him the entire 4th. Douglas hasn't been playing spectacular either. McHale is starting to piss me the fxxx off.
Seriously, JLin should just pretend that he's got some knee pain or something and sit out for 10 games. Let them start Douglas and see what happens. Fxxx I'm pissed.
Yay basketball!
ReplyDeleteAsik: Blown layups 1 and counting lol
ReplyDeleteLet's go Lin!
ReplyDeleteGo! Rockets & JL!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck Jeremy!
ReplyDeleteSame game plan. Nothing's new. I don't think the Rox's coaching staff will change anything for JLin. It's up to him to just ignore the coaches and just turn his game on by himself. If he's just gonna be an obedient player, then this season will be a long season for us fans.

ReplyDeletemeanwhile there have now been three outlets in a row that he hasn't touched.
make that four
ReplyDeleteNo one wants to pass to Lin on the outlet. Instruced by coaches to not outlet to the point guard?
ReplyDeleteStill only a few touches for Lin
ReplyDeleteHow many times have Parsons brought the ball down the court? WTH is going on? Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................
ReplyDeleteChill out guys... Rox off to a decent start. Lin will get his touches later. Whatever the Rox are doing it's working. 13-4 start now.
ReplyDeleteLin have been superb defensively so far
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, his help and man defence has been fantastic.
DeleteThat backwards pass from Lin to Asik -> ingenius!
ReplyDeleteMan, that was sick how he set up Asik for a dunk. Damm, i don't know why the coach don't let him run the point on every possession. It looks so effortless on offense when JLin run the point.

not again
ReplyDeleteFunny - we all know what youre talking about :)
DeleteLin already benched because he made asik turn the ball over. He's benched for the most ridiculous things..
ReplyDeleteLin gets benched near the end of the first quarter consistently. I think it is just a standard rotation.
Delete@wifflewiffle yeah...i think that's what mchale's trying.
DeleteThat is an understatement. Lin only logged 06:32 for the 1st quarter.
DeleteNot unusual... he often is subbed out around that time.
DeleteHaha! I knew it! They would put lin on the bench early if he missed one shot!
ReplyDeleteAnd guess who's the first to get benched? Yeah, I know....
ReplyDeleteLin is always the first to get subbed out.
ReplyDeleteHe only took one shot ! Wtf ? Same thing man like before . Nothing has changed.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you even bench Lin when the team is doing fine and it's only 5 min to the game? Unless you just want to give TD some playing time. Lin is always the first one to sit even if he's doing good.
ReplyDeleteTD will have more mins than Lin after 1 quarter...
ReplyDeleteWho is the PG in this team? Parsons, Harden, Lin???? Everybody is taking the ball down. The outlet never goes to Lin.
ReplyDeleteTD FAIL.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteMchale, Shouldn't you bench Douglas? He just shot a airball.
ReplyDeleteSubbed back in with 19.3 seconds left? What mockery is this?
ReplyDeleteSeems they cancel it lol
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteSame o-shit on a different day.
ReplyDeleteso that's what Lin does better than TD...you know, get the ball to the right man.
ReplyDeleteFirst quarter thoughts:
ReplyDelete- The Rockets are playing well. The Rockets are 27-19 in 1Q. They are containing the Celtics rather well, and Rondo is 1-4 on the floor. The Rox pushed the ball up with speed and energy, and the lack of a clear PG actually worked tonight. It seemed to confound the Celtics rotation.

In any case Lin is back to start the 2Q and playing well.
Also we really don't need to poop on Toney Douglas so much... Not his fault he gets subbed in for Lin...
Delete"Jeremy Lin was subbed out early in the 1Q as usual."
DeleteMcHale making more effort to split up Lin and Harden.
Lin the shot blocker.
ReplyDeleteNothing Douglas do that can make him look bad
ReplyDeleteThe Rox getting a bit sloppy now
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteLin! Shoot the ball!
ReplyDeletesloppy.
ReplyDeleteLin tried to drive into a traffic and got stopped. That was not a smart decision; should have stopped and hit a jumper.
Deletetwo consecutive turnovers by Lin. He will be benched now.
ReplyDeleteMust admit, there are "ok" TOs and there are ugly TOs. Those were pretty ugly. When Lin starts turning over so does the team. Rox already has 9 TOs. Tos have let BOS get back into the game.
Deleteshh
DeleteHow many turnovers did Rondo have tonight ... answer: 8 ! Nobody talks about that...
DeleteJLin afraid to shoot and driving recklessly. Two turnovers in one minute.
ReplyDeleteOmg! Lin doesn't look good tonight .
ReplyDeleteShould get 10+ assists though.
DeleteHe's been making great passes actually. And playing great D. Only one bad TO.
DeleteLin has some good chemistry with Smith.
DeleteHe should get benched if he continues to pass up open shots.
ReplyDeleteJeremy has 4 assists despite handling the ball maybe 7 or 8 possessions.
ReplyDeleteThat last TO was bad, but I can't blame him. His teammates won't pass him the ball, so he forced a bad drive -- oppan Harden-style!
Disagree. Celtics are giving him the jumper but he won't take it.
DeleteI think lin is trying to force to score . He got no point yet .
ReplyDeleteall we should are 3's.
ReplyDeleteLin is forcing it a bit right now.
ReplyDeleteBenching him really cooled him off. He looked good to start the game.
DeleteHe's just gotta attack. He's being too unselfish.
I think this might just be a "rebuilding" year for Jeremy. Coaches don't believe in him, and his jumper isn't strong enough yet to play off the ball.
Frustrating. If Houston just get the team together, we'd have Linsanity every night and Kevin Martin averaging 20ppg as a catch-and-shoot sniper.
Nice job, Morey.
juts check in for the game. Wow celtics FG% is low. Is the rockets defense good or they just really suck.
ReplyDeleteIs there really no play set that Lin can execute? Seems we live and die by the 3
ReplyDeletethat's on lin, he was on terry and over helping.
ReplyDeleteDelfino flop.
ReplyDeleteTD is playing just as shitty as Lin is, he better not get back in the game for awhile.
ReplyDeleteIt's not going to escape McHale's notice that TOs are up drastically with Lin handling the ball primarily.
DeleteI wish Lin would take more shots and do more of the attempted backdoor cuts like against the Spurs.
Agreed. Lin has good (active) off the ball skills. Don't know why they're barely used with the Rockets.
DeleteLin is not controlling the offense right now. It's sloppy.
ReplyDeletealso, why isn't Lin or any of the other guys looking for Harden more?
ReplyDeleteHe just doesn't want to shoot. Why?
ReplyDeleteLol... sad game so far
ReplyDeleteDoes Rondo make Lin nervous?
ReplyDeleteHmmmm! He got nervous when he got double team and cause a TO.
ReplyDeletei know shoot the ball shoot the ball shoot the ball ah ah ah ah
ReplyDeleteSo what is it going to take for Lin to be aggressive every night?
ReplyDeletethose TO are hurting them. Its like automatic transition points for the other team.
DeleteThat's more like it. Wiiiiiiide open. Take it? Knock it down.
ReplyDeleteLol... sad game so far
ReplyDeleteThat FT J is Lin's most consistent outside shot. McHale needs to set that up more.
ReplyDeleteHarden joins the dumb TO club. It's becoming a habit for Harden - TO from the point on a simple perimeter pass.
ReplyDeletedidnt know Harden is number 1 in TO's
DeleteRox coaching is terrible TOO many players dribbling up the ball, what is the mindset of this team. No roles set in stone, just do whatever u want type of offense
DeleteHarden commits all kinds of TOs. I don't have stats but I guess the main type of TO is getting trapped after a PnR. Those are acceptable - happens to everyone. But getting the ball stolen on those easy, basic passes... ugh.
DeletePierce - talk about old man game.
ReplyDeleteGood d action by Lin
ReplyDeleteSomebody wanted to torch Lin - didnt work...
DeleteLin told Rondo to take that somewhere else. lol
DeleteWas it Rondo who wanted to kick Lins ass?
Delete[Rhetorical ?]
DeleteYes. :)
Wow Lin is killing Rondo right now.
ReplyDeletePay attention to Lin's defensive game, not the box score. Pretty fantastic tonight.
Lin making it happen on D
ReplyDeleteDAYUM.
ReplyDeleteLin just ATE Rondo's lunch. TWICE.
Awesome.
OH SHIT. What a block!
ReplyDeletetwo of them!
DeleteDouglas better defensively than Lin? HA!
ReplyDeleteThis game to me shows the lack of IQ at the coaching position and how bad harden can be to a teams success
ReplyDeleteHe need to play with confident and not afraid to make mistakes .
ReplyDeleteIts not fear dude. One of the anouncers just said something about another team -> if they are thinking too much it looks like a lag of effort. Same with Lin. Coaches try to tailor him to the team when they should tailor the team to him...
DeleteLike JLin's defensive effort so far but need to cut down the TO.
ReplyDeleteLIN IS THE BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER ON THE ROX TEAM LOL
ReplyDeleteWhere can I watch live stream?
ReplyDeleteSTFU Jon Barry.
ReplyDeleteHeh they just played highlights of Lin's assists and TOs... and they noted that 2 of his TOs happen when he drives left.
ReplyDeleteLin should just drive right all game and let Harden drive left all game. Like US/England roads lol
The Rocket coaches still haven't figured this out yet and don't have sets drawn up. LOL!
DeleteOne of those TO's was a bounce pass to Chandler that got kicked by Garnett, but the refs didn't see it that way. On replay it's very clear.
Deletedamn it chandler, get the f.uck out of the lane, Lin was going in!
ReplyDeleteDid I say there was good chemistry between Lin and Smith? There it was again.
ReplyDeleteAnd again!
DeleteIm still waiting for the alley oop :)
Deletereally good chemistry.
Deletesmith is very athletic. When he gain more confidence he'll do great in this league.
DeleteLol nice 3 assist run
ReplyDeleteLin making Smith look good... if this goes on he will have to give Lin some of his money...
ReplyDeleteFellow undrafted gotta help each other out. If I'm Smith, I would wine and dine Lin every night
DeleteAll the big men should treat Lin like their ringleader. Maybe they should carry him around on a palanquin. He is the only one who really knows how to make them score and look like big time heroes.
Deletei dont get the off the bench strategy that people are talking about with lin. Since harden rarely rests in the games he'll be playing with him on the court most of the time anyway. wont solve the problem.
ReplyDeleteit's because people like Barry are retarded and just spew talking points.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeletePassing clinic by Lin!!!
ReplyDeleteGreg Smith is a GREAT finisher. Best on the team.
Damn it, Chandler! He missed Lin (again) for a fast-break layup. Then Jeremy bricked the 3.
I like how Jeremy gave Parsons a quick word ("Get it to me earlier, man!")
Still a very nice half by Jeremy. Very Rondo-like!
did Lin say that to Parsons?
DeleteChandler is not a good bball player IMHO borderline starter
DeleteHeh, you couldn't actually hear what he said, but it was pretty clear from context.
DeleteJeremy called for the ball WIDE OPEN on the fastbreak -- would have been an easy layup/dunk.
But Chandler missed him, and then tried to "make it up" to Jeremy by passing him the ball for a catch-and-shoot 3.

Let him play assists tonight ! Just make it 2 pts 20 assists .Dont score then.
ReplyDeleteOut Rondo-ing Rondo against Rondo? hah
Deletelol - that would look good as well...
DeleteLin to Smith, keep it going!
ReplyDeleteLin already has a solid stat line everywhere except for FGAs and points.
ReplyDeleteI hate that harden came to the Rox, lin gets about 3 -4 shots by halftime and rarely gets to the FT line. Lin should run the team
ReplyDeleteLOL chill out. Lin is playing decently so far (except for the TOs). Harden's cold tonight but 7 shots in 2Q isn't really a lot.
DeleteThe Rox NEED Harden and Lin to play well if they want any chance at making the playoffs.
DeleteHarden and Lin need to shoot more or Lin needs to find Harden so he can shoot more.
Need to make that open 3.
ReplyDeleteWas Sampson chewing Lin out at the end of the half? That's what some people are saying.
ReplyDeleteWhy just for missing the open 3? Lin is playing pretty well in assists and D.
DeleteSeriously? Can he do that? Doesnt Lin make like 10 times the money or so?
DeleteAnnouncers are suggesting that Lin come off the bench to run the second unit. It might be a good idea if he sets up Smith down low and passes out to 3 point shooters Morris and Delfino.
ReplyDeletemost of his minutes would still overlap with Harden. Why don't people get that?
Delete@agree 100% with k.smith.
DeleteCause Harden is pretty much a full time player.
Watch Sampson on the bench with lins TOs, he has strong physical reactions. Don't know if it's consistent with everybody ... But I doubt it.
ReplyDeletewhat the hell are those announcers doing? do they even know they're on?? And these are professionals? I heard better on local basketball.
DeleteDo the announcers know that we can hear what they're saying off air? LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching the live stream.
Deletethat's what i'm also thinking. But can't they even turn off their mic?
DeleteEnd of 1st half thought

DeleteYeah but I don't think there are many other starting big men who can't make a point-blank layup or dunk. It's one thing when you can't finish against defense, another when you can't make wide-open shots.
DeleteDemarcus Cousins, Tyson Chandler, Javale McGee, Joakim Noah, Marc Gasol, list is endless.
Most centers in this league can at least make layups or dunk it when that close to the basket!
DeleteWell, if you think about it, without Asik and his defence/rebounds, the Rox probably would have 5 or 6 fewer possessions per game - thus "robbing" Lin of several opportunities for assists!
DeleteAnd Asik's scoring percentage under the rim is about the same as Demarcus Cousins' - .583 vs .598. That is not really a significant difference. But I give you the other guys. Cousins is kind of overrated IMHO.
Lin armlocks Rondo on the floor - almost went for submission :) Anouncers totally misread the situation saying Rondo armlocked Lin
ReplyDeleteLin is the weak little Asian who we all know was only undrafted due to how he looked and was perceived while the rest of the masses believe Lin was an undrafted scrub who happens to be Asian, if you aren't use to that already by now...
DeleteThese commentators' "off-the-record" comments are hilarious
ReplyDeleteYeah they even said that Asik scored when Asik was not there. It was Smith...
DeleteLMAO, I agree!
DeleteWow... did you just see that pass to Smith?!?
ReplyDeleteDont wanna get hit on the head by that pass.
DeleteI think smith is a nice guy lol maybe a shy type.
ReplyDeleteJon Barry...I can't stand the guy. He's been a Lin doubter from day one and this entire game announcing he's been bashing Jeremy saying he has a weak left hand over and over.
ReplyDeleteRead what I wrote above. He hates Lin's success. He will discount Lin even if Lin wins the NBA championship as the lead guard. It is what it is.
DeleteI got a feeling Rockets will blow the lead again when Lin is benched
ReplyDeleteDont jinx man... though you could be right :)
DeleteCan't knock TD for being aggressive driving it to the hoop.
ReplyDeleteLin's overall effect is not anymore awesome than the next player to be fair. It's just that Lin can get 25/8/6/2/1 every game on average if he was the lead guard of the team while keeping the team competitive. And we all wish we could see him do that and how great his teams would be...But nobody except us seems to believe us for some reason though it's an objective analysis.
ReplyDeleteThat's a run away MVP number.
DeleteLOL 25/8/6?? Do you know how few players get those numbers?
DeleteIf there's one thing that bugs me, it's the hugely unlikely stat lines that people throw out there.
25/8! Steve Nash and John Stockton never even managed 20/8 EVER.
There are only THREE NBA players who have ever managed 25/8 more than one season. They are:
Tiny Archibald
Oscar Robertson
Jerry West
They are HOF guards btw.
And if we go with the 25/8/6 statline, only three players have ever averaged it even one season. Michael Jordan. Oscar Robertson. Lebron James.
DeleteGuys, new thread.
ReplyDeletejeremy lin sitting the whole 4th quarter can you believe that
ReplyDeletewhere is everyone?
ReplyDeletethis is crazy jeremy benched????? F this. I think they should just trade him to another team
ReplyDeleteYet another less than 30 minutes game for Lin again
ReplyDeleteI just don't understand this coach. In a game like this, JLin hasn't been playing bad why bench him the entire 4th. Douglas hasn't been playing spectacular either. McHale is starting to piss me the fxxx off.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, JLin should just pretend that he's got some knee pain or something and sit out for 10 games. Let them start Douglas and see what happens. Fxxx I'm pissed.
