Hate John Barry COmment. best scoring PG in first 5 first and the 25 games is legit. Just because you can't make as a NBA starter doesn't cause you to be jealous. and yeah bench JL while he was playing great defense and running good offense. FK McHale.
That steal by Lin is pretty much the same steal he did during summer league which led to dunk. Commentator are right, he is very unselfish to pass it to douglas.
Lin rested the last 5 min of the 1st quarter and Harden hasn't played in the 2nd quarter.
It looks like McHale wants to distribute playmaking between Harden and Lin in the first half by giving one rest while the other is on court so Houston can push the pace.
It's a great plan because the Bulls can't score enough against Houston in a fast-paced game. Let's watch Houston run Chicago to the ground!
I never know what to expect from McHale rotations. Like sitting Harden out for the first six minutes of the 2Q. Working out quite well though, this early Lin substitution -> Harden sits out 2Q tactic. Keeping constant pressure on CHI.
Atleast Mchale is trusting lin to lead plays without harden on the court. Its a good rotation. The beard will be well rested and attack immediately the second he is back.
It's okay though. I used that stereotype against people during my jiujitsu days. People would judge me by by look and I would blow by them with strength and quickness.
The Harden/Lin pick and roll is most reminiscent of the Anthony/Lin pick and roll that Woodson was developing before Lin got hurt. Similar to Harden in the Harden/Lin PnR, opposing defenders were reluctant to leave Anthony and Lin took advantage by driving through. Very similar look for both sets.
The last stretch of games has seen Lin restored to his Woodson playing level, which could and should have happened much earlier in the season. Perhaps the Rockets coaches finally put away the Linsanity gametape and got around to watching the better applicable gametape of Lin playing for Woodson.
Bulls' starting to play physical D and doing more double teams on ball handlers... I'll be expecting Noah to punk in the second half and draw blood from one of the Rockets...
It's like watching the old video game Burgertime in which an egg, a hot dog, and a pickle chase around this insane little chef who tries to make hamburgers by walking on ingredients!
Bill Simmons hella annoying been bashing on Jeremy hard when Jeremy was still recovering but JALEN Rose had Jeremys back. And magic and Michael wilborn always a fan of Jeremy.
Simmons wrote good stuff on Lin last season, though. Like many NBA watchers, Simmons wasn't aware that Lin had improved this season, but his coaches were taking the ball out of his hands and playing Lin to his weakness.
Lin isn't doing anything now he wasn't doing from the start of the season. He's just being allowed to do the good stuff more now. Lin often would start games playing like a PG and play well, then the ball and minutes would be taken from him during the course of the game.
The difference now is the ball isn't being taken out of his hands and Lin is being allowed to play to his strength rather than his weakness (deep spot ups). Lin isn't being stashed in the corner and his role isn't being radically diminished during the course of games anymore. He's being used like a real PG finally and the results show it.
Oh and Felton played pretty bad today in terms of shooting. It def made a difference in the score and i heard the knicks fan were unhappy with his play today! +1 for Lin
felton is playing pretty bad in the last 5 games i think. The guy is not even trying to create shot for the others. He's a trigger happy PG who's badly missing.
It was confidence and the aggressiveness that he was lacking. He's moving to the paint more often without hesitation and he's taking more shots. I like that, hopefully this continues.
I actually start to feel bad for the Bulls. They had noone to stop Harden and Lin and they couldn't buy a basket on the other end. This could turn to a 35pt lead soon
Beleneli is such an underrated player... Gosh missed him from the raptors (yes, a raptors fan here. Torotonian here! I always knew he had an eye for a 3
lets get this started
ReplyDeleteWhere can I watch this online...Wife is hoggin' TV :/

it's free on espn.go.com.
DeleteGood Luck Jeremy!
ReplyDeleteJLin doing a good defensive job on Kirk Heinrich, shot only 1-3, but now the coach benches him for Douglas with 5 minutes left in the 1st.
ReplyDeletethis is not good for jlin
ReplyDeleteNice charge drawn by Lin
ReplyDeleteHate John Barry COmment. best scoring PG in first 5 first and the 25 games is legit. Just because you can't make as a NBA starter doesn't cause you to be jealous. and yeah bench JL while he was playing great defense and running good offense. FK McHale.
ReplyDeleteBarry sips hatorade during work.
DeleteThat steal by Lin is pretty much the same steal he did during summer league which led to dunk. Commentator are right, he is very unselfish to pass it to douglas.
ReplyDeleteI think there is no one JLin loves assisting as much as TD. You can really see that Lin likes to play with Douglas.
DeleteHe and Lin look genuinely happy together.
DeleteAnd Lin made the right play because TD got a free lane to to the rim w/o anyone guarding him. No wonder his teammates love him!
Deletei think generally Lin love playing Pg and making assists.
DeleteGreat all-around game for Jeremy so far. 4p/4a/1s/1b/0to/+16
ReplyDeleteJust keep doing what you're doing, Jeremy...maybe toss in a 3 for good measure.
Lin rested the last 5 min of the 1st quarter and Harden hasn't played in the 2nd quarter.

Why does Delfino insist on controlling the ball on fast break??
ReplyDeleteHe's still trying to figure out what position he is supposed to play.
DeleteI never know what to expect from McHale rotations. Like sitting Harden out for the first six minutes of the 2Q. Working out quite well though, this early Lin substitution -> Harden sits out 2Q tactic. Keeping constant pressure on CHI.
ReplyDeleteBeard back in now
DeleteAtleast Mchale is trusting lin to lead plays without harden on the court. Its a good rotation. The beard will be well rested and attack immediately the second he is back.
DeleteIt's keeping both of them fresh to push the pace of the game. I like this brilliant plan!
DeleteIf HOU scores 27-30 pts per quarter, they'll be on pace to reach 110-120
Delfino is a arrogant scrub
ReplyDeleteI counted more than 4 assists for Jeremy. Wow.nice lay up for Jeremy 8 pts
ReplyDeleteThey corrected themselves and gave it back to him -- 5 dimes.
Delete"He's got deceptive quickness". I'm going to chuck my gym sock at JB.
ReplyDeleteIt's okay though. I used that stereotype against people during my jiujitsu days. People would judge me by by look and I would blow by them with strength and quickness.
DeleteJB: He's [Asik] got really good hands.
DeleteJB thought he was looking at a Greg Smith in Asik.
DeleteKnock on wood but this keeps up Bulls gunna get blown out by 30pts...Go Lin go Rockets!
ReplyDeleteWho would have thought that Harden is the best screen partner for Lin lol
ReplyDeleteBulls fans, where is the over rated chant now? LOL
ReplyDeleteLINSANITY!!!
ReplyDelete...minus the turnovers!
Man! Lin is so quick and aggressive . I love it!
ReplyDeleteand those ultra quick Wing Chunesque hands for the steals!
Deletenice!!
ReplyDeleteLin having a great game while the whole world is watching. The haters are in panic mode
ReplyDeleteTough game for Rockets so far - only a 21 lead...
ReplyDeleteI think it was JB who said they have to force Lin to his weak left side. Seconds later Lin goes left and scores :)
DeleteJB's an idiot. He kept pointing out the most obvious thing that even a little kid know about. His analysis has no intelligent input whatsoever.
DeleteUGLIEST UNIFORMS.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a bunch of hot dogs playing against a bunch of crumpled up newspapers!
LOL
DeleteYou should have seen Knicks uniform...Looks like a bunch of prisoners playing basketball...Well now I think about it, suits them I guess.
DeleteLMAOOOOOO KHuang consider stand up comedy in the future.
Deletecrumpled newspaper lol. i thought its more like those foils wrapped inside out.
DeleteJr smith looks like a criminal lol!
DeleteIn my forms of show business, I do stand up comedy on a micro level on a daily basis.
DeleteMy brain just comes up with this stuff and it's NORMAL for me. I can't help it. Get me in trouble ALL THE TIME.
@Ryu ken. LMAOOOO.
DeleteRox look like they are wearing pappmache but Knicks did worse. They really looked like prisoners :)
DeleteActually, the Knicks looked to me like SHAOLIN MONKS!
DeleteIf Jeremy Lin were still a Knick, I'd go "Amitoufu" and draw 6 dots on his head while I stood on a ladder.
The Lakers looked like a bunch of ghosts. That's what they've played like all season, so no surprises there.
OK :) Thats the chinese view on things :)
Delete@Ryu ken:
Deletethe Knick vs. Lakers game was like the old Street Fighter II video game with Ryu (white) vs. Ken (red)!
You notice that yourself, Ryu Ken?
Just wants to comment on The Rockets uniform... its hideous.
ReplyDeleteThere are no words to describe the horrendous color. If I made that color in art class, my art teacher would have failed me on the spot.
DeleteMaybe the Rockets and Bulls stayed out too late the last couple nights like I did, which would explain why they're wearing those ugly PAJAMAS.
Deletehaha and i thought Rockets uniforms cannot get more uglier. Atleast its just for christmas.
Deletein terms of uniform, I just hate the Rockets logo, the R with dripping ends and the font used in spelling out "Rockets" in the home jerseys.
DeleteLOVE that Lin/Harden pick and roll.
ReplyDeleteOnly good coaching move McHale has made so far!
Actually Chris Finch probably came up with it -- he's the team's "Xs and Os" expert.
Probably LES ALEXANDER came up with it.
DeleteLes is playing NBA Live 2012-2013 with the real Houston Rockets team!

Pathetic, Eric.
DeleteLin is playing WAY BETTER than he ever did with Woodson.
Woodson wouldn't have a CLUE what to do with Lin and Harden. It would be iso-Houston, all the way to the lottery.
Woodson has been a HORRIBLE coach for Jeremy Lin this season, getting Lin kicked off your Knicks like that.
McHale/Sampson >>>>>>>>>>>>> Woodson.
so happy though i cant watch the game stream so slow cannot load here in malaysia :) THANKS FOR THE UPDATE
ReplyDelete12pts 5 assists on 6-8 shooting
ReplyDeleteTotal fluke!
DeleteLin controlling the ball, playing as a PG. Harden playing as a SG, not a lead guard.
ReplyDeleteBulls' starting to play physical D and doing more double teams on ball handlers... I'll be expecting Noah to punk in the second half and draw blood from one of the Rockets...
ReplyDeleteGo Rockets! Go Jeremy!
I'm horrified with all these Christmas jerseys! who designed those?!?! they don't look Christmas at all. they look like practice jerseys
ReplyDeleteIt's like watching the old video game Burgertime in which an egg, a hot dog, and a pickle chase around this insane little chef who tries to make hamburgers by walking on ingredients!
DeleteLOL!
DeleteSquish Squish!!!
Deleteyum yum.
bull balls for dinner
(Ok, I just went way too far even for us Asians)
No way No way the asian dude is playing so well..
ReplyDeleteplay by play idiot described Jeremy as being "deceptively fast" during the first half broadcast.
ReplyDeleteDamn.. the racist crap Jeremy must go thru night in and night out...
Today is my birthday & Jeremy makes my day super special! Let's go Jeremy & the Rockets!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday!!!!! On Christmas!!!!
DeleteHappy Birthday Precious!
Deletehappy birthday
DeleteHappy birthday Precious! ^^
DeleteHappy Birthday!
DeletePrecious, my preciousss! Happy Birthday!
DeleteBTW, are you a fan of LOTR (Gollum)?
Wow! Thank you! Didn't expect to get a greeting from u guys! I'm in the Philippines so it's technically the 26th of Dec here now ^^ hehe
Delete@Psalm234 Yeah I got pretty famous coz of LOTR & Gollum ^^

DeleteWhat a wonderful Christmas & birthday present from Jlin to you Precious! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Knicks screwed up Today
ReplyDeleteDantoni got that win
Nows yout turn LIN!!!
Oh and Felton played pretty bad today in terms of shooting. It def made a difference in the score and i heard the knicks fan were unhappy with his play today! +1 for Lin
DeleteWhaddya expect from a Mike Woodson coached team???????
Deletefelton is playing pretty bad in the last 5 games i think. The guy is not even trying to create shot for the others. He's a trigger happy PG who's badly missing.
DeleteRaymond Felton is Mike Woodson's handpicked point guard.
DeleteAnd to think that Woodson wanted to start Raymond Felton over Lin!
Good thing they lost.
DeleteIm also glad that Lin and the Rockets beat the knicks twice in a row.
This is a +10 for Lin
Good to see Jeremy playing like how we know he can play. Hope he keeps it up in the second half.
ReplyDeleteIt was confidence and the aggressiveness that he was lacking. He's moving to the paint more often without hesitation and he's taking more shots. I like that, hopefully this continues.
DeleteI totally agree with you.
DeleteAsik is beasting
ReplyDeleteLin is leading with +33 now.
ReplyDeleteI actually start to feel bad for the Bulls. They had noone to stop Harden and Lin and they couldn't buy a basket on the other end. This could turn to a 35pt lead soon
Yes. Very high! I was look at that too!
DeleteAnd asik double-double again. Lin and harden making sure he gets tons of opportunities.
DeleteLin posting up Nate Robinson. Now that's a mismatch.
ReplyDeleteguys, new thread.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteI love seeing Jeremy Lin smile. It's like something was pushing down on his chest and now he's able to get some air
ReplyDeletehaha, hes such a nice guy
DeleteWho said Lin couldn't post up? He made Robinson look like a midget lol.
ReplyDeleteLol holy cow 31 points difference. That is no joke
ReplyDeleteCrowd should get a refund!
DeleteOr cheer for the rockets instead haha
Delete31 lead so far. With a 40 point lead Harden and Lin should go to the bench, have a hotdog and drink some light beer.
ReplyDeleteAsik is working really hard to wreck the bulls! Great stuff
ReplyDeleteLOL, Asik is getting his REVENGE too.
ReplyDeleteHarden can get his revenge next week against OKC now that Jeremy is BACK.
Hopefully. The OKC are playing at a high level! That will be the ultimate test!!
DeleteAll starters are at double digits - didnt even notice that!
ReplyDeleteLove how LIN is getting those calls. He def got his MOJO bACK!!!!
ReplyDeleteI knew it was his confidence the whole time!! Hopefully he understands that by now!!!!
DeleteASIK IS BEASTING
ReplyDelete18p/6a in 26 minutes!!! That's some CP3 stuff right here.
ReplyDeleteIf the Rockets keep this lead 20+, he might sit for the night.
Game TOMORROW against a rested T-wolves team.
Noah is getting played out by AsiK?
ReplyDeleteBeleneli is such an underrated player... Gosh missed him from the raptors (yes, a raptors fan here. Torotonian here!
ReplyDeleteI always knew he had an eye for a 3
Whoa, without Lin -- look what happened?
ReplyDeleteBench getting killed?
ReplyDeleteWow outscored 17 - 8 by Bulls its a good thing we had 27pt lead...Down to 17pts...C'mon guys close this out.
ReplyDeleteI think this is all Asik today...Lol they want him to SHINE. He is actually FINISHING wow.
ReplyDeleteAlmost double-double for Lin.
ReplyDeleteIts kind of sad McHale had to keep starters in to play against Bulls bench...JLin/Harden can use the rest.
double-double :)
ReplyDelete23pt lead with 3:22 to go bench best not blow this, Lin/harden/asik sits
WOw 4 starters with 20+ points, Morris has 10, bench combined for 17pts only...Bench needs to pull their weight :/
ReplyDelete
