Yeah, Jeremy was probably lacking sleep during that time, but my interpretation is that Lin has never been comfortable in front of the camera or getting that much media/fan attention. He knows it's part of being an NBA player, so he tries his best. But he's not one of those people who relishes being in front of the camera, and he's probably slightly nervous and anxious, like most people would be.
What Jeremy lives for is playing basketball at the highest level of competition and winning games with his team. And that's really all you want out of an NBA player.
What I gather from some of online info that he has not be sleeping after the whole FA saga and controversy revealed. He has been let go and criticism raining down on him, was an immense pressure for him. But from hospital interval San Jose, Calif, he understand well his journey in the NBA will be a tough one and doubters will always there, watching his every move, waiting for him to stumble. Jeremy understand the pros and cons for going to ROCKETS. He signed the only contract that is available and with a team that believe in him and willing to give him a chance and he will work on his weaknesses and enhance on his strength to show all the doubters he will survive away the hype of MSG.
Is it me, or does jlin just seem like a cool, down-to-earth guy to hang around and be friends with? definitely a fresh break from other tattooed-up nba athletes who pride themselves over getting as much swag and bling as possible, and being all about themselves and money
I just can't believe that there are so many people out there hating this guy. I really don't understand how anyone could hate on him aside from pure jealousy. Lin's so easy to root for and IMO any normal human being should like to watch him succeed.
Sour grape mentality. Especially the player in question is from other team. Anyway, I hope the the other team's beat writer will stop chasing after Jeremy's coat tail and concentrate on one of their own. Funny I didn't read much about the DWI case that happened in their own back yard. What a splendid example for a veteran. SAS kept his mouth shut for a change!
Yeah, I am so sick of the Lin bashing and the underrating even by his own fan base. Go read the Rockets bbs. So many of them predict struggle for Lin and the team next year. Lin's all class. I simply can't understand what is not to like.
This is my first post about Jeremy Lin or any public comment ever. I quit watching basketball when MJ walked away from the NBA because he is the only talented basketball player with class that actually plays with his heart. Kobe Bryant, Ms. James (that’s his nickname around here), Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, and so on…they are talented, but they’re not MJ. When I first saw our boy Jeremy plays against the Nets I bought NBA League Pass with my $408 check the next day. What does this means? I have never spent money on movies, games, music, and even my DirecTV is paying by someone else (I have a 2 year old son that I support while paying for my college too). Sadly, our boy Jeremy had surgery not too long after I’ve paid $98 for NBA League Pass, but as much as I want to see him play and not wasting my $98 that I could’ve got my son some toy, as the Knicks were getting stump by the Heat in playoffs…every game I pray that my boy will not play. I like Jeremy because he might not be MJ or Kobe, but trust me…he is smarter, disciplined, a team player, bring them in more money than they can imagine, and most of all God got his back. Also, I love underdog stories and Rudy was one of my favorite movie..lol. As you can see this has been a black dominated sport, it is a patent, a circle, or a system that Jeremy broke them all. It is something people aren’t used to see yet so there will be haters. I think Jeremy should stay away from that poison snake Melo as far as possible because soon or later Melo is going to bite Jeremy in the A like he did to Mike D’Antoni. Things are going to be harder for our boy Jeremy from now on because he is their #1 target. This is the time that our boy needs our support more than ever. I don’t have anything against black people because all my best friends are black and excuse my writing skill.
Give the young team and fans time to digest the new roaster; the Rockets has been.struggling and fans might be dissapointed of the team performance in the past seasons, it is up to these young players and the coaching team to improve and show some results. We can't aspect them to be in the playoff yet but with talents, hard works, perseverance and solid game play, I don't see why not Rockets can be a future.contender to be reckon with. We have to be patient; Rome was not built in one day!
@michelle I agree with you. This young team needs time to develop, but we will see them do some great things this coming season. JLin will be leading the way!

DeletePeople don't like Lin because he's Asian.
DeleteThey insist that an Asian American male can't possibly be as good as he is.
To the racists, Jeremy Lin is a 6'3" curse finger.
