Knicks Lose - Lin on Tebow

After losing against the Cavs, it looks like the Knicks are locked into the 7th or 8th spot. This means a very likely 1st round exit to Bulls or Heat and no return of Linsanity for the 2nd round.

Here is Jeremy Lin's take on Tim Tebow:

  2. It's funny, Tim Tebow's article has a closeup of his face .... everyone in the TIME 100 list has a closeup of his face .... EXCEPT FOR JEREMY LIN.... the picture is so zoomed out, you can barely see his face.

Why is this ? Maybe some kind of bias against showing a closeup of him ?

  3. The Knicks lost on Amare's return. It will be interesting to see what the likes of SAS are gonna say about this especially if they lose a few more. They can no longer blame it on Lin, can they?

    1. The bad chemistry was already there before Lin started. Amare and Carmelo, essentially play the same position on the court, and neither plays defense.
Plus, when they are both in the game, the team becomes a perimeter jump shooting team, live by the 3, die by the 3 .... no penetration.

Lin solved that problem while he was starting.

  4. I think that Jeremy should have one of his Harvard English major friends proofread his writing before submitting it to a nationally-distributed publication.
We immediately notice: awkward use of a modifying dependent clause, use of the undescriptive word "things," lack of parallel form in a parallel construction, beginning a sentence with a conjunction, ending sentences with prepositions, in addition to instances of stilted syntax...
Of course, this is just English 101 - it's almost certain that Jeremy could have vastly improved his writing had he devoted even a little more time to editing. Perhaps he has too much on his plate?

    1. You are harsh. Haha. I think Jeremy's piece is well written especially for a nba player. But English is not my 1st language so you probably know better than me. Lol.
