  1. anyone else having problems leaving comments? For the past few weeks, I'd say about 2/3 of the posts I cannot leave a comment. When I click Publish, it doesn't even show me the captcha, it just reloads the page and shows the Publish button again. I've tried with firefox, IE, chrome, all the same problem. I'm using openid.

  2. Good interview.

The only thing I disagree with is that Misaka said that he didn't think race played a factor in scouting Lin. We here know 100% that race played a huge and very detrimental factor in scouting Lin in college and the pros.

That said, Misaka was a true pioneer who did big things in basketball.

By the way, MSG's photo of a blue tongued Lin popping out of a fortune cookie had me laughing. I didn't find it racially insensitive at all and actually found the photo to be totally true on many levels.

  5. Thanks for nothing, Jeremy. Now my parents not only expect me to get into Harvard, but now they expect me to play in the NBA.

Thanks for nothing, Jeremy. Now my classmates not only mock me in math class "I thought Asians were good at math", now they mock me in gym class too "I thought Asians were good at basketball"!

  7. There's a really good interview with Jeremy Lin on this page:
    http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/story/_/id/7583284/jeremy-lin-got-my-shot-new-york-knicks-thanks-carmelo-anthony

It's below the first paragraph of text on the right side. He talks about his path, his moments of struggle, the fame that he's earned, his coaches, etc. It's not as boiler plate as most of his other interviews have been.

Edit: Lol, forgot to link the page I was talking about.

  8. I was watching ESPN and noticed the "Breaking News" ticker at bottom of screen. It usually categorized with NBA, MLB, NFL or NHL. A new category appeared: LIN
