  3. I'm surprised you haven't posted the update that Jeremy Lin will not be playing for Chinese Taipei due to a knee injury.

  4. what?!! aw crap. Any knee injury could potentially be career threatening. Need more details! was it a one time acute injury? or a long term repetitive injury?

I have actually been concerned that Lin had been wearing the patella strap since college. That means he's had knee problems of some sort for a long time.

  5. Jeremy Lin was recently named to VIVID's magazine list of Top 8 influential Chinese-Americans.

  6. Brian Chung at SB Nation (a site that's seldom, if ever worth reading) made a good point about GS specifically advising JL not to play.

"...it is strange that the Warriors are against their third stringer, with a non-guaranteed contract, against playing overseas. Perhaps this just means Jeremy Lin will be a bigger part of the Warriors future."

or they need him to be healthy for his trade value?

  9. They probably don't want him to play overseas. Too much travel and not enough time in the gym.

  10. There are chances for Jeremy to play overseas due to the recent lockout. He will be great in other countries as he is still developing his skills.
