  2. blowout but lin still not playing.

  3. Kings are running a scoring clinic on the Warriors. Lead by 21 with 5 minutes to go in the game. No garbage time for JLin.

Keith Smart will use the amazing Acie Law, hoping he will develop into a better player in meaningless minutes.

  4. It's a blowout and Jeremy Lin is still not in. Smart is showing favoritism for Law. Very very obvious, when Law's shot got blocked(in a blowout) and Smart runs out onto the court to yell at the officials - never seen him do this before.
I officially hate Keith Smart now.

  5. Hey folks, you fans in SF should be boycotting the games. Why bother to watch it? Just looked at the score stats tonight, and I can't help stop laughing! :) Dumbo is so stupid, he still can't see his problem as a head coach. And what, he has another 20 games to go? If it is not obvious before, it should be quite obvious tonight. He just let 2 players play for over 15 minutes each and they have "0" points, it means you need to make some changes prior to the game being over.

Dumbo is so stupid that he can not make any substitutions or even realize that if he had more contribution from someone in those 30 minutes, they might have a chance!?

Boycott all the games, it's a waste of your money. Good riddance, can't wait till the season ends! After this season, I think Dumbo and the NBA will never be in the same sentence unless it is says "fired from!" :)

  6. One thing I am impressed with is Jeremy's remarkable composure. He knows he has to be patient now, work on his game and be ready when (hopefully) an opportunity presents itself.

  7. It's a blow out and he still does not play Lin. WTF! I was fine with not activating lin against Magic since we needed another big to take care of Dwight but there is no reason that Lin should not have gotten any time this game! Unbelievable. Release Law or Smart or BOTH! We aren't making play-offs and yet we aren't building any of our talent. Udoh is still only getting 13minutes! While Rad, Law each get about 20+!

Please Lacob take some sort of action. That win against Orlando was a fluke! GS cannot shoot that many 3's in every game! This is the real warriors! Please do something for the future!

Lin should have had at least 10 minutes this game!

  8. Law with the 3pointer in the 4th quarter that would decide if the warriors can get back in this one??
    guess what?

it was an airball as always.

  9. check out the statline from acie law today.
0/4, 0/1 3pt, 1 to, 1 block against, 2 stl, 4 ast, 3 reb. I can sure see why he gets 24 minutes, lol GREAT COACHING KEITH SMART

  10. The Warriors shot 50% fg and 42% 3 pt, which are excellent numbers. Yet they got crushed. Why? Defense, of course. They got outrebounded 46-24, and allowed 57% fg and 47% 3pt. Yet all we ever hear from media and fans is we need bench scoring.

I thought Biedrins lost his starting spot. Why did he play 15 mins when he got 0 pts, 0 rebs, and -9? Meanwhile, Udoh only gets 13 mins even though he scored 10 pts and +8.

Acie took another 3 ptr today, of course missing it. That makes him 0 for his last 10. Hasn't made a 3 since Jan 24. He finished 0-4 fg.

Smart has no clue what he's doing. How has Lacob not hired Jerry Sloan yet?

  11. Lacob is letting "Dumb" keep his job until the end of the season because Lacob is "Evaluating"

  12. there's no reason to fire smart now, what would that accomplish? the season is basically over and we have no hope of the playoffs anyway. it would just cause chaos and waste money.

so we have to suffer through the end of the season with keith smart and hope that lacob is seeing what all of us fans are seeing.

I didn't mean that hiring a new coach will save this season. I meant to hire Jerry Sloan (or some other top coach if there is another) now before some other team hires him. This is for next year.

  14. Well, it's obvious that the Warriors, Lacob aside, don't value JLin a lot. Smart and company probably can't figure out why there's such a fuss over a rookie. On almost every team there usually is a NBA new comer that sits and never gets into games. So why all the hoopla over this rookie on this team? Smart probably is with the school that your average NBA rookie should be grateful just to get a chance to wear an uniform and sit at the end of the bench. So shut up and stay out of the real players' way. He and people like him will never appreciate the cultural phenomenon they have in JLin and the possibility of monetary gains to the Warriors, by the extra butts he'll bring in, just by playing him 10-15 minutes a night. And if JLin can improve himself enough so he can play 20-25 minutes a night which I believe he's capable of doing so, then, whew, we'd be talking about some real money. So in order to justify playing Law over JLin, Law can't be just a little bit better, he's got to be a whole lot better than JLin. But hey, what can you expect from people with a limited world view.

I know the Warriors have a option on JLin for next year. (Does anyone know when must the Warriors exercise this option?) If he's smart, and I'm sure he and his family are, he should get himself out of this team. Another year like this one will finish his NBA career. I think JLin's agent should work out a sign and trade deal with another team. And if a team goes for it, it'd only prove JLin's worth because teams don't usually waste time and mental effort trying to work out a deal over a bench warming rookie.

Look, basketball wise, almost any situation is better than the one he's in right now. How many times has someone written on this forum that JLin'd better off in the D-League. I mean, we're talking about the D-League. So any change would be for the better.

  15. i wish they just send jeremy lin to the D league again.. must be painful just sit on the bench and watch everyone else play.

  16. anybody think the warriors will be good next season?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yea warriors will make play-offs because there will be no season like the NFL :p

And JLin will be signed to that extension without having to play at all next season.

Did JLin ever get a strength conditioning coach?

    ReplyDelete
  18. No guarantee if there will be a next season, just like the NFL...the NBA's CBA is up. Lockout is a possibility.

  19. JLin probably will not play again. What has caused Lin to be in Smart's dog house sheesh.

I really wish someone would just come out and tell the fans the reason why Lin has not been playing.

  20. "JLin probably will not play again. What has caused Lin to be in Smart's dog house sheesh."

It's because Smart feels Lin is not an NBA caliber player, and Smart's playing for every last win so he looks better at the end of the season. Rather than developing, investing, and getting a good look at young players like Udoh, Adrien, Lin, Smart is playing for meaningless wins this year rather than planning for next year.

In retrospect, Lin would have been better off with Dallas because at least he would have gotten a solid season's worth of D-League experience. But no one could have predicted how Smart would have treated Lin (and other bench players) since it was a total unknown.
