Lin gonna get pulled -- not for making the TO, though. He played well, but his teammates are missing shots and Detroit isn't, so they need Curry and Monta back.
again, if smart learns how to help jlin in half court, jlin should get limited minutes with second team. too much pressure on jlin to produce via pick and roll. smart needs to get it out of his hands in the half court. one or two pick and rolls... that's it. run stuff for other people. jlin will be fine. defensively he belongs on the court and is an asset i think. and his open floor skills are great. several missed opps for assists tonight because shooters didn't deliver. not his fault. shot is a project for next summer. he is a solid player by next year.
He also should've had another basket -- Dorell Wright had Lin streaking along the side for an easy fastbreak bucket. But Wright waited too long and let the defense catch up -- turnover on the pass.
"WTF? I didn't know Asians had hops" Well, at least Lin. Lin can actually dunk, if you watch the 'The Legend Of Jeremy Lin' video. Unlike most folks, the intelligence and IQ is there to one day become a viable NBA player. He's probably multi-dimensional too, excelling at other things in life while most are mired in mediocrity. Perhaps that's why closet bigots exist.
just made a sweet lay up, but airballed on a 3
ReplyDeletejeremy lin with the airball
ReplyDeleteHaha, guy needs to know his range.
ReplyDeleteLin with the block!
ReplyDeleteMissed jumper (but looked confident taking it)...then a steal that leads to a bucket. Classic Lin.
ReplyDeletehis jumper looks weird and he should work on that, but he can drive and kick that ball out. he's a steal machine.
ReplyDeleteGame's getting tight. Jlin with the turnover, i wonder if Smart will keep him in

ReplyDeleteMonta and Curry both have four fouls, though. So I wouldn't be surprised if Lin came back near the end of the game.
ReplyDeleteUh oh, Monte with 5 fouls.
ReplyDeleteStephen Curry smart to get to the line, regain his confidence and shooting stroke.

ReplyDeleteHa ha, I can't wait to see a YouTube highlight reel of that shot block on Rodney Stuckey. He's like "WTF ? I didn't know Asians have hops."
ReplyDeleteGood game, should be a real confidence booster for JLin and the team.
does anyone have some video clips to share?
ReplyDeletei don't have a clip. would like to see one too.
