His night is done -- five fouls. I think Smart said, "3rd quarter is yours -- be super aggressive."
Four steals! 3 assists, no TOs. Only downside is 1-4 from FG, but he looked strong driving to the hoop. Just too nervous playing his first real minutes, heh.
I can see J Lin one day becoming a great defensive guard- great hands, good instincts and he hustles hard. I wanted him to sign with my Lakers but am glad he's got a great situation at Golden State.
This was his real debut. Only blemish was him not finishing his drives. He got to the hoop fine, he just seemed a little nervous and the ball rolled off the rim.
Led all players in steals, though! And they were good hustling picks, too. Most of the fouls were "necessary" ones to prevent easy buckets (i.e. not JL gambling).
JLin played well tonight. Once he has more regular playing time, his shots will fall. But he already is making good passes that sets up his teammates well. Lots of quick hands on defense too.
I'm Lakers all day, but GO JEREMY LIN! I'm so happy for him!
ReplyDeleteLin is a steal machine -- three already. Just needs to calm his nerves when he finishes.

ReplyDeleteIs he not allowed to take jump shots???
ReplyDeleteAccording to ESPN.com stats, Play-By-Play 3rd Qtr, Jeremy had 5 steals (1 off Kobe, 1 off Gasol, 2 off Odom, 1 off Blake).
ReplyDeleteDude who runs this blog. You need to create a twitter, and then tweet whenever you post so people know when you post! Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteJeremy Lin's jumper isn't the strongest part of his game. He likes to attack and drive to the basket which he was trying to do.

Not everyone wants Jeremy Lin on the Warriors. Those Warriors fan just think Lin is a mascot.
