Jeremy, congratulation for the major accomplishment. We are all delightfully showered by the joy. Continue your efforts, improvements and NBA journey for days, months and years to come. Go!Fight!!Win!!! With God's blessing. ---VirginiaObserver
Congratulations. I'm going to say that Jeremy Lin will be rookie of the year. I know this predition is a bit unrealistic especially with John wall and Blake Griffin having a good season. However i feel Lin can take the NBA challenge without a doubt. I believe by the 10th game, Lin will be named the starter. He'll go on to average 18 PPG and 9 assist. In fact we might see a triple double in a few games this season. I hope he makes all star game as well.
Overall i think Lin will bring the warriors to a championship. In fact he'll be a future hall of famer.
Big deal. Jeremy's probably going to rot on the bench. When on one of Smart's whims he decides to use Jeremy, Lin should take no prisoners out there on the court.
as a baller myself.. i saw the potential you had in HS and College.. i knew you were born to play this game. it will take time for the GSW to trust you but just be patient and your time will come.. a matter of fact ive seen all of your preseason games and what you have or havent done.. you will be fine in due time. , just keep the TO down
WOW I CANNOT BELIEVE it, I'm pretty happy, I hope this isn't a PR move or a marketing move by the warriors... i can't find the news or the announcement, who has it?
i doubt lin is gonna get any minutes unless its garbage time. im sure him being on the team is gonna gross alot of money for the warriors due to him being a local asian-american in a place like the bay area. they might as well start hosting asian heritage night every night.
Adrien_Amundson_Lin interlock during next 4-6 weeks_Lou_out. Step1:Jeff likely waived when Lou returns. Step2:If Lin can't hold as solid backup PG. Step3:a backup PG will be brought in to take 15th spot. Step4: Lin going to have a long season. It's very critical period for Lin to pickup things quickly. The oopertunity is here,it's up to him to keep it. Major PG appraisal factors are smooth_vs_shaky_passes,assist_vs_TO, and team offense.....
Don't know if you're trolling, but seriously don't do that. It would just make everybody embarrassed -- especially JL. Vote for him when he deserves it. Even if he gets adjusted quickly and plays great, there's no way he'll get enough minutes to deserve an All-Star invite. With a serious injury to Monta or Curry, maybe he could at best make the Rookie/Sophomore game. But that's it and a stretch at that.
I can definitely see him making the Rookie-Sophomore game NEXT tear, though. Both by performance and popularity.
I have NO DOUBT that Jeremy Lin would get lots of minutes . Why ? Because Steph Curry and Monta Ellis is SOFT as a Q-tip. There is no way those 2 cotton puff balls would play 82 games.
It's WRONG,WRONG,WRONG way to approah a game, gaining play times by default: wishing teammates' "injuries" or "as soft as q_tip" mentioned on previous comments.Jeremy needs to earn it based on merits;he has enough talent to carve a place for himself in NBA. Coach could always rotate him into lineup, when he is ready. Most coach would love to have extra reliable hands to spread work load, which will,in turn, result more success for the team. Just be patient, his bright days will come!!!
People need to stop screaming whenever JLin is on the floor. That is not helping him or the team. That is distracting them and messing up their concentration.
Please wait until he makes a shot or gives an assist. That is how fans cheer for other players like Kobe, Yao, Lebron .. etc. Reward them with cheers only when they score. That is how you cheer the right way.
Lin needs work on defense and shooting the 3 before he can be a legit rookie star. Given the opportunity I think he will do better than most people think. Asians definitely get discriminated on the court everywhere in America at every level but we don't whine but just continue to play hard.
I think if Lin holds on to Romans 8:28-31 and works harder than anyone on the team then he's a true winner. Go Lin!

yes, i contacted the management and told them we are not happy that Lin got all only 5 minute-junk time to play or no play, what the deal, if they want us to watch the game, show something real!!!
i never had a doubt! now all he needs is the minutes to improve his game and to prove to everyone that he belongs in the NBA!

ReplyDeleteand if that actually happens, or even any one of those things...yee
Haha, JL already has trolls!! He'd actually be flattered by that. I do think he'll be the primary backup by midseason, though.
