Wore my JLin T-shirt this Sunday which led to a conversation with an Asian American friend of mine about Jeremy Lin. He was excited about Jeremy playing for the GS Warriors and then he told me a great San Francisco Warriors story from his past. Back some decades ago, his neighbor in Foster City for a short time was Hall of Famer, Jerry Lucas. Yeah, right before he went on to play for the New York Knicks, where he won an NBA title in 1972-1973.
One night, Jerry Lucas' wife happened to need a ride to the Arena. So, my friend and his wife drove her to the Warriors game. They were rewarded with great floor seats next to the owner, Franklin Mieuli. How cool is that!!? It always pays to be a good neighbor!
