They should base jersey prices by the salaries that they're paying the players. Hence, a higher paid player, a more expensive jersey (like kobe or lebron); a lower paid player, a cheaper jersey. This way, all of us could actually buy his jersey, get his name out, more team's will want him, and give him more money!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huuggeee fan of Jeremy Lin, our families even worked closely together in SVBC when I was little; older brothers played on the same basketball team. But man.. . 80 buckss??!!!!
Just wondering, why did Jeremy change his number from 4 (which he had for high school and college) to 7? 4 was available for the Warriors.
ReplyDeleteFound the answer to my own question:
ReplyDelete"Lin said that when he showed up to play in the Mavericks' mini-camp, he was handed a jersey with the No. 7, God's number, which represents Divine completion.
"I was like, 'Wow, that's interesting,' " Lin said. "Deep down inside, that was God's way of reminding me he was there with me."

anyone know what the new replica jersey will look like?
ReplyDeletei cant wait to get a jersey, but theyre soooo expensive. and jeremy's a close friend of mine too...sigh...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he switched to #7. I'm still amazed he wore the #4 since that number is notoriously unlucky for Chinese speakers. The Chinese for pronunciation for that number is a homonym for death.
ReplyDeletesh*t. $80 bucks?! I'll go buy one at chinatown for 8 instead. Lin all the way baby!
ReplyDeletedo they have the actual picture of the jerseys yet? i'm gonna get one just to support jeremy. go warriors!
ReplyDeleteGo Jeremy!!!! I know GOD will prepare you and do good work through you!!!
ReplyDeleteHe faced legitimate competition last night in All-star Tyreke Evans and Luther Head. I hope Jeremy can adjust to the physicality of the NBA game, and take care of the ball!
ReplyDeleteI'm really happy I fell upon your blog and I'm going to be following!
