Jeremy Assists in 74-66 win over Santa Clara
A sold out crowd of 4,700 was on hand Monday night to see Jeremy Lin and Harvard take on the Broncos of Santa Clara. It looked like close to half of the Arena was clothed in black supporting Lin, Oliver McNally (of San Francisco), and the Crimson. It wasn't Jeremy Lin's best shooting night but he tied a career high with 9 assists. A handful of other passes were converted into points at the free throw line. With a few NBA scouts on hand, including a Los Angeles Laker representative, Jeremy displayed very good court vision and passing touch down low to his big men. Freshman Kyle Casey continues to impress and improve, scoring a game high 27 pts to go along with 8 boards. On the defensive end, Jeremy had 3 steals and 2 blocks to go along with a few taken charges. He did have some trouble keeping guard Robert Smith in front of him. The 6' point guard was lightening quick and very impressive for a Freshman. The Crimson improved to 11-3 heading into conference play. Now we need to watch and cheer the Crimson on to a Ivy League title, so we can see Jeremy play in the NCAA tourney!
